Be prepared for pop quizzes!!!! The class is all lecture but really easy to understand. Make sure you pay attention in class to be able to understand the pop quizzes. He's a nice guy and makes funny jokes :)

I really liked him and I am terrible when it comes to politics. He is really easy going and laid back. He is not a tough grader. He gives pop quizzes but they are usually easy and out of 12 he only takes 8. He has 4 tests. I would recommend him.

I love Professor Johnson! His class is really easy because he makes it easy! His lectures can be long, but he makes sure everything makes sense. He teaches what is actually important about intro-level political science. He is a nice guy and not out to get you. If you just pay attention in class and study a little, his class is a very easy A.

Josh Johnson is a great professor! I am taking his class online and its a perfect class to balance out your schedule! You have discussions due every week but they are straight to point and very easy. He also makes you do 3 papers but they only have to be 2-3 pages and are super easy to do! Take his class!!!!!

I'm taking Professor Johnson's PS class online, I am quite comfortable with his lectures, mostly power points, read a lot and just get those 3 papers completed on time along with discussions and you should be good. Awesome class!

Super easy class, use quizlet and youre set. The Professor himself is like any other online teacher - little communication, but accessible is needed. You have a monthly discussion post, 2 papers, and 3 tests. The discussion posts and papers were actually interesting. Take this class if you need a good grade for minimal work.

This class was online and we only had to do a few discussion posts over the semester. You have to write two papers and take three exams. The book is not needed.

This class was exceptionally easy. All the test questions are on Quizlet, there are 2 papers that are not graded harshly at all, and 4 discussion board posts that are easy. I think I devoted 2 or 3 hours total over the whole semester to do class work and take tests.

Professor Johnson is amazing, take him!!!! Easiest class all semester and there's very little work, it actually felt weird barely having anything to do. 2 essays (one at start and one at end of semester), 4 discussions all semester and 3 exams with no lockdown browser. Even the discussion and essay topics are interesting to write about.

Dr. Johnson is great! I took his online class and he stayed in touch via email throughout the semester. Its collage so you will have to work, but if you read the book and do your work, you will do fine. His test can be difficult if you don't study. My grade was based on 4 discussions, 3 test and 2 paper (3-5 pages).

All tests are on Quizlet word for word. 4 discussions that will literally take 15 mins at most. 2 essays that I got A+ on and I only spent like an hour writing each one. Hands down easiest class I have ever taken. I learned absolutely nothing.

I almost forgot this class existed. If you put the due dates for your assignments in your calendar and have them alert you, you will do well in this class. The assignments are pretty easy.

The easiest A of your entire. You do not need to do any sort of studying tbh. All exam questions are on quizlet and the exams are on D2L without lockdown. The only grades are 3 exams, 2 papers, and 4 D2L discussion board questions. Each paper maybe takes 2 hours, and discussion board stuff is quick. Don't take anyone else for Pols 1101!!!

TAKE HIS CLASS!!!! I took him for political science online and it was the easiest class ever! only 3 exams that you can look up on quizlet, 2 papers that are super easy and he is an easy grader, and 4 discussion posts that are super easy also!! I did the bare minimum and I got A in the class.

This class is why I decided to love online classes. This class is an easy A you only have 4 discussion posts, 2 essays, and like 3 tests plus the final is not cumulative. If you just do your work you will pass this class EASILY.

Easiest A. TAKE ONLINE. You will literally do nothing and make a 100. I could tell he was very nice and caring from his emails at the beginning of each week. 4 discussions, 2 papers, and 2 tests (which are online) big gpa booster

Dr Johnson's online class was simple and straightforward. 4 discussion posts, 2 papers and 3 tests including the final. He is a very nice man who replies quick and does not grade difficult whatsoever. If you take this class and just do what is asked of you, an A is ensured.

Awesome professor. I took his online class and if you just follow the rubric you're bound to make an A. Very clear on his grading and offers feedback. Just make sure to check the modules so you don't miss a discussion, and you do have to study for the tests but he provides power points.

Dr. Johnson is amazing! Follow the rubric and study for the exams. He is so nice and answers emails within minutes. You will not regret taking him. I ended up with a 88.9 and he gave me an A!

Very easy and straightforward. 3 tests that you can use quizlets for the questions. 4 discussion posts that are easy and interesting and you comment on two other posts. 2 papers that are about 3-5 pages double spaced, and it is not bad at all. Just keep track of the deadlines and do the work and it's an easy A.

3 tests non-cumulative, 2 papers, and a couple of discussion posts. Easy A. Very clear guidelines and he constantly reminds you of deadlines. You have to try hard to not make an A. Very clear and consistent with grading and the tests are not lockdown. Would definitely take again!!!

Easiest POLS class you can take. You'll regret if you don't take his class unless you're a POLS major. He always sent an email each week to remind everyone to do their discussion posts, paper, or exam. His exams are super easy and many of them can be found in Quizlet. Definitely take him if you have a chance. Good luck!

Super caring professor! Always accessible and wanted the best for his students. He doesn't overload you with work. The class was divided into 3 groups where a different group has a discussion post due each week. 3 discussion posts total, 3 exams, no lockdown or webcam needed. Also 2 papers with very easy grading criteria. definitley an easy A!!!

