Excellent professor, very clear and cohesive. Makes sure all the students do well. Textbooks are not really needed, as he gives you all the notes on the test. He grades fairly, and his tests arent to hard but can be a bit tricky. Highly recommend.

I Love Consolo sooooo much. I had him for Eco 13 in the Spring of 2014. When I tell you that I passed Eco 12 because of him, I'm not lying. & when I found out he was my Summer 2014 Eco 14 professor, it made coming to my summer classes way better. He's funny & an all around nice guy. He tells these amazing stories and you never want class to end :)

He knows the material of Economics and presents it to the students very clearly. He does get off topic sometimes to make a joke and then when he does, he talks about it for awhile. He gives reviews for the exams and cares. His exams are fairly easy and you could probably get an A on the exams just off reading class notes alone.

I dreaded taking Macroeconomics. I heard it was very hard. Mr. Consolo put an end to those thoughts. He explains everything clearly. You have to read the book. His notes are great clear cut. Attendance matters. He gives you three exams and a final. Everything that is taught in class is on the exam. There are no surprises.

He's funny. But too much funny. Can spend whole class talking about music or actor or something else far from ECO. it was really great and interesting from the beginning, but annoying in the end. And you still cannot use your phone and have to listen. But about eco, he explain everything very good. Great notes. Tests aren't straight foward, but ok.

His lectures are always very thorough and clear. The grade is composed of two tests and a final with minimal homework. Slightly repetitive, but is super helpful for students with lackluster attendance. He's always very respectful towards students although the discussion would sometimes go off topic. They're enjoyable conversations though.

This is my second semester with Professor Consolo. He is so kind and caring professor! Always ready to help you. There were three exams and three quizzes throughout the semester. Do the homework and discussion board it will help you earn extra points to improve your score. Study his notes, it will help a lot on tests. Take him. Definitely the best!

The class was taken during the fall semester during covid. There was not a lot of work. For each chapter you needed to read, watch the videos he posted and do the assignment which all of them gives you an extra 10 points in the class, they are very easy. There are 3 quizzes and 3 test including the final. Each quiz is worth 10% and test 20%.

This is my second time having Professor Consolo and I absolutely love him.His grading criteria is 3 quizzes that is 30%, 3 test is 60%, discussions 10%and if you do all 10 hws you get extra 10%.So the max you can receive is 110%. He always give reminders with announcements everyday.Try to make a group chat with your classmates it will help a lot !!

You do have to buy an online textbook which kind of stinks, but I took Prof. Consolo for ECO 12 and 13 and his assignments and tests are super straightforward. Do the homework and the readings and you will excel. I got an A+ in both classes just by doing that.

He is a good instructor for online class. One thing that I didn't like that if you go beyond the material he posted, just because you know something more you not getting anything for it. You have to follow exactly by material and do not say less or more. Otherwise you not getting full credit. I like to develop my ideas, but had to fit in 1 sentence

Very enjoyable course and the only great professor worthy of teaching Microeconomics in the whole CUNY system. You may find spacing mistakes in his notes, but you can manually fix a lot of that like me while reading everything, where I kept copy-pasting in my documents to edit. Put in the work and your learning and knowledge will earn you an A+.
