Professor Casper had the most interesting class. He has quizzes every week and 3 tests with one term paper, but as long as you show up and listen, you will walk out with a good grade. He is very approachable so you can ask him anything! If I could I would take his class again.

I just want to begin by saying that I had absolutely ZERO interest in politics before taking this class. I was dreading this class due to my minimal knowledge of anything politically related. Well, after taking Prof. Casper's Pol Sci 1 course last spring, I learned more than I ever thought imaginable. Amazing Professor. Easily the best there is.

Prof. Casper is hands down the best professor I've had. It's obvious he loves his students and political science. I was already interested in poli sci before taking his class, but am now certain I want to study it full time. There are weekly quizzes, three tests, and a term paper, all of which he gives clear instructions / study guides for.

Casper is in my top two professors I have ever taken at El Co. His lectures are informative and well taught. Easily the single most accessible professor outside of class you will ever have. He is always there to help you, night and day. He grades a little tough, but you have so many EC opportunities and rewrites that it doesnt even matter.

One of the best classes Ive take at Elco! Casper is one of those professors who genuinely cares for his students. I knew nothing about Poli Sci yet this was my favorite class. Exams were fairly easy since his lectures were so informative. He gave us a quiz every Tuesday and Thursday online. We were also give chapter summaries each Friday.

Every now and then get a professor that changes your perspective on a subject. Professor Casper totally changed my opinion on Political Science. He clearly has a passion for what he teaches and delivers his lectures in a relatable manner. His lectures can be long, but he keeps things entertaining and allows for open discussion. Loved his class.

Professor Casper is a great guy!!! He is funny and definitely knows how to keep the class interested in the lectures. His tests are hard though, but he knows it too. This professor was awesome, do the work, take notes, remember the amendments, and ask questions. The extra credit was awesome, it cots money to go the museum, but you can do a free one but have to write a paper. I highly recommend to going to the Nixon and Reagan museum when he goes, he is cool, no paper, plus he can show you around and all.

Professor Casper honestly tries to help his student fully understand the material. I thought I was going to hate his class because I hate politics & had a bad government teacher in high school. I took Professor Casper during the summer. He was one of the greatest professors I've ever had the chance of having. He is one of the sweetest most down to earth people ever. I thought that I would dread a government class, but he makes every lecture so inspiring with his passion for the subject. Def love him forever, he was THE BEST. <3

Professor Casper is by far my favorite professor in my college experience, he is hilarious but is also serious when it comes to material. He gives you all of the tools you need to pass his exams, just be sure to pay attention. He provided us with extra credit opportunities and is always available outside of class for questions. I was very pleased that he did not teach this curriculum with bias and taught it with a moderate point of view giving all students a broad generalization of politics. Professor Casper was great. He is funny and organized. I was nervous because I knew nothing about politics but he was able to help me get a better understanding. If you need help, he welcomes it and is more than happy to help. He will answer any question that you have and is very understanding. I highly suggest him. Beware of those pop quizzes ;)

At first, I was a little intimidated by him, but as the semester went on, he became more friendly. He genuinely cares about the well being of his students. Casper is such a cool Political Science professor. I walked in not knowing much about politics but now I have a better understanding. I am now aware politically thanks to him. Prof Casper cares about his students A LOT. His lecture style is fun and changes pace often which helps for the dryer parts of the course. All his exams are timed, online take-homes and a lot of the answers can be found on Quizlet. He drops the lowest exam and gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. Fun class and inspiring at times.

There were chapter reading guides for each test which were kinda a lot of work but daily prepared you for the exam. He has his exams (4) online and they were over weekends. Do the work and youll pass. Also, lots of extra credit.

This professor cares for his students although he lectures heavy they are very interesting keeping students interactive. There is a presentation done in the end about what you learned in class. Reading and discussion questions are assigned as homework make sure to do it and you'll be fine. (BY THE WAY HE LOVES CORGIS) lol

I'm genuinely surprised I saw a review that was less than 5 for Prof. Casper. He's so kind and his class is a walk in the park. You can tell he loves his students. His lectures are quite entertaining and go over literally everything on the exams, the chapter review assignments have unlimited tries, and then there are just a few discussion boards.

I took his class in Winter Session and would have loved to have taken a full semester with him. His love of teaching, desire to ground his students in how our government works and know our rights, and his overall incredible enthusiasm was infectious. He wants you to succeed, both in his class and as responsible citizens.

Professor Capser was amazing! Super awesome professor and loves the material he's teaching. He does talk fast but if you ask him to go back or slow down, he has no problem doing so. Professor caspers lectures are very entertaining and easy to take notes on. The chapter reading guides are very helpful for the unit exams that are very straightforward. Professor provides a lot of support for students. Overall the course had the right amount of demands from students nothing unfair or too easy.

Absolutely one of the most caring and easygoing professors ever. He is well known for just being kind and personable. His assignments are manageable, so I would recommend him if you need credits or need this class. Four exams and some discussion posts. One exam is dropped which technically means the class ends two weeks early. The best!

Unless you don't turn in the assignments, it is impossible to fail or not even get an A in this class. 2 free full-credit discussions, curve and give extensions to 2 papers, and easy to find extra credit on easy exams with helpful straightforward lectures. This is the most easiest class as long as you put in effort like participate, read his books (there will be a jeopardy which he does prior exams), and do his extra credit.