Two tests, two papers, four discussion boards. Gave several opportunities to talk about content in private and group settings! Tests and essays are a little heavy but if you read the textbook you'll be fine. Don't forget to do discussion boards! That's what cost me an A. 10/10 would recommend!

I barely spoke to Professor Johnson and he did take a long time to respond to emails but his class was easy. All you do is read the textbook chapters on the study guide review the powerpoint and you will get an A+. There was only 3 tests and 1 paper. Easy A, no lock-down browser! Also, had about 3 discussion posts for my group.

Didn't talk to him much but I enjoyed the class. A discussion post every once in a while, 3 exams, and one paper. easy peasy.

Dr. Johnson is a really chill guy, and his lectures are a lot of fun. I learned a lot in this class. Attendance helps, but he posts his powerpoints, and they are very thorough. Not a ton of graded items - 2 exams, couple of essays, and a presentation with the final. Not a particularly tough class, and a fun time in the classroom.

This class was insanely easy. There was no need to read the textbook or study. All you had to do was find quizlets during the tests. There were 4 discussion posts, but they do not take long. I did the paper in one day and got an A on it. Very easy class, highly recommend.

If you are just taking POLS1101 for a credit, TAKE HIS CLASS. He is one of the most responsive and on top of it professors I have ever had! He responds to emails, very laid back about late work and is very clear about what he wants from you throughout the semester. Had a wonderful and easy time taking his class!

Enjoyable classroom experience. Take good notes and alongside detailed PowerPoints he provides, there's your two exams. There's also multiple case briefs and a final longer case brief with a short, in class presentation over it. Don't be threatened by the few assignments. Work hard and he'll work with you to succeed. He's a good professor.

If you just want the credit for the class to fulfill ksu gov requirement take this class, its pretty much a free A. I think johnson understands this lol as the workload is not much, I believe it was 3 exams, 4 discussion posts, and 1 essay (all of which were graded fair and easily). I def recommend this teacher! Professor is a funny guy who knows what he is teaching and knows how to teach it to young college students. The material is super boring but he tries hard to make it interesting. There are 2 really tough tests than some easy essays. If it weren't for the exams this would be an Easy A class but regardless its passable.

Professor Johnson just gives three tests, four discussion boards, and one paper. He doesn't really teach, he just assigns work and expects them to be done. This class is easy if you have dedication to actual turn in work on time and have motivation to do work on your own since its an online class.

Professor Johnson is above all, very chill. Don't need the textbook and attendance DOES matter. But he's very understanding for any issues and responds quickly. 2 exams, 1 final paper & presentation, and 7-8 quizzes (you'll get used to when they "pop" up): only counts the top 5. Very knowledgeable, so you'll have a better time participating.

Take this guy! This professor saved my HOPE Scholarship! He did assign us an essay every week, but that is only if you are planning to take his online summer course though. His discussions and quizzes were simple and educational. Just make sure to stay on task through out his class. Don't be afraid to ask for help, he'll know how to work with you!

Dr. Johnson was overall a well-rounded teacher! There were two tests (20 percent each), two case briefs (10 percent each), a privacy paper (15 percent), attendance (5 percent), and the final paper over a case. He's a very easy grader and is very understanding of how students operate. He's also an amazing teacher to talk with outside of class.

The class homework consisted of either a 2-3 page paper or a discussion board post + quiz that alternated every other week. The criteria and subject for each assignment was clear and easy to build upon so while the paper length may seem long its easy to reach. Professor Johnson is super nice and chill and the class had no tests.

Take Dr. Johnson. One week you will have a 2-3 page essay due and the next you will have a discussion post + a quiz. Quizzes are relatively easy and he is lenient in grading essays. He is a great communicator through email. With him, this class should not be a burden. 10/10 No reason not to take him if you can.

I would 100% take this professor again! He sets out reminders so that you don't forget any dates; however, make sure you have the dates. He is a slower grades, but you will do well if you apply yourself. There is an essay one week, then a discussion post and quiz the next! If you study you'll do fine! 10/10 recommend!

If you are looking for a class to complete this gen ed with an easy A, this is the best class to take. The workload was extremely light and I was able to complete assignments easily. Take him for gov.

Take this class if you hate tests. Every week the, there's either a quiz + discussion or a 2-3 page essay. The essay topics are easy to write about and I usually finished the week's assignment in an hour or two. Easy grader. Quizzes are w/out lockdown. Discussions are easy, and there doesn't seem to be a "word minimum."

INCREDIBLY easy class. He switches between a 20q quiz+a discussion post one week and a writing assignment the other. The writing assignments are said to be 2-3 pages but he is VERY lenient on length, just make it good. Set aside about 2 hours MAX for this class per week. Easy A, genuinely

EASY GRADER. Take this class if you want to get over the gen Ed class. His assignments are discussion posts, essays(2-3page but length does not matter), and quizzes open note and NO LOCKDOWN. So if you hate or bad at tests, I highly recommend Mr. Johnson.

Very chill guy and really nice. The only assignments were two tests and 4 papers. Participation is also a grade but he doesn't take attendance. Exams are in class and on paper and they were kinda tough to be honest but if you read the readings and are attentive during lectures, then you'll be more than fine. Overall he was a great prof!

Other than the fact that he takes a while to grade things, he is a good professor, and his class is easy. There is a lot of writing and reading you will have to do but the assignments are straightforward, complete them and you will pass. He is very laid back, and I'd definitely take his class again.
