HE was very helpful and made sure everyone in the class passed if we bombed a midterm or final we could write a paper (just coping our notes) and as long as we turned it in we got full credit and bumped up our grade 20 points and you get an A for participation just by showing up to class!

I had Prof. D'Argenio for T2K. Very clear, helpful, and easy with requirements. Almost too nice. All lecture and note taking. Barely uses the board. Will ask you questions to get you involved in class. Read the book, take good notes, and you'll be fine. Hope to have him for a full semester class in the future. Take him if you have a choice.

I've had the pleausure of having Mr. D'Argenio teach for my History 101 class and my History 103 class. He keeps things interesting and lively. And when it comes to tests, as long as you put forth a decent effort for the history terms you'll get a good grade on the test.

Learned a lot in both of his classes. Gives many opportunities to do well. If you don't get an "A" it's YOUR FAULT. Take good lecture notes, participate, scan the chapters.

T2K. Three terms definitions which are used for tests. Take notes for an extra grade. Lecture format. World maps with required countries; top 12 cities of the world. Gives every possible opportunity to succeed- if you don't IT'S YOUR FAULT. Gives good advice for future teachers. Not the most exciting class but you will learn important material.

amazing professor! i had him for Geography 101(i dont even like geography!) but he made our class want to come every day! he cares about his students and helps them in every way possible.*he is a huge germaphobe* its very funny sometime.but he has great stories to keep you interested and learn more! T2K - you have 3 exams. he gives you a list of terms to define..the more the write the better grade and more extra credit you get! you will also have to memorize about 10 places on 2 maps for each exam! its easy! you also have to give a class presentation! theyre plenty of chances for extra credit! AMAZING PROFESSOR!! YOU WILL LIKE HIM!

Not bad on the eyes. Lectures are often boring and does not cover much. You basically teach yourself through the terms list. He canceled class a lot which annoyed me. A lot of people failed the tests. He is a nice guy and wants you to pass. Often is too quiet during lectures though.

Very thorough. Definitely need your text for this class. Lectures are text based and he gives 2 pages of definitions every 4 chapters or so. He also utilizes the National Geographic Website. This professor offers many opportunities for extra credit. Worth it to take the class.

Make sure you study for his tests because they are worth so much of your grade. He is a fantastic teacher and he will not let any student fail, he is willing to work with you. I recommend taking him!

Prof. D'argenio is an awesome professor. He has a great sense of humor and offers so much extra credit there is absolutely NO WAY anyone can fail one of d'argenio's classes. Be prepared to take lots of notes quickly...he says it's because he doesn't get much sleep so his coffee keeps him hyper!!! The class I was in was a hybrid class so prof. D'argenio told us if he liked the class he would take the timer off the exams. So far he has done that for 2 exams

Mr. D'Argenio is one of the smartest Professors GCC has to offer. He understands students don't like certain classes like cultural geography so he tries to make it fun and easy in hopes that you'll learn something that way. Tests are easy, usually open book, and he gives lots of extra credit. Great humorous person, and great teacher.

His class is an extremely easy A, all you got to do is read the book. He is quit interesting to listen to and always keeps your interest throughout his lectures. Only it was hard to keep up with the notes because he talks kind of fast. All in all easy A.

Professor D, is an extremely chill guy. In order to pass his course you need to get the answers right out of your textbook; like it should be in a course like this. All given questions to answer in his class are instilled right in the textbook and very easy to find. Although you don't need to luck to pass his class, for the sake of it, GL.

Great guy, I took the class online but he is very slow to grade. I'm still waiting for papers to be graded and final grade was due yesterday.

First off, let me just say that this dude knows how to dress to impress. With that out of the way, he's the best history teacher I've ever had. He's extremely knowledgeable about the history, the archaeology, and even the linguistics of all the people groups we study, it's incredible. And ridiculously easy. Like, you could do it in your sleep.

Terms and exams online. Generally easy. Class itself is a little bit boring. Overall, not bad.

Took him online for 102. His test questions are straight from the book. Assignments are graded fairly easy, as assigned about once a week.

Phenomenal professor. I have no interest in history at all but needed to take one to graduate. I picked the perfect professor. He is extremely flexible with assignments (there are only 3). And all exams are short, online, and easy. He is willing to work with you on anything you need and is very understanding. Easy A in this class.

