Terrible. He sucks. Do not take this teacher.
Makes sexual jokes majority of the time. I am an A+ student, very serious about my grades and after making a 64 on the first test (and I know the material through and through) he commented that maybe next time I would take it a little more seriously.
HE IS NOT A BAD TEACHER. FROM THE FIRST DAY HE TOLD US THAT ANATOMY IS HARD AND IT IS ALOT OF INFO. IF YOU ARE A NURSING MAJOR-GET USE TO HIS PERSONALITY-HE IS A DOCTOR. HIS TEST QUESTIONS ARE JUST LIKE WHAT WE WILL DEAL WITH IN NURSING COURSES.

This teacher does not teach! He simply tells you to memorize 30 diagrams(not exaggerating) and he will test you on 7. I really didn't feel like I learned as much as I could have. He also does not follow his syllabus. I barely made a C in his class.

I am being very honest. I had him for anatomy 1 lab and droped him the first class. He is way to into himself. He talked and talked and wanted us to do way to much. his greading scale sucked with all the stuff we had. I siwched and happy i did. dont take
His tests are so hard. I wish I would not have taken his class. All I do is study and I still fail the tests. He could make them easier, but he dosen't.
All that he does is fly through power point presentation every day! He doesn't give you enough time to take notes over the slides. You have to read 2 chapters a week (about 90 pages) and then get pop quizzes on them. Do not take this teacher! I warned you!

Dr. Morales does not teach. He will prepare the chapter as a power point presentation and rush through the material while interjecting too many examples about his own research which I wasn't there to learn about. I think he is extremely intelligent and wants all his students to know it.
Intelligent, but lacks instructional ability. Take his class if you are adept at learning on your own. Lectures consist of him zipping thru Powerpoint presentations...skipping topics that he either doesn't like or doesn't understand. Ask questions if you expect to understand and survive.

Morales is a teacher you have to work hard for. You have to read the text and study a lot. But if you do you'll be rewarded. The tests are easy if you study and hard if you don't. We got him to give us reviews and those helped a lot. Funny guy. Get him to tell the Yankee stadium story. :)
Nice,funny,intelligent. Skips through lectures too quickly, but they are straight from the book. If you read carefully, you can pass his class. Pay attention to charts and small details. Tests are hard, but passable. You must be interested in topic to get an A. Extra pts. are given on tests.

He is a smart man. But just because he knows what he's talking about doesn't mean you do. He isn't as bad as other people told me he was, but he is tough. Show your interest and study hard, and he will notice. Nothing that's worth it comes easy. and he's NOT easy

In response to some others... You are in college of course you have to read and to study, he breezes through chapters but expects you to learn from the book as well. He prepares you for nursing school by making you responsible for learning. They will NOT hold your hand when you get to nursing 101..

This was the hardest class I have ever taken, but I learned a lot. He really noticed how hard I was trying and helped me a lot. I think he has to be hard, because the subject matter is so important. He also tells a lot of stories and is fun to listen to. His tests are brutal though!

His lectures were interesting enough, but when testing you'd better read the book. I am repeating this class with another professor to improve my "C" and have already learned/understood more in half of a semester than I did the whole semester in his class.

Good teacher, but you have to study to get good grades. The subject is not easy so it makes it hard to understand. you have to read, read, read! Test are fair and grading is too. Take home test hard but passable. Good guy and kinda cute. You will learn a lot but don't expect an easy A or B!

Please stay away from this guy. He sucks. He make you believe that he's an easy guy, but he's not. There's only 2 test and no extra credit. He's not willing to help. He only interested in talking sports. You have to study very hard just to make a C. He's a lazy teacher. If you take him, you only ask for a C or below. You have been warned.
Stay clear of this guy, he talk nice and funny and only talk about his wife and son. He practice favoritism among student , not ready to help you boost your grade, you are only working for C if you choose him. He made everything difficuit than it is. Pls avoid him like a plague
He is a great teacher! No college biology class is supposed to be easy. You will learn if you listen to lectures and put in an effort. He has a great way of explaining the subject so you can understand. I really enjoyed his class.
Challenging class, but great professor. You must work hard at getting a good grade, he's not going to ace you just because you show up to class. He really makes you think about what you're learning and makes the class an interesting learning environment.

