This was a very fun class! Mr. D is an awesome teacher who knows a lot about what he's teaching. Always willing to help and very enthusiastic. Not a lot of work at all, as long as you pay attention and read. Not much reading either. Funny hippy! Definitely recommended!!!

I thought this class was great, he cares alot about the students and wants to see them do well but you must work hard in return. He jokes a lot, if you're easily offended his class is not recommended. (See condescending comment.)

Such a funny guy! Joe was able to calm down a class of freshmen and create a moment of reality while we talked about the Revolutionary War. A family man, diverse, interesting and interested, passionate about his subject, collected, humble, wise cracker. Genuinely fun and underrated. Thank you, Professor.

Great teacher! Cares very much about his students and is extremely knowledgeable. Tests are not that hard and quizzes and final are take home. I would recommend everyone to take him. He is a teacher you will stop by and see because he is so good.

The first day I wanted to drop the class. Stay! He is so intimidating at first, but he is a really good, easy teacher. He's just old and likes to show who's boss. Very easy though! Very knowledgable, a bit boring, but a good class.

He is a cool teacher and is really passionate about the subject. At first he seems strict but he is really nice and gives a lot of breaks with grading the tests. i recommend his class.

Mr. Domitrovich is a kind, well-mannered individual with a love for teaching. There are a few classes you will be bored in, but other than that you will have a great time with him. Papers are very easy to write, just make sure that you turn them in on time!

Wondorful teacher. Very caring about each individual student. I learned a lot more than history in this class. He's very knowledgeable and is very passionate about what he teaches. I now love history because of him. His tests are not bad either as long as you pay attention - which is so easy. I would take this class over and over again.

Took his class this fall and he is an amazing teacher. He might seem like a grumpy old man at first but truly is a great guy. He has 3 exams in which he gives you a study guide and also provides lecture notes which are on the exam. Honestly if you don't like him, there night be something wrong with you. Loved him and I recommend him.

Class starts off with strict attendance and he likes to front load all the work. First couple months have to stay on top. Last couple get to relax a little. Great teacher very caring wants to see everyone succeed. Loves to poke fun and teach life lessons but it plays into the class. Stays consistent thru the class. Great teacher.

Mr. Domitrovich is, far and away, the best professor I've ever had. He genuinely wants to be there, has awesome stories to tell, and wants nothing more than to give you an A (but you have to earn it!). He's very strict the first two weeks, but stick with it because he is unbelievably amazing. READ THE CHAPTERS - half the test is on the text!

Absolute gem of a man; very inspiring person. Seems grouchy and intense at the beginning, but if you hold out, he'll find his way into your heart. Intelligent, genuine, and definitely passionate about history and his students. Recommend 100%

Very caring person! He believes there is a 4.0 in every student. He gives helpful guidelines on how to stay on track and keep your grades up. Helpful tip...he LOVES chocolate. :)

Strict at first, but he turns out to be very cool. He's passionate about his job as a teacher and he wants to help his students as much as possible. Easy class, great teacher.

He may seem hard at first but he really isnt. Papers are fun and very easy. His tests are also fairly easy if you study, and his lectures are fun. His personality is GREAT a real nice and funny man!

He is AMAZING!!! He comes off as strict at first, but he truly does care about his students. He helps you every step of the way. As long as you come to class and stick with it he'll make sure you succeed.

He loves his job and you can tell. There are 4-5 essays for both his 202.& 203 classes. Take The reviews he gives for his tests seriously because over half of the test has the same Q's and A's. The critical thinking essays are important but focus on the multiple choice Q's they will be the biggest part of your grade. & bring him chocolate goodies

He teaches in person class as well and films them for online students to watch. Tests are half book and half lecture SO YOU HAVE TO WATCH LECTURES. Weekly essays that are generally two pages DS 16 font, super easy Long lectures but he throws in some funny comments. Really need to impress him to get full points usually gives 4750 as highs

Nice guy. definitely cares a lot about each student. wants every student to do well in his class. if you take good notes, you will pass the tests. grades essays well. never really gives anyone a full 100% on an essay. has a lot of life lessons and stories that he incorporates in his lectures. he lectures the WHOLE class, doesn't use visuals.

It was a pleasure being in Mr. Domitrovich's class. Not only did I genuinely enjoy learning everything CH 201 had to offer but I also had the opportunity to be taught life lessons that I can take with me for years to come. He inspired me to stay in school and always strive for the best. I worked my butt off but well worth it. Thank you Joe.

