Something about him catches my eye! His voice, his shoulder length hair, his confidence? Who knows what it is but I have an awesome view every evening during class!

DR P is honestly one of the best instructors I've ever had. He has an superb way of communication and trully loves his job. He cares about each student and In my opinion just wants you to understand his appreciation for the subject. He Inspired me as a student and influencd a lot of future goals. He deserves a raise! Dr. Pacheco is a very wonderful professor! He makes learning fun, and makes you open your mind to the possibilities of science. I would recommend him to anyone interested in taking a biology course. Thanks Dr. P, you are a GREAT educator.

Not someone to take if your looking for an easy class. But to be honest he really does want you to learn the subject. He will go out of his way to assign bonus points to help you pass, but you have to get that A or B on your own.

I truly enjoyed both classes I had with Dr. P, besides the fact that he is soothing to the eye, he loves his job! He is very clear in his lectures and never boring. I loved his sexy terms, its catchy. Attendance not mandatory but why miss staring at a sexy professor! It's awesome to walk out of a class educated. Thank you, Dr. P

Dr. P is an awesome instructor. He keeps things interesting and fun which, let's be honest, keeps us involved! He is always willing to help and also, always willing to try to describe something in another way so that YOU can understand. I highly recommend Dr. Pacheco if you are taking this course!

Dr. P. is such an AWESOME instructor. I took Bio for Summer and it was tough/challenging but I do love challenges.He always gives so many opportunities to get extra points &better your grade.Iwould greatly recommend him.Many instructors lack the enthusiasm and knowledge of what they teach but Dr.P. dosnt lack any!Gonna miss his sexy terms & accent.

Dr. P. is a brilliant professor. He has a passion for the subject and teaches it in a way that reaches many different learning styles. He is amazingly fair and gives 150% to his students. I love anatomy in large part because of him. Thanks Dr. P.

Dr. P is easily the best professor I've ever had. I absolutely love him! I'm taking Bio in the summer, it's a heck of a lot of work but I really feel like I'm learning a lot. I think it's totally because he's such a great teacher and he really cares about his students. I love his lectures and his "sexy terms", they're great. Highly recommend him!

Dr.P is a cool teacher but his class is a little hard so make sure to pay attention, he gives many extra credit.

He is a very friendly guy. I do have to say his class was a bit challenging and his tests are hard but I did learn a lot. I recommend him if you are on top of your studies

I have no idea how I came accross this site, but if it is any help at all to future Biology students of EPCC I don't mind having some input. I would like to comment on Dr. Jose Pacheco's passion of science and teaching it. He is an extreamly educated, intellegent man who is also a pleasure to look at every class period.

Awesome teacher! Yes he makes you work for your grade, you must attend classes, there is a lot of homework, tests are in depth and require a lot of studying. If you are willing to put in the work, then this class is for you. Dr. Pacheco is willing to work with students, willing to work,he is very informative and easy to talk to. Great Professor!

AMAZING PROFESSOR!!! Will work with you and give you many opportunities to make up assigments and earn extra credit. Requires a lot from you and there ara lot of online quizzes, homework and other assigments but nothing he didn't already covered and explained in class. Passionate, kind and extremely professional instructor. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!

Awesome professor!!! He is a great instructor and you actually come out of his class having learned tons of information. His class is a little difficult, but he is always available to assist in any way. It is obvious that he truly cares about his students and has a passion for teaching and science. I hope to take his class again for Anatomy.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!! he help you a lot if you are stuck with some late work, very attentive and he values his job. very passionate about biology, you will learn a lot if you take his class, but it is hard you really have to put your effort to have a good grade i got a b but is the grade that i am more proud of in all my classes.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!!!!!!!!! Hard, but so passionate and knowledgeable of any existence of life. Makes anything sound so interesting and is hilarious in such a nerdy kind of way. Definitely recommend him in any of his classes. But pay attention he quizzes a lot. And will not let you go home early, EVER.

The best professor I ever had.