Okay - the class is not easy. A&P is a class that you will bust you *** in if you want to pass. Morales was a great teacher and very fair. His lectures are fun and interesting. Don't down play a professor because the class is hard - you must study!

Anyone will tell you that this is not an easy class. This is not the fault of the teacher. Morales is a great teacher, funny, and wants you to do well. I suggest daily attendance for any class you wish to do well in. For this class I would say that it is mandatory as there are pop quizzes.
DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS! He is a funny teacher, but his tests are VERY HARD! HE DOES NOT CURVE AND GIVE ANY EXTRA CREDIT! I got 3 A'S and one B this semester and I am stuggling to get a B in his class. I might even get a C :-(
Although many of you have hear Dr. Morales is hard, yes he is hard on the test's, but it is what you learn that is important. He know's his stuff. Very intellegent man, cute also. But then I am closer to his age than most students anyway. I have nothing bad to say about him, he is willing to help, if the student really wants help.
if english is your second language, dont take this teacher, he requires to read a lot, and requires us to know a lot from reading.

Great teacher! knows his subject. Tests are extremely hard. you have to read, re-read and read again.......No extra-credits. I am struggling to make a C in his class.
This is a very difficult course, and he teaches it like it is. He acts "tough", but he gave everyone in the class a 12/12 for a quiz we knew about before hand. Study hard, and read a lot!

Dr. Morales has been my favorite teacher. He is challenging, but brilliant and so willing to help! His illustrations are clear, and his grading is very fair! I'm sad he doesn't teach more classes! Take him, but be ready to WORK and LEARN... nothing is given, it must be earned! :)
Dr. Morales was great. He gave out take home exams for Summer 2007. He goes by the book and very detailed. He'll tell you the facts and answer any questions that you have. He's very nice. I'm glad that I've taken him. =)

Dr Morales is a very good professor. He gives an overview of the information. If students dont understand, he will continue to go over the information until you understand. Dr. Morales tests are multiple choice and he goes over the questions before the test. You must read the chapters though. Easy to talk to.
Dr.Morales is an excellent teacher.He is willing to go o ver his lecture as many times as possible for all the class members to understand. He always gives reviews before any test for clarity. He is the best biology teacher I have ever had. Irecommend him to all the biology students.

He tries to address every question during the lecture. He will make himself available as much as possible. He lets you know what is going to be on the test.
I took class online, so didn't interact with him much. I just read the book and took the tests. His posted notes weren't very useful. Tests questions came directly from quizzes, and quizzes could be taken twice, so averages were high. When I asked for clarity on quiz questions that I was confused about, answers were unsatisfactory.
I am now in the nursing program at Emory. Dr. Morales help me get here. He was helpful in many ways not just with the material. He was honest about the difficulty that this profession. He prepares you. He is great.
Professor Morales gives an easy A-just follow his syllabus and read the book. He takes all test questions from the quizes, so print them out and you should ace the tests. Also, you can take quizes twice, so you have no excuse for not getting 100 on every one. Just take it the first time, print it out, and retake with the answers!
Dr. Morales cares about the productivity and success of his students. His ability to take complex concepts within Human Anatomy and present them with ease and understanding in unparallel and simply amazing. It was a true blessing for me to have been a part of his class.

Prof Morales is hotter than a habanero chili pepper and smarter than most professors I have taken. He is superb at Anatomy and Physilogy and provides the teaching on your level. Took this class online. The thing I liked about his class compared to some other BIOL teachers is that you don't have to go on campus to take the final and exit exam. All I have to say is his quizes are his test ?'s. If you don't have a lot of time in your schedule his online class is perfect!!! Just make sure you e-mail him 4-5 days in advance if you have ?'s. Best teacher, I am taking whatever class he's teaching again.

Prof Morales is wonderful. This was my first time taking online classes and he was recommended. I passed with an A, but you do have to study and read the chapters. He will give an exam prior to the course to see what you know and then at the very end. If you do the work you will do well, wish he taught Micro...Great Professor.

