Leopold is one of the best teachers on campus. He knows how to give a great lecture.

Great Teacher!!

Very energetic and funny. I heard nothing but good things about this guy. Then I met him and I see why. He teaches American GOv't amongst other things so if you have the choice take Leopold.

This guy is the man! He makes government interesting and he is so enthusiastic. He is like a student teaching students but he knows what he's talkin about. He cracks jokes a lot too to keep ya interested.

Great professor! He will play devil's advocate just to make students defend their position. He is very easy on the eyes too!

Lively class discussions. Allows students to form their own opinions, he will take both sides and defend them wholy just to see students participate. Read text to get the A.

Really liked to look at him as well as listen to his lectures. Has a great sence of humor, and for the first time, I learned something about our government!

Very entertaining. Makes lots of jokes about politics, beer, and his wife. Great at getting you to explain your point of view. Tests are very hard. Be prepared to study. I did and its the only C ive gotten in college.

Awesome teacher! Anyone who can make American Government interesting has natural talent. He's great to listen to and look at-he's got it all! I'd highly recommend any class that he is teaching.

Leopold is great professor. Highly intelligent, articulate and charismatic. It seems like some have difficulty with the tests, but if you read the text and pay attention in class you will do well.

This is one of St Pete's best in my opinion. Is extremely approachable and fair. Tells you what is expected and makes learning American Gov fun which I do not think is easy! Absolutely loved his class!

This was my first Telecourse and it was a good experience. Great teacher well lined out class, tests were multiple choice with a few essay answers. If you read the book and study for the tests you should not have a problem.

Took his telecourse. It was pretty simple, he gives you a pretty thorough study guide for the midterm and final so though some people seem to have problems with his tests, if you read the chapters and study they are not dificult.

Leopold is probably one of the best teachers i have ever had, hes definitely hands down the best college professor i have had. his tests are tough but he makes sure you know the material...when i failed govt and had to retake it, he actually made me glad i was taking it again and it was a summer class!!

Leopold is a GREAT instructor. I see SO many people put on here that he is easy, but he is NOt! He just makes the classes so interesting that people actually LISTEN! If you pay attention its hard not to do well, this man Loves what he does and is VERY good at making an impression with the subject matter. Good Guy!

This was the first class I took at SPC. He made it fun and made me feel completely at ease.I loved how passionate he was about what he was teaching. I learned alot.

LOVED HIM! this class was awesome. he kept it fun and interesting, He really cares about his students. Allows discussions, debates and allows you to learn and have fun at the same time. Definately one of SPC's BEST instructors. He could easily make a wall seem interesting...He makes the class fun and does what he can to help you succeed. Obviously it doesn't hurt that he is adorable...but lets not give him a big head, because you know he reads these... =-P

Good teacher. His only downfall was that he was slow to grade/respond to our online class. I felt like it would have been much different if we were in class. He treated us a little like red-headed step children at times. Good material though, and great assignments. I really did learn a lot from the class.

Leopold is a wonderful Professor.. he takes an interest in his students and teaches government in a manner which is enjoyable. Did I mention that hes HOT!?? Ladies.. hes a joy to look at!

Cool class. Makes the class very interesting. Took the online version. Makes you write a 250 essay every week on a specified issue and that is the class. Combine this with a midterm and a final, thats your grade. Expect to do a little work but it is not hard. Slant your papers to the left and you will get an A.

Great Professor! Keeps the topics short, interesting, and to the point. I hate Government and I got an A. Just show up on time and read the book. This guy also has some great jokes. He really makes learning the material fun! I definately recommend taking him!

Awesome teacher! What a gem to have a guy like him teaching in SPC! I feel like he could easily be teacing in top schools. You have to read the book though if you want to get a good grade in this class. But the lectures are informative, passionate and beautifully presented! Class was easy. Mr. Leopold is passionate about the subject. He's active in politics outside of class and has opinions about a lot of things related. I had trouble sitting through his class though because I disagreed with a lot of his opinions (which were not open for discussion... - which was very frustrating).

Tougher than a peelie trapped on roundabout in York! But you dig it the most!

Took Mr. Leopold's Gov class online. Did not need the textbook that often. The work was not difficult, but it was continuous. As long as you stay on top of your discussion questions you should not have a problem. Mr. Leopold was also very helpful when I had a problem on my computer while taking the midterm.

Smart, funny, easy going, sarcastic, takes his time for grades but understandable since He is encharged of the Science department. Read the book and expect tests with worded questions.

His enthusiasm for the subject keeps things interesting. He has a great sense of humor, and you can tell he genuinely wants to help the students learn. He can be a bit slow in updating the grades online. Overall a great class. I'd take him again.

I've really enjoyed Mr. Leopold's classes...He keeps it interesting and has a great sense of humor. His assignments are easy to understand and the test and quizzes he gives are not hard at all. He ventures off during lectures but it keeps the class entertaining. He knows his stuff and makes it easy to understand. Mr. Leopold gets an "A" from me

GREAT Professor! He?s a gregarious and humorous guy who makes class fun. He gave good, interesting, helpful lectures. It was also an EASY A. All tests and quizzes (except the final) were taken online and all are multi-choice and easy. You should literally get %100 on all of them. The final was taken in class, but was still multi-choice and easy.