So charismatic and happy to teach. Something about him is really hot. If you really listen to his lectures and participate when he asks questions, the class will be a breeze. Gives lots of extra credit opportunities. Tries to be funny and it's cute. He makes you feel good about yourself because you're going to school and getting an education. SEXY.

Taking a class with Dr. Pacheco might be demanding but you will end up learning a lot. He gives you tons of homework, extra credit quiz and his tests are multiple choice, short answer and compare and contrast. You really need to study and attend to class if you want to get a good grade

He is an amazing teacher! if you have a chance to take a class with him, do it. I will be taking my second portion of biology with him, jut because he gives and amazing lecture. Very passionate. but be ready to do work, demanding course.

lectures are intense - lots of material: but he will tell you what to focus on for exams, lots of quizzes, at least one per week in lecture and lab. You will work for your grade, the grade you get is what you earned depending on how hard you work in this class. Very prompt at answering emails if you have any questions. great professor.

This was a demanding course, but Dr. P is a great professor. He breaks down chapters really well & uses a lot of repetition so you can remember the info. He's super sweet, cares about his students, & always said corny jokes. On the downside, he assigned workquizzes almost every class! Plus he's a picky grader! As long as you study, u can get an A.

He is a tough grader, and does make you work for your grade.... but he is an amazing professor and really makes sure that you understand the material. He is VERY knowledgeable in the subject and has great lectures, but be prepared for homework and tough/tricky tests.

The best teacher if you want to learn. The exams are very hard, with filling the blank vocabulary, multiple choice, and short answers. He explain very well and provides a lot of extra credit even for attendance. If you study really hard show up to class and do the extra credit you would pass.

I took Dr. P for Biology 1306 and loved him so much that I took him for Biology 1307 as well. His class is definitely not an easy A, but it's not impossible. With lots of studying and communicating with him it's totally attainable. He will be more than happy to help you if you reach out to him for help.

Let me tell you something about Mr. Pacheco, he is the sexiest biology teacher you will ever have bar none. Just don't get too caught up looking into his eyes because if you don't pay 100% attention you WILL fail. He's tough but fair... oh and did I already mention he's a total babe! I would definitely recommend him for students willing to work.

Awesome professor. Knows what he's talking about and teaches courses that branch off of this so he knows what to emphasize. Really cares about his students. He goes over multiply times why we spend a chapter on chemistry, because its foundation of life and we need it to understand reactions in the body. Will be taking him again for any class I can.

Great professor, the class is hard, test are heavy, but you learn lots and lots of things, Dr. Pacheco is super smart, and he cares for his students, gives lots of extra credit. Also, super dreamy, but if you look to much the eyes you won't pass.

I wish I could add more tags! This prof is the best I've ever had. He's very passionate about the class and he cares if the students pass. He cares deeply for time management so be prepared to stay the whole time! He's really smart and accessible. He offers lots of extra credit. He's an inspiration. Hes too perfect! Class is tough but you CAN get an A if you work for it.

Great professor will make you work for your grade. Felt like the study guide didn't match well with the exams though so i stuck to studying the lectures instead of the study guides. Very funny and is a professor for the students, all you have to do is ask him for help and he will go out of his way to make sure you understand the material.

Actually the hardest class I've taken so far in my 3 semsters of college. He's a great guy, super passionate, but this man really loads on the word. Memorization is a huge part of this class, He is super heavy on taxon memorization and identification. Only take this class if you are willing to put serious effort into learning the course materials.

Dr. Pacheco is a really good teacher and really knows his stuff. Thats probably his downfall with teaching such a basic biology class. He gives so much information, its really hard to keep track of his lectures. I would recommend printing out his power points! Only take this class if youre ready to study.

Dr. Pacheco shows passion & enthusiasm in every lecture and inspires you to learn. He can give lots of homework, but he also gives lots of opportunities for extra credit. As long as you complete the assignments online and in lab, take advantage of the extra credit opportunities, and do decent in the exams, you will do good overall.