His class was very easy. You get two chances for every quiz. The tests are questions straight from the quizzes. However, don't expect to get an email response from him within 48 hours. He is too slow to respond and not involved in the class whatso ever. I should make an A in the class but I didn't learn a thing.

This class was SO easy. I really don't felt like I learned a lot, but I still got the A that I needed. You get three chances for every quiz/test. If you just need the grade, take this class. If you actually want to learn- this is NOT the way to go.
I was reading the other post and they said it was so easy. The teacher is to the point and clear A and P hasn't changed. He doen't try and trick you. It is what it is.

i have him for the online class and it's pretty good. One quiz per chapter and 3 tests and a final. all of the quizes are due before the test. you get 3 trys for a quiz and takes the highest grade :) but only one try for a test. BUT! YOU HAVE TO READ!! The tests are the ssame questions from the quizzes so you SHOULD do well.
This class is for independent people. You must learn to manage your time... You will get what you put into it... He is very clear with his requirements... He is replied to my questions rapidly... I wish he was teaching other courses...
There is not reason why you can't pass this teacher. He is very straight forward in what he want. His test are straight from the quizzes and if you save the quizzes you can just look back at them for the answer if your not sure about the answer wink.. and the quizzes give you all the right answers after your submit.. No excuse to fail this class.

I recommend him. Gives you 3 chances to take each quiz so there is no excuse not to make a good grade. My only drawbacks with him is if you have a technical issue with your computer thats beyond your control, he exercises no mercy. Don't get on his bad side either because he is notorious for going off in emails.
All of the reviews you read prior to 2011 are from online students who took this class before the school changed the policy of online finals. It is true that you have 3 chances for quizzes and the test come are straight from the book. The final is 35% of your grade and is written by the department. The final is nothing like his test or the book.
Please do not take this online class. This professor is very lazy, no interaction with the class. He just post the work for the entire semester and thats it. If you have a question, you fear asking because all you get is sarcasism and attitute. Oh let me not forget 100 questions with 1 hour and a half to answer.Please get you super cape!!!
I'm lost for words. I took A&P I online with Morales, and the only thing that I can say is beware. He allow you to take the quizzes twice and gives you the higher grade, but don't ask questions and think you?ll get a legit response, and don't make him angry if so the entire class will suffer. As for the final, no study guide, your on your own.
This teacher gives u the advantage of taking his quizzes 2x, then avg the grade. No interaction with the class except for mass emails regarding the face to face final. For quizzes, u need to read. Exams are a combo of various quizzes. The dept final was okay and not as difficult as his exams. If you are not self motivated do NOT take this class.

Not a bad class. He gives you instructions at the beginning of the semester and you need to make sure you follow the timeline. You get 3 chances on quizzes and you get to keep the best out of the three grades. Tests are on three chapters at a time. No study guide for final only because he does not create the final and doesn't know whats on it.
I took Professor Morales' online Anatomy & Physiology II. He outlines the whole semester upfront so you already know what is expected and when. He does not veer from that. It is straight forward. 3-4 quizzes per section then a test. Test is taken from quizzes. A total of 4 tests, 13 quizzes, 2 scanned coloring book assignments and the final.
I am currently taking this class and I took it because people on here have said you get 2chances on quizzes but you don't. He uses a lockdown browser and he doesn't really seem to care if you are having difficulties in the class. I would not recommend him to anyone. Find someone else.

Schedule is given at the beginning of class, but doesn't make assignments available even on due dates (changed in the middle of spring break) and only gave 4 days to complete. Doesn't respond to emails and pays more attention to cheating than teaching.
Had him online. He outlines the ENTIRE semester upfront, but doesn't baby you in telling you every week what you need to have done. 4 tests, quizzes over every chapter. His tests are like 100 questions each, and the quizzes are roughly 50. Overall it's a do it yourself kind of class. And you don't have to interact with your peers. Just do the work.
Run as fast as you can and don't look back. Worst professor there is, rude, unorganized, lab not in line with lecture, quizzes due before work is done, fails to respond to emails, and seems as if all he's after is a paycheck!I don't need a babysitter for sure, but a teacher is to do just that teach, He doesn't!

