Fabulous instructor! Adds current/relevant information to lecture material. Very organized and fair. Tests: 75% lecture & 25% text, but he provide a very clear study guide!

He is very organized, knows what he is taking about, makes class interesting. His test are all m/c and he adds 5 questions from previous test for extra credit. I did not read the book, only when to class a few times...read notes before class and got a B.

One of the nicest profs. Very organized, loves discussion (that's where you get to talk, too), gives relevent examples...easy to get A without always reading. Go to class. You'll actually learn something and enjoy yourself.

i took him during the summer, and it was easy. just make sure you read the book before class, and take all the notes because the tests come directly from them. He gives a review the day before, but I would study a few day before.

Awesome teacher, interesting material for the most part. He has good stories and examples. Only four exams, no papers, no quizzes. Go to class, he says 50% of exam from book 50% from lecture, but it is more like 10% book/90% lecture, so go to class. You will learn if you listen, he is not hard!!

I had such a great time with professor Price!! He is VERY nice and makes the class fun with his stories. This was such an easy class. All you do is read the chapters which is exactly what we go over in class and pay attention to get a good grade!! I hope to have him again for one of my other psychology classes!! Put him as your #1 choice for class!

Dr. Price is AMAZING! He is really nice, and ahas cute stories about his daughters. The class is based on 4 tests, one of those being the final which is not cummulative. He gives 5 points extra credit on each test. The tests tend to be 75% lecture and 25% book, so it really helps to read. Go to class and study and you should get an A no problem.

I loved Dr.Price; made everything more interesting because you can tell that he's passionate about the subject matter. He's an awesome teacher and genuinely appreciates those who actually go to class, so go!! I would definitely take any class he was teaching.

I loved this class! Price is interesting, knowledgable, helpful and fair. It's not an easy class, his tests are pretty difficult and require a lot of studying. His tests(4) are multiple choice, with one short answer, mostly from in class notes but also the book (about 70/30). He's a great teacher and I highly recommend this class.

I would highly recommend his class. He has all powerpoint lectures which are pretty interesting. Most everything he covers in class you can read from the book. Tests are pretty easy and he offers extra credit on them. Really nice guy.

This is honestly the best professor I have ever had at state. I am taking one of his classes next semester. He is very clear, encourages class participation and questions, and loves teaching psychology. His lectures are to the point and the tests aren't hard as long as you study and read the book. test outline is provided.

he is a great professor! i would strongly recommend taking this class if you are a hard worker! there is a ton of required reading in order to pass his difficult exams. altogether though his lectures are very interesting and humorous! you'll have a great time in his class!

What a wonderful class. I really enjoyed Dr. Price's wisdom, humor, and care for his students. Not a difficult class if you go to lecture, read the book, and study moderately. This class really stimulated my interest in developmental psychology. I now want to take the other developmental classes. Take this class and enjoy!

His a great instructor. Makes every lecture crystal clear. Lectures on powerpoint and posts them in blackboard. He gives out study guides for exams a few days before exam. And SG is basically 90% of exam. Very interesting class..i recommend taking him.

you absolutely need to read the textbook in order to do well on the tests. he does lectures and posts them online except he leaves some parts blank so you can fill them in during his lecture therefore.. you should attend class.

hard class, but as long as you actually study for the tests you will do fine. i did bad on most tests because i didnt study, but when i actually studied for the final i ended up getting 100 percent plus e.c.... sooo basically it's not that bad as long as you study. and he offers extra credit on every test.

Excellent professor! Recommend going to class for lecture notes, and reading the text book really helps on exams. Offers EC on all exams. Lectures are never boring, tells stories to keep them interesting. Definitely take this class!

The Class is Awesome!!! I learned so much from this professor. Dr. Price really gets deep into the material and makes sure that everyone understands it, providing examples of every topic. It was because of this class that I decided to pursue developmental psychology.

Dr. Price is one of the most caring, funniest, most enjoyable teachers I have ever head. He is an excellent teacher. I have learned sooo much from both his classes I took, psych 101 and psych 230. Even though his tests are very hard, they are manageable (read the textbook!!). DEFINITELY worth taking his class.

He is an amazing professor. he clarifies everything and tells personal stories to clarify concepts and keep you interested. easy class if you read the book and study. lectures are not madatory but definitely recommended because his storied and examples help you remember concepts. he is funny and extremely sweet. DEFINITELY Take him if you can!!

