Great math teacher. Very patient, probably because he also teaches high school. Never went to fast and explained each concept thoroughly.

he is the best so far in any class i have taken, if u take his class and fail then it really is on you because he really helps alot - i mean alot, pick him up when u can because he is 100% picked up most of the time

I am and will be eternally grateful for this man. I attempted college algebra at least four times prior to taking Mr. Williams, only to drop out of frustration each time. If you have struggled with math, HE is the man to teach it to you. He is patient and he goes at a nice slow pace. He never pushed the class.

He is a super-nice guy. Sometimes rambles on, but all in all - he's a great teacher. I like a professor who can break up the dead air with a dorky joke or two. If you show up for class, you get rewarded on your final. If you just show up for testing day, don't expect much sympathy from Mr. Williams if you aren't doing so hot! I would take again.

Math is not my best subject. Failing this class last semester was keeping me from declaring my major at the university I attend. Mr. Williams taught the class in a way that most might understand, and didn't go to fast. Go to class and you will not only learn more, but you also might get a little boost if you're on the edge at the end of the semster

My only issue with this teacher is that he doesn't understand that there are times when you absolutely can not make it to class under certain circumstances. I had visited my family for a week and would be arriving in TX late, the day a test was due. He told me he would accept it if it was late, but in fact, did not. It dropped me to a D. =C

He is a good professor who explains the material well and will answer any questions. He is funny and entertaining, but teaching at a low performing highschool makes him kinda cranky. I didn't like his quizzes because they're harder than his tests and done at the very end of every class. Study quizzes, keep up w/hw, and you'll do fine on his tests.

Speaking english, is a plus!! Corny jokes break up the class and keeps things from getting overwhelming. Attendance will pay off on the final. Always willing to stop and answer questions. Would take hime again if I had more required Math classes. :)

Summer College Alg. He's a great, helpful, funny, and entertaining professor. Not too much hw, not overwhelming, but quizzes are harder than his tests. Keep up w/hw; study quizzes, and you'll do good. He'll also bump your grade up if you're a 69, 79, or 89 and didn't miss a lot. He raised mine to an A! I wish he taught my next math classes at DBU.

He is a very entertaining teacher! He makes sure you understand what he is teaching by giving you lots of examples, and answering your questions. His class is easy to comprehend if you go to class, take notes, and do your MyMathLab HW.

Mr williams is great. He will stay late for you if you need him too. He is not hard but he is a little heavy on attendance but it is for your benefit cause if you have been in class most of the time you might see a "B" turn into an "A"

He is an awesome guy but he very strict on attendance and its mandatory by the school. Attendance will help your grade toward the end but not a whole lot though. If you like to be all over the place take him. He test have about 30-33 questions on the exam. He is crazy though and funny.

I can not believe that post about him in the stats class. he does nothing like what is mentioned, stays after to help. He has never thrown anything. He helps make the long day bearable with his humor and you can tell he cares. He brought calculators for those that did not have any for a test and it says in the syllabus TI 83-84 is helpful! Mr. Williams is a GREAT teacher. I took the summer course and it's gone by pretty fast. He curves test grades if your class has a bad average. He also has a good sense of humor too. You will need the textbook. He gave take-home quizzes and he drops the 3 lowest quiz grade. The final replaces the lowest test grade. He does take some getting used to.

I wouldn't recommend taking Elem Stats during the summer. Its do-able, but very fast paced. Mr. Williams is a great teacher and explains things very well. His tests are very fair.

Awesome! I am terrible at math and i passed the first try. Attend class the curve on your final depends on it. Quizs are take home get help in the math lab and make 100s. No homework (voluntary). Dont drop, things change after the drop day. If he thinks you have put in effort then you will pass. Stick with it and try your best he rewards; )

Grades on a curve based in attendance. Teaches high school so he is patient. I hate math but learned a lot. He makes learning bearable.

