Mr. Pellerin gives a quiz every class, but the quiz questions show back up on the test so if you study your quizzes you'll do good on the test. You don't have to read the texbook either.

Mr. Pellerin is a fantastic lecturer. He hardly uses the book, and his lectures are funny, quirky, and entertaining. He has a great sense of humor, and he tells you EXACTLY what will be on the test. Quiz every class, and generous bonuses on tests and quizzes. If you pay attention and take notes, you will pass easily!

You have a quiz every class but if you look over your notes from the lecture before you will do fine. The tests are over the quizzes that you took since the last test, if you study and come to class you will be fine.

Show up to each class, take good notes - There will be a quiz in the beginning of each class regarding the previous lecture. No book needed. You will have to critique US History based film, and read a novel for a 10 question quiz. Easy A!

super funny which makes things enjoyable and easy! really not interest in history but i learned a lot and had fun. quizzes come directly from the notes and tests come word for word from the quizzes. if u get a bad grade u must not have attended class. as long as u take notes you'll succeed....highly reccomend!

Great teacher, made boring class unboring, and quizes are easy even though they are written, just make sure to study what he writes on the board, easy 100. other than that just a 3 page movie review and a 10 question test on a book, easy. NO NEED TO BUY TEXTBOOK WITH THIS TEACHER

He is very easy and does not require attendance but if you are not there then you miss all the notes. His quizes and exams ALL come from his lecture, if you study this class is a breezee. I loved this class and i actually learned. He is so hot i can hardly concentrate! he is super fine!!!!

Mr. Pellerin's class is fun for the most part. Sometimes you may have to take a lot of notes, but you really only have to pay attention to what he writes on the board. Quizzes are numerous but easy and you should keep them for the tests. Total of 3. There is also a film review due in the middle of the semester, can be done in one night! :D

Mr. Pellerin is a badass. He is so chill and nice. During mardi gras he gave us fat Tuesday off so he could go party in Galveston. He is really chill but he goes through his lectures pretty quick so u have to pay attention but u don't have to buy a book which is AWESOME!

You show up to his class everyday, listen, take good notes, study and you will be fine. He's not a difficult professor, he doesn't try to fool you his test and quizzes are pretty straightforward. He does have a little bit of a dark sense of humor, but it does make the class a little more interesting.

Took him once a week; quiz everyday over last weeks lecture; Test after every 3 or 4 quizzes; But IT'S EASY. Everything (quizzes and tests) come straight from lectures, no book required which saves you money. If your not a good listener then buy a recorder. History was one of my least favorite classes until I took his class. He makes it interesting and fun. You normally get out of class at least an hour early which was nice and you do not need a text book. Quizes are fill in the blank and you have them each week on the previous lecture. I highly recommend him!

Take him! He makes history fun! All you need to know is what he writes on the board I found that recording the lecture helps since he moves kinda fast. Loved his class! I looked forward to his classes every night. I took him for a summer class. 5 weeks, 3 nights a week. Classes went by fast. Tests are easy. Taking notes aren't too terrible for him. Write what he writes on the board and you'll be set for making an A on his quizzes and tests!

Super nice guy, knows a lot of interesting things about history. Took him for history 1302 at night and he always let us out early. Everything on the quizzes will be on your exam. One paper and 3 exams. You definitely won't regret taking him!

Pellerin is a great professor who knows a lot about what he teaches. Several quizzes. They're super easy though as long as you take notes. The tests are literally straight from the quizzes. I have an A in his class and I might study a maximum of 30 minutes per week. And it's a summer class. As long as you take notes, you'll have no problem passing.

He is a very laid back Professor as long as you take your notes and listen during his class. If you miss a class get the notes from someone around you the quizzes are based off notes and the tests are based off your quizzes.

This is the EASIEST class I have ever taken and it has to do with this professor! His class is SUPER easy. For example. If you have his class on Mondays/Wednesdays, you have a lecture both days the whole class period but as he talks he writes that specific term that you need to know for the weekly quiz on the board. Quiz after every 2 lectures.