Price is awesome. makes it easy to sit through class. i expect teachers to relate the info in an interesting fashion and Price def does- he gives examples & humorous anecdotes from his own parenting experiences & provides real life examples. book isnt used too much but is necessary to flip thru for tests. he's not too hard.i recommend him for sure

Doctor Price is a great professor. Tests are pretty easy and there's five extra credit questions one each one. The lecture slides are on blackboard but you have to come to class in order to fill in the blanks. Book use varies from person to person, if you read the modules you'll probably get better exam grades. I definitely recommend him!

Professor Price is a really good teacher. He is very knowledge about what he teaches. His lectures can sometimes be dull but he puts the power points online and you just have to fill in certain words. Read the modules and study your notes and you'll get an A. Really good Professor

Dr.Price is a great. Go to class and take the notes. Theyre on blackboard, but there are empty spaces that he gives in class. READ the book. Most of his questions are from there. His exams are NO JOKE. I had a D- by the third exam and STUDIED for the final, got an A and got a C- in the class. Read and study, youll get an A.

His voice is boring - at least to me. Doesn't take attendance, and lectures are all powerpoint slides that you can download from blackboard. If you pay attention and do the work, you should be fine. He lays out all the criteria he'll grade in the syllabus.

Price is definitely a great professor when it comes to psychology. The class is a little boring, but he has a lot of great personal examples to keep the class somewhat interesting. Grade is based on 4 exams. You can cram the night before and you'll be fine.

This class was so ridiculously easy. Price is pretty boring but he is a nice guy. Like everyone else said, if you read the book and cram a little right before you'll do fine. This class is made up of 4 tests and 5 extra credit questions on each one. He tells you exactly what is on the exams.

Such an easy class. Lectures can get long and boring. Attendance is not mandatory but you need to fill in the notes he posts on Blackboard. Study guides tell you exactly what are on the tests. Read the the chapters once or twice, look over the slides, and cram right before class to get that A. I definitely recommend this class.

Ny favorite college course so far. The class is very straight foward, consisting of 4 exams and like 5 hours of a research requirement you have to complete. The research requirment is pretty easy. Downside is no curve watsoever and the book is pretty much mandatory. The class was interesting and u learn things about bipolar ppl and the brain & body

Boring teacher. Class is not mandatory, but it doesn't help you at all if you don't go. Study lecture AND book for the exams. 4 exams the whole semester with 5 points of extra credit on each (10 on final). TAs sometimes have reviews the night before the final- GO TO THEM! They have the test right in front of them and can help you know what to study

Download the slides from blackboard and fill them out with your laptop during class. READ THE CHAPTERS. Almost all of the exam questions are based on the book. Very nice teacher, interesting at times, we watch films a couple of times. An A is extremely possible, just study well, take good notes, and dont procrastinate before exams. highly recommend

Intetesting subject, Price is obviously passionate about it. But test are a bit difficult because he's somewhat unclear about whether the info will be from lecture or the books. 4 exams with 5 pts EC on each. Be prepared to read a lot, put in work and make sure you come to each lecture to fill in your powerpoints!

Price is a really good teacher if you are interested in brain development from birth to adolescence. Explains everything clearly and is very passionate about development. Went to his class everyday, the only class I ever looked forward to at SDSU. Not hard if you read and go to his lectures. Offers help if needed.

Price is great! He makes things very easy to understand and uses quite a few stories to illustrate concepts. Tests are taken from the textbook as well as the powerpoints he gives in lecture and there are 5 EC questions on every exam. As lons as you study the powerpoints and read the book, you will be perfectly fine.

Best Professor hands down. You want to be taught by a professional, and I mean a teacher that actually knows what their doing not just reading word for word their slides, hes the man. He KNOWS what hes saying and is a G. Take him for sure. Pretty EZ teacher too

Was a psych major before this class, now considering switching. ALOT of reading, you have to study really hard and read each chapter two or three times. REsearch hours are easy so make sure to do them. Class is pretty boring and takes a lot of time outside of the actual class.

my favorite class :) lectures completely coincide with reading assignments. topics are straightforward. to prepare for each test, i would read through once then make flashcards for every term (a bit tedious but i got As). the research hours arnt hard either, i recommend doing 2 hours of online surveys then the rest in actual studies(which are fun)

One of my favorite teachers! He is really sweet and cares about all of his students! Make sure to read the book and pay attention in class and you should be good. He knows a lot about what he is teaching so he can answer any question you have! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM! such a nice man!! :)

Pretty easy class if you pay attention during the lectures and you read the modules in the book. Don't forget to do your 4 hours of research participation or you won't get credit for the class. 4 tests all multiple choice with 5 extra credit questions on each test. Pretty easy A for the most part.

