If you take very good notes during class and do all of the hw and look at old chem tests from other 351 chem professors you will get an A. His first two tests were not that bad. However, the ave on his 3 test was in the 50% (aweful). The questions on test 3 came from outer space (you have been warned).
The tests weren't bad at all. They were patterned after the quizzes. He explains things pretty much straight from the book. If you read, go to class, and ask questions, you should have no problem getting an A.
Dr. Price was great. He shows genuine concern for his students and really wants them to under the material. Ochem is a beast of a class and you just have to accept that. Dr. Price does an amazing job teaching it and is fair. His lectures are clear and you can really get by on just his class notes. However, doing the optional homework helps a TON.
I heard that Organic Chemistry at BYU would be one of the most difficult classes of my student experience, but he made it in a very clear and understandable way. I'm a recently returned RM, and he made it possible for me. He taught us how to look for the "why" behind the reactions, which meant that I didn't need to memorize as much. I enjoyed it.
Dr. Price is one of the best professors I have ever had. Even though I wasn't super involved in class or in his office hours he knew my name and was always willing to help. I would argue that he is the best OChem professor at BYU.
Coming from someone who stinks at chem, TAKE DR PRICE! He took things that were hard and explained them in a way that made them easy. His hw assignments each week are excellent test prep, and if you understand how to do them, you will do great on the tests. he knows everyones names, and if you go to his office, there is nothing he wont help with!
Dr. Price is a great guy. The first couple of tests were not to bad, but then when it gets to reactions, he goes way to fast for anyone to actually follow unless you already know the stuff...which I didn't, so it was pretty rough closer to the end. Overall, OChem is just a hard topic, but he is a good professor to take it from.
Dr. Price is by far the best teacher Ive had at BYU. Never felt that he underprepared his students for his test's. The average grade in my class right now is a 76% which is pretty good. HW asg. are very helpful and prep. you well for the test's. The 3rd test is alot of memorization. GREAT TEACHER!!!
Dr. Price is a great Ochem teacher. Teaches you everything you need to know in class - no trickery. His handouts he gives out are very helpful. Reading the book, going to class and lab also makes the class a lot easier. Dr. Price is one of the best, if not the best, ochem teachers.
Loved Price. Im not a chem genius but Dr. Price really made this subject easy to understand. I didn't pick up the text book hardly ever. I recorded his lectures and listen to them and did the HW. That led me to get an A on ever test. That just goes to show that there is nothing that will show up on the test that he wont go over in class.
Dr. Price is the best Ochem teacher at BYU. He didn't teach second semester, and I took it from another professor. Ochem is hard, but this is my favorite teacher to take it from.
Fantastic teacher. Ochem is tough, but I felt Dr. Price was very fair and straightforward. Do the book problems, problem sets, and test reviews and you will do well.
I like Dr. Price. He works hard, is super friendly and his homework assignments are helpful. BUT his class is getting insane. Test 3 is impossible, he needs to split it up. Don't be fooled this is not an easy class and while his test average is higher tha other classes, there is virtually no curve and you might easily end up with a lower score.
Dr. Price is the best professor on campus for Organic Chemistry! His teaching style is very concise and he clearly defines his expectations and tricks. Take o. chem from him!
Price is the best chem teacher I've ever had. He explains things super clearly and his tests are straightforward, but difficult. There are HW assignments due every class, but if you do them, you won't have to study a ton more to keep up with the class. I would definitely take this class from Price again.
Dr. Price is the man. He is super helpful. He requires that you do a study guide for each lecture but if you were to only do the study guides and not attend you could still easily understand the material.
Dr. Price does an amazing job at making a complicated subject easier to understand and predict. This class is not easy but his mandatory daily study guide make studying for the test less stressful and easier to understand. He is willing to talk with you and help if you are struggling.
Here is the thing. Dr. Price is great. Good teacher, nice guy. BUT if he is unhappy that the class average is too high, he will set you up to fail. Don't take 352 from him the final will kill you!
Dr. Price was a great professor for 351 but 352 was horrible. The class was disorganized and we were held to a different standard than other 352 courses.