I came into the class very unenthusiastic about US History. However, Pellerin is very laidback and funny. He is calm, but tries to make his lectures interesting. I didnt have textbooks, this class was STRICTLY note-taking, quiz taking, and test taking. If you are not a note taker, you WILL fail this class.

One of the best professors you can get. Took His class twice 2 EASYY A's. All you have to do is listen and take the notes he writes on the board and you'll pass. There lots of quizzes but the quizzes are easy. 1 paper, but he'll let you turn it in whenever for just 5 points off. He work's with your schedule. This dude is one of the best!!!!!!!!!!!!

Professor Pellerin was amazing. I hate history but he is very passionate about it, and that made it interesting. He really is relatable and funny during lectures which makes it easy to remember. He is great at making his lecture an illustration. Whatever he writes on the board will be tested.

he was a great professor. If you can, try to take him! his lectures were very informational and he was also very funny. Because of covid our class had to be online. He was understanding and left the lecture videos on blackboard so we can go back and go over them! I appreciated that alot. there is only one signature assignment.

He is a very easy-going professor. His class is very straight forward and all the information is given through his lectures. He gives 3 quizzes before every test and all 3 quizzes are on the test. Although the tests are 100 questions, 60 multiple choice and 40 fill in the blank, it's super quick and easy. I would recommend studying for the tests.

Professor is very cool but I dislike him not having any reviews or materials to look over. The classes are lecture heavy and you need to take notes on everything he says. at least once a week you will have a quiz or an exam. All are open ended and exams are 100 questions.

Yes he is lecture heavy and you have to take many notes, however if you make friends this class is easy. He tells you exactly what you need to know, and makes it very simplified. As some one who struggles deeply with history he is amazing. Yes their is lot of open ended quizzes, but if you make a quizlet they are extremely easy. Studying is key!

Overall he was a good professor, very lecture heavy and quiz heavy, often lecture type classes are difficult for me but he makes the topics interesting. Quiz's and exams are easy if you study and memorize names and events. Most important thing I would is is take lots of notes.

Mr. Pellerin is possibly the first professor who made me enjoy learning about history. His lectures follow an amazing timeline which makes it easy to understand. I recommend taking notes in order to pass this class. Make sure to study to learn all topics for quizzes and exams. Overall pretty easy class with an easygoing teacher.

Absolutely loved Pellerin. Laid-back and chill, and a lenient grader (ex: if the answer is Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys and you put "Green Mt. Boys", he'll take it). His teaching style is simple: every 2 classes- quiz, every 3 quizzes- exam, and one very EASY signature assignment. The class is based on lectures; listen and you'll PASS!

Professor Pellerin is a very laid-back professor. Every two classes there is a quiz and every three quizzes is an exam. If your answer is misspelled but is still correct he will take it as the right answer. His signature assignment is very easy no one should be able to fail it. Overall his class is a 10/10 and I would take it again.

He is a really chill teacher. If you just write down what he tell you to you will pass his class. I got a 100% in his class by making flashcards and studying them before class. If you misspell the answers on a quiz/test, he will give you the points depending on how close you got to the right answer.

This Professor is by far the best history professor I have ever had. He has explained and spoken of it in a way more memorable than any professor/ teacher that I have ever had. Attending lectures are important for passing the class. Quizzes are fill in the blank, exams are 50 fill in blank, 50 multiple choice.

I had Mr. Pellerin for my 1301 History Class and he was absolutely amazing! He makes your life easy by reading out in depth notes of the section you are which 100% prepares you for the quiz every week. Mr. Pellerin was a very chill professor yet a very professional one. You're in safe hands if you have him for your semester!

Pellerin was easily one of the funniest and most real professors I have had since starting College. His knowledge of History topics is very expansive and inspirational. He also had a great sense of humor and never failed at making the classes laugh out loud, If I paid more attention, I would have gotten a higher grade, period.