Dr. Price is an AWESOME professor. Perhaps one of the best at SDSU. This is his passion, and you can see it. He wants his students to learn, not just pass the class. If you ever need anything, you can always ask him for it. You have to attend class for the notes, but the lectures are pretty interesting. I would recommend him over any of the others

Super nice professor. His tests are a bit hard (asks questions that weren't part of the lecture). Overall, excellent experience. He's so smart and his voice is soothing lol. He really taught me a lot and I'm so glad I took his class. 3 tests overall.

Dr. Price is GREAT! I honestly was dreading retaking this class cause I got a D with a different prof. He has a great sense of humor, very helpful & provides awesome examples & videos to help you get a better understanding. I received a B but only because I definitely didn't study enough(a little lazy) I could have easily gotten an A. I recommend!

I didn't go to class but you really should. The material is very interesting but tests require a lot of studying. Gives tons of extra credit and is a nice guy. I recommend going to class and studying a couple days before tests

TAKE HIMMMMM!!!!! He is a wonderful professor. You can tell he enjoys what he is talking about, and he is good at making lecture funny and entertaining. Loved him so much that I will be registering for another class he is teaching next semester!

Take this class! He's super, super nice and helpful. Pretty easy course and very interesting. Tests are 50% lecture-based and 50% textbook-based. Would definitely recommend him for any class.

He was very precise with his PowerPoint and promotes attendance via missing slides. He explained everything very clearly. Always up for questions or further explanations in class. His test are not too heavily based on the book, go to the lectures and you'll be fine.

Dr. Price is a very nice and helpful professor. He puts on many videos to help you understand the concepts he explains. 4 Tests based on both lectures and textbook, which I admit were a bit challenging. Take advantage of the easy written assignment as that can potentially save your grade (trust me). Would definitely recommend!

I wish I avoided this teacher. I'm usually good at adjusting but I never figured this one out. His tests are SUPER specific like down to tiny little details. If you just go over the lecture notes, you'll get a C and if you try to read the 5 chapters in the book, you'll never remember the specific info he asks. You wont ever see a key term question

Dr. Price is such a nice guy! He knows his stuff, does research in the field of development, and he genuinely cares about his students! he presents the information very clear and exams are based on lecture and reading the textbook. I loved this class & am planning to take another with his this spring!

Dr. Price is an awesome guy and keeps the lectures very interesting. Exams can be a little difficult, but he gives 5 extra credit questions on each one and there are study guides. He says you need to read the chapters but if you fill in the study guide according to the lecture and look up the rest in the book you'll be fine. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Price's lectures can drag on sometimes, but he is a nice guy. Takes things slow and sometimes dwells on a particular subject. Some of his test questions come from the book and not the lectures, so the book is necessary. In the end, easy A.

The tests are quite confusing, considering some of the stuff he puts in the study guide are not even in the exams. The last exam is probably the hardest since it's only 4 chapters. Just have the book DOWN. Some of the smallest details in there show up on the exams. It's not an easy class, so don't slack off! But it is an interesting class.

Dr. Price is a very nice man and very clear in his lectures, although class can get pretty boring. He posts his powerpoints online and study guides for each test too. Tip: Make a google doc with the class to help with the study guides, it helps a TON! There are 4 tests and the final is NOT cumulative, thank goodness!

Dr. Price is a very nice man. His lectures are very clear and understandable, although they can sometimes be dull. You definitely need to read the book because he does not cover EVERYTHING. I would definitely recommend him.

If you want an A in the class get ready to read every chapter (which honestly isn't even that bad guys). I've taken another lower division class with him without reading much and passed with a B+. Attendance is not necessary if your class creates a Google Doc and you all share notes before exams. He's very nice, take him! Not a difficult class.

Class is based on 4 exams (5 EC Qs on each exam). ppt notes are incomplete, so you have to go to class for them. READ!!!!! He's such a nice professor! As long as you go to class and read every chapter, you should get an A in the class. He's very invested in the subject and it shows.

I really enjoyed lecture with Dr. Price. Lectures are very informative! 3 exams, one paper, and a final. + extra credit opp. on each exam. tested on text AND lecture material. Powerpoint slides are available, but purposely missing keywords/definitions--therefore lecture is mandatory, you fill the blanks. take him--he's amazing!

Take his classes. Go to class, listen to lectures, read the book, easy A. He makes lecture very interesting and is a great person overall. Very approachable. He gives a study guide for every test. Read the book thoroughly, the questions can get particular. Sometimes he'll drop a question that a lot of people missed. 10/10 would take again.

