I love Dr.Vidot! He's amazing, caring, helpful and entertaining. I haven't taken math in years and was nervous to take it. With his help/teaching style, and DOING THE HW, I'm getting an A! I have so much respect for him. Shout out to the M&W night class! He really has a way of making you understand!

Dr. Vidot makes the course very interesting. He helped us look at statistics from a different perspective. I learned a lot in this class

I took him for 97 and 98. I hadn't taken math in years and with hard work and his help, I got through it! W/ Math 98 you NEED to pass the final, so STUDY the practice tests he gives and go to tutoring. He can't do the hard work for ya, but he's helpful if you ask! He's very "New York", so don't take him if you don't have thick skin :)

Love this guy. Great teacher, always willing to help you fully understand. Get to know him personally, he's a great guy. I recommend him to anyone who wants a professor with a down-to-earth personality and teaches according to math concepts in the real world. You won't regret taking his class!

Professor Vidot was very helpful if you showed interest in the class. It was a fun to learn, but it seemed like he had only one way of showing students how to figure a problem. When we would have confusion, he wasn't able to explain a different way very often. He doesn't have any patience for those who don't try to learn, very helpful if you do.

Great instructor!

Very clear. He gives a curriculum calendar pacing guide that has topic and assignments due by date. He also blended the class so that you have the option to do homework online or paper and pencil. I really appreciated the flexibility this gives me in my busy schedule to do homework and practice. This is an excellent and professional teacher

One of the last few teachers that will literally do EVERYTHING possible NOT to give you a failing grade.

We followed a routine where we would learn the material through lecture and then short practice. He would walk around and help us. Then feedback would be immediate. At the end of class we always did practice test type questions. Good class. Good sense of humor. Very helpful and skilled teacher

This is my second time taking Math 095 and I am so glad I took Mr. Vidot's class. He is a teacher that actually cares and wants to see his class pass! On your quizzes and tests he lets you retake them for half the points so you can get a better grade. And he is constantly going over questions from past finals to better prep you. TAKE THIS TEACHER!

CBC's College maybe class is infamous for being almost impossible to pass 1st time thru (2 attempts and even 3 or more is common). With professor Vidot however, I made it 1st try. You can't have a more knowledgeable and helpful instructor but if you're not willing to make the effort to study you will not pass the class.

Dr. Vidot is the nicest teacher I've ever had. I struggle with math, but he's willing to work with you, and encourages people to find out what works for them. The first time you learn a new subject, he makes you do it by hand, but don't worry, he'll eventually show you how to use internet calculators to do the nitty gritty calculations. Great guy

Great guy. Changes his mind alot! Will work for you! I didnt need this class but needed 5 credits. I received a 3.3 and am decent at math. Thanks Mr. Vidot :) (he reads these)

Professor Vidot really cares about his students and wants them to succeed. He volunteers his time outside of help when he sees that students are struggling with the material. I would definitely take more classes with this professor.

This class is very fast paced so please be ready for that. You will not pass the test if you do not study. Jose will help with anything to get you through the class. He is super funny and teaches to pass the test. will not teach you stuff you don't need to know. He's great and has a wicked sense of humor. :0)

Jose Vidot is an amazing instructor. He really works for you. He will tell you what you need to do to receive the grade you want and skips all the nonsense in between.

I absolutely would recommend him! He is the best instructor I have had. I am terrible when it comes to math, however he made it very easy to understand as well as feel comfortable and put me at ease when my math anxiety. He teaches you what you need to know.

Great Teacher!

The professor provides us with tools to use. He makes us learn how to do it by hand first and then the tools. Simplex method was tough for me but we had good class discussions on how to do the problems and what they mean in the real world.

Tough Class, great teacher. Show up, do your work, make effort and you will pass. Disrespect will get you no where in this class. Listen, and do it his way. Super smart

Loved the class!! You have a project but you do small parts as the quarter goes on. He gives out review sheets for the test if you ask for them and that is how the test will look. I did take his class in fall of 2016 but she as an amazing teacher.

