He is one of few professors who can give you a lifeworth lecture at RCC. His unique improvised lecture style hits the very bottom of your heart and wakes you up to the reality of life. But, due to his teaching style, sometimes a class doesn't work at all. If you are serious about your life, take it. If you want an easy-A, don't even think about it.

Dr.Pirone is an extraordinary professor. The entire semester was a true learning experience for me but I was particularly moved during the final 3 lectures where the class was encouraged to share their own experiences. He is an amazing person and very inspirational, spends whole class usually talking, only 3 tests for semester, grades on curve and drops lowest, allowed extra credit, final paper was long, somewhat difficult to write. Definitely take him especially for honors. The way he makes you think is life changing!! One of the best at RCC!

Very old school teacher , his whole lecture has nothing to do with the text book or anything that will be on the test. Very confusing, he took attendance while we were taking an exam which was very disruptive. He does give only 4 test which he drops the lowest grade. But since he is old school, he gives a ton of handouts bring lots of folders.

He wrote me a review for the Psych scholarship, and I'm extremely grateful. I work for him sometimes, and he is a very inspirational, awesome teacher. He will only put in time for those who care!

Dr. Pirone is an amazing teacher. Since he's been in practice for so long, he has plenty of information and stories to share. He sees potential in his students and tries his best to make them see it in themselves. If you're interested in psychology and/or the helping fields and are a serious student, Pirone is the teacher you need to take.

You don't really have to read a physical textbook for his courses, he uses an online tool that highlights all of the important information and then gives you a quiz. As long as you do those you will get an A. He gives extra credit for using that toll, and also gives credit if you have a lot of detailed notes by the end of the semester.

Dr. Pirone is the worst professor I had taken in my life! He doesn't teach, he makes you buy a 120$ textbook that he doesn't even use in his lectures or tests. His tests are unclear and are taken from a website that you also have to purchase an access code for. It is so hard to track him outside of the classroom and he is a very creepy person.
