All that needed to be said about Dr Khoury has already been said, so I'll just say this: in a time where many profs couldn't care less about students, it feels really good to see a prof that genuinely cares for his students and desperately wants them to succeed. By far the best professor I have had or will have. Assignments are long, but make you learn everything and follow his notes exactly. Probably one of the best profs at uOttawa, knows his stuff, entertaining. Cares about students and is VERY patient (people chatting). Attend class to take notes they are needed for assignments. Do the assignments and practice exams and you will get an A. Actual exams are easier than practice ones. Practice exams/notes reflect what is on the exams.

He's one of the best profs in math department. Clear lecture, exam closely related to what he taught in class. Do your best to follow his notes, and do all the assignments/practice exams. Straight A is waiting for you.

He is a WONDERFUL prof! One of the best maths teacher that I never had in my life. The course is not easy, but it's not his fault. You just have to do all you exercises and you'll be fine. He is there for his students and he also has a very good sense of humour, he is always doing references to Céline Dion or saying epic sentences.

There are a few assignments to do, but they are very easy if you go to class. Plus, he's really funny, which makes the class fun!

Excellent prof. His expectations of you for midterms, finals, etc. are very clear, as he provides good practice exams. Will go out of his way to help you understand a certain concept. He makes class material interesting to learn, even if it's not your favourite subject.

Just show up to class and listen. Mr. Khoury doesn't even use written notes, he has everything in his mind. Creates examples on the spot to stimulate more interest. Gives fair and well thought tests. Prepares you very well for final. If you can, I definitely encourage you to take a class with him

Dr. Khoury is a fantastic professor. Took him for ODE and he always came well prepared to class. Subjects covered in the course were well represented in the assessments with no curve-balls whatsoever. He is very approachable and I guarantee he will make you laugh while you learn.

Great prof, always happy and ready to teach. He really keeps your attention throughout every class, even if some of the material gets a bit boring. Not a tough grader, very clear in what he wants on his tests. However, don't underestimate him, you do have to put in a fair amount of hours of practice if you want an A+.

I took many courses with this prof and every time he manages to amaze me. This course was amazing: History of Mathematics. Not only he has wide knowledge in many areas of Mathematics, he is surely very knowledgeable in History and politics. This man can teach anything you throw at him. perfect professor, you can't get less than an A+ in anything he teaches unless you're just unwilling to do anything.

This is the only prof that I have had that gives detailed examples of the course content. He is literally the textbook(a simplified one) Don't skip classes. Homework can be a lot but it's perfect practice for midterm and finals(guaranteed). Would have gotten an A+ but I am fund of tiny mistakes and laziness. I highly recommend him.

Explains concepts very clearly, with plenty of examples. Study off of the class notes, and you will get a good mark. A little intimidating, and has a tendency to make fun of you if you give a wrong answer in class. Don't be scared off by the assignments (can be very long) - the exam consists almost exclusively of simple questions.

One of the best profs I've had! This professor wants all his students to succeed without a doubt. The midterms are very easy because he gives us some past midterms to practice with and he structures his midterms the same way every year, so you know exactly what to expect going into midterms. As long as you work, you'll be more than fine.

Loved Professor Khoury. He was great all around. Wanted the best for his students and did everything he could to help them. Even though the class was asynchronous, he would frequently schedule zoom meetings to answer questions and go over the essentials. Tests are really easy compared to hw which is pretty tough to ensure comprehension.

Wouldnt mind doing getting a Math degree if he was teaching all courses.

Even though, doing an exam with cameras open on Zoom is quite stressing and unnecessary plus requires long answers for each question, the course is hard but straightforward (don't need to buy the textbook)

During online class he literally posts written lecture, video lecture, and solutions to exercises on top of doing a live video lecture. Ive had this prof for two pretty hard math courses and performed really good on both. The notes are really clear and simple to understand. He really listens to the students and adjust the course accordingly. Without a doubt hes the best prof Ive had so far

He is good. 2384 needs to do a lot parctice. You know how to do every question, but you wont have enought time to finish it, one question may need to write 3-4 pages. There are 8-10 questions on the final. So practice 100%. You must treat every question as 1+12, write answer without thinking; otherwise, you wont finish the exam.

One of the best profs that I have had to date! If he taught all math courses Id switch into a math major. During the online classes he provides you with lectures notes, videos, and does live lectures during the week doing a bunch of practice problems. For the midterms and finals if you just go over the practice tests he gives youll do great!

He really is a great prof who lives up to his reputation. You can tell he cares a lot about his students' success. He gives you everything you need, it's up to you to use it. Accommodating for online. If you put in the work, it's easy to get a good grade. Just make sure that you only use techniques he taught in class on exams, he stresses this.

This professor is probably one of the best professors I've had at this school. He was super accomidating and offered live lectures as well as summary lectures. His examples done in class make the material very easy to understand. As long as you follow along on class examples and do the practice midtems and problems, its an easy class. GOAT.

Class was asynchronous but he still posted videos for every chapter. Not sure what it is that makes it so easy to understand him. You would have to take a class with him to really understand what I am saying. I you ever see his name as the Instructor for a class, take it.

This course with this prof was a breeze. The pre-recorded lectures were all I needed to do well. I didn't attend the live sessions. Very straight forward course. The homework questions will prepare you to do well so make sure you practice them. The final was easier than I anticipated.

I can't recommend this prof enough. He's extremely straightforward and in tests will give you concepts exactly as they're covered in class--he just wants students to do well and understand. Charismatic and gets the students engaging, even online when it was just a class of barely 10 people lol

It was an asynchronous course that he made synchronous. He went out of his way to make two zoom calls a week that explained every part of the notes question by question. Midterms and the final were all straightforward. By the end I didn't even read the notes I just attended the zoom calls and that was enough to get me an A+. 10/10.

The Prof did a great job teaching this course. The way this course is organized is excellent. Each lesson/subject is broken down in a very regimented format with definition, theorems first, examples next followed by exercises. Additionally, I really appreciate the tough love approach the Prof took and called out students who were being lazy.

I took this professor online and i am almost finished the course. I think apart of why this class was so easy is that its online but the other thing is that prof khoury is an excellent teacher and goes over TONS of examples.

Retook my class with Khoury because I didn't do well the first time and I can assure you it wasn't his fault. Both midterms and the final exam were super fair and there were no suprises. There was no need to look for supplemental material because he explained everything in the simplest way possible. Loved having him this semester!

I took this class asynchronously and it was very well organized. At first, I tried doing all the homework, but it took way too much time. In the end, I was able to get an A+ by focusing on the PDFs of lessons and examples as well as the practice exams + recorded Zoom tutorials. Highly recommend for people who like self-learning.

Best prof you'll ever have. Go to his lectures, take notes and do the suggested exercises. He tells you exactly what topics will be on the exams.

He is the man when it comes to explaining Mathematics. Cristal clear lectures, many example, very approachable, kind and funny

Go to the Lectures in person, he is great at teaching and everything makes sense. Apart from a very disorganized brigthspace, everything in this class was great. The midterms and Final were very similar to problems seen in class(he dosen't make the evaluations harder then what is seen in class)

This man really knows his stuff and really cares about his students. I would take any of the classes he teaches in the future.

I mean you cannot get better than professor Khoury to teach you any math subject. Very clear, caring, humble and funny
