He did not teach through thorough examples, his lectures are extremely fast-paced, he does not provide a lecture review before your midterm or final. The average of my class on the midterm exam was a 42. Do not take this professor, avoid him at all costs.

Fast lectures with bad examples, changed his grading policy (quizzes were originally to be for attendance, then he made them count toward your grade in the middle of the semester), and tests are impossible. Averages on exams were both low F's, no curve at all. This was his first and hopefully last time teaching this class. Avoid him at all costs!

This class was terrible, the other reviews show how bad it was, the lecture was just him solving problems fast while not explaining in depth what everything means, we rarely discussed anything about economics, to say this is a microeconomics class is false, this could just be considered calculus, since none of the exams were anything but math.

Do yourself a favor and don't take his class. If you need it for an HSA major, take ECON at Valencia transiently. He doesn't care about his students if they don't understand something or need an extension for something. You get graded on group work, and he chooses one person's paper and that's the grade you get. So much HW on Mc-Graw Hill too!

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I had NEVER in my life failed an exam until I took this professor. DO NOT take this class, there is so much work for very little credit, exams make up most of your grade and the tests are not easy at all. If you care about your GPA don't take this professor!! take the course transiently at Valencia instead.

This professor is horrendous and does a horrible job of making dry material interesting or digestible. His "practice exams" don't help as they don't give explanations on how to get the correct answers. You essentially have to teach yourself although his slides and textbook are just as bad. Just an all-around bad teacher/experience.

This class was so unbelievably hard. His lectures and homeworks do not prepare you for the test at all. The in class assignments are also very tough. Also, his wording on his tests make no sense and overall is just a very hard class.

This was one of the most frustrating things I've ever done in my entire life. Joshua Eubanks doesn't actually teach anything, you are expected to teach yourself Microeconomics (aka one of the hardest college courses). We met like 7 times and were given papers to do and never got them back so you never actually learn from your mistakes. 0/10.

This was the worst class I have taken so far in my college career. This professor does not teach at all and expects you to teach yourself everything. The class activities are super unfair, they're not graded individually and they are really hard for no reason. The course could have been easier but he makes it intentionally hard.

Professor is rude and shows no care for students. There is a lot of online work and only five in person classes where you get graded off of one persons paper randomly in your group. Tests are taken in the testing center. No extra credit

Not the nicest guy you will come across in your life, but I think he means well (I hope). Teacher is not a fan of helping students, his TA's are actually more of a teacher than him, so take that into consideration. Test's are moderately difficult with several assignments due every week. You will most likely have to teach yourself Microeconomics.

Professor Eubanks is a pretty bad professor. The in-class assignments could not be any worse. He sits you down with about 6 random people, for an assignment formatted completely different from the homework (uses only functions, but MAC1105 is not a pre-req for this class). ECO 2023 is not a hard class, he just makes it as difficult as he can.

No lectures, expects you to learn the material on your own. Doesn't care about what you may go through, isn't lenient at all even when it's something personal. Don't take if you can help it. The tests at the testing center are what really get you down.

This class had me doubting whether or not college was worth it. I only passed with a B+ bc I studied for DAYS for his makeup & final exam. The in class activites hit you the hardest bc you're stuck w random students to complete 3 extensive wks in 80 min; graded VRY harshly. Class is impossible & infuriating; you teach yourself. Do not take him.

Homework is very long and rigorous for no reason, not too difficult though. Tests are the bulk of your grade and only taken in the testing center. The worst part were the in-class activities, you are stuck with 4-5 strangers to do an assignment that can get difficult which could suck if your group doesn't know what to do or doesn't want to do.

This class was awful. I was on the verge of failing the majority of the time I was in it. I did not anticipate this class to be mostly online. His lectures were not good and it was very hard to teach most of the information to myself. I'm so glad I passed in the end but this is such a bad class. If you are not a math person, don't take it.

Micro and macro are weed out classes here at UCF. Material is overall pretty easy, but the class is structured very difficulty. All the active lab assignments are absolute Chinese and the homework is a drag to get done. Exams are unnecessarily hard and meant to trick you. It's one of those classes where you just somehow end up with a C regardless

Lectures are reiteration of textbook concepts and they are HEAVY! Multiple choice questions in the exam are some certain sentences in a ramdom page of the textbook that you'll never know. Homeworks are coding assignment that has nothing to do with the textbook and the class itself. You will never get feedback from your assignments and quizzes.

In-person activities were impossible to finish in time, as well as impossible to get better than a B or B+ on.

Treated a 6 week class like a normal length class. Tests were very difficult and were based on things he breezed through in class or were pulled from one of the hundreds of worked problems in the textbook. You would need to spend hours every day preparing to get an A in this class. Does not give any information about the tests, no study guides.