I took this class for the summer and I have to say it's one of my favorite classes! Dr. Price is an excellent professor and he really knows his stuff about the course. I loved listening to all the lectures. They are very interesting. The class consists of exams and assignments. Also extra credit is offered! I totally recommend him! :)

Dr. Price is a great professor! I definitely recommend this class. 4 exams given with 5 extra credit points on each test and 2 (very easy) papers are assigned that help boost your grade! I wish I could take another class with Dr. Price! Don't necessarily HAVE to read, but it does help with the tests... & review lectures!

YOU HAVE TO DO WELL ON THE TESTS TO PASS THIS CLASS. The tests make up 90 percent of the grade, and there are only four, so you don't have much room to mess up. Attendance isn't mandatory so you can get into a pattern of not going to class, after the first exam, didn't go to a single class for the next three months, oops. Great professor though.

This was a fun class since it actually applies to life. He uses stories to help people understand the material. Show up to class to get the PowerPoint material (fill in the blanks on slides). His tests are out of 70, but he asks 5 extra questions per test for extra credit. He is not a boring teacher, so that made the class even better!!!

Without reading I was getting B+'s on the exams but after realizing what I had to do to get the A, I really stepped up my game, started really reading, spread out the chapters as much as I could, and earned the A. So worth it. Though he has a soft voice, he is so engaging. I think you're gonna like him. 4 exams, 2 assignments.

Loved this class. 4-5 tests, no final, and two easy online assignments (less than 1 page each). Did not use the book at all, studied purely from lectures (very minimal study) and did well on all. Lectures were engaging, enjoyable, and relevant to students age/ social status/ etc. Absolutely would take this professor again.

Dr. Price is ADORABLE. He's so knowledgeable about every single topic covered and always has really neat things to say! you dont have to go to class, but I would recommend it! He's very clear and even complex content seems easy with him. I would read the book alongside his lectures because obvi he cant cover everything, and the tests are tough.

Professor Price is such a sweet and caring individual. Although this class covers lots of material, he is thorough in giving examples. There are 4 tests of equal weight (make sure you read the text), 2 learning assignments, and participation points. 100% would recommend.

Dr. Price is such a great professor! He is incredibly passionate about psychology overall and it really shows through in his teaching. Only 4 tests and 2 easy two-page assignments. Tests cover both book and lecture material so it is important to read & attend lectures.

Dr. Price was one of my favorite lecturers. Be sure to go to class to get the notes and participate with Top Hat because that can affect your grade. Only 4 tests and 2 super easy assignments. I would definitely recommend getting the book because he gets test questions from it and it was needed for one of his assignments.

He is a caring professor and teaches the material really well. You have weekly homework which is taking quizzes on the book material. These were helpful because as long as you read the book and paid attention in class the tests were easy.

(Summer 18) Great professor, assignments were posted ahead of time so u can work on them early. Read a chapter, listen to the lecture, sometimes do an activity, after about 3 chapters u take a test. He is nice and responds quickly, he is always there to help. I really enjoyed this class. I did not always read(text was online)

Thought this would be an easy A, I was wrong. Your grade is based on four exams and he adds no curve. Theres five ec questions on the exams which do help. His exams are based more on the textbook than his lectures so for my first time in 3 years of college I read a textbook. Class isn't mandatory but only posts his lectures with blanks to be filled

Dr. Prices lectures are engaging and interesting and he has a very calming presence which is refreshing in the world of stressed college students. He provides study guides that are very helpful - do them thoroughly and the tests will be a breeze. Graded on a handful of exams and a couple of assignments.

I took Professor Price for both PSY 230 and 332. He's one of my favorite professors at State! His lectures are interesting and is very passionate about the material. His grading is based off on 4 exams and 2/3 writing assignments. As long as you do the study guides (notes + book), you'll pass the exams. Definitely recommend getting the book!

You're only graded on tests and writing activities but as long as you read the textbook and pay attention in class the tests aren't too hard. One of the toughest classes I've taken for sure, but not unnecessarily so--there's just so much to cover & I think he did it really well. You do need to show up for the lectures to do well but they were in person & really boring tbh. Exams were tougher than usual, lots of info covered. If you don't usually study, you should learn how for this class

I only went to class a few times, and did great. Never read the book or watched his videos, just memorized the review session study guide and did great! He's a super chill and kind teacher, very understandable and wants the best for his students! Definitely take him if you have the chance to! Overall easy class with a few extra credit opportunities

Class structure consisted of 4 exams and a few short written assignments. The professor gives you a study guide for exams and actually puts material from it on the test. Absolute madman. But in all seriousness, I highly recommend this professor. He's a good guy with a good class. Ws all around
