Dr. K is a great professor who truly care about the curriculum as well as the students. Takes a very proactive style to teaching while providing the class with great distractions that don't detract from the message.

Most 100 level courses are very dry, and I expected a very boring skim through of vocabulary and text. I found this class to be something to look forward to every week. Dr. K has an impressive resume, and he used his experiences in his field to make this a wonderful class. Very easy course if you attend regularly. This course changed my life.

Lectures are purely supplemental to the chapter readings. You must read the book to pass the class; just attending lecture won't get you to pass.

Favorite professor that I have had throughout my 2 years at Ivy Tech. Dr. Kowalow always made the content he was putting out very interesting and easy to understand. There were plenty of interesting discussions throughout the semester which made class very entertaining. Occasionally brings food too so that's a plus! Don't skip and you'll do well.

A good portion of the questions on test are not in the textbook, but he will tell you what you need to know, but he can only tell you if you show up to class.

Doc is an amazing guy and really knowes his stuff. But he does not have any resources for you besides notes, no slides, and he goes FAST. If you cant get down everything he says & writes at the same time, bring a recorder/use phone to record the lecture and re'write notes at home.

Seriously show up to class and take your notes, and you will pass. He goes in to detail about everything. If you have questions he will answer them in full and keep going until you understand! Also hes super funny and keeps class fun and interesting! Id take this class a few more times if I could!

I'm appreciative of the knowledge he shares with us! He's quick to respond to questions through messages and ensures to take the time to walk through any confusion we may have. I have never had a professor that's as encouraging yet constructive as he is.

Dr. Kowalow is very knowledgeable and passionate about psychology. It's online only so a bit different than a traditional class, but its still engaging which makes the class enjoyable. The grading is also fair.
