Great teacher, hope to see him teaching more classes. He really lovess to get the class involved. The class had alot of work to do but he made it all fun and well worth it.

This guy is the best English teacher i've ever had. He incorporates so much into his lessons via music, painting, readings, history, etc, that you cannot walk out of that class without learning something. He is very merciful on the students and made me look foward to his classes.

A real great guy who loves when you get involved in the discussions. AS much as i hate to say it, he is somewhat of a pushover and you can use this to your advantage if you're flustered from the overload of your other classes.Really taught me how to interpret art and literature which I feel is a priceless quality.

The honors English Comp was my favorite class this semester. I usually hate English Professors, and I have to say that he was amazing. The workload was moderate, he helps you with your papers throughout the whole semester, and he's always there if there's a problem. And excellent professor to have if you're struggling with writing.

proff gatti was awesome he made writing fun even though it may feel arbitrary at times...he helped me fine tune my gramar even though its not apparent here but anyway he was helpfull the assignments are interesting and it helps you gain a perspective of yourself that you might not have known before...overall i owe a huge thanks to him !!!

By far one of the best professors I've ever had. He basically gives you the freedom to analyze literature at your own pace. Most of the works covered are interesting and thought provoking. He also gives excellent criticism that is usually very positive. Be at ease in signing up for any class this guy teaches.

A lot of reading from "hand-outs" (he asked us to print them all out ourselves) and plenty of writing, but the content is usually fairly simple. If you don't get something just say so, he's more than willing to help. Very easy grading, just do you assignments and it's an easy A! Exams weren't bad at all either (maybe 16 questions give or take).

Such a grea funny guy. His notes are all on powerpoint definetly makes the class interesting. As long as you do your work you will get an A. Its just a matter of consistantly doing the weekly assignments. He uses media to get another persepctive on literature. Loved his style of teaching, taking him again :)

hes the best professor i had no real tests midterm and final take home. you dont need a text book just read the hand outs that you have to print out and you will do fine, you will have a quiz on the hand outs most classes but just a quick write on the handout.. great teacher i would take him again any day!!

Greatest English professor ever. Love how he uses technology to make it easy for students. Easy A if you are willing work for it. Gives lot's of assignments, but he's a fair grader. No book to buy. All assignments are posted on his website. Enjoyed all his classes.

I found his class to be very engaging and interactive which for me is a big plus. He managed to make the class interesting and fun. I took his class over the summer and as such had the class almost everyday. This was not a problem as I looked forward to the class. I would highly recommend this professor.

GATTI! He is a great Professor, I love the way he teaches every class with a powerpoint type of presentation. I also liked how we didn't have to pay for a text book we just print the notes and handouts from his website. Another great thing is that hes not strict about attendence and handing in work on time. I completely recomend him!

Professor Gatti makes what would be a boring english class, interesting. All his lectures are given off slides that are very clear and helpful. You will have a lot of papers, but he grades very fairly and really helps you out. He makes you want to be part of the discussions. He is overall a great laid back guy.

I can't say a single negative thing about Prof. Gatti. He is a very funny and helpful professor who will encourage you through every step of the class. Assignments are frequent but most are just 1-2 page long reflections on the class material. If you want a great professor, look no further. 1010, would take again.

Prof. Gatti is a very easy, clear professor. He gives a lot of homework, but it's fairly simple. Expect a good grade. I would take this class again. He makes reading fun. Textbook is free and online.

Prof Gatti is an absolute sweetheart! Took him two semesters in a row, got an A both semesters. He gives a reading response almost every night but its hard not to get a 100. He takes attendance but I can't remember how many classes I actually went to. Just do the work, you'll get an A. Textbook is posted online on his website so you don't buy it.

Wonderful professor. Understands what it's like to be a college student and is very lenient when it comes to due dates... Take home final and midterm. Gives you the textbook on his website and the material in class will definitely keep you interested. Never got lower than a 9/10 on any assignment. If his classes are available, register!!