Excellent teacher if you read the book! If you miss a lot of classes, you will have a tough time, because some questions on test are straight from his lectures. Very humorous and clearly loves the subject. All quizes and tests are multiple choice, online and open book, open notes! I'd take him again!

This professor is good and I recommend him if you need to take this course. You really need to READ the textbook and pay attention to his reviews because everything on the review is on his exams. A few of his questions are a little tricky, but if you read the book you'll be ok. You have to do some writing, but its not too bad.

This prof. was as joy to work with! He was exceptionally understanding and flexible.

The study guides are very helpful for exams. I felt the material which was presented from the text was very prevelent.

Am Gov't/ Professor Leopold is FANTASTIC! He has an excellent sense of humor, relaxed classroom,and entertaining and interesting class discussions.He knows his stuff.Test questions are out of the book. Easy "A" if you read the book and take notes. He will work with you if you have problems. He is respectful,kind,understanding,funny and totally HOT!

Good teacher and interesting class. The only thing that I have a problem with, is if you get a bad grade on one of the many assignments given, you automatically lose a letter grade and you cannot gain it back. The way he has his grading points, there is no way you can regain the grade that you want.

Joe is the best teacher ever! I wish he could teach all my classes. You have to read the book and take notes to do well but it's college and that shouldn't be hard. He's passionate about Anthropology and makes it an easy, open forum for everyone to speak. Tests and quizzes are easy if you read the chapter. Papers are easy. Take this class!

Leopold is a great teacher. He has his flaws, but he grades the responses fairly. His tests are a bit overwhelming since he gives you 30 seconds to answer each question. Overall, this is an easy A class. I recommend Leopold to all interested in Cultural Anthropology.

Overall, he's a good teacher. Took him online so there is always work to be done in 2 months. Every week you have to do 10 question quiz, engage in a group forum discussion 100 words & write a 300 word response. Theres an 80 question midterm & exam. Oh & everything is timed. Got a B in this class; could have been higher if I didnt skip 1 assignment

Professor Leopold is GREAT. Very interested in what he does, if you are as well he will recognize and accommodate accordingly. Terrible at responding to emails, slow at grading, but the guy is BUSY as hell. The "rude" comments are WITTY and amusing. Always made suggestions on how to make my responses and papers better. Good dude, backed hard.

Took class online. He is consistent in work and due dates, the assignments are easy, and he always provides witty and helpful feedback that usually got a laugh out of me. He is slow at emails, but makes up for it in his consideration for the student. You can't do bad in this class if you make an effort. Final is a bit of a challenge, but take him!

Easy elective for online students, very fair with grades, will call to discuss an issue, seems like a nice guy.I highly recommend this Professor.

I LOVE PROFESSOR LEOPOLD! I was so unclear about the assignment dates and I'm pretty sure all of them were past the due date when I submitted them but I called his office phone and he got back to me so fast. He told me not to worry and that it was no problem! Such and awesome nice professor! He's totally there for his students and will help you out

You get what you put in. You'll have solid core knowledge but also opportunity for more. Forgiving with late papers so slow to grade so please turn in on time, great and detailed feedback, try to meet with him outside class to get extra benefits. Nice guy, very knowledgeable, rewards solid work and extra reading outside of texts/detailed reference.

I've done work ca. 1970 in anthropology, so took the course to see what's being taught. Tests, papers, regular e-group reflections gets the students thinking and also where I got new insights. Fun papers using anthro tools to research your family. Thoughtful feedback, 'up' attitude, lotsa practical info. Great team exercises. I recommend him! MG

One of best teachers I ever had. Motivating, gives great constructive feedback & Pushes you to do better.

It's not hard, but not easy. A lot of writing. There's 3 big sections in the gradebook: critical thinking(at least 600words), discussion forums, and quizzes. No midterm or final, but there is a group project at the end. I fell behind and didn't complete all the assignments on time, but he helped me and allowed me to do all of them with no penalty

Professor Leopold is so caring about his students and wants them to succeed! Quizzes are easy and essays are fun to write, just follow proper APA format and you will be good! Discussions posts are interesting and enjoyable to write. Take him, you won't regret it and you will for sure get an A as long as you complete the assignments properly.

Professor Leopold is absolutely amazing! He genuinely cares so much about his students and wants everyone to pass, plus he gives you options about where you want to take the direction of your literature research. He's accommodating with flexible deadlines and takes the time read and absorb the work you submit.

Great professor! Absolutely cares and accommodates for students! Very lenient on due dates. A paper, quiz, and discussion are due every module. Ending the course, an easy individual project is due. There is no midterm or final during the course. Professor Leopold reads every assignment and has encouraging critiques. Great class if you like writing!

I thought the topics for both the papers professor Leopold assigned & our discussion posts were interesting, & he provided good feedback. Prof Leopold is lenient w due dates & considerate, allowing make-up & late work. He is also good at communicating w his students & replying to emails. I even enjoyed the textbook. Great class!

Professor Leopold is wonderful! I thoroughly enjoyed ANT 2000. It is very clear that he loves Anthropology and that makes the course enjoyable. The assignments are not too difficult and he is very helpful if you have any questions. The only negative thing I would say is that the course was a bit disorganized. I highly recommend this professor!