There are three assignments, which are time consuming, but aren't difficult at all. He has 3 quick tests that are online. He is very helpful with everything and laid back. Prof D is a boss - flat out. He's extremely humorous in his lectures which just make them enjoyable and enticing you to keep coming. I learned a lot I didn't know. This teacher was great! I took it as an online class. He gave you all the work that needed to be completed in the beginning of the semester and then you just worked at your own pace as long as you had it in on time. He even opened everything back up at the end of the semester if you didnt get something in.

He was so nice and understanding. i asked for extensions and he gave them. The course was clear cut and understandable. It was not the least bit boring. He really did a great job putting it together. I wasn't an "easy" class but if you read the assignments, it wasn't hard to get a good grade. He also gave tons of feedback.

Mr. D is very flexible but demands course work be complete. If you pay attention and do your work you're most likely to get an A. His tests are easy directly from the text and notes. By far the best teacher I've had yet.

I have had D'Argenio for the past three semesters or His 103-104, and now Political Science 103. Being a History major, I have searched high and low for a great history professor and have certainly found it in him and his wife as well. This class is clear-cut, interesting, and not overly time consuming as long as you can time manage .

I was nervous about taking an this class online but Professor D'Argenio made it easy because the expectations were clear from the start. Don't be fooled though, you will have to read the text and complete ALL of the assignments if you want to earn an A. Easy class if you are willing to do the work.

He was a great teacher who cared for his students. In the beginning of class he always asks his students to make sure they are not running into any problems with the course. His class is all lectures and four online tests. You also must complete a couple term identification lists which are not hard. Very fair and would take again.

I enjoyed having him as a professor because he did not treat us like high-school students, unlike some of the other professors teaching at RCGC. If we did the work that was given we passed his class. Attendance wasn't a big deal, he understood that we all had lives outside of college. I respect him as a person and especially as a professor.

He is a great professor and genuinely wants you to pass, very lenient and understanding also. Lectures are informative and he includes you into scenarios so it's relatable. Aside from being extremely handsome and looking young for his age he has a wonderful personality and sense of humor. I would highly recommend taking him. Do the work though!

If you somehow manage to get out of this class with an 80 or lower, you're either ridiculously lazy andor illiterate. He's very nice and helpful. Half the class is online so all of the work is submitted through blackboard tests, vocab assignments, everything. Literally just show up participate in his lectures if you take notes and pay attention you pass, you nay have to read a little but nothing is required. His lectures are crystal clear and he is not boring

This was my 3rd semester in a row with Mr. D. All of the information and expectations are clearly spelled out in the syllabus. If you follow the instructions, complete your assignments and tests on time, this class is an easy A. I would definitely take his class again!

This teacher was phenomenal. I took American federal government for fun, his DQ's were long enough that you could write a two page paper for each but I believe he only required 250 words or so. I would take this professor again!! I learned so much and it was online, so he really put the information out there for you to understand completely.

Probably one of the best history professors Ive had in a long time. His terms can be a little demanding, but if you stay on top of your work, you should be fine. He is more than willing to work with students on delayed tests and work.

Mr. D'Argenio is a great guy. I had him for Western Civ 1 and you can tell he loves history, which makes the lectures easier to listen to. His terms lists aren't hard to do, but they are extensive. He doesn't care too much about attendance as long as you do well with your work. Overall, an interesting man and an interesting class.

Mr. D'Argenio wants you to get a good grade. He models his class after this and the content is not difficult at all. The only requirement is that you set aside time to complete his assignments, which I might add, are not that many at all. As long as you do the assignments the rest is easy. 10/10.

Grades fairly and gives useful feedback on assignments. I took this as a summer class online and this professor was very understanding in regards to how quick the class is and how much homework there was assigned. I would recommend this professor.

My first online . I heard online classes are so overwhelming but he made the content very simple . I took him in the winter time for the accelerated 5 week course . It might seem like a lot of work at first but it becomes easier . Very good professor .

He does a great job with either online or web enhanced classes, but I suggest his online classes. The online classes are the same work with no class time. Super great professor! I took this class to finish my high school requirements, I'm a sophomore, it is an easy A. We had 8 essays and 3 tests, he graded fairly easily. There was a lot of reading , but it was really easy to get an A as long as you read each module.