Dr. Price is a great teacher. I loved the way he presented the material. Ochem is tough as it is, but Dr. Price was able to explain the concepts in ways I understood. Great teacher!
Great teacher, pretty clear. Had a good grade up until the final, but he needed to lower the class average so... BOOM impossible final. All we knew all semester was that we had to take the ACS standardized test as the final. He didn't tell anyone he was going to write his own portion (worth the same amount as the ACS) until a couple days before.
Dr Price pushes his students. You will get a lot more out of the course than you would for other teachers, but there is a price to pay. More difficult, twice the workload, twice the material, twice the time. The amount of effort that would get you an A with Savage, Castle, or Andrus will only get you a B with Price.
This class is lots of work but is the easiest 352 class you'll take because he teaches so well and preps you well for his midterms. The final was harder than I think Dr Price meant it to be but it was doable. Between his portion and the ACS test the Average was still a 70% overall which isn't terrible for an O-chem final. Dr Price is awesome.
Mandatory daily study guides are exhausting and long and require many hours but they really help prepare you for the exams. Exams are very difficult; make sure you go through the practice exams multiple times in preparation. LOTS of memorization for these courses! Dr Price is a fantastic lecturer and I would recommend him. ochem is just hard :(
Dr. Price will give more work than any other professor and expect more from you. But you come out knowing Ochem like the back of your hand. It's difficult, but it's doable if you put in the effort. Thanks to Dr. Price, the Ochem on my MCAT was a piece of cake.
Great professor for this subject I would HIGHLY recommend taking his class. His lectures are organized and very open to questions. The HW Practice Tests do, in fact, prepare you for the exams. THERE ARE NO SURPRISES. Yes, Organic Chemistry is a hard class. And Dr. Price is a professor that makes it clear and manageable.
He makes sure that you come out of his class an Ochem master. That being said, to do that he assigns you more homework than any other teacher I've ever had. His class took up half of my studying hours (and that was while taking genetics, anatomy, and the ochem lab). He piles on the assignments... Great guy, good at lecturing, but super difficult.
The first three units were about what you'd expect from ochem. Memorizing a bunch of mechanisms, theory, etc. The last midterm (biochemistry) was a nightmare. Memorizing every mechanistic stepenzymeetc from Glycoloysis, Kreb's, protein synthesis, cholesterol synthesis, and lipid metabolism. Construction of helices, every amino acid structure etc
Dr. Price is a really cool person, and his lectures are generally pretty clear. But, there's an insane amount of homework, and tests end up being about 90% of the final grade. Also, there's basically no curve in the class (it ends up being about 1%). If I had to take it again, I probably would take a different professor.
Organic chemistry is a tough subject but Dr. Price makes it so much better. He is clear in the way he teaches, in his grading, and on his tests. Nothing comes out of left field on his exams so you know what to expect. Do the homework and don't get behind and you will do very well in this class.
The comments about the biochemistry portion of the class are true!!! The last exam is all biochemistry and it's overwhelming how much you have to memorize (also it is quite useless). I would add that this term he started letting people drop one of the five exams and they aren't comprehensive (mostly) which I really liked.
I took 351 from Savage, and 352 from Price, and the difference was night and day. Price is superior at communicating lecture materials, helping students during office hours, providing reasonable exams, preparing you for the MCAT, explaining difficult content, and offering fair expectations for what you need to know.
Great teacher! do the study guides and you are prepared very well for the tests I was able to average about 98% for all his tests and he lets you drop one so if you do well you don't have to take the final. The test do get harder throughout the semester so make sure you ace the first few and you will be set! Take it from price you will love it!
Great teacher, wish I had taken 351 from him. I did way better in 352 and the concepts are much harder. He explains things very well and its pretty clear what will be on his tests. His tests are still very tough, especially synthesis questions, but do-able. i went in to talk about tests in his office and always got points back. Nice guy.
He is great and the class is super easy if you know the reaction. Easy A for anyone.
OK great professor, and lets you drop a test (including the final). The secrete to doing well is acing the first few tests. every test get progressively harder so it is unlikely you will improve on the final. treat every test like you would the final and you will be fine. you want to avoid the final at all costs. otherwise not too bad!
