He is very helpful, funny, holds discussions about interesting topics, and there is constant feedback. His class is also very easy as long as you have some motivation; he allows you to revise your work for a better grade, there's extra credit, make up work if you were too busy to reach a deadline, and he is always willing to help you improve.

I took Dr. Suglia for ENG 101 HYB, and liked him so much I did for ENG 102. This class has, in my opinion, an average amount of work for any english class. He makes class as fun as it can be, he's very fair, clear, and respectful to students. Go to every class and show up on time! For END 101 he lets you revise any of your work for a higher grade.

He's pretty clear on what he wants: Attendence, participation (some but doesn't enforce it), and doing the work. Honestly, this class was a breeze and if you want to have a funny professor who sounds like Ted Mosby, he's the guy. No exams, just 3 basic easy breezy quizzes, and two papers. :) Took him for English 102 but I heard he does 101 as well.

He is a GREAT teacher... my favorite at Malcolm so far. Took his English 101 HYBRID Mini session Class, and it was a breeze ! I took him in my first semester in college. He always gives great feedback, gives extensions when needed, and gives people the opportunity to fix their papers and receive a better grade.

I took his class over the summer, it was pretty easy. Most of the readings can be googled and you wont need to purchase book. He reminds you about upcoming homework and due dates. Overall good course as long as you keep up with work it was a fairly easy class.

Summer online coarse was intense but once you get the groove of things you will flow. Very intelligent professor of literature. You will read hard text and he will show you how to dissect literature properly. Two, one page papers a week and responses to peers. Didn't need the book. Do the work and you'll pass

First thing's first: you do NOT need the textbooks! All of the text is accessible via Google. Besides that, Suglia's class is really easy. There are a lot of papers, but as long as you do them and listen to his feedback, you'll be fine. He usually responds to emails within a couple hours. A solid choice for a straightforward class!

Dr. Suglia is cool but a little English heavy. A very "why are the curtains blue" kind of professor. Just do the work and revise what he tells you to and you'll get a high grade. I hate English and Dr. Suglia loves it. It was difficult to find the motivation to write 700 words "What Juliet knows about herself." TL;DR easy A, cool prof, dry class.

It was a major pleasure to be in Dr. Suglia's online class. He honestly mentally challenged me more than any professor I can remember, but his class isn't "hard" it just forces you to really think and defend your reasoning. Professor Suglia was a great Humanities professor this past semester, Spring 2021, and I would take his class again. Although his assignments can be a bit heavy and there is quite some reading to do, it's manageable. Grading is very clear, especially when it comes to projects. Overall, easy to achieve a high grade, even an easy A.

I didnt expect to be writing a 3 chapter book but it could have been worst each chapter is easy. If yiubdont like you grade you can jeep sending revise papers to him until you get the grade you want. Participation matters, if you pay attention, answer when called on, and show up to class, you should be okay. i don't know how he does it but Dr.Suglia responds in like two minutes to emails with a indepth comment about how to make your work better than it is, he is always there when you need his help, you redo your papers for the best grades. Dr. Suglia puts corrections and revisions very quick and lets you revise all your essays. I felt excited that I was allowed to express my thoughts in a logic and detail order. He's a great professor, his lectures are straightforward, make sure to pay attention in his class though. One problem I did have is that he did like to stray away, at times, from the learning subject so he'd easily get distracted, but then he'd get back on track. An AMAZING teacher. If you get a low grade on your paper, he gives you feedback that's super clear and helpful. He doesn't make the lectures boring. Prof. Suglia is a good professor, LOVES having active conversation. His feedback can be a little confusing and contradictory, and he loves playing Devil's Advocate. He introduced new topics I never heard of before and told us what the paper had to be about, made sure we understood the assignment by giving in depth detail about it and allowed for our imaginations and creativity to create an essay of a new topic that was new to me. He didn't assign us typical boring readings to read and write a summary about like in my last English with a different teacher. He is a real professor. I wrote drafts on papers I would normally see in a magazine article or newspaper. My writing skills were brought to a higher level and I see I have come a long way in opening my writing capabilities

I took the class in hybrid and he is very accessible outside of class and gives very quick and careful feedback on all your drafts. The best thing is he lets you keep revising your writing projects until you get A++. Suglia's office hours help a bunch. There you are able to have a conversation with him about how your paper could evolve. He sees our potential and does not let the work we initially put in define us as students. Because I know this about me, it's takes a very heavy load off of our shoulders.

A serious professor for serious students only. He goes over the structure of each essay very carefully for two weeks (four meetings) before it is due. He uses templates which tell you exactly what goes where. All of the guidelines and expectations are precise and clear and he discusses them in detail during class, again for 2 weeks for each essay.
