She can be a bit frustrating.. but definitely the best spanish teacher I've ever had... She teaches really well and she is so nice and gets so into her lectures!!!

She is very cool and she's funny. She doesn't give too much homework, and she drops your lowest grade of everything!!! The class is not boring, and we watchd a movie and sometimes she gives xtra credit. Ella es una profesora buena :)

for some reason i expected the class to be a breeze, but i'm very suprised with myself on what i've learned and how well i've retained the information that she taught us. she's a very good teacher, and doesn't give a lot of work. I suggest her if you have ADD, as she moves around and talks a lot.

She is funny and outgoing, there is no way to get bored in her class. You dont need the book just study all her handouts and you'll get an A. it may seem like a lot of work at 1st but it dies down 2 months in. HER GRADING IS FAIR,plus there is plenty of extra credit. She cares about her students and is willing to help you if you need it, just ask.

She makes Spanish fun and accessible, and puts a lot of effort into actively involving each student. She is very fair in marking, and pays attention to the detail and effort you put into your work. I learned so much more in one semester than I thought I would! She's also quite funny, and will crack you up, sometimes accidentally. Very caring person

She is an ok teacher. She loves what she does, and tries to make her students interested. A very easy grader, but has a tendency to go over topics too quickly or not thoroughly enough. However, she is always willing to help if you are having problems. Overall a very nice woman, and a decent teacher. I recommend taking her spanish classes.

She's really amusing and nice. I learned a lot, and had fun doing it too. Hard to do early in the morning, so kudos to her. Her pet peeve is being interrupted by phones going off, etc. She's trying to teach, have some respect. She is by far the best Spanish teacher I have ever had. Explains in a good easy to understand and best of all in a helpful to memorize way. She is strict concerning attendance and leaving class for any reasons, but is very flexible. I learned a lot in her calss. Remember you must do at least 32 hours of lab mandatory for this class. She is great!

I am taking this class for the first time with her she is a really nice teacher, she loves helping people who need it also helps people who already know Spanish. We never use the spanish 02 book so i recommend not to buy the book because you will not be using the book at all and it will be a waist of money if you do.

My first time to take Profesora Culton's class this year. I have taken Span 1 & 2 before and I am taking this class as a refresher's course before moving on to Span 3. Mrs. Culton is awesome. She thoroughly answers questions. Don't break her rules, they are simple rules that should be common sense and if you went to high school, they shouldn't be an issue. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK!!! Big waste of money and you can't sell it back :/ However I looooved her class.

Mrs. Culton is an exceptional teacher. With a class of 40 students, with maybe 80% native speakers and 2 per cent having never taken spanish before, she makes every effort to treat and grade all students fairly. If this was a REAL beginning, as advertised in the school schedule of classes, spanish class, it would be even more awesome!

Attendance is mandatory ifyou miss 3 times you can not take the first quiz or second depending in which quiz you are in but the quizzes/pop quizzes/tests/mid term/final exam are easy. I notice others have complained that she perhaps tells too many stories,strays off topic a bit. I didn't see it that way. She is a brilliant Spanish professor because there's a purpose to those stories that is very effective in bringing to life the cultures of Spanish speaking people that very much aids in immersion into the language.

97% of the class is filled with Hispanics the rest are people who don't speak Spanish. Ms Culton treats everyone the same. For non speaking students if Spanish is hard for you and Culton will make this class really easy even tho most of the class knows Spanish you will learn how to speak it once the semester end it is not that hard, take her ASAP.

I love the class the teacher is very smart, understanding, patient and teaches very well, because she speaks many different idiomas. Russian, French, German and ect.