Dr Price is the best Ochem teacher. He's clear about what will be on the test. Learn to do synthesis. If you're at the failing end of the grade pool the curve will help you out a ton. Keep at it, you can pass. All that he writes in class he posts. So take notes and go over his notes that are posted.
Dr. Price is very clear about what to expect for the tests (for a science teacher at least). His synthesis questions were hard but the rest of the test was pretty straightforward. The slides are very helpful in preparing for the test as well as his study guides. He is very straightforward for an ochem teacher!
There is a synthesis question at the end of each test that is worth like 25% of the grade. I did poorly on these despite scoring well on everything else. He was my favorite CHEM professor yet, although I don't love my grade. There was quite a bit of homework but it could have been much worse for a CHEM class.
Bitter, burned-out, or just routinely fulfilling BYU Chemistry Department expectations? Dislikes pre-meds, although he teaches few else - so, dislikes students in general. Sigh, one class where "hide-the-ball" teaching and tricky testing displaces real learning and grade by merit
Couldn't disagree more with the previous comment. Dr Price has been my favorite science professor so far. He teaches simply and at a manageable pace. For someone who doesn't LOVE science, I loved learning from Dr Price. He gives you every resource to succeed.
Amazing lectures, great professor. Definitely would recommend to anyone because I loved his class outline. If you miss class, he posts all lectures audio recordings on learning suite and homework is studying and working problems before the next lecture. Practice exams are crucial to doing well on the exams. Study those a lot!!
Dr. Price was a great O chem professor I took both 351 and 352 from him. He gives study guides of the material that will be covered in class. Basically all of your grade comes from exams but if you study you'll do fine on the tests.
Took both 351 and 352 from Dr. Price and he is great! All grades come from tests with a small cushion of "homework" . Great at explaining this difficult subject and he encourages students to come to his office hours. His lectures aren't dry and he can be funny. Keep up with the material, study regularly, and you'll do fine.
DEFINITELY take 351 winter, then 352 fall. I struggled with Castle in 351, then had to drop 352. Too much HW which didn't pay off on tests. Price is funnier, doesn't use the chalk board, and doesn't regurgitate a textbook. He drops an entire test so I didn't even take the final! WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING HE SAYS and you'll ace the tests/class
The most straightforward chem professor I've had (& I've taken 6 chem classes at BYU). Gives mandatory study guides before class. Lets you drop a test, so I didn't even take the final! Clear tests, not meant to trick you. He records each lecture so you can go back and watch. No iclicker. Seriously, you're making a mistake if you don't choose him!
AMAZING lecturer. Really though, he has very well planned lessons that have a clear, easy-to-follow flow. He posts his lectures on learning suite using notability after each class. He lets you drop one of the tests, including the final. Not taking the final was the coolest thing ever. Best Chem teacher.
Dr. Price is the best professor to take a chemistry class from. I had to miss class every Friday, but he records his lectures on notability so you can access them afterwards. He draws everything out on notability, instead of using lecture slides, which is such a great way to teach Organic Chemistry. His tests were all fair. I loved his class.
Dr. Price is the best teacher I've had at BYU so far. He knows his stuff and teaches at a good pace. The nature of the course does require you spend a lot of the time with the material to be successful--so plan your class schedule accordingly. Would recommend taking both 351 & 352 with him.
I took OChem from Dr. Price and it was one of my absolute favorite classes I have taken at BYU. Dr. Price uses an app called Notability and is illustrating his lecture in real time as he voices it. The difference this makes is monumental, he's not just clicking through slides all willy nilly. Amazing professor. 1st time that I have ever loved chem.
OChem is not bad with Dr. Price! Thorough, intelligent, and witty. He made the subject exciting, to the point where I was excited to go to class and learn. Take notes in class and ask questions, he is super helpful! Class is test heavy, but its not bad as long as you put in adequate work! One of the best professors here at BYU!
Its a really hard class, but Dr. Price does the best he can to help. Lectures arent essential, but hes funny and really good about answering questions. Multiple choice exams, but dont be fooled, they are hard. Very accessible for help. Solid choice.
