i read the book,went to class and cheated when i was all else failed and i still have NO idea what microeconmics even is!!

By far the most boring teacher i have ever had in my life!!! It will take him 45 minutes just to explain one step in an assignment. Trust me on this one and stay away. and i won't even get started on how retarded his tests are.

DO NOT TAKE THIS GUY!! He cannot teach for the life of him. Boring as hell and rambles on and on about things no one in the world could understand. Ridiculous quizzes and exams that seem designed to make you fail. Every class, everyone just sat at their desks and went online on their laptops.

this guy is ridiculous. teaches nothing and gives you impossible quizzes and exams. i did not learn on damn thing the whole semester. just stay away.

if im lucky enough to have ilacqua as a first semester freshman, than im ecstatic about would could possibly be in store for my next three years. you can count on teaching yourself everything, and the only notes you have will be drool spots. what a normal person could say in 5 minutes takes him an hour. stops taking attendance after a week.

for the love of god STAY AWAY from this terrible excuse for a teacher. You will learn absolutly nothing from his random monotoned lectures. It takes him easily an hour to say what should take 5 minutes and you just want to stab yourself with your pencil when your forced to sit through that torture. anyone concitering to take him anyone is better

when you go to his class, it's like you've slipped into the 7th circle of hell. quizzes and exams are impossible to pass. takes him a half hour to say what could be said in 2 minutes. it's just not worth it.

He is the worst man that I have meet in my life and he should never be allowed to teach. He gives you papers on random stuff and is a hard grader. You will fail every quiz and test you ever have and wont curve. NEVER EVER take this man u will want to kill youself.

If you have him for a day class i can not feel sorry for you b/c Academic Advising put me in his night class. If you have him for a night class, i feel your pain.

likes to pick up the lecturn and and toss it to "prove a point" not the most pleasant noise at 9:30 am. lectures make no sense, messy handwriting, monotone/boring voice. doesnt care who you are or how badly you are doing in his class. you might as well just stop going to class because youre most liekly going to fail no matter how hard you try

I got a B in this class and i still have no idea what i lerned... alot of papers, that are pointless and if you just copy and paste from websites you will do alright... i would suggest another professor... he is extremely boring and its painful to sit in class...

Please for your own health and stress level dont take him...lets just say the last half of the semester is a 3 page paper each week plus one quiz, the essays lead up to a freaking 15 pger...on economics, GAY hes useless aswell

This class is worst clas you can possible take. He talks about nothing for an hour and fifteen minutes and his quizes and tests are impossible! you can use you laptop so you can get other work done but his class lasts forever! he always goes a couple minutes over and gets mad if you leave. THIS IS THE WORST CLASS...DONT TAKE!!!

Never take him! he is an unfair ass! i didn't miss a single class, and at the end to the semester I had 368.5 out of 410 points, or an 89.87%, and he gave me a B+ just to spite me. If I could say more fowl things I would. if u do take him, do me a favor and make his life a living hell. Thanks! and good luck. (you're gonna need it in his class)

What professor gives a **$&*$$ 20 page paper in a freshman eco class...if the eocnomies in a recession otherwise he still suxxxx but if u know eco and can teach urself form the book take him cuz his questions are str8 from practice quizes

saw the awful comments on here, said wut the heck he cant be that bad and took him....WORST CLASS OF MY LIFE....does nothing but talk about his personal experiences, no grading structure (you will never know your standing), SO BORING, you WILL want to kill yourself!!!!!!

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS if you want a decent gpa. I spent over 5 hrs per week and got a C- so I withdrew. I even was in ace for about 3 hrs per week. He is so boring and a jerk as well.

I think he was the worst teacher I ever had at the school. His comments that he made were so crude and tasteless that I wanted to punch him in the face. When he said that mentally disabled people should be killed off to benefit the economy people challenged him. I am glad I wasn't the only one to challenge that. It was a bit ridiculous. Don't take!

Terrible. He digresses about irrelevant topics, loses your work and tells you that it's your problem, impossibly words questions on tests and quizzes, and does not have it all together mentally. Save yourself some trouble and switch out of his class ASAP.

Boring class. You need to use the book a lot to understand the concepts. He rambles on and makes class boring. Try to switch-out if you can, but try to study the Dyknow slides when all else fails. 2 exams = 50%, 25% quiz avg.,25% essays and HW. Doesn't count your participation or connect

Worst teacher I have ever had in my whole life. If you actually want to learn something and engage in a relationship with your professor, get out now and find someone else.

Not gonna lie, he is probably one of the worst teachers I've ever had...you can never stay on track with him and he jumps around. He's one of the most confusing people I know. If you can take another class that isn't with him, take it. The only good thing about him is that he doesn't fail anyone. The worst grade I've seen for him is a D.

Do not take this class, especially if it is a night class. He is an awful teacher and is extremely unclear. All he does is read off of slides and then quizzes you on things in the book that he never went over.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. He says he will post practice quizzes before a quiz and he posts them hours before. The quizzes are nothing of what he explains in class. He told my class that in the past, the average quiz grade is a 50. Do not take this teacher

Seems like a nice guy, but he just can't teach. He is super confusing and tests often include things never discussed in class. Keep your book by your side, you'll need it. Attendance isn't mandatory, but you should go. The concepts aren't that hard at all, it's just the way he presents them. He says he posts things, but doesn't. E-mail is useless

My god where to begin with this old troll. Literally would rather clean bathrooms in the freshman halls then sit through his long boring class. Tests are as hard as a 7th grader looking at a playboy magazine, and class is overall painful

I happened to be surfing the Internet for some other information and came across Ilacqua's Rate My Professor scores. I had him in 1983 for ECO 101. First I cannot believe he is still teaching. Second, and sadly, nothing has changed. One of the worst professors ever! It is amazing that such a prestigious university has allowed for this long.

Terrible, Just Terrible, I cant stress how bad of a teacher this man is. He Talks slow and unclear.

I am currently sitting in this class and cannot express my frustration. He is a professor who quizzes you most of the time without giving you the information. You take the quizzes dry and be prepared to fail this class. I wish tenure didn't exist in this case. Drop this class fast, he doesn't seem to care much, I wish he did.

His classes are boring and he doesn't really explain the content. His delivery and tone in his lectures are like a boring story that you feel bad not paying attention to so you listen and nod your head. He continues to compare complex macroeconomic principles to desks, apples and mufflers that makes everyone in the class feel lost.

Would recommend anyone to take another economics professor. Overall, I had a negative experience taking the class with this instructor, pretty much had to learn the material on my own and from other students who major in economics.
