Best math teacher i've ever had. It shows, our class average on 4'oclock quizzes were in the 90's and the other teachers' class averages were in the 70's. You'll learn a lot, but don't expect a curve.

I love this man. Absolutely enthusiastic about math, and it shows. Do the homework, pay attention in lecture, and do the practice problems for exams. They'll pretty much be the exams. If you don't love Isaac Newton now, you will at the end of the semester.

GREAT teacher! I would recomend him to anyone. He mad calculus at 8am on friday mornings fun. All teachers should be as passionate as him.

AWESOME PROFESSOR! makes calculus as interesting as possible. teaches you a lot about the history of calculus too. this man definitely has an iq towards the genius level. if you dont do well in the test, its ur fault. highly recommended, even if he does teach 8 oclock classes

Best professor at Lehigh! His class was my first class at Lehigh. What a great first impression! He truly cares about his students and absolutely loves math. He gets excited about teaching, which in turn makes his students want to learn. Teaches extremely well. Students taking him will not only do better but learn more. Take his class!

In 1985, a team at MIT developed their latest mathematics robot, codename "Yukich" and sent him to Lehigh University. He is probably the best professor I have had at Lehigh. Please look out for when he makes a mistake, though. He starts to freak out and malfunction. It is hilarious. He also has some strange man-love for Isaac Newton.

Professor Yukich is awesome!!! You have to show up to every class and on time because hw is due at the beginning of each class. He loves what he does and shows that as he teaches. He will know every students name and will involve the class in the problems. He explains the problems really well and will answer any of your questions!!

One of the BEST teachers at Lehigh. His lectures are extremely helpful. Be on time to turn in your hw. The tests can be challenging, but if you pay attention then you'll do fine. Goes out of his way to learn his students' names. Has a Romanian accent, but it doesn't detract from his teaching at all.

Hands down the best professor I have had yet at Lehigh. Clear, interesting, funny and just an amazing professor. He does not accept homework if you are late to class and his exams are reasonable. Just go to class and listen and you will do great... He is that good.

Professor Yukich is an excellent lecturer. I have yet to meet a man more in love with mathematics. His mathematical tales are always enrapturing and he usually has physical examples to help illustrate the day's subject. He understands the fact that most students are engineers and does not cover a lot of abstract theory.

His tests are reasonable and he always highlights the material to be covered. He is very strict when it comes to turning in homework so don't skip class, but you won't want to. He is that good of a lecturer.

Honestly a great professor. Just awarded the title of being one of the top 300 professors in the country by Princeton Review. For Lehigh, such a small school, that is amazing. I highly recommend him. He made the difference in my grade this semester.

Professor Yukich is great do not get me wrong. He is great at what he does, but is very tough second semester and unforgiving. He made the tests very tough and the averages were very low an un-curved. His TA was an unfair grader and did not give any partial credit for work shown. He comes off as intelligent, quick and funny. Really excellent professor! Lectures are well structured and comprehendible. He gets you to pay attention with his humor and has a clear love for the subject. He also wants to you to do well and speak in class. Learns everybody's name with what seems like impossible speed.

Honestly one of the best teachers I have ever had. His managed to be the only class that I didn't dread going to. In fact I actually looked forward to attending his class. Calc 2 is far move difficult second semester so watch out for that. Only sad thing is that I can't have him for Calc 3.

I would wake up at 4AM to have this guy teach me calc. He is that good. You don't typically have opportunities like this to be taught by such an incredible professor so if you do have that opportunity, don't hesitate to take it.

So if you want to get through calculus with no b.s. Prof Yukich is your guy. He wastes no time on mindless proofs/theory and teaches valuable examples. Many exam problems are ones from homework or problems he brings up in class. Go to class, do homework, and respect.

Professor Yukich is not only a good professor, he is a good human being. He is very reasonable and wants all of his students to pass. He is just a humble and decent person. Would take all my courses with him if I could.

Extremely intelligent, very difficult exams, gives great examples in class, weird pine cone obsession. Take him if you want a great professor. Don't if you want to help your GPA.

Take Professor Yukich for math! Although he is a tough grader, it is absolutely worth it. Make sure you understand every single homework problem and example in class and you will be alright for the tests. He frequently refers to "our math21 savior, Isaac Newton" and cracks many jokes. Plus he learns everyone's name within the first week!

He loves his job and it comes across in his lectures. Homework was assigned EVERY class and it's collected so attendance is mandatory. The textbook adds to the material but it is definitely not a solid replacement for missing a lecture or not paying attention. He's extremely helpful and cares about his students succeeding. Not intimidating at all.

It's only the beginning of the semester. Prof Yukich is an exceptional lecturer. He's fair in his grading. If you want to learn, I recommend Prof Yukich, but do not expect to pass for free. Like everything, it is expected that we work for it!

I have Prof. Yukich at 8 AM MWF and it may be the only 8 AM that I actually enjoy coming to. He is not only an excellent lecturer, but a great man. Given the course material is difficult, he definitely does the best that you will find at teaching it. Also, the PINECONES.

Took him for Calc 2. He was a really great professor, everything was pretty straightforward and he really loved the material. Exams weren't super difficult so if you went to class you would be prepared for it.