Awesome professor!! I truly recommend him to anyone who sucks in math lol. Professor Williams cares about his students, his funny, intelligent and hot.. I am so glad I took his class, my only regret is taking him over the summer because he has so much to teach us and is just impossible to do teach us all he wants to teach us in a few weeks.

Mr. Williams is great! He cares about each student and wants those who work hard to succeed. He doesn't sugar coat the expectations of a college level course. Do the work and you will do well. He gives daily quizzes on the material and the tests are mostly multiple choice. He is funny, in a goofy but sweet way. Very smart and willing to help.

He is the best math teacher! You get to take your quizzes home, he doesn't require you to have my math lab. He curves, and explains so well! He is really corny but it is soo funny. I am not good at math AT ALL and am Ace-ing his course.

Very corny but so so helpful I have always been a C/D math student but this teacher helped me make a high B. So grateful. Don't drop. The closer to the end of the course the more help he gives the people that stick it out.

Omg if there are seats open grab it and enjoy a great semester with this awsome teacher. He makes u laugh, while telling it like it is. Stats is boring but he makes it much better. He grades easy and gives you tons of chances to make a great grade in class.

You'll still need to study on your own, however, as with all math classes. So much extra credit to help your grade and he's lenient. Statistics is boring, but his jokes made the class bearable. Glad I took him.

Math is one of my hardest subjects, but he made it easy. The book is not required, however he hands out take home quizzes every week so you may want to get it for extra help on them. He'll help you when needed. He gives extra credit which is always a plus. He has an awesome personality and makes the class fun. I definitely recommend him!

I took his statistics class for summer 1 and he is extremely helpful! He actually wants his students to pass. As long as you show that you're trying he will help. He also gives extra credit so take advantage! I'd take another math course with him and I don't even like math :)

I'm really bad at math yet I made an A+. His willing to extend exams until he feels the class is ready. Homework is not mandatory but will count as a quiz grade and if you do it YOU WILL BE MORE THAN READY FOR THE EXAMS!!

Professor Williams has to be one of the most funniest professors I've ever had! During my class, there were a take home quiz after every lecture, but they were super easy! He wants to see students succeed and is willing to help you. Makes lecture fun and not boring. Didn't really need the book bcuz of mymathlab. Would definitely take again!

I never cared to post one of these but it's necessary for Mr. Williams. This professor has been sure everyone is comfortable before continuing and he grades fairly. Quizzes cover what will be on the tests and howework reflects what lessons were in class. His sense of humor can make your eyebrow raise but he is sure to keep the class entertaining!

He will stay after class to help you understand. Just make sure you have your questions ready. There's a lot of HW but it's the only way to understand the question. His jokes are dry but I it's hard to make math funny. So, I give him an A.

Mr. Williams, is an amazing teacher. I haven't taken a math class since 1999. He worked with me and answered all my questions. He's funny and makes the class go by fast. I would recommend him to anyone who struggles with math.

I wish I would have taken him the 1st time around. There needs to be more teachers like him. He understands that there are different levels people learn at and he accommodates accordingly to make sure the student understands the material. The quiz are take home and you use them as a study guide for his test. I highly recommend taking him.

Still currently in his class, just passed midterms. Not saying stuff just to add on that he's a great professor but he really is. Homework is pretty easy, if you go to class you'll pass. Math isn't my best subject but his way of teaching makes me understand the concepts. He's pretty hilarious and cracks jokes, I recommend taking his class.

I have taken College Algebra 2 times and failed horribly. Mr Williams understands that everyone just does not get Algebra. His teaching method is amazing , and doing extra work for a better grade always helps. If you struggle with math, this professor is for you. At first it seemed tough but endure until the end. I did it and came out on top

Professor Williams has a funny sense of humor. As long as you're open minded, you'll enjoy the class. His quizzes can be difficult, but as long as you do your homework, you'll be fine. Be prepared to show up for class EVERY DAY, he takes attendance. He also has his own sets of notes and problems, so if you miss class, it will be hard to follow.