I have never taken a class structured this poorly before. Homework is easy but tedious, in-class group assignments are with random strangers, exams are misleading and not similar to the homework or class work. I have finished my AA with my lowest grade being a B and this class I'm fighting to keep a C. Take this class as a transient somewhere else.

2 tests in the entire class besides the final and he seems to love the fact that nobody ever gets a good grade on the second one (obviously a HIM problem). This is the only class that I'm scared of failing. TAs do EVERYTHING. He makes videos for the class but does not assign them or teach in class so you're left to figure it out alone.

Eubanks has to be the worst professor you will ever have the pleasure of "learning" from. If you are forced into micro with him, be ready for a course that has remained untouched for years, lacks proper guidance for the three essential exams that are worth 75% of your grade, no lectures, a professor with zero personal accountability, and 0 curves.

What stood out to me most was how he will intentionally make in class assignments so you can't finish them and he openly admits it to the whole class, even laughing about it with his TAs. I wish he would focus on teaching his students, he is a poor representation of UCF.

I would not wish this professor on my worst enemy. He is blatantly rude and gives very little study material for his 3 exams (the last one is cumulative). There is only 5 practice "self test" questions and a module outline that should have the same info as your notes. When asking questions about the final, he has been extremely unhelpful and RUDE.

Subject itself isn't that hard. HOWEVER, he doesn't care about students. He encouraged class multiple times to drop class. Shouldn't you encourage your students instead? Also, he marked me and a few students "absent" when we were on time to class. No study guide on final exam. If able to, take someone else. Although, not a lot of work though.

The start of the semester he says his Rate My Professor rating is inaccurate, but just can't admit that he is a bad professor. You will have to attend all his classes; he will never really explain anything and you will have to be forced to work with your chosen group. I wasn't too lucky because my group members wouldn't show up and we only got 70s in the class works. No extra credit, he won't round your grades, his videos are not helpful at all, and his EXAMS ARE HARD.

This man doesn't care about his students & he made this clear in the first class when he joked about students who had a friend pass or their house flood during the hurricane and how he told them "to just contact UCF Cares" because there is nothing he can do about it. His TAs do his entire job and all of his "lessons" are recordings from a year ago.

This guy is like a cartoon super villain. Doesn't care about his students and isn't very helpful like, at all. Don't take.

He is an extremely tough grader, particularly for the in-class assignments, but does not provide any kind of feedback for improvement. His class is an overall awful experience. If you stick to reading the chapters fully, reviewing and spending a good 3-5 hours studying a week, you'll be fine. If you have the option, opt for a different professor!

Once approached him after class with a question, and he stared at me like I had asked him to solve a quantum physics problem using only a paperclip. Whole class was taking a week to complete projects; when asked, he said it shouldn't take you more than a few hours to complete it. "this is a college course, it's supposed to be hard" is what he told us after the majority of the class failed the exam. Very unclear in what he expects from us. Should've dropped, GPA was hurt BAD.

This class is close to being hell on earth, I was very stressed the whole semester thinking I wouldn't get the credit for the course, extending my college career more than planned. UCF REAL business classes use prerecorded lecture videos to teach content, with 6 total class meetings to discuss/practice the content. This professor's online lectures are low effort useless garbage. This means that this class is essentially SELF-TAUGHT CALC 1 using a textbook and some of the textbook's own prerecorded videos. Avoid if possible

Unfortunately Eubanks is the only option for QMB 3003 at the moment so if you get cursed with him as a professor, i'm sorry. He is notorious for making mistakes in his lecture videos and his study guide sheets. He does not care for his students and is unqualified to be teaching this course. Be prepared to self-teach yourself for the semester.

Do not listen to the person in the 5 star review. The homework he gives does not match what is on the exam. The Panopto videos are no help at explaining how to actually use the formulas. When you ask a question in class, his response is always super vague and overall not helpful, he doesn't even make an effort. Studying for the exams doesn't help considering you have no idea what is going to be on there and what to expect, it's basically a surprise.

I am in his QMB 3003 class and i dont think im gonna pass lol. His in class activities and exams are all over the place and go over material ive never seen in his class yet. the textbook videos vs his videos also are very different. this class made me very sad and i simply don't recommend.

The tests do not relate to the homework at all. I study plenty and still fail the tests, with the class average being no higher than a 56% on his tests. I believe fall 2024 is his first semester teaching QMB, and hopefully he won't teach it for much longer. He speaks in riddles whenever you ask for help and he doesn't let his TA's help either.

This class really frustrating to take and he is the only professor teaching it, unfortunately. I just don't think teaching is his calling. I took him for micro as well. The QMB exams/homework/quizzes/self-tests all just did NOT align & that's what made the class so frustrating. The exams were not the worst.. would be nice to study the same material

This dude honestly doesn't care about teaching. Every time my group met up in person we had to learn as we went through the work because the in-class assignment would be nothing like the homework we were given. It was almost as if the professor made concepts that are pretty easy when you think about it, harder by just being involved in teaching it.