outlines the entire class, gives 2 chances on tests and quizzes and averages them together. Beware, the department makes the final and he does not prepare you in the least for the final. He makes the final 25% so you can have 100% of other points, bomb the final and end up with a C. Emails are hardly english, with misspellings every other word.
I would not suggest having him as a professor AT ALL! He never answers your questions clearly,responds on time or sometimes doesn't even respond at all, never helps you as a student,doesn't give you a study guide for anything, and his quizzes are due before you even have time to complete the actual work that you need to know for that quiz.
Worst Professor EVER!! Did not contribute to any discussion the entire semester. Didn't respond to any questions or posts the entire semester. If he is your only professor for a lab, wait until another semester. I have a 98 in the lecture class and a 74 in the lab class. Do you see a problem here?
as stated if you miss even one assignment, even a death in the family, he will not drop and you will drop a letter grade or two, All As on assignment, missed two and his final guide was nothing if none at all related to the final exam. Be ready to receive a low score.
Dr. Morales does not communicate well to his students. He lays out what he expects students to do for the entire semester. You follow. His quizzes and tests are fairly easy. It does not prepare you for the final exam so you better read and study well during the semester.
I enjoyed this class. For the most part he is very clear in what he expects. What I will say is the Labs are due after the quizzes but the quizzes are on the labs. Make sure you do the lab before you take the quiz or you will most likely fail that quiz. His test are fairly simple if you remember what you did during the labs. He final was confusing.

Quiz every chapter; all q's from test bank. Test every 3-4 chapters (easy if you study the quizzes) and uses lock down. Proctored final 30+ q's (summer);study guide was actually relevant. Read! Day 1 find an online video series coinciding with text. It will help you more than he does. Knowledgeable, but you'd never know. Probably better in person.

Easiest Lecture class online. Got a C the first time so took class over online with him and it was the best decision ever made so I took Anatomy 2 online with him also. Do the quizzes before the deadline and take test the days it's open. No make up and 2 coloring book assignments to upload. Got an A in 1 and 2 online with him. Questions are online
His online class is not hard the quizzes are easy and are the same questions for the tests. the Final was 50 questions and it's based on what you study the whole semester. I'm taking him for A&P2
I took him online for human anatomy ll this past f16. He was very organized. Beware of the in face2face final. Although he gives you a study guide it will not help just study the quizzes he gives you which can be found online. He does use lockdown while taking the the test but not the quizzes. I bought the textbook only to help study better.
The scheduled weekly plan does not go in order, so a few times I thought I completed everything I needed to for that week, only to find out that the schedule is not in order and I missed something! Additionally, quizzes and tests are due before you actually get to do the lab work, so I had no idea what it was talking about. Unclear expectations.
Second time taking this lab class. Took before with another professor. Morales is way better. Received the grade I got b/c I didn't do the last 2 labs and flunked the final. Took online and had to come to campus for final, which was on a computer.
Dr. Morales is very easy going. As long as you do the work, you're good. Taking him again for A&P 2. You won't regret taking him. Not saying this class is easy though. Participation is important and study the quizzes. Tests are same as quizzes. Requires lockdown browser. Final is on campus and pretty much self study.
Entire course is outlined in the beginning. There is a "quiz" (70+ quest.) for every chapter but answers are online. He uses lockdown browser while taking the test (every 2-3 chaps.) but not the quizzes. Quiz questions are test bank questions. Face to face final is made by the depart. Coloring book assignments. Just do the work and you will pass.
Morales is a pretty alright teacher. You have three or four quizzes due before the exam, which aren't too difficult. Then for the exams, study the quizzes and you should be ok. You get two attempts, which is nice. He averages both attempts tho. The final is given face to face on campus, about 40-50 questions. It counts for 25% of the course grade.
Basically you read the book and teach yourself. All online. Uses lockdown/webcam for exams. Virtually no contact with him all semester.
Overall, he was okay. He is okay when it comes into terms with communication. The only thing I didn't like was there was no study guides, and every test was recorded via webcam and microphone. Not the teacher's rule, but the state. There are a lot of time consuming labs, but you don't have to purchase the text book. I took it online!
I wouldn't take this professor or suggest him. He's very stuck up and doesn't really care about students success. I was sick toward the end of the semester and he was overly arrogant about working with me.

