A brilliant linguist, very responsible, always prepared for class, always helpful. Returns papers promptly, a fair grader. She's gorgeous.

Class can be a load, but its humanities so it was kind of expected. Kiteou is a good teacher though. If anyone has to take humanities, I would recommend her.

OMG this lady is an amazing professor she is a lot of fun and she really tries to get the class into what she's teaching...she makes a not so interesting topic interesting and i would recommend her for any class

At first, I thought this teacher was going to be mean. She does not like talking or eating in her class...AT ALL! But she actually turned out pretty nice. Has a great sense of humor and is fun to be around. I learned a lot in her class. I would recommend her to other students.

I had 3.5 years of french before taking her class and it didn't prepare me at all... but she's a great teacher!

She is a decent teacher, when grading she is very demanding, she tends to favor older students, has a good sense a humor and isnt afraid to critisize you, lots of in class participation.

She knows the material, she expects you to know it too, and Lord help you if you come to class unprepared because she sets every class up as a discussion. She is probably one of the best professors in the department.

Very smart prof, knows her material. Finally it got through I am getting good grades but it takes hard work. Also the person you attacked the prof for being pregnant must be a very sick student and very bitter

She really beats the material into ya...but she is an awesome teacher overall. I think that if she didn't grade as hard as she does I wouldn't have learned as much as I did. She makes sure that you're prepared for the next French course. Loved her...As long as you do your work..she'll love ya!

She has an accent that hard at first to understand. I like her alot and find her class very interesting and she knows her stuff. but i think 50% of the class has dropped since the beginning of the semester. I learned alot and enjoyed the challenge

Great Prof! Class does contain a lot of material, but tests are not hard if you study for them. 8 slides, 8 short answer & 1 essay. She makes it very interesting!!

At first I thought she was horrible. Always yelling at the class. But it wasn't her that was the problem...it was the class. I really liked her the second half of the semester. Tests are sort of hard...if you actually study, you will do well on the test. The papers are really hard though. Do the work and you'll be fine.

best prof since i started at usi...you need to study a lot for exams and essays but its rewarding at the end. I learned a lot from being in class...she makes presentations fun and allows discussion a lot.Big on participation.

I agree her classes are interesting.I took both her classes.Her tests are difficult and essays too.She comments too much on essays and her writting is not good.I enjoyed the classes.I reccommend these classes for good studetns only.

I loved her! she is a great teacher, but her tests and papers are a little rediculus. other than that she is great. participate in class, it will make it a lot easier.

A magnificent teacher. She may not be a PhD, but you will fill the need to call her Dr. simply because she has a great knowledge of the subject. To get an A on her papers, all you have to do is look past the pages, and into the questions and meanings that are not literally on the page, I recieved an A on all of her papers by doing this.

I really liked her too. if you study for the tests you will be OK. fun class.

liked her A LOT. you must study HARD for tests and you will be fine. go to class too, take notes. she is alright. you dont need much to pass this class.go to class and study for the test HARD.

This teacher was VERY difficult. I'm used to getting all A's and I had to work very hard to get an A with this professor. She is nice and I learned a lot but I thought it was just too much work for a core class...

tests are hard but not that hard that you cant pass. you need to study if you want a good grade and she is a fun professor. she gets mad if you dont speak in class during discussions.

fav prof so far. must speak in class.study for the exams cause they count more.

She seems very intimidating, but if you meet with her one on one you will see that she is really very sweet and helpful. She knows what she's teaching very well and is very reliable. Her tests are very detailed and you have to do a lot of studying. Grades are only tests and quizzes, so take her if you actually want to learn not for a blow off.

I loved her! She is a bit intimadating but she knows her stuff. she doesnt use the book and if you show up for class take good notes, and study it should be an easy grade. She makes class interesting and I always left feeling like I learned something, Great professor!

Great teacher. You will learn so much, but you must study, study, study! I think she is one of USI's best professors. I have learned more from her than any of my other professors. She needs a raise!

She has no problem tearing you apart! She's great, keeps the class interesting, always encouraging her students to look at things differently, gets pissed off when no-one will say anything, and if you need help with anything she'll help you out.

