Norton is a very nice man with a big heart. He cares about the students that are interested in his class discussions. Sometimes he can go on tangents about things that do not relate to class and yes he will talk about China A LOT, but he is passionate about history. Just read the chapters assigned and take notes while reading and you'll do fine.

He's a nice person but everything we talk about in class has nothing to do with whats on the test. so be prepared to read the text book. you also watch alot of boring videos.

Horrible teacher. It felt like more of a stand up routine in class than an actual lecture. Now that isn't bad if he actually stayed on topic with the material. Sadly for me and everyone in the class he did not. He had us read like 70 pages for a test and he didn't give us an outline so we would know what would be on the test. Basically the worst.