Morales is super cool. I took his course online. If you study the quizzes, which answers can be found on quizlet, you will pass the class. All of his test are derived exactly from the quizzes and so is the final exam. Met him in person for the final on campus, he's hilarious.
No chance of xtra cred. His criteria & expectations are clear from the beg. As prev said, quizzes are all searchable. Tests on lockdown are based on those quizzes (but there are A LOT of questions to study from! 75/chapter). His final review is awful - just study all of the quiz questions. He gives no leeway for emergencies. Missed one test.

Get ready to do a lot of self teaching. His lecture notes make no sense and seem like a bunch of sentences copied + pasted from a random source and put together. Spent hours every day interpreting his notes and reading the textbook. Didnt help. Lots of assignments. Difficult tests. Save your grade and take someone else. Online class isnt worth it
ALL THE QUIZZES ARE ON QUIZLET. multiple sets may be needed to take a quiz. i suggest starring the questions as you take the quiz and then using those to study. ALL TESTS ARE MADE OF QUIZ QUESTIONS. no point in getting the book or studying his notes. stick to quizlet to pass the class.
Took him for A&P 1 Lecture online and will be taking again for A&P 2 Lecture online. He's completely upfront with his expectations. He seems stand-offish and unreachable, but he's just really no nonsense and to the point. 4 quizzes, ALL on quizlet, and 4 exams that come from quizlet questions. Just print and study the quizlets, you'll be fine.
This is a teach yourself Anatomy with his online typed notes. He gives 3-4 quiz on every section and one test. The midterm is made up of one of the quiz from the chapter pretty much. His final review is just a waist of time to do, because it does not cover what all of what will be on the final.
He DOES NOT give extra credit and he DOES NOT care if you miss a test for whatever reason. I am writing this review before I even know my final grade because I never had a professor that I felt like didn't care about their students success so bad. College gets overwhelming, and sometimes things are late... but he does not care!
A&P1 Lecture Online: Use ONLY Quizlet to pass this class. I typed all questions is word and printed/studied them before each exam. Each exam (including the final) takes questions from each quiz. You cannot go wrong with this method! No xtra credit
Heres the prob w this prof. All quizzes on Quizlet verbatim. All tests are quiz questions verbatim. Awesome if you want an easy A. Horrible if you need to learn and apply your knowledge as a nursing/dental student. Memorizing Quizlets will only hurt you on your TEAS exam which is A&P heavy. I will not take his course again even though I made an A.
Dr. Morales is a good professor, you can contact him anytime. is true all his quiz/tests are in Quizlet but if you don't look for them he gives you a PowerPoint to study every chapter. In this class you have a lot of reading . He gives you weeks to do your assignments and questions are on quizlet, however you do not really learn the information. Test are the most important things in his class . He does none of his lectures and post a lot of information that are useless to the test. NO EXTRA CREDIT, NO MAKEUPS.
What I did not like about him was that he doesn't cut out the information you don't need to focus on. His notes are not really any different than the textbook, so you end up teaching yourself. His feedback was always, "just read the chapter over again several times", as that is what he had to do when he was learning the subject.
Averages grades so even you do well on next attempt you still won't pass. Does not teach class, just posts TONS of material to read. Tough grader, tests and quizzes due on weekdays by 6pm, impossible for people that have jobs. Responsive but not helpful. Prepare to teach yourself everything.
I would not recommend taking him at all! He basically does not teach and expects you to know everything in the textbook and more. No extra credit provided and no curving in finals. He also does not give homework, so there is no guide to help out in what to know.
I'm not done with the class and I already have issues. He is an absolute jerk. He doesn't care about your life and don't bother to ask for any help from him you'll get nothing. Tough grader, no feedback, no extra credit, absolutely rude. Do yourself a favor and pick another person. These reviews DO NOT LIE. This guy shouldn't be a teacher.
Just no, quizzes and test are proctered quizzes are same length as tests. two tries on quiz and test but different questions the 2nd try. quizlet helps sometimes but tries his best to be "spontaneous" and switch questions. self taught class choose someone else
