Very good teacher.. explains very well. very interesting class you will never go asleep. you will laugh at his examples because he acts it out. knows what he is teaching. very helpful and open to students!

Prof. Mustari is one of the best instructors I've ever had. He makes good use of class room time and lets you know exaclty what is expected of you. He's very attentive to student needs. I highly recomend his classes there are interesting and easy to do well in if you study and take good notes.

Prof. Mustari is a promising young teacher. He knows his material very well, and mixes it with his personal experience inthe field. He is extremely nice, a real soft touch. The class notes he gives are very detailed, many times moreso than the book. His tests are just as detailed - hard! Recommended without hesitation.

Joe speaks with passion and truly has an infectious love for psychology. His teaching almost got me to change my major, and I'm studying engineering! Also, make sure that you take notes!

He's a very interesting teacher and very well educated. He has his Doctorate. What I like about him is that he doesn't act like he knows it all just because he has a "Dr." in front of his name. He's very helpful. Anwers all questions.He prety much GIVES OUT ANSWERS for the test. Will give review for each test & that's exaclty what's on the test :)

Pretty straight forward. Gives you the questions that will be on the test prior to it so there is no surprises. Very helpful and involved with his students.

Excellent use of class time. No group projects. multiple choice w/essay for exams. Unless you are an expert in Gen Psych you need to attend class. Study guide is provided. 1-3 assignments for entire semester, but any missed assignment means no grade for the entire class. Knows his psychology. Appreciates class discussion.

Attendance is required to pass this course. If not be sure to get the study guide for the exams. Study guide key. Mustari is helpful, but you have to let him know if you need help. Try to average mid 80s on exams (3exams +final), & complete the assignments & you should pass the class. Does not play favorites, you get what you deserve.

He was so awesome! He gives you a review sheet with questions that will be on the tests. But if you read your notes, you'll get an A. Plus there's a project worth 25 pts. Attendance is required, but there's not any homework, beside the one project. He's really passionate about the subject and you ACTUALLY LEARN psychology! I <3 him.

Fantastic teacher. He is extremely passionate about Psychology and his teaching style is very lively and engaging. Every minute of class time is used to the max and class is over before you know it. If you take good notes (which is easy since he writes it on the board and gives you a study guide of review questions) it's no sweat to get an A.

Mr. Mustari is a great teacher. I learned a lot from that class. Attendance is necessary because you have to take a lot of notes. He gives you a study guide before each tests which really helps. No homework. Just 5 tests and a project. He really knows his stuff!

I liked that he made Psychology interesting, but I didn't like that he caters to the lazier students. He cancels sections of his tests, skips chapters, and the questions in his tests are worded funny. Still, if you stay focused and ask him questions, you'll be fine. He is genuinely a good person at heart, and he's fair.

Mr.Joe is a very good teacher.His lectures are interesting and the review sheet, he gives students before exam really helps to prepare for it. His tests are pretty hard,but he wants the students to understand the term instead of memorizing it. I took the PSYCH 201 with him this summer and the class was OK for me. Take him, u won't be disappointed.

This class is super interesting. He has the basic 4 exams & 2 papers thru out the sem,& he sorta takes FOREVER in giving back the grades, but his lectures are interesting, and he's super energetic. His review sheets are awesome! Would be lost w/out em. I dont like classes bein 80min tho, I wish it wer longer. Cant wait for abnormal psych!

Prof. Mustari was electric. He never failed to engage the class and remain enthusiastic, regardless of reciprocation. Seems to have a genuine soul and love for psych. Respect.

The teacher hands out outlines and review questions for every chapter. He gets students to talk about the material. Very energetic and often funny! Great class!

Made the subject come alive for me. I have decided after taking several of his classes to switch my major over from physics to social psychology because of him.

His tests are CONFUSING! you can study for it BUT make sure you read a lot about each chapter because his multiple choice Questions are not that easy!He is a good teacher over all thou.

Mustari is really extremely passionate about Psychology. I usually hate Psychology but he makes the class very engaging and he wants everyone to do well. He makes the material as interesting as he possibly can. Make sure to study for the exams though!!

A superior teacher if there ever was one. Having fought my way through previous social science courses, I was prepared to slog through this one. I didn't need to. Prof. Mustari is totally committed to his students. You don't need to do anything except go to class and *understand* the things he talks about. Do that, and you'll easily get an A.

Very understanding person, he is an actual psychologist not just a teacher. he gives great notes and follows up with emails right away. I will be taking another class with him soon. If studied more on testes I would have received an A

He is an excellent and understanding teacher. He provides study guides and outlines for every chapter. The exams are easy, if you completed the study guide and took notes in class. There was only a two written assignments and h.w is online (learning curve). Mr. Mustari is very funny,follows the syllabus, and grades fairly.