He tells way too many corny dad jokes, but he's a good professor. Quizzes every class over what we just learned in class. Tests are right from quizzes, but quizzes sometimes have nothing to do with the homework. Can be confusing, but quizzes count for almost nothing. Material is just plain hard, but he'll absolutely help you.

Class is mandatory, you have a quiz in every class every day. Homework is due on the day of the test which gives plenty of time. Hes a hilarious teacher and is very laid back, but it's hard to follow sometimes since he goes by a power point instead of really visualizing what is going on.

I can say that it was a hard class just because of MML. If it had been an in-person class, it would've been easier. Overall, good teacher! Answers your emails really fast and extends the deadlines for hw and tests a lot.

Really goofy and nice, there were some concepts that I never understood about math that he explained in a way that made it much easier. If you ask for help when you need it, you will pass.

Professor Williams is very helpful and made math very easy to learn, only used PowerPoints to teach and was interactive and answered any questions kindly. He also answered emails quickly and dropped low grades as well as giving extra credit and extending homework due dates as needed. All tests were multiple choice + test corrections.

The professor himself is a light. He's always cracking jokes and he really cares for his students. There is extra credit that can be received. biggest thing is that you need to put time in after class to understand the material. Math center is a necessity, you won't pass by just going to class. Also don't procrastinate on hw you don' want to play

Math isn't my strongest subject but I learned a lot with this prof.Lessons where good and explained with examples.There's Extra credit with test corrections and homework was manageable and easy if you paid attention.Don't skip class if you want to pass/have trouble with math.Ended class early and you could stay to work on hw and get help from him.

If he can make me understand math he can make anyone understand math. I came into this course knowing I would fail it and ended up passing with a B. he gives daily quizzes so attendance is mandatory. He genuinely wants everyone to pass his class and will go out of his way to help you if you're truly trying.

Tests are worth 80% of your overall grade!! 10% homework and 10% quiz, but he gave us extra credit not sure how I passed with a B! I would not take him again just because he's a tough grader but overall he is a good guy.

Mr. William's class is pretty hard. As long as you put in the work of doing the Homework and reviews for the test however you will get an A.

Professor Williams was an amazing professor. He goes over material at a slow pace and makes sure everyone understands before moving on to the next topic. He is very forgiving on attendance. He gives a test review and works on it with you in class before test dates. As long as you practice with homework you will do great.

I had him for both algebra and pre-cal, and he is awesome. If you are a bit touchy to certain subjects I would hesitate to take his class because he loves to talk and joke. Hard tests, however, his lectures are so understandable. I am sad I can't have him for every math class. A smart guy, & he respects his students and wants to help them succeed.

He has been so awesome and hilarious! Being present is VERY vital to passing. He allows recordings so you can refer back to audio and visuals later. I would recommend him to students who maybe haven't been in school a long time OR maybe who didn't pay much attention in school and need to get the basics of Algebra figured out. Such a blessing!

He was a fun professor to listen to, and he was pretty silly. HW is online via Pearson, but you have plenty of time to do it. Tests are proctored in test center, but he allowed flashcards sometimes. He would also hand out printed reviews. Make sure to show up to class, or you'll miss some good notes.

Honest feedback: - Good professor, always try to put humor stories each lecture to reduce the stress. - Well-prepared, he always put announcements before each class. - Test can be hand-written or computer test, if you use computer, you will see the results after finishing the test (except the final test).

He makes funny jokes often, which makes the class more enjoyable. The tests are easy, as you can either do them online or on paper. He does occasionally allow notecards, which can be helpful at times. He is extremely helpful if you have any questions on the notes, so don't be scared to ask him any questions.

Mr. Williams is always ready to help a student out when they need him. The grade you get in the class is very dependent on your tests, and your homework doesn't matter as much, but you should still complete all of them since they help you review what you have learned. You will be fine if you study his reviews and do your homework.

This professor is absolutely hilarious, he also makes sure you understand the unit if you ask questions and figures out problems with you. Great professor!