Terrible Professor ever! You don't learn anything in his class. The textbook cost $480, his PowerPoints don't provide vital info for tests or quizzes. He uses lockdown browser and allows 2 attempts for each quiz, if you decide to retake one, the questions won't be the same as your first attempt. If you love anatomy like me, DON'T TAKE HIM!!
The labs were pretty easy and simple. Overall was an easy class if your on top of everything. Be mindful that hes not willing to work with you if you miss something and does not take late work. I failed the class with 80-100 on all assignments because of a missed midterm. No extra credit.
Yes, the coursework is all quizzes and tests. However, Professor Morales provides study guides that will set you up for As on the quizzes and exams if you complete them. He does get his questions from quizlet, but I read the chapter once, completed the study guide and studied quizlet and came out with an A. He's always available.
Professor Mores does not use the text book. He said it was too expensive for students. He gives quizzes and exams. He also gives a study guide and his test and exams are not realistic. You have to read the information he provided and you will ace the tests. He is not difficult and he is easy going and always answers his phone whenever you call.
His class is made up of 14 quizzes, 4 discussions, and 4 tests plus the finals. His discussions simple and the quizzes are on Quizlet, his tests are made up of quiz questions. He gives you two weeks to complete 4 quizzes, 1 Discussion, and 1 Test every unit, however they are due on Friday at 6PM so plan AHEAD bc he will not give you extensions!!!
Dr. Morales is organized. 4 units w/4 tests, quiz a chapter, & 4 discussions. Mastering NOT required, he doesnt upload recorded lectures, but he has powerpoints & youtube videos to teach you. Study guides for each quiz w/2 attempts &everything on quizlet, make sure to use that as a study tool. He makes everything due at the end of each unit at 6 pm
Dr. Morales is clear and organized. I appreciated how quickly he responded to my questions. I wish I had him for my other AP course I took. He is excellent.
I do not recommend taking his lab if you are a working professional with a full-time job and/or have other adult responsibilities that take up your time during weekdays. All of his assignments (labs, quizzes, etc.) are due on Saturday evening EVERY week. There are no exceptions to missed coursework and there is no extra credit.
Online lecture-no teaching just list of things, study guide list to just study everything on your own 1 to 43+ items. list of words/terms, weird list of notes, 230+ slides, no actual teaching videos from him. Nothing!
Great teacher. He always answered my emails quickly and set up meetings to discuss any questions. If you follow the study guide you will do great.
I would take another class with him...it is very straight forward. Much better than other classes I have taken with other professors.
Dr Morales always returned my emails and phone calls when I had questions. He is the best. Not all instructors will do that. I like the organization of the course. Easy to follow. I would take him for another class.
Take this professor! He was amazing and very caring with his students. He gives you study guides and as long as you study the study guide you will pass the test. He accepts no late work but the homework is very easy. He is very funny and is very easy to talk to always called me when I had questions. I plan to take this professor for A&P 2
RUDEEEEEEE doesn't even begin to describe him! He's condescending and dismissive. I have ADHD and explained that I need a bit more support, but it went in one ear and out the other. If you want to avoid extra stress, steer clear of any class he teaches! 0 out 0f 5 stars
The professor has a specific teaching approach, but engaging with it pays off. Lectures align with the free textbook. For study prep, ChatGPT and unstuck AI were super helpful.
A&P is already a difficult course but Professor Morales make it SO SO MUCH more difficult. Don't take him.
This professor made the already difficult subject of A&P so much more difficult. The questions on the quiz frequently don't aren't easily understood from the textbook. Don't take him for an online class at all.
I took him for A&P 1 & 2 lecture. Both online. He is test heavy. Theres a quiz about 20 questions after each unit and a test with the units combined about 50-60 questions. he provides powerpoints and you can also purchase the textbook. I passed so thats all I can say about that but i would see how other would avoid him. he uses respondus lockdown