Dr. Pacheco is one on the best Instructors Ive ever had. His tests are hard and there is plenty of homework. Attendance is mandatory, you miss one day you miss a lot. He will make you work for your grade, but what Ive learned in his class has been amazing. I would take a class of his again in a heartbeat. Not to mention I got an A in his class.

Make sure to READ and do online homework which is not hard but it does help with the exams. You will have approximately 6 exams and lots of pop up quizzes for extra credit.

Dr. Pacheco was one of my favorite profs thus far. His interesting stories combined with his extensive knowledge about the subject made it a pleasure going to class. My advice for acquiring an A: Print out lecture slides, write notes on them, record lectures & go back to listen while studying. Making notecards & quizzing each other helps too!

Dr. Pacheco is an amazing professor but his class is DIFFICULT. You will have 6 exams which have 50 questions and essay questions. The final has 100 questions and also essay questions. Dr. Pacheco is passionate and very helpful but he puts so much into his lectures that it is very hard to learn everything at once.

One of my favorite professors. Gives amazing lectures, but nearer to finals, does speed up a bit. Caring, funny, charismatic, will work with you if you've shown effort. Takeaway: ONLY WRITE WHAT HE IS SAYING VERBALLY AND ON THE BOARD. Do not waste time writing from slides, they're accessible online. Choose lab partners carefully&attend daily.

Lectures are amazing,really tries to help you understand the material. There is a lot of memorization but it's a BIO course Srsly, what do you expect? STUDY, jot down what he SAYS, NOT on slides. Study guides are just that; GUIDES. Exams are worded to situations so to have a better grasp on learning. Gives a lot of E.C. but tough on exam questions

Dr Pacheco is very passionate about this subject and his lectures are very interesting. You MUST take notes and study from the lectures because the exams come right from it. Also be ready to spend a pretty penny since he makes you buy everything he can. access codes, textbook, manual, etc

I took both lecture and lab, he is a very understanding and helpful professor. Gets back to your emails asap, gives you enough time to complete assignments you just have to be on top of your due dates. Very knowledgeable in what he teaches. As long as you pay attention to lectures and take notes youll be good.

Dr. P is great. His lectures are recorded so you can listen to them as many times as you want. Every 2 weeks you do have a discussion, quiz, assignment, and exam due. He gives tons of EC so it's very easy to get an A if you stay on top of your assignments. He very responsive and cares for his students. Exam are based on PP pres so pay attention!

If you want to see what passion for Biology looks like take Dr. P!! He is one of the best professors Ive ever had. His lectures are very interesting, explains very well in detail; honestly, if you get a low grade is because you didnt do your part. He is funny, caring and accessible and gives you lots of EC opportunity. Youll learn a lot

Gives a ton of work. So much work I found myself ignoring other classes to finish his work. Grades papers super fast so you always know your current grade. DIfficulty is only hard if you don't watch videos and/or do the study guides because they help with test on about 85 % of questions. Good at explaining so I liked that. Learned a lot.

Overall, he is an outstanding professor in terms of knowledge; he REALLY knows every single thing/word that is coming out of his mouth. He gives TONS of extra-credit, one of the kindest professors out there, and he will always goes out of his way (above and beyond) to help his students. Be aware: LECTURE & TEST extremely heavy.

Dr. P is nice and is always there for you! I always went to his office hours to ask questions, and he always did his best to help and gave some tips! The hardest thing about this class is the exams; the review does help, but only a little other than that it is just your understanding and luck, so you need to understand the material to do well!

He is a nice and enthusiastic professor! He does give extra credit opportunities many times. He does assign a lot of work but if you dont wait last minute it should not be a problem. Make sure to study for test I made the mistake to not and it harshly affects your grade! He is a understanding and flexible professor and always ready to help.

He is so passionate about his job and cares so much. It is a difficult class, but all of his exams are based on his lecture, and his lectures are amazing. I suggest recording them. His exams are the main part of his class, 50% of your grade. He also gives one homework assignment per exam, and that's it! No way you'll fail unless you give up. 10/10!
