Awesome Professor!!! I recommend anyone taking this course to take Professor Frusci. His powerpoints are awesome and he is extremely knowledgeable in American History. Makes the class fun and enjoys political discussion, as they relate to what we are learning.

Great professor! Loves talking about the federal budget and the history of deficits and surpluses. He uses a lot of budget sources to show data. Gives you an unbiased view and uses historical topics from the class to try and interpret current situations when we discuss current events in the beginning of the class.

Nicest professor on campus. He loves talking about the economic history of the United States and how it pertains to our lives today. He is also a huge American Revolution buff and really knows his stuff. I might want to be a history major because of him.

Probably the coolest, most laid back teacher I have ever had. Little to no work, and he let's us out early every time. My class on Monday was 17 minutes long. Just do the few assignments he gives, pay attention and have good attendence. Easy A. Definitely take this class.

Awesome guy! I enjoyed the reacting to the past games, which he made really fun. I didn't like that I had a speaking role for every game, but Frusci is really cool. When we finished these games early, he would let us leave. On the days there are no games, he makes you stay to the very end.

Took Frusci this past semester and he was an awesome teacher. We did not have to buy textbooks. All we did was discussion boards almost every week, 2 essays and these 2 back to the past games. As long as you do that he will easily give you an A just for being there and doing the work. Very chill guy. Highly recommend.

I had him fall semester and he made me love history he is really funny and talks about what's going on in todays history as well explaining why it's important to know our history of this amazing country. Great teacher will go over things if you don't understand and will give extra credit. His tests are fair as well.

Amazing professor! It is not just a straight history class. He goes over a different area of American History each week, then teaches you how to design lesson plans around the topic and teach history to students. He also puts you into groups and has you create lesson plans each week. Haven't come close to that in my education classes yet.

Professor Frusci was awesome to have for a Saturday class! He's easy going yet,very knowledgeable, and you learn so much! Expect group project... It wasn't hard.

Professor Frusci is the funniest and most chill professor you will ever have. A few homeworks and two papers. You can use anything you want on the final. No need to buy the textbook because you don't look at it once. 10/10 recommend!! You don't have to listen to his lectures or copy his notes but if you do, you will learn!! 10/10 recommend.

Core 100 was a very interesting course overall. Professor Frusci was very knowledgeable overall, and added a lot of humor to his lectures. My advice would be to participate, do all of the discussions on blackboard, and do your two papers. Guaranteed you will get an A. However, the assigned textbook was not needed at all, save your money!

He said if I went up for the last lecture to speak in front of the auditorium that I'd get an A. I didn't even have to take the final hahahaha or do the last paper

Seriously tho: lectures are interesting, ties humor & current events w/ history, managed to teach entire curriculum while spending >20% of classes practically doing stand-up. EXTREMELY lenient grader. I actually looked forward to going to class every week b/c of him.

Very interesting class. The first few minutes of the class he takes to tell a funny story, which keeps our attention. Then uses it to go right into the lesson. Interesting strategy for teaching. Looking forward to using that in my own classroom. Knows his topics well.

Great economic historian. Does an amazing compare and contrast lecture on the Great Depression and Great Recession. I want to do more economic history because of his class.

He is great. The class was supposed to be three hours long and he always had us out within the hour. Assigns readings but you don't really need to read. Gives a weekly discussion board, no tests and two 5 page papers that are super easy.

His class is fun and engaging. A lot of group work and projects. Be ready to read and learn how to teach history.

He is one of the best professors Ive had so far and also the easiest class Ive taken so far. All I really had to do was show up. There wasnt much work to do and whatever he did assign was easy and he always gave us the option to do it in class and hand it in that day.

For HST 260, you will do an assignment every week. But it is so easy and good exercise. One 5 page essay for midterm and a take-home final. If you need your help with classwork he will help you and he will also help you get a job. What kind of professor does that! Be very respectful and he will show you respect. He gives donuts to his class.

Dr Frusci is by far the best professor i've ever had. He doesn't just sit there and lecture, he makes his class time a discussion, for everyone to bounce ideas off eachother and really discuss whatever reading was assigned. He also gives very interesting annecdotes and assignments are light.

I had my first HST 200 class with professor frusci. It was a really good class that get everyone to discuss what history is and the different approaches to it. He used various examples from the American revolution to world war 2. Definitely looking forward to the rest of the semester in this class

He is a very laid-back professor that enjoys conversation with students in class. He makes the class interesting and engaging, but do not get caught cheating. He just caught a few students in my class cheating on their midterm. Because of them, the entire final is now being changed and those students might be expelled.

The class was so easy, really nice guy. Will say I did find him a bit immature but other than that he was great. It is an easy class but you also learn a lot, do your weekly reading and you'll have no problem.

Super chill guy that likes to have discussions with the students on how current events reflect historical ones. He will tell you everything you need to know on how to become a teacher in the DOE and will help you get licensed to teach. You can tell he's been teaching for awhile because he has that corny sense of humor that all teachers have.

He made the classroom a safe space for discussions that are hard to have in the general public. He is very respectful of students from different ethnic and religious backgrounds. If you enjoy history but want to learn more about American history, please take him.

Professor Frusci was amazing. He cares deeply for his students and truly wants to see them succeed. He made history fun. The midterm and final are on black board with lots of time. There are a few discussion posts throughout the semester that relate to the topics of the week. Would take him again if I needed another history course.

Frusci was a really cool and awesome history professor. He was always accessible on campus during his office hours. This was not the case for many other history professors i've taken over the last couple of years and I am a history major. Defintely take him if you want to teach history. he will show you how to become a good history teacher.

I never knew how interesting the 1950s were and how crucial they were for pop culture, civil rights, and foreign policy. He shows some really cool clips of civil rights activists and popular performers of that time to help walk us through an important decade for America. This class was pretty cool

No other professor walked me through the process of becoming a social studies teacher the way he did. Most of my professors were very hard to meet during office hours, but he was so easy to meet and sit with to get information.

He is so hilarious! He cares for his students and likes to hear his students comments and concerns. There is no way you could fail his class unless your really lazy. Highly recommend!

Gave 2 or 3 Discussion posts, you don't have to respond to peers. 2 papers, 1 midterm and 1 final Paper, both a couple pages based on proposed list of history topics to select from. Midterm and final test are both done online, don't worry just multiple choice questions! Let's you out extremely early, 3 hour class was only 1 hour class! Take him!

VERY easy professor. Only a couple of papers (1/2 was because some girl asked for annother paper??) that were very very easy. A few discussion boards but nothing too crazy. Canceled class a bunch and was overall a great professor, very chill. Take him.

If you want to be a teacher you need to take him. He devotes the last class or two of the semester going over how to become a teacher in the doe. My advisor has no idea what I need to do, but Frusci will walk you through it step by step.