Fantastic teacher. His teaching style makes us laugh and keeps us interested. Very friendly and approachable and is open to questions during class. Attend class, take notes, do a few learning curves everyday, and you'll pass with an A without a problem. I wish my major were Psychology so I could take another class with him. Nice guy. Lectures can be boring at times, but he does try to tell some jokes every couple of minutes to make it more entertaining. He gives guidelines on what to study for his tests. Tests were very easy, and he gives a bunch of extra credit. He gives assignments weeks in advanced, which is very helpful.

I really liked this professor! I took Abnormal Psych with him and he was always super enthusiastic and nice, he has a big personality and makes the class very interesting. Never turned anyone down if they had questions and was very clear on all his lectures.

Prof Mustari is animated and brilliant and his passion for the subject shows. Course covers a lot of ground and the tests are not so easy - but if you go to his lectures, follow along, take good notes, and you'll be fine. He was also kind enough to give us breaks mid-class since Summer classes are on the longer side.

As a major in Psychology I really enjoyed this class. He is very funny and silly and has a very hyper type of energy. He is also really thorough and gives great examples in relation to what he teaches. I love his attitude and how he always makes sure we understand before he moves on to the next subject. Barely any homework, study for tests though!

Prof. Mustari is clear and makes the class interesting! The class flies by. No hw at all, just read, two major essays (not complicated). Exams are easy if you study. I really do not suggest buying the book, because you can find much info online or just buy the previous edition, will save you $$$. Fun class, no group projects, highly recommend it

Took him in the summer and there was a lot of h.w but not that hard. His tests are tough but atleast he provides you with good study guide in advance.

He gives you chances to get extra credit. When I took his class, the final wasn't everything that you learned. But his exams and quizzes are usually multiple choice! It's always funny when he says "Okey dokey?" He's very enthusiastic & makes class interesting.

He's a really great professor, with amazing lectures! But beware, the lectures are a must, his lectures are very detailed and informative and he shows which parts are important(and may pop up on a test). Truly a wonderful professor with a lot of jokes! 11/10 would take this class again! Also connects course with major and future careers!

Professor Joseph Mustari is an amazing teacher! He definitely goes into depth with each topic and gives several examples to relate to reality. He loves when people participate and he makes eye contact with every person in the room. He makes sure everyone understands the material and he has great energy when teaching. I would take his class again!

Joseph is a very kind man. Actually one of the most kindest professors I ever met at Wright by far. This class is that it is a class for THOSE INTERESTED in PSYCHOLOGY. I personally wasn't which led me to lack in his class. Homework is easy cause answers are in videos. Writing responses are somewhat easy or hard. Exams are hard if not studied.

At first there was something off-putting- he can come off very frantic or hyper and can become defensive when you ask questions- but he really grew on me. He's very enthusiastic and truly tries and succeeds at teaching the material. A fair amount of homework but not too difficult and clear expectations. Easy if you do the work. Would take again!

I don't have an issue with Prof Mustari himself. He's a nice guy that cares about his student's success. But the course is lecture and reading heavy. His test reviews don't really cover the actual test material. Lots of online work through psychlab but it's "easy peasy," as he says. If you miss class a lot you'll fail. Cellphone use minus points.

Great Teacher, but Exams are harder if u don't study beyond his study guide.

Very nice, caring teacher. He teaches through stories, videos, and real life examples. The only challenging parts of this course are the online writing assignments (automated grading) and the tests. Because we only had homework once a month, worth only a few points, your grade really depends on how well you do on those assignments and tests.

Very intelligent in the field. Caring about what he teaches and he will help if you ask. The classes aren't difficult, but you need to pay attention. Putting any real effort towards this class and you will get an A or B.

Professor Mustari is truly an inspirational professor. He is very kind to everyone and is always in a happy mood. He really cares about his students, and is accessible outside class. He gives very clear lectures that are fun and exciting. He puts on videos for his students to better understand the topic.

Lots of online assignments including easy video-based quizzes, and writing assignments, based on certain sections of the text. He provides clear guidelines for the essays, and is lenient when grading. Studying and taking notes on the lectures is essential to passing the exams, each exam is about 50?'s. He provides some extra credit opportunities.

He's a great professor. He is super excited about his field and clearly loves what he does. You will not use the book a lot but unfortunately you do have to get it because without the online access you will fail all the assignments. I recommend just getting the access code and not a paper book. DO NOT miss class. Print the outlines. Ask questions!

Great teacher, very friendly and passionate about what he teaches. However hes very unorganized with his lectures. Needs to pace himself better. You need to make sure you read all the chapters on your own because he doesn't always touch every topic in a chapter during lecture.

Very good at explaining the details of the chapters and only assigns what is necessary. Test although they make you think critically you are able to use notes to guide you through the exam. Missing a class can effect your grade as lecture and the details he goes over is very important to the success of the class.