Dr. Kiteou is a very passionate professor that can seem intimidating at first. She encourages her students to "know the world they live in" and to "take the path less traveled". This class was one of my most difficult classes and you must study, study, and study some more, but you are guaranteed to learn. Take her only if you want to learn!

Dr. Kietou seems intimidating at first, but she's actually a very nice person. She's an amazing professor who knows her stuff and is very enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge. She truly cares about her students and their learning experience. She's so animated and humanities have never been more interesting. Going to class is enjoyable.

Dr. Kiteou is by the best professor that I've had. She honestly cares about her students, and will go out of her way to help you. She says whatever she wants during class and is not afraid to make you uncomfortable. Take her for any class you can.

This has been my favotire class ever at USI, as well as my favorite professor. Her class was always interesting and you could tell she loved her job. It was easy for me because I love history. The only downside to my class was the guy that always got so mad, cussed, and wanted to fight everyone.

Dr. Kiteou loves what she teaches. She is not an easy professor. You must work for your grade. But if you are willing to put forth the effort, she will make sure you succeed. She teaches in a way so that the material impacts you and you actually retain what you learn. She is a five star professor, hands down!

Seems a little harsh at first, but she is really nice. Don't forget to do the online quizzes; she won't let you make them up. Mid-term and final are both over lecture notes, so try and attend as much as possible. The class is overall pretty easy and very interesting.

Very easy class. Attending the lectures is optional, but some questions on the tests are from lecture. The tests and homework for this class was all online. Kiteou is very enthusiastic in lecture, she can get very exited about teaching and can also get mad when students don't co-operate. One of the more interesting lectures I've been in.

She can be overwhelming and loud at times, but she is an awesome professor. She's very passionate and knowledgable on all of the material covered. Class isn't mandatory, but if you go to class and pay attention, the tests are a breeze. Highly recommend!!!!

I absolutely loved this class! I understood everything that she talked about, she did very well making it to where us students could easily remember it. She can be very blunt, but she means well. Our tests/quizzes where done online &I liked that. There were no papers to write, that was a plus! I recommend taking her for sure! She's awesome! :)

Shes crazy and scary at first but extremely funny. 3 online tests the whole semester, nothing else. no papers. fun class. I never used the textbook because she talks so much in depth and its actually interesting so you listen and understand. powerpoints all online which is what is mostly on the tests. easy peasy! recommend! This class is super easy. All she does is lecture--but its entertaining because she's very colorful. She's very brunt. If you speak out, you had better know the answer; otherwise you should keep your mouth shut. If you have a low self esteem and can't take criticism, don't raise your hand. She's very knowledgeable and you'll learn a lot.

This class was much easier than the other humanities course I took. No outside reading or homework is required. I didn't open my textbook once or study for any of the tests and still received a B in the class. If you attend the lectures and print off her PowerPoints, you'll do well in this class.

Easy Class. Grades are based only on tests and quizes which are all done online. The textbook is barely used.Attendance isn't mandatory, but it helps to go because she empasises the major testing points. She is very enthusiastic about teaching, and if you answer a question in class without fully understanding it she will try to humiliate you.

She is an awesome lecturer. She is super funny and keeps the class very interested in her lectures. Time flies in that class. You only have 4 online tests. You will get an a if you go to her class and takes notes on WHAT SHE TAKES ABOUT NOT WHAT IS ON THE SLIDES.The class is super easy if you take notes. No book needed!

She's going to be intimidating at first, but trust me, you won't regret taking the class. She's really a great and funny teacher. She's got a hardcore personality, but she's really not that bad. You never need the book and her tests are based off all her lectures. If you attend class EVERYDAY and TAKE NOTES, you will get excellent grades.

Listen to her. One of the very best Professors at USI. You only fail yourself in her class.

Professor Kiteou is much more friendly than she seems on the surface, and can come off as intimidating. However, there is no homework, and as long as you take extremely detailed notes on the slides for the online tests you will pass with an A. Sit near the front if you don't want to be called on during lectures. If emailed will give extra credit.

By far my favorite professor I had during my four years at USI. Wish I had been able to take another class with her, but never got the chance. Not a piece of cake class, but definitely worth it. Put the effort in and you wont regret or forget the class.