At very first days of the class most likely you'll realize that he is is crazy... it is true... but do not drop this class... It's should be easier after first week. Keep you patience to survive during the first week of the class and you'll be fine. easy A.

Took him for Wintermester, online course. Easy A. He seems like such a sweet and unique person. Tests come in two parts, make friends and get 100% on atleast one test. Only needed textbook for one assignment, so ask if anyone could send you pictures of passages. Never gave 100% on essays but gave enough for me to maintain an A.

One of the kindest teachers I've ever had he would email us on days that it snowed and made sure that we knew if it looked to dangerous don't come to school. Tests are a little difficult if you don't take good notes. He does this thing where attendance isn't mandatory but if you have perfect attendance for the semester its a bump of a grade and 1/2

Who doesn't love Mr. D? He is the nicest professor I have ever had. Complete all of your assignments on time and you will be just fine.

Those freaking exams will kill you, he is the nicest dude on the planet though. If you don't have friends in the class you can pretty much say bye bye to getting an A on the exams and maybe the class.

Best online professor i've had so far! He really gives you a good understanding of each assignment and every week he sends out such random emails which are good to receive! He is such a caring person, he cares about your grade and how you are doing. The class overall was easy, I am not a big fan of American history and to say it was easy says a lot

By far the best online professor EVER! You can tell he genuinely cares about his students success, and does his best to make the class personalized, even online. The tests are relatively easy if you do the readings and watch the lectures. The tests from the readings were word for word from the textbook.

Best professor at TMCC. Gives entertaining lectures and keeps students engaged. So inspirational and loves to teach. Highly recommend! Already signed up for his 102 class.

For having an online class, it felt as if I was taking the class in person. He really takes the effort to get to know you and I was surprised on how much more I learned than I realized

He is such an adorable old man! He puts so much effort into his video lectures. They are very interesting as he adds some pictures and songs. This is by far the best online class Ive taken and he is by far the best professor I have had. The tests have no time limit and the textbook is free online! His assignments are super easy and fun.

Very good professor, I definitely recommend. He makes jokes during the lectures to make them a bit more fun. The tests are open book and the textbook is a free online book. The tests are very important part of grade but since theyre open book, there is no reason you shouldn't pass them. Also a great guy, so that's a plus.

Sweet prof but lectures can be dreadful. If u miss class, watch vid online in mods. Lots of essays but fairly easy. Textbook exams are EASY- just literally look for the answer in the book. Lecture exam can be hard, SO TAKE NOTES. Nice man, very caring of his students. Can be boring tho. BRING HIM CHOCOLATES!!!

He was super nice, since it was online it was a pretty easy course. All test and quizzes are online and open notes. He isnt very willing to boost your grade up or give out extra credit. Overall pretty easy class

Mr. D quickly became one of my favorite professors. The class started in person but transitioned seamlessly to online in March. His wit and reverence for American history made his lectures fun and interesting. He spends the first two weeks prepping the students for the assignments which is helpful. He cares a lot about each student's success.

I took this class as an online summer class and I loved it. He was so fun and entertaining. Exams are fairly easy if you watch the lectures and do the readings. He really cares about all of his students, online or not. 10/10 take this class if you can

I took this class over the summer and I finished it 3 weeks in advance. There aren't many assignments and they're all easy to do. Lecture exams are a little more difficult than textbook exams but the class is still an easy A. He rarely gives above a 48/50 on essays unless you blow him away with your paper.

He is the best and easist professor I have ever had. I took it online over summer and it was the best decision. I finished the course in 2 weeks and he opens it up early so you can finish it before it even starts. His lectures are long but enjoyable to watch. He sends out funny emails, and they are really enjoyable. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN!!!

I LOVED my class with Mr. D! He is very compassionate about what he teaches as well as his students. He is funny, makes class fun and interesting. The textbook is a free, online textbook because he understands the poor students struggle. I wouldn't say his classes are easy, you do have to work for your grade, but the assignments are easy to follow

He is the best teacher ever. He grades average/easy. He gives you the test questions to do as you read and listen to lectures. Such a cool guy and really cares for his student and extremely helpful and supporting and will answer all your questions thoroughly. As long as you don't get behind and ask questions you'll get a good grade.

Mr. D. is an AMAZING professor and person as a whole. He makes you feel loved and appreciated, and he will constantly tell you how proud he is of you. His emails will brighten your day and you will thoroughly enjoy his class. I cannot express just how grateful I am for him, or just how ENJOYABLE this class is.