Dr. Price's class is one where it is super hard, but totally doable. His tests really require that you know the material, but if you do then you shouldn't have any trouble getting A's. He is super funny in class, will give you points back on a test, and is eager to help you in any way possible! He is a great teacher!
Tests are worth a lot, AMAZING LECTURER
Dr. Price is one of the best professors I've ever had. He is hilarious, caring, entertaining, and he will drop anything to help a student. I cannot emphasize how awesome he is. His class is really hard, but he is absolutely amazing and makes the class.
One of my favorite professors! His lectures are always enjoyable, and he is very willing to answer questions. He cares about his students. He lets you be very independent, which I really like. If you use the study guides he gives and make sure you understand the material, you'll be fine on the tests.
Dr. Price is a fun teacher who knows his stuff and is willing to help. Its a really hard class, and it takes a lot of time to learn, but he does his best to help. Lectures are recorded and posted online.
I am not an A student and have struggled through organic chemistry. Dr. Price made my experience less painful and fearful. He explained concepts with examples and took the time to answer any questions you have. I was certain I wasn't going to pass but passed with a low C. I owe my passing OChem to him.
Professor Price is very smart and speaks quickly when he is passion about the topic. His ideas are usually novel, logical and instructive. He knows a lot of things. And he is also good at listening. Overall, I think he is a very good professor who can provide students with pleasant class experience and feast of thinking.
I love Dr. Price so much. Probably one of the most effective professors in lecture I have ever seen. He has a way about understanding students and their questions and responding well. He's a genuine, stand-up guy,who really makes you feel valued and noticed. Don't get me wrong -- you'll have to work in this class, but he makes expectations clear.
Wow, there is so much I could say about Dr. Price. He teaches in a way that I was able to understand and organizes the material and coursework/assignments so well. I failed exams in Chem351 with Castle but in Chem352 with Dr. Price I got A's on each exam so far. His study guides and practice tests are so great!!
Organic Chemistry is ridiculously hard regardless of Professor. However, Dr. Price is the best choice at BYU. He tries his best to make his expectations clear and creates personalized study guide for each chapter. He uses these to make his tests. Always willing to help during office hours. Really solid choice for OChem if its not your thing.
Dr Price is a great guy. O Chem 2 is very different, but he doesn't make you learn a lot of pointless things. The class got significantly harder when we went online, but overall Dr Price is a very good choice for O Chem. I don't think I learned as much as from Dr Castle, but the class was also a lot easier! 85% of your grade from tests. He's funny!
Easiest Ochem professor at BYU!! His test are short and all multiple choice. He made 352 WAY easier than 351!
Dr. Price is amazing in lecture. He does a great job explaining concepts in understandable ways. OChem started to make sense. He posts lectures and audio. He is very relaxed about the material and class in general and it makes the class feel less stressful. The tests are pretty much the entire grade and but they weren't hard if you studied a lot.
I loved being in Dr. Price's class. He is a phenomenal professor with a real gift for teaching in lecture. He's great at answering questions and helping things move along. Organic chemistry is a hard class, but Dr. Price makes sure you feel like you're not left behind. Be diligent and put in the time studying, and the lectures will make sense.
Dr. Price is a chill ochem prof. He has clear criteria but the tests are only about 20 questions and makes you apply the concepts. They can be really tricky even if you know the mechanisms and rxns. Your grade is basically combination of the tests. He is a solid choice if you are someone who doesn't want to put in a ton of work but need the class.
I loved having Dr. Price as a professor. He was down-to-earth, helpful, and responsive to student feedback and concerns. He excels at answering student questions thoroughly and making each moment a solid teaching opportunity. Great teaching philosophy and class organization. He wants you to succeed!
Dr. Price is the best chemistry professor I have ever had. I passed with a B, but that was because I had 4 tests in a week, and the one in this class just happened to be the one at the tail end of that week. He teaches clearly, and is more than willing to explain and re-explain any concept you don't understand. O chem is now my favorite chem class.