The teacher is well organized and fair with expectations. There's a lot of online work but it's easy enough if you get it done in time. He is very friendly and easy to talk to. His lectures are very interesting and helpful. Thanks for a great class!

He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. If you ask him questions after class, he will help you in any way he can. Be sure to attend class, because most of the info and notes will appear on the test. Reading the textbook is just as important. If you paid attention to previous psych courses, you should be able to pass easily.

I took this class as a prerequisite to get ready for grad school. I'm knee deep in my Master's Advanced Research Methods class right now and I just keep thinking how well Professor Mustari prepared me. This guy is passionate about his work and it's contagious. If you love psych, take his class. He loves it too. I worked hard and I learned a ton.

Prof. Joseph is very well prepared for these online classes. He has his notes for every chapter and those are very useful for tests. All homework and quiz assignments are done through Pearson, tests are done through brightspace. It is a very easy-to-follow class, he is very nice and cares for his class.

Professor Mustari was one of the best professors Ive had. He went far beyond the textbook (in a good way) to help us understand the concepts he was teaching and brought in a lot of his personal experiences from working in the field. There was no ambiguity regarding any assignments, and the lectures were insightful and interesting.

I love this professor so much. He really tries to help everyone out to the best of his abilities and is so understanding. I never felt happy to be in an online class, but he really pulled a 180 on me with online classes. I can only imagine how good his irl classes are!

He is a very caring person and will work with your if you need extensions or extra test time. There is a looooot of reading and homework assignments. Lectures are interesting. 4 exams total.

You can notice how much he loves teaching. His zoom lectures were never boring and I always loved attenting lectures. Work given is straightforward and not confusing which I like. I'd take him 100x again If I could.

If you have the chance to take him, DO IT. His lectures are always straight forward, very few assignments and the 3 essays are very short and easy. If you have a late assignment, he's very lenient just dont take advantage of that. I wish he taught every subject lol he's just so nice and not a stressful course

This professor makes it so clear what needs to be done. He is so considerate of his students other obligations such as classes, work, etc. I would 10/10 recommend because along with being there for his students, I can say he is the sweetest professor I have ever had.

Do yourself a favor and take his class. He is a very nice professor, and his lectures were really enjoyable. Most of the assignments were done on Pearson and he gave enough time to complete them, but he also was willing to extend the deadlines if you needed more time. This class was completely stress-free, and actually really enjoyable!

Professor Mustari had very enjoyable lectures. All assignments are on Pearson which you have to purchase but his exams are based on the assignments you do on Pearson so make sure you're doing the work. He's open to extending time on your exams or assignments if you let him know. Overall he's been super kind throughout the entire semester :)

I would definitely take this class again. Professor Mustari cares that you do well in his class. His assignments are very straight forward, not many discussions are done it's about 3 discussions during the whole semester. He's passionate about his work and answers all questions you have.

Professor Mustari was the best teacher I've had. He's very easy going, kind&understanding. When you communicate your needs to him, he does his best to help you. Textbook is required but all tests/quizzes are based strictly on the readings.All in Pearson and very easy. He does talk a lot for lectures, as long as you read the chpts you will be fine.

Prof Mustari is my favorite Psych Prof of all time. He is so encouraging, when replying to our discussion board posts, and uplifts us. He responds to e-mails fairly quickly and his grading criteria is very easy and straight forward. He always sends out reminder e-mails weekly about when work is due and in the week too. He really is caring.

Professor Mustari is a great professor. He gives us chapters to read and he will go more in depth during lectures. He will constantly ask if it makes sense throughout the lecture because he wants to make sure you get it. Participation matters because we learn through zoom so just let him know you're there. Highly recommend!

This was an online class that didn't have regular meetings, so the class was really just reading an online textbook and filling out quizzes with the occasional paper. Nothing hard, I just got a B because I put in very little effort. The text was very interesting and the professor seemed nice.

Professor Mustari makes class worth coming to! He truly cares about making sure you understand the topics during lecture and assignments are pretty easy. Not too test heavy, if you show up and participate you will do just fine.

Great teacher! This was an asynchronous online class. Really wish I had taken a synchronous class or in person. He uploaded his lectures for this class, and they were very insightful. This is my last semester with CCC, but if I had the opportunity I would take as many classes as possible with Professor Mustari.

He was very nice, he always sent emails to remind you about assignments due and gave good feedback on discussion posts. There was a total of two papers that were assigned and they weren't too difficult. All of the assignments were on pearson.

The class was asynchronous and was very well structured. Each week had the same consistent requirements. The class is very straightforward. The topics are very interesting in this course. The professor is always willing to answer any questions. Highly recommend the professor for the course or for anyone majoring in Psychology.
