He is an amazing professor who loves and respects his students. You only get a midterm and a final (not cumulative). Homeworks are online and the tests are easy. Skimming the textbook is sufficient. He's very clear with what he expects but he does talk a lot but makes you feel very comfortable to speak publicly.

He makes you feel comfortable and when he says at the beginning that you're going to make friends he's not joking. You have to teach the class but it's a breeze he encourages the use of power point. LOTS of extra credit if he thinks you won't pass with a good grade he gives you an extra credit paper, if you volunteer for things you get extra credit

You literally have to refuse to speak and never show up for class to get under a B in this class, he always gives positive feedback and never speaks negatively. One essay and it isnt difficult at all, hes always excited to teach. Enjoy the Yankees and giants and he will absolutely love you. Volunteer a lot and youll be a teachers pet.

Hes a pretty fun guy. Very laid back but participation is a must. Would take again.

I LOVE Dr. Dourigan. You can tell he really enjoys teaching and genuinely wants his students to do well. He's understanding & compassionate. He's funny and time spent in the classroom flies by because he gives amazing lectures and is really entertaining. I was nervous for the public speaking part of this class but he made it so easy. Take him!

The sweetest man ever, extremely caring and tries to help out in any way that he can. The online homeworks were a bit annoying but its a small price to pay for such an awesome professor and easy class.

Dr. D is the most caring professor. He wants you to do well and break you out of your shell. I actually looked forward to going to his Saturday morning class! I wish I could take him again!! He gives you all of the notes needed for the tests. Although, there are a lot of HW assignments- they are easy. FYI you cannot miss more than 1-2 classes.

He is hilarious and laid back but still got his point across. If you show up you'll pass, you miss 3 classes your grade goes down. He gives good reviews then he gives AMAZING REVIEWS if take his class youll see. He is very clear about his grading and gives more than enough time to get everything done. If you fail you literally just didnt try.

I LOVE him to death, genuinely the most sweet & caring professor I ever had. I took his evening class & he would give us 30 min breaks which was great. I will say if you don't study you won't pass because all his test are basically a whole bunch of definitions to remember. Homework given is a lot but we have plenty of time to finish & it's easy.

Such a genuine guy. Only have a certain amount of homeworks due on the same date late in the semester, so just plan ahead and dont procrastinate. The only class that I looked forward to. Made the class laugh a lot and always had a smile on his face.

The greatest professor of all time. Looked forward to his classes unfortunately are time was cut short due to covid. He made online easy and was straight forward easy A small amount of assignments like he says just get it done and your good.

This professor is honestly so sweet and extremely understanding. I've never had such a positive experience with ANY of my professors. I am personally a very shy person, but this professor is so easy to talk to. He clearly loves his job and students. He does call on people randomly, so just be aware of that and pay attention. Take his class!

Dr. Dourigan is a very understanding and knowledgeable professor. This is course is easy in that he is very straight forward with what the curriculum entails and it is up to you to do the work. His lectures detailed and easy to follow. It was a great pleasure being part of his class. One of the best professors I've had.

Dr. Dourigan is a very caring professor that does his best to make his students understand the material, as well as respects the time of his students. His teaching method is very interactive with every person in the class participating, creating a very comfortable environment to allow for every kind of student to get involved. He is a good person.

This class was super easy. It's only an hour long and most of the time he'll let you leave early. His grading is super simple and you'll always know what you get on what you do. Homework is pretty easy you just have to read and overall if you have a good class you'll have a fun time

In all honesty, he's a great teacher. He lets you know exactly what you need to know from the start to the finish of the semester, regarding assignments, exams (not exam-heavy), homework (very little), and in-class assignments. He is straightforward when lecturing so you're not confused and if you are, he'll make sure you understand. REPEATS A LOT!

The professor makes sure that everyone is participating. He explains everything very well in the lecture and actually reads his emails and gets back to you if you have any issues. This is definitely a professor I would highly recommend if you need a in person class. As long as you do your part and do every assignment you should get an A

He makes sure that everyone understands what will be happening in class time during the week. Continuously notifies when homework assignments are due and when group work will happen. Overall goes out of his way to ask how you are doing. I find all of these to be amazing characteristics for a professor to have.

Dr. D. is super cool - always positive, and cares much more about our comprehension of the material than rigorous testing, homework and papers. There ARE homework assignments, there IS a paper and a midterm, but Dr. D. takes extra special care to ensure we're more than prepared for each. I'd take this class again if I could!

We do fun little small group presentations for extra credit. His syllabus is very straightforward and very easy to succeed in the class. Very easy going professor, straightforward , and funny!

He is a super chill professor. You definitely have to do your work but you have a lot of time to do it. He understands if you have to miss class for something and how life gets in the way. He will always tell you every week when something is coming up and its due. Gives good reviews for midterm and final.