Mr. D is a great teacher. I took his Geography class online, and not only did he respond to concerns from students quickly, he was also very understanding regarding issues with completing assignments. There were eight essays and 3 exams so as long as you read the book, you'll do fine!

Not necessarily a tough grader, but I received a lot of points off for dumb things (like using conjunctions, which during my time studying for my bachelors in communications was never a problem.) Easy assignments and lots of extra credit offered, just wish I knew if I needed it since none of my assignments are graded yet. Assuming I'll get a B

This professor is one of the best professors to take for a history course at rcgc. You can he really cares about the courses, as well as the students he is teaching. The tests are difficult, but he prepares you well for them.

Mr. D. is an EXCELLENT instructor. He came highly recommended. I say that he is a tough grader but only because he wants you to read the book and understand the material.. Sure you can write the minimum 250 words but did you truly read and do you actually know the material. The more you write the better the grade, the easier the exams

Mr. D'Argenio is an awesome professor. You can tell he cares about his students and what they learn. I really enjoyed his lectures he always got the class engaged in discussions.

His online geography class is very easy, anyone can pass it. As long as you do your work, you're good. His grading can be strict at times, but you can always do extra credit. Plus, not a ton of work. Would definitely take a class with him again.

Mr. D'Argenio is a great professor! His lectures are hilarious. On the first day he walked in with a fedora on his head and a cane under his arm and his wife came in with dalmatian leggings. Every sentence that left his mouth was entertaining. He also gave me extra credit for writing about the horses that Cortez used.

Tells jokes very few assignments honestly its hard to fail his class

He is super laid back & an engaging lecturer. He gives you assignments at the beginning that you have all semester to complete. He gives extra credit opportunities & genuinely cares about his students, not just their grades and classroom etiquette. Not to mention he is an impeccable dresser. I highly recommend.

Super chill teacher, I had some days where I couldn't attend class and he would say no problem just check the syllabus for due dates. Very nice and very funny, cares for his students to pass.

Mr. D'Argenio was literally one of the best professors I've ever taken, his quizzes are super easy, and he gives you multiple chances to take them. No exams, only quizzes, and he offers extra credit for each quiz. His notes go along with the quizzes. His lectures are very specific and they're usually funny. He's really laid back and just great.

Professor D'Argenio is an excellent professor. He is an outstanding lecturer and his class discussions are very interesting. One negative about his classes is that he is very slow to grade and not very responsive to emails.

I really liked him. His lectures are very funny and engaging. My only word of advice is to make sure you're keeping up with the homework. He didn't set any due dates and we didn't quite finish the lectures, so it's better to be ahead on the homework so the last day doesn't sneak up on you.

Took US History 1 & 2 with him - both accelerated 5 week courses (summer and winter) - I love him. The only hard and fast due date is the last day of the semester, so you can truly go at your own pace. Each module is 1 quiz and 1 paper; about 2/week. No final or midterm; pdf version of the textbook easy to find for free online.

I took 2 online history courses, he is great! But, I did not like the essay format of the assignments, it felt to much like English making it hard if you have not taken English yet. It makes more sense to focus on content instead of format. Have every student answer straightforward questions from each chapter instead of one, it would help testing.

Professor D'Argenio has a very straightforward grading criteria. As long as you follow that criteria, it's pretty easy to get a decent grade. I never had to reach out to him about anything so I'm not aware of how easy or difficult it is to receive extra help. Regardless, he does offer extra credit and all due dates are at the end of the semester.

Professor D'Argenio instantly became my favorite professor! His lectures bring the material to life with immersive stories, making it relatable and comprehensive. Not strict with attendance, though you won't want to miss his interesting lectures. Everyone is offered extra credit options, chances to retake quizzes, and help throughtout the course.

LOVE this professor! Such a kind and funny man, very understanding and helpful whether your in person or online. Offers extra credit and really wants you to understand and do well. So helpful and will do anything to help you pass. You have to do the work but he is very leniant with deadlines and understanding of all issues. Interesting classes too!

This online course had 8 modules each with readings, an essay question, and extra credit. All were due by the end of the module so you could choose when you wanted to start and finish your work. He graded relatively fast and with all the extra credit opportunities it was an easy A.

