He is very good professor. His tests are multiple choices. He gives the test every chapter. Though he teaches a lot of theories, it is important for our foundation. He is CUTE.

He is a nice professor. Nice and clear lectures. However, he's tests are tough, cover everything in the chapter, both concept and calculations. They are all Multiple Choice. Overall, you can learn a lot of things in his class. Recomment for hard working accounting major students.

I'm now in Baruch. Comparetively, I think he can beat half of the profs in Baruch. He definitely better than most of the profs in BMCC. He gives you clear lectures, he pushes you to study hard and he cares about students. By the way, he is a very attractive man.

I had Prof Wolfson for both Intermed Accounting and Cost accounting, He is a tough professor, but he makes you learn. He does know what he is teaching. He is a helpful professor. If you are an accounting major, and you want to learn you stuff, take him, If you just want an easy A, don't take him. Gives test after every chapter, it does help

if you are an accounting major, he is the best prof try to get to his class, because other prof. are not as good as he is, he is a profesional. He is strict, gives great material, you do learn in his class. But if you are not accounting major, do not take him because you will say that he is too hard and you do not need this class anyways.

He's ok. He reminds me of Judge Judy sometimes with his attitude and rudeness but if you dont take it too seriously it's actually kind of funny. If you're majoring in accounting you should definitely take him. Would take him again in a heartbeat and would have taken the next level of accounting with him but he didnt teach it.

He is best accounting professor I ever had! I took Intermeidate 1 and Cost Accounting with him and i can catch up with his classes and get an "A". And when I have any questions, he always explains them to me very clearly. So my advise is, if you want to learn, take his class. He is the best!

Does not assign or collect homework. That may sound like a plus, but how do you know if you are not getting things like you should? No nonsense professor. This semester's book was absolutely horrific, so attending class is a must so you don't fall behind. Overall I'd recommend him if you are serious about accounting as a career choice.

I took him during the Summer Session. Great professor, quick, and efficient. There were a lot of extra points in the exams but you had earn them. My advice is to listen and take in what he is teaching. Practice everyday - this is a no BS class and if you slack around you'll be lost. Otherwise, I highly suggest him if you are in it for the long run.

Here it is point blank. Prof is crystal clear and explains the material plainly and in simple terms. The man reviews material RIGHT BEFORE the test. He drops your lowest grade and makes sure you understand. Take him if you are serious about getting a good grade. Read the text and pay attention. Highly recommended!

Easy A. All you have to do is read the text, do the exercises and show up to class. If you can't do that then you're not ready for college.

What can I say, Prof. Wolfson is one of the best professors I have taken for accounting. I registered for his classes for three semesters back to back. He is very knowledgeable and teaches with clarity. He is strict, but very good. He will test you for every chapter. If Accounting is your major you should him from the beginning. Two thumbs up!

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR HE MAKES ACCOUNTING SEEM SO EASY

"Everything is a No!" He says this when the class says NO regarding something hes already reviewed. The great part is he will review it with again. If the class is still struggling with the information he will give you an open book test the last 20 minutes of the exam. He might be to easy so make sure you read the book and challenge yourself!

I obtained my bachelor degree in accounting and I may say he was my best professor ever.

Best professor ever! He made accounting easy to understand. He also has a sense of humor which made class enjoyable. At the end of each chapter he gives a multiple choice quiz which are fairly easy.

Although he may come off as very tough he makes sure he doesn't move on until everything is crystal clear, constantly asking if anyone has questions. He gives tests after each chapter if you study the chapters the tests are fairly easy. I would recommend him I learned a lot.

He is great! Explains what is needed for the class in detail. Reviews for the test. Test is on EVERY CHAPTER on the book! so basically you will get a TEST on everything! You will learn a lot.

Wolfson is the head of Accounting department. He's a very fair guy. He tells you what's going to be on test and goes over it extensively before tests. I wouldn't say his tests are hard but if you don't put the time in you will struggle in his courses. Can be somewhat intimidating in class environment but very helpful during office hours.

This professor is great! He is clear from the beginning with the fact that the course is not easy and you'll have to work hard to get an A! Make sure to study a lot and make use of the book, since his test are based on the material. This is a very smart Prof who actually teaches in front of a class. Intermediate accounting 11 is not an easy class, but his examples are straight forward and he is always open to questions. The hardest part for me was his final exam, which was based on everything he thought in the semester.

Hates cellphones in the class - shut it off. Bring your textbook to class everyday you will use it EVERYDAY. You'll have a test per chapter. Very well organized, straight to the point, easy to understand lessons. No extra credit whatsoever. Overall grade is based on all the chapter test plus the final. A class for those who actually want to learn.

Great professor. Throws a little bit of anecdotes/ jokes into his lectures, which are never boring. Be prepared to read and go over chapters outside of class to really understand how to do things he goes over in class. Grading is simple, strictly testing, and the amount of points u can earn usually go over 100 for each exam.

Professor Wolfson is a good professor, and the exams are mostly based on class notes. He does not like cellphones in class and the textbook is used in every class. Accounting 430 is hard but Professor Josh is an excellent Professor he knows this course so well and he knows how to teach. Exam after each chapter so you have a chance to do well just study hard and everything is going to be hard.

Professor Wolfson is an AMAZING professor. He'll be using the chalkboard the entire time so pay attention and attend class. He'll drop your lowest grade and we were only graded on quizes. He has a lot of knowledge and when he says study, you should. You're told when you have the test and studying the day before is how you pass. Just no phones.

NOTE: This review is a couple months late. Professor Wolfson's lectures are straight to the point. He knows a lot about accounting; his explanations are top-notch. There is no homework, only exams. His exams were easy for the most part. Lastly, Prof. Wolfson adapted very well to distance learning. I can't recommend him enough.

He is the BEST Accounting professor I have ever took. He is knowledgeable. All he taught is useful. You don't need a lot of time to read books. You only need to really understand what he teach during the lecture. Half the work with double results. He really want his students can learn. He is not a EASY A professor. But I like his lecture very much.

its kinda funny I started my major as accounting but josh would talk about random topics of economic and social life and made me interested in finance. im in my final stretch in BMCC I believe I came this point in particular in josh he allowed me to retake exams and I was tarty but gave me opportunitys.i learned and made up from following semesters

This is a professor who cares about the subject matter and his students. We used the textbook every class. Class is informative but please do yourself a favor and keep up with the reading it is really hard to catch up if you fall behind in my experience. I liked him for intro to accounting would take him again.