This guy might be the worst professor I have ever had. His videos that he always refers to if someone asks him a question are unwatchable. He is speaking to the viewer as if they are a genius, and already knows everything about the class. He barely gives review for the exam and the reviews do not even cover everything that would be on the exam.

Despite spending countless hours studying, I felt completely unprepared for exams. Professor was super arrogant.I originally took this class with Nora Underwood and she was a saint compared to this professor. He would not allow his TA's to tell us what we did wrong in the in class assignments. Underwood's class only has 3 exams and she allowed her TA's to help us. Also TA with long hair is a creep he touched my arm for no reason.

Had to use ChatGPT to teach me how to solve certain equations because Professor would make so many mistakes on the videos and study guides. Get ready to have ChatGPT as your professor instead.

This is probably the worst professor I have ever had. He does not help you, the TAs do not help you, and most importantly, NONE of the material aligns with the exams. Not the homework, and definitely NOT the impossible in class assignments. I recommend taking the other route to complete this credit at UCF as long as he is teaching this course.

Professosr Eubanks', confusing videos, unnecessary assignments, and COMPLETELY misaligned exams made the course frustrating. Many "interactive assignments" penalized grades with no benefit, and exams didn't match class materials. I only passed because I was taking finance and microeconomics as well as this.

Do not be fooled by my grade or people who say “he is just a fair grader.” Most people in this class only did well because it is on a point based system. I'm sorry, but if the practice material does NOT match his inclass assignments or tests, thats NOT him being a “fair” teacher. I shouldn't have to go on a witch hunt to find proper material.

I had 0 calculus knowledge, but my advice would be trying to get 100% on every homework, quiz, and IA assignments. I failed 3/4 exams in this class but the only reason I passed is because I got an 85% on the financial math exam which I found super easy. If you're bad at calculus or complex math, do good on the financial exam and you're set.

There is no use of this professor in this class. You have to do all the things by yourself. The in-person class meetings are not of any use. There will be no lectures or teachings. He will simply come to class give you a question sheet to practice, something which he never thought. He might be knowledgeable but will not practice his knowledge.

Videos for the course couldn't be more irrelevant to the tests, you'll teach yourself the entirety of the class through the homework software. Being a "REAL" format professor is extremely easy but the singular task of producing good instructional videos was botched. Sleepless nights for exams, way more effort than should be exerted for this class.

AVOID AT ALL COST. DO NOT TAKE HIM. He is the type of professor who speaks the whole class and nothing he explains would be on the test plus attendance is mandatory so make your assumptions. I have gotten A's and B's throughout different classes and I understand that some classes are a lot more difficult than others, but this class was awful, so bad I had to drop out. You are teaching yourself the material provided which at the end of the day is a waste of time because the test is completely different than what is provided.

Professor Eubanks is one of the worst professors I have come across. I hope his demeanor has changed but when I took him, he consistently showed no empathy nor humility. REAL course wise, he gets the job done, but I am shocked that UCF would hire someone like himself in an effort to save money. TAs are a joke too. Do better UCF!

The professor was awful for this class. Be prepared to teach yourself if you aren't willing to reach out to fellow classmates for help. Even they were struggling. The group assignments made sense for the most part but the tests were not it.

Do not take this professor he wants you to fail and thinks youre just stupid if you cant do well in this class but its extremely hard, tests are not based off what is taught, pearson homework is so far from whatever he is teaching, you go to class and do a homework problem that isnt even based off anything youve learned. I wouldn't recommend if math is your weaker subject. You will be teaching yourself, and his videos are unhelpful and all over the place. Tests are confusing and the HW barely correlates with the test. He also makes it clear that he doesn't "give" grades, he reports them, so don't expect grace when you miss class or an assignment or need extra help.

Does not teach (videos are only conceptual) and the practice problems barely correlate with the exam. Even if it is a REAL course he should still teach the math not leaving us to learn calculus by ourself when most of the students have never even done calculus before.

In all honesty, the professor is exceptionally poor in teaching. All assignments are conducted on Pearson, and in-class assignments are significantly inferior to the homework assignments. In fact, most in-class assignments can be completed without difficulty. Therefore, it is unrealistic to expect a high score on class assignments.

The tests always include some questions that were never once in the homework or class activities. Im surprised he still has a job, truly an unbearable class. UCF do better.

The ALL sessions are unreasonably hard and do not cover what you are learning. Don't bother watching his lecture videos, they aren't helpful at all. You basically have to learn everything through pearson but it still doesn't prepare you for the exams. You can pass with a decent grade if you study the your turn questions but it is not a good time.