I really enjoyed this self-paced US History course, it was flexible around my schedule because I was able to work at my own pace. I would definitely take another course from Mr.D. :)

This professor was very easy to follow. You have 10 quizzes and two written assignments to complete by the end of the semester. He gives suggested due dates, which are great to follow. There are lectures, but they are not required. However, they are fun to listen to! I enjoyed his lecture stories, and the workload was simple enough to excel in.

Professor D'Argenio is really lecture heavy, and while it's slightly tedious, I learned a lot. Overall, I loved the class. He keeps things interesting, and as long as you pay attention, the class is incredibly easy. I'd absolutely take this class again.

amazing professor. class is not stressful at all - good to take if you need the credits but have a heavy semester. attendance is not mandatory. class is lecture-based and there are only a few assignments.

All of this professor's courses require a large amount of reading. If you read the material in the textbooks then you will pass with a higher grade, yet if you begin to get lazy and skip a chapter your grade will be the proof of your laziness. Overall an amazing professor that wants all of his students to pass and to learn the material.

This professor is so nice and so chill. I personally HATE history so I will never enjoy what he teaches, but I like him as a person. He doesn't care about attendance. He is also very chill about due dates just as long as you get everything in by the end of the semester. He assigned an okay amount of homework, just quizzes and term identifications.

I hate history so I don't like what he teaches but he's very chill, understanding and funny. I like how he posts the assignments the first day so I can do my work on my free time. I would take him again.

This professor is fantastic! Super flexible and easygoing. He also gives tons of resources for the sections and notes, so you learn a lot of stuff in his class which is excellent if you're interested in the subject. He allows quiz retakes and extra credit opportunities, so getting an A is very easy. Overall great professor 10/10/

Professor D'Argenio is a really nice and approachable guy. I take him for US History which is not my favorite subject or even a part of my major. Even so he has made the subject interesting enough for me to pay attention in class and even sometimes enjoyable.

Professor D'Argenio's Introduction to Western Civilization class is by far one of the easiest classes I have taken in my career as a student. He assignes all the work at the beginning of the semester and lets you work on it at your own pace. The lectures as fun and interesting.

Prof D'Argenio is very straight forward about what you need to do to pass his class. You have 8 DQs and 8 quizzes, and you have to finish them by the end of the semester. He offers extra credit and you don't get points taken off for late work.

I am taking two classes with Mr. D. This one is introduction to political science. Would definitely take him again. About the same amount of work as other classes but no stress. Work at your own pace and there is a lot of extra credit. An online class but its easy to follow, I felt like I knew exactly what I needed to do to get a good grade.

Professor D'Argenio is a very flexible professor. He gives assignments with understanding. The only way you could fail is if you don't complete the assignments, as the deadlines are extremely flexible. All lectures for my class were posted for print and assignments are well explained. Would definitely take again!

Professor D'Argenio is great. He grades fair and if you have tech issues he is very helpful (it doesn't impact your grade). Lots of lectures but he explains things well and posts notes. Gives ample opportunities for extra credit. He does not respond quickly to emails but he is upfront about that and it really doesn't become a problem.

Very good lectures, as they are all very in depth and you can really learn a lot if paying attention. Does not have many grades he puts in, and those he does put in are fairly easy to complete with ample time to do so. 10/10 professor. I wish all were like him.

I have taken Prof. D'Argenio twice, once fully online and once in person (which is this semester). I absolutely love him. He is funny, and cares about us learning the info more than a grade. On a hard day for me where I couldn't be in class, he was beyond understanding. He makes things easy to understand. An amazing teacher and great person.

In this class, all you have to do is 8 essays and 8 quizzes. I love this for the simple fact I was able to get all of my quizzes done and just focus mainly on my essays which were my problem areas. Professor D'Argenio is a great professor I feel like all professors should be like this when it comes to classes.

This is my 3rd class with Professor D'Argenio and there's a reason for it. He's great, makes classes and the schedule flexible. He is fair and gives everyone an opportunity to be set up for success.

I loved listening to his lectures about history. I had some unexpected health problems so I missed about 6 weeks of school. The last thing I was thinking about was my schoolwork. Mr. D came up with a plan moving forward. He wants nothing more than for his students to succeed in his classes. He is very down-to-earth, caring & real with his students.