Professor Domitrovich is hands down my favorite lecturer and I took the A-Synchronous 5W2 Online. He provides an online textbook and the assignments are clear. A few short papers and grade heavy quizzes. Passionate and interesting even in pre-recorded videos.

Take this professor if you can he really does care about his students and not just if you turn in assignments. There were two "essays" that were semi easy but he gave a-lot of resources to help with a couple quizzes and 3 exams. He had a very easy class as long as you showed up to lectures and payed attention. 10 out of 10 recommend taking him.

This was the easiest online class I have ever taken! The textbook is online and free (fantastic!) and he gives you the questions to all of the midterms and finals beforehand so you can study with them and just fill out the tests when you get there. The lectures were long, but very fun to listen to. If you can take this class with him, DO IT

Sweet teacher who loves his students so much.

Super sweet guy and tests were easy as long as your read the chapter and super short essays. The book is free. I took the class online. He only required attendance the first week. He would get distracted and talked about random things during this time (talked about god a lot). Also long videos you have watch but put them on 1.5x he talks slow

Mr. D is amazing! His history class is the best one I have ever taken. Very engaging lectures, graded by few assignments, he is caring and hilarious. His eyesight problems can sometimes interfere with assignments, but if you notice an issue on an assignment just email him. He responds in about a day. I highly recommend taking him!

Mr. D is the sweetest old man and the best professor I have seen so far. The textbook is free online, he does have quite a few lectures that he makes so interesting, and his papers are easy and short. He sends emails almost daily about how well we're all doing in class and little tidbits about his life and his dogs. He cares about his students.

Literally one of my all time favorite teachers. His lectures can get a little tedious but theyre not awful. Tests are so easy and he has recorded lectures on Canvas to refer back to. Super sweet and caring, very outgoing. I love his little messages about his life. A genuine treat to be around and super funny too!

He likes to give updates about what's going on in his life and let us know what's going on.

Professor Domitrovich is my favorite professor. He cares about his students so much, and is one of the most understanding educators I have had. He also gives extra credit, and video tapes every lecture in case you miss one. Every one of his lectures are fun, engaging, and the most informative. He is extremely inspirational, funny, caring, and kind.

Amazing professor!! Textbook was free and this class was easy when I took the 5-week summer course! Professor Domitrovich always sent out super-sweet emails and was always responsive.

Professor D is the best History teacher. His lectures are a little long winded, but I really enjoyed his class. Without question I would take his classes again. He uses online resources and offers open book tests. He truly cares for his students and is so kind. I wish more professors were like Mr. D. Take his class you will not be disappointed.

Mr. D is the coolest prof i've ever had. His class is so easy, the exams are open note open book. He literally tells you how to get an A on them. one tip I would give is do the lecture exam while hes lecturing to get the answers.

Amazing professor. This was my first history class taken at TMCC and it was easy to understand. Tests were open note and book, he almost gave you the answers for some tests. Text book was free too, and overall was an amazing and informative class.

Professor Domitrovich was the best professor! His class was definitley lecture-heavy, but the lectures were entertaining and I learned a lot from them. There were 6 tests (3 for the free online textbook and 3 for the lectures) which weren't too bad. Sometimes I got a few questions incorrect wrongly, and he was very willing to fix my grade.

Great professor, most of his assignments are quizzes. He is always checking in to remind about upcoming assignments and he gives great feedback on assignments.

He is a great professor. The assignments are easy if you follow instructions and he isn't a tough grader. He checks in very frequently with the class and overall is very kind.

I was impressed by my professor in a recent class. Although I got an A-, I was happy because I worked hard for it, despite struggling with English and having four kids. I'd recommend the class to others and take it again myself.

I took this class online during the summer and there wasn't an extreme amount of work to do. There were only like 2-3 exams online and 2 papers to do. The papers were actually pretty interesting to write. I would take him again if I needed to.

Professor Domitrovich is one of the best history teacher at TMCC.He cares alot about his students and somehow gives life updates in his emails,which as instresting.I struggled with English in my first year,but his papers weren't bad.The test and quizes are open book.If you are willing to commit to his class,you can expect to get an "A "or "B".

This guy is great. He really cares. He assigns essays every now and then, they're so easy. The tests are open book and notes. And he loves to just do his lectures because he loves telling stories. He doesn't like phones but will let you have your laptop.