Worked hard on project. Gives multiple ways to pass the class not only reliant on exams although we had 2 exams plus final. A project is worth 25%

Very good teacher. Makes class interesting. Graded on presentations participation quizzes and exams. Do your work participate and you pass. He is very New York.

Dr. Vidot said many times "you really have to try to fail one of my classes". Bottom line, he cares about the success of his students. Our class wasn't "exam ready" for our send exam, and the day before when we were reviewing he could see that. So that night he took out 11 of the 25 problems that we had trouble with during the review. Awesome Guy!!

HANDS DOWN, BEST PROFESSOR AT CBC!!! Cannot recommend this guy enough. Wish he taught a variety of classes so I could keep taking classes from him. He is awesome, genuinely cares about his students and their success. Participate, and be up front with him. You really have to try to fail his class.

Great professor! Very caring and really helps you understand the importance of the material you are learning. There are homework and assignments due weekly but as long as you log on and do the work you will pass. Lots of extra credit too if he sees someone is not doing so great. Highly recommended!

Love having access to all the assignments and materials so I could work at my own pace! Definitely not a fan of the pearson system that is used as I felt like I had to teach myself the majority of the material. The teacher is nice/fair but the curriculum sucks for this course! Id choose this teacher again for this course though!

Dr. Vidot is an amazing instructor. There is quite a bit of homework but he gives you plenty of time to do it. The quizzes are very similar to the homework, so as long as you do well on the homework, you will do fine on quizzes. He is very clear on all instructions given with assignments and discussion.

Professor Vidot worked with me when I was struggling. He gave me various options on ways I can raise my grade. He was really helpful when I had questions. The homework is just like the quizzes so if you do the homework you will be fine on the quizzes.

Professor Vidot was very helpful and invested in our success. He was willing to help anytime I had questions, and was able to explain the material in an easy to understand way. I took him twice for Math, I really enjoyed his class.

Professor Jose Vidot is a great teacher. He cares about his students and is always willing to help them in any way he can. He gives out extra credit and is accessible to have meeting with his students. I would defiantly take another one of his classes. He lays out the quarter very clearly and gives you plenty of time to complete assignments.

Mr. Vidot, has been a great professor. This is my second class with him and he does a great job with assigning homework based on what was learned. He is also generous by giving us extra credit options and cares when we need help to succeed in his class.

Vidot has been a great professor in the past which is why I made sure to take his class this quarter. I would definitely recommend. Ive heard that other professors that teach this class arent very helpful. Vidot is easy to reach, understanding and flexible. 10/10.

Dr. Vidot is a great professor who really cares about his students and the subject he teaches. If you put in the effort to do the assignments and read the directions its easy enough to pass. He wants to see you succeed and wont do anything out of his way to hurt your grade!

He is a great teacher. Some homework is a little longer than others but other than that he really does a good job making sure you're doing okay in the class.

Professor Vidot is one of the best professor Ive ever had in math. He cares about how we are doing in class. The week consists of homework then quiz and at the end of the week a discussion question. Sometimes he gives more time to do the homework and that is super nice!

Very time consuming, lots of reading and taking the time to understand but after working on it it gets easier. If you have any questions he will answer clearly and he always makes time for his students. Emails answered within 24 hours if not quicker. Super cool guy, I think he'd be so funny if taken in person.

Professor is helpful for students in bettering their grades, and treats people respectfully, has patience and clear instructions. Recommend he's class as well.

Mr. Vidot is very responsible and on top of all students status towards all course tasks. He is fair and gives extra credit for those who missed opportunities to finish tasks. He is also really funny and makes the class really fun and current. He's really easy going, and answers questions really fast. Plus you'll get the way he teaches math!

Dr. V is great! He wants his students to know their stuff, but he also wants you to pass his class. Good teacher; good guy. He usually gives extra credit, and he tries to make himself available if help is needed.

This was a difficult class but I struggle with math. He does give homework and tests but it's easy if you just following along. Really nice and helpful just make sure you pay attention and do your work.

great teacher and challenging material

You will use the program he uses but it is very easy to follow, he gives you plenty of time to complete all the work depending on how much homework is due. You will have homework, discussion and a quiz for every chapter and about a week to complete each. As long as you time manage you will due great!