Really enjoyed this class. Each mod is set up with tons of extra information, a quiz and an essay. He gives great feedback and posts really interesting reads through out the course. I would take a course with him again.

Professor D'Argenio is great. Quizzes and essays for each module, but he shares helpful info that makes it easy. He grades fairly, and also gives great feedback with each assignment. He responds to emails in a timely matter, and grades quickly. His goal is to make sure you pass. He gives out extra credit for each module too! I enjoyed this class.

Online class, every assignment was due on the last day of class, so you have the freedom to complete assignments when you can as long as everything is summitted by the last day.

Professor D'Argenio's class was an amazing introduction to political science and presented the base concepts clearly.

This professor is a pleasure to have during my summer and winter semesters. Essays and quizzes everyweek along with extra credit every week. That is the whole curriculumn too. It was filled with info and easy to excel in.

He posted all of the assignments on the first day, so everyone could do them at their own pace. Thought the lecture notes were confusing and hard to follow, should've been more organized.

His class was informative, not too difficult, and he offers lots of extra credit opportunities. He does require a paper for each module, but they aren't difficult. The quizzes are easy, and on the online course the quizzes can be taken multiple times for improved grades. The class was pretty flexible; the only deadline was the end of class date.

I'm taking his online history class. All modules are the same with a reading, essay, and exam. The essays are short and really easy. Overall a laid back, understanding professor, and very straight forward. His class is easy to understand and makes me actually enjoy learning. I recommend taking his class.

Very funny, down to earth dude. The terms work is easy to do if you take notes during class. You don't need to purchase the textbook unless you want too, there's a pdf on google. Lectures can sometimes be boring but Mr. D makes them fun. I am taking him twice this semester and if I have to take another history course I'll look for his name again.

Professor D'Argenio understands the flexibility needed for a majority of students to complete coursework successfully. Professor D' Argenio lays out the guidelines required to pass his class in very simple terms. Although Professor D'Argenio is very flexible with due dates, there are strict requirements pertaining to assignments. Always available.

This class was very straight forward, lots of reading and writing but I personally enjoyed this class and it did not make me hate history, it helped me learn because I enjoy reading. The professor seems very kind online and is not a harsh or strict professor at all. I enjoyed the flexibility of getting my work done whenever I please.

Professor Joseph D'Argenio is great! The stuff you learn in his class is interesting, and he gives you plenty of time to hand your stuff in! He provides extra credit each week, which is optional. I would take his class again.

I only had his class for a month, but he is super nice, understanding, and patient! He doesn't give too many assignments or quizzes, he gives extra credit and there is NOT a final test/project! He gives you loads of time to hand stuff in. He allowed me to ignore the due date list and let me submit everything at the end of the semester!

Professor D'Argenio gives you ample time to complete your assignments. He allows you to turn in your work at any point before the end of the semester. I actually got to read the material and soak it all in, without feeling rushed to meet a deadline. If you do the work and learn the material, there is absolutely NO reason you would do badly.

Professor D'Argenio has the most easily accessible coursework for any online class I have taken. He is knowledgeable of Blackboard which means I can spend more time on classwork rather than trying to find instructions. He also gives great feedback and really seems to care about what he teaches.

Prof. D'Argenio makes POL101 engaging. Assignments are flexible, and the material is straightforward. Quizzes can be retaken to improve grades. Unstuckstudy AI was a great study aid alongside the textbook. Overall, a rewarding intro to political science.

Professor D is probably one of the easiest professors you will ever have. Everything is completely online, including his lectures. There are 9 tests and two papers/assignments. Everything is due by the end of the semester, and attendance is not mandatory. The worst part is that his lectures are incredibly boring.

I highly recommend this professor. I took an online polisci class & each learning module consisted of reading a chapter or two, a quiz, an essay, and optional extra credit essay. Instead of giving a ton of due dates throughout the course he established one date at the end of the course that all quizzes and essays were due. HIGHLY highly recommend.

LOTS of essays. I took this over the summer, and not a single one of them were graded until after the class was over, so it was hard for me to know what to change. But it you put work into it, you'll be fine. He's an easy grader and gave me all 100's. It was just a little stressful not knowing my grade until after!