Literally one of the worst profs i have ever taken. The class is very calculus-heavy and does very little to teach and help students. His practice questions vary widely from what's actually on exams, there is a lot of homework you must do, which do not help as it is all on Pearson. thats who "teaches" the videos on pearson

Dont waste your time watching the lectures, and be prepared to spend plenty of time answering questions that have nothing to do with what's on the test. If you study the your turns and make sure to do all your homework, you can flunk 2/4 of the tests and be fine. The first two exams will be your saving grace, dont slack.

He makes videos for each module but don't even bother watching them, they have literally nothing to do with the homework. And the homework has nothing to do with the in class assignments. This class is a grind seriously. Very little info to study for the exam and you have to hope that the concepts from the your turns will show up on the exam despite exam questions being worded way different. Easy C very hard A. During the "ALLs" he never went around to answer questions until the final ALL. No study guides for exams. Fend for urself.

I took it during the summer, so the class was three times as fast. However, the rating speaks for itself with how out of touch he is with his students. Formulas are posted on every exam so don't stress too much on remembering them, but you need to know when to use them. My only real advice for this class is to be on top of your homework.

Hard to call a professor when he rarely teaches. 90% of class is self taught while other 10% is help from TA's and people you are grouped with. Should get a decent grade if you study but the professor makes it so much more difficult than it needs to be.

WORST PROFESSOR IN THE COLLEGE OF BUSINESS. DO NOT TAKE HIM. Doesn't know the lecture, doesn't know what he's talking about, reads off his sheets of paper while teaching, if you ask him a question he doesn't know. 3 exams and 2 projects. THATS IT. Exams are terrible and nothing like study guide. As an A student, never felt this lost in a course.

Gives no study guides for the test and are majority percentage of your grade. The homework material does not relate to tests. The class is all self taught and for class meetings it's strictly group work and no formal teaching.

Im a 4.0 student, his QMB 3003 class is the first class I ever gotten a 60 on a test. Terrible teacher doesn't teach, the stuff you do in class is different on the HW is different than his notes is different than what's on the test.

He is such a jerk he is the worse UCF please get rid of him for my personal sanity it is fleeting and gone. This class has taken years off my life. Please help me and end all of these students suffering this is not fair. His tests are so hard.

I cry after every tests.I spent a whole week to prepare for the test and got a 60 back :) be ready with his unclear answers. for example, if you ask him if this part is gonna include in the test or not, he will answer "if possible", so you have to focus on it, study more and yeah, it not in the test, you waste your time for useless thing.

Avoid this class if you can, you will have to teach yourself everything. I even got in touch with his supervisor Mark Dickie and he claimed that we must take advantage of the “materials” provided for us in the course. There is no “materials” that we can even depend on to teach us, instead we have to use outside sources. UCF is a scam.

I'm having a really hard time learning in this class because the professor doesn't actually teach. The videos provided are poorly made, unclear, and hard to follow. It feels like there's very little effort put into explaining the material, which makes it frustrating and discouraging to try and keep up. I genuinely want to understand the subject.

Lectures videos are disorganized and often unclear, with key concepts rushed or skipped entirely. Communication is slow, feedback is minimal, and expectations shift without notice. It made learning the material far harder than it needed to be. Office hours felt unhelpful and questions were brushed off. Fs has a god complex regarding himself.

If you can somehow avoid this class, do it by any means necessary. This class would've been much easier if Professor Eubanks was simply just a better teacher or even if he was a better person in general. Group assignments are extremely hard for no reason. Group projects, homework, notes, and video lessons don't align with exams. RUN AWAY FROM HIM!!

The structure of the class is very poor, unlike other class the materials given are super vague and not super helpful. The only material given to help study are the “ your turns” but if you need help with any sort of explanation just go to youtube because his videos don't help at all.

To give an accurate representation of this class, I will list a few things I would rather do than take his class: I would rather walk through the Gobi Desert with no water, I would rather be on the frontlines in the Battle of Normandy, I would rather be in Pompeii when the volcano erupted. I would rather fight a lion in the Roman Colosseum

The professor seems like a good genuine person however, as much as I hate to say it, he is awful but it's also due to the format of the class. The videos are terrible, not clear, all over the place. He doesn't provide a structure at all which is what most people ask for, especially when you have to study by yourself. Do your turns over and over.

This professor provided absolutely zero resources for studying for the exam besides the YourTurns. As a REAL format class, the least he could do it provide a study guide. Very homework heavy class for a class that has practically nothing to do with the homework.

Not sure how I even passed this class. In class assignments and homework are nothing like the test. The exams are tough but the final is cumulative are questions are from previous exams so you basically have already seen every question for the final. Good luck and make time for this class.