Professor Gatti is by far the best Professor I've ever had . I took his summer class for Eng102 and honestly he made the class so much easier. He cared about your grade and Vives you Good feedback and really Wants to help you eat your A. Do all the work and put effort in and you'll get an A. Get ready to read though.

Professor Gatti is a great choice for Lit classes. He has very interesting discussions on the work in every lecture. There is a lot of reading to do, and a great deal of work, but Professor Gatti isn't a stickler for due dates, and as long as you hand in all your work and show you're doing your best you'll do well. A fun teacher with great classes.

Professor Gatti is a wonderful Professor. His class consisted of reading responses, one midterm, one term paper, one final, and two major essays. He is a very lenient professor so you don't have to worry about due dates, just as long as you hand them in. You'll also have to do a group presentation

He gives homework due for each class, but he's very lenient if you're not able to get it in on time a couple of times but not everytime. He's really funny, caring and super helpful. Not a tough grader, barely any tests and he's just a cool dude to get to know too. I highly recommend him if you want an easy-going english class. He's amazing.

One of a kind! I would definitely take his class again. Be prepared to read a lot, and do a couple short papers a week. Other than that, his class is a breeze.

Great professor! Wasn't boring, as it says it there I passed with an A. The assignments were easy. most of the work was on Blackboard, which was ok.

HIGHLY recommend him. you have to write a short analysis of a poem as hw and leave a comment on blackboard about 1 of the poems that were assigned for hw. gives lots of homework passes. EASY CLASS as long as you do the hw. Take home midterm and take home final are very easy, as long as you do the hws. very nice guy. LENIANT deadlines for hw.

he's such a sweet heart and his class is a lot of fun too... he makes it personal and is passionate about what he does. I highly recommend this professor.. I've taken him once a few sems ago and i graduated a few weeks ago but i'm just coming back to tell new students to take him as many times as you can - easy A and super fun!

Gatti was excellent in ENG 219! In college you have to attend class. In English you read and write papers. I can't relate to anyone participating in higher education who takes issue with those realities. Any student who has a problem with Gatti is a problem themselves. Excellent professor, you'd be lucky to find better.

Prof. Gatti provides all the work the very first day. He tells you what is expected and while the syllabus may look intimidating the work is not hard. Most understanding and forgiving professor I've ever dealt with. If he taught more courses I would be in every one. Lenient, fair, and funny.

Prof. Gatti was the best professor i had all semester by far. Gives all the work the first day of class with the due dates. Hes an easy grader, answers emails relatively fast. Hes very understanding, and even with the whole online switch halfway through the semester he was there to help you in the transition. I would totally take him again.

Prof. Gatti is one of the nicest professors I've taken. Very thoughtful with the readings and assignments he gave us weekly. Mainly just discussion posts and writing assignments that weren't difficult and actually fun to do. Multiple hw passes that you can earn throughout.

I love him. I kind of wish he was my father. Truly one of the best classes I have ever taken. Extremely kind, funny, understanding, and beyond that he's a really good teacher. The class was not the easiest I've taken, but I didn't even mind doing most of the work because it's largely opinion-based and on interesting topics.

I had this professor for ENG 102 & 219, he is awesome. super lenient and a very nice guy. i wish he could be my teacher for every class. the work is easy and he's not super strict on attendance. the lectures are interesting too. every classmate I've worked with on group projects has liked him as well.

Prof. Gatti is definitely one of the most lenient professors I've had. He does not care about due dates as long as you eventually submit the work before the end of the semester. His homeworks, midterm, and final are all very easy. There is also one group presentation which was not difficult at all, it just depends if you get a good group or not.

Honestly, he is very lenient with late work his work is very easy since its just discussion boards, one page paper sometimes and graded exercises(doesnt have to a page long like two or one paragraphs) oh also we had to do one group project which is presention he's very understanding and caring (just take his class It's an easy A)

He is a great professor. He was always understanding. His lectures were a little confusing and he gives a lot of assignments that will pile up easily if you don't stay on top of them. As long as you stay on top of them, you will be fine!!! His care shows through his grading, i really appreciated his feedback. if you can take his class, do it!!!!