My professor cares about students grades, makes sure we know when we are close to failing and wants to help us to get a better grade, reminds us also ways to get credit, I lot of respect but test is very difficult, especially when watching videos and read textbook, taking notes is best, to improve class, but sometimes it is still hard with notes.

I feel I made a good choice in Dr. V. This is Not an easy class, however all you have to do is watch the videos, read the material (it isn't a lot), and "Ask Your Instructor" and you will do fine. It is crystal clear that Dr. V wants you to succeed. You get multiple (99) attempts to get homework questions correct. Be present & you'll do well.

Great professor! Highly recommend taking statistics with him. Of course, statistics is not the easiest, but professor Vidot made the class easier.

Always checking up on the class and has many assignments to be sure that everyone is keeping up and knows what to do. Discussions are very helpful and classmates give good advice too.

The professor is very nice and shows that he cares for his students. I knew I could talk to him if I had any questions because he answers quickly and helps me understand the material. I am not a huge math person but this class was great and would recommend it to everyone!

Choosing Dr. V for Stats is one of the best decisions I have made in my academic career. His students use an interactive program, which I really like. There are so many tools available that it is impossible not to learn. Also, Dr. V is very approachable. He responds quickly to questions and gives great clarification. Thank you Dr. Vidot!!!

If you struggle with math and need to take a Stats class, this one would be your best bet. The Prof. will help you as long as you reach out for it. ASK QUESTIONS and ask for help if you need it.

This was a difficult class but watching the videos and doing the homework helped me out a lot. He really cares for his students and will respond right away if you have a question.

Dr. V made this class enjoyable. There's lots of reading & videos to watch but it's really helpful & you get points for it so it's worth it. You also get graded for homework & discussion posts. Everything that is on the homework is on the quiz. Quizzes are not graded heavy & you get to redo them for better scores. If you try, you will pass! 10/10

I thought he was great. Always was available to answer questions and made the class very easy to understand. I liked that he would post explanations for hard problems from HW. Great teacher!

Professor Vidot is the perfect professor to have for a math course like Statistics. He is always available and responding to emails and hes very understanding and motivational. He records step-by-step videos on how to solve certain problems that most people struggle with on the homework, because he wants to make sure everyone is on the right track

Professor Vidot helped me a lot although the class itself was difficult for me personally not a fan of online courses, aside from my courses I had a lot of personal issues and Professor Vidot was super understandable and was able to work with me

He is really good he makes you subscribe to this math app thing called stare crunch its 100 dollars but it's so worth it if you learn how to do it all by hand which is hard but the star crunch does it all for you and you can use them on quizzes and the homework is exactly like the quizzes plus you have multiple attempts on homework and quizzes.

I really enjoyed this course. I loved the professor. Truly eased my mind on stats

Dr. Vidot wants all of his students to succeed in his class. Introduction to Stats is not in easy course, especially online, but the way Dr. V organized his modules and recorded videos really helps.

He was such an awesome teacher! I struggled w/statistics but he offered so much help, always posted videos on how 2 solve problems, responded quickly 2 emails, and let us improve our grade on the midterm (not to mention he let us do it open book w/our notes). I wouldn't take his class again bc I struggle w/math but I would take him again as a prof.

Hardest class I've ever taken; BEST prof. I've ever had. He let us do test corrections on the final, gave extra credit, final was open for 3 days. If you had questions he would make videos on it, lots of lectures to explain things, and would meet with you for zoom at like 9 pm and 2 am. THIS CLASS IS HARD but this prof. cares a lot about his class.

Prof. Vidot is so kind! I am terrible at math and I succeeded in his class. He's a great teacher and a great choice for a math prof. Also, our book was online which was so convenient. We did have to do a group project (kind of) at the end of the quarter. It wasn't too bad though.

Taking this class for the second time, it was so much easier. He made it seem so much easier than my last professor. The lectures and work were clear to do. The group project for 171 was very easy to do but for 172, it was a little time consuming as I had to send many emails back and forth to the students grading mine and to him.