Sounds like Nicolas Cage, gets distracted easily (in a good way), and doodles on his lecture notes. What more do you need for OChem?
Best Chem professor I've ever had. Go to lecture and do his study guides thoroughly and getting an A is pretty straight forward. He focuses more on understanding concepts than memorization, which I appreciated!
Dr. Price is hands down the best Chemistry professor I've had. I didnt do to hot in Gen chem 1 and 2 but he organizes his class well enough that if you read his study guides and do practice problems you are basically set for the class. He keeps class entertaining with funny comments and does not care for you to memorize random material.
I heard so many horror stories about OCHEM, but Dr. Price made it manageable. He was great at explaining concepts and preparing us for the exams. It is still OCHEM so it's going to be hard, but Dr. Price was great. Only bad thing is that 85% of your grade will be tests. Overall much more enjoyable than I thought it would be.
Dr. Price is super nice and understanding and absolutely loves Organic Chemistry. He is also funny and cares about doing his job well. He is so smart and knowledgeable that (rarely) we get in over our heads, but he is good about teaching what is most important. Just get ready to work and dont get behind. This class sucks if you get behind
Amazing Ochem Professor! The lectures were engaging. He felt very personal. Did a great job teaching concepts well! Gives awesome study guides that are very helpful. Your grades are pretty much your tests though.
He's a huge nerd, but in a good way. His lectures were easy to follow and it made understanding the concepts a lot easier. He is exceptional at drawing 3D molecules on a 2D plane, so that helped a lot with stereochemistry.
If you have to take Organic Chemistry, take it from Prof. Price. His lectures are engaging, he is excellent at explaining material, and is very available for help outside of class. It's not an easy class, but he makes it very manageable. He made CHEM 351 an overall great experience.
Dr. Price is great. He explains things very well and cares that his students understand the material. I love his sense of humor too and his stories helped keep lectures interesting. 10/10
OChem is hard, and nothing is going to change that. However, Dr. Price is the literal best. His lectures are ridiculously entertaining. He truly cares for his students and just wants you to learn. Tests were open book, open note, and open internet, BUT they are hard. You definitely have to know what you're doing to do well. Dr. Price is the man.
Nearly everything is based on the 4 tests throughout the year. Assignments are long and in-depth, but only worth 5 points each. Essential, though, to really mastering OChem. Price is hilarious and very clear when he teaches. All open notes, open book, open internet, but that makes the material that much harder. Really tests MASTERY not memorization
If you're taking OCHEM, then get ready to sell your soul if you want a good grade. At least Dr. Price makes it possible to succeed through his phenomenal teaching skills and clarity in explaining hard concepts.
Dr. Price is a good human and very understanding that students are busy. He cuts out the bs which is appreciated as a pre-med student. He taught way more than necessary and his tests were extremely difficult. Half the class failed the first exam and the final. He was often distracted and scattered in lessons, but did post recordings which is nice.
Ochem will be tough no matter who the professor, but Dr. Price is a great choice. He explains concepts well, and he is very thorough and careful when he answers your questions. His tests are tough, but all multiple choice, and if you do his study guides and practice tests, they are doable. Dr. Price is funny and easy going, good lecturer.
Dr. Price is a good guy and hilarious. People on here say his tests were super hard but I honestly didn't think they were that bad. The final was pretty hard, but the other tests were a breeze compared to the ones I took in 351. I honestly put a lot less effort into this class than I did in ochem 1 and I still got a better grade. Not too stressful.
I liked Dr. Price better than Dr. Castle. The easy stuff was way easier than 351, but the hard stuff was insane, so it kinda balanced out. Most of the class failed the first exam and the final- study hard for those! The tests are all multiple choice. The study guides and practice tests were nice, but I wish I had rewatched the lectures more.
Dr. Price did a really great job teaching the material. The end of the class felt a little bit rushed so that we could cover the material on his exam (not the ACS). His lectures were usually pretty easy to follow and he records them all and posts them along which his notes, which was really helpful. A really good professor.
Dr. Price was an amazing and chill teacher. He would get off-topic quite often but it provided nice breaks in the often difficult material. He is so funny and the tests were very easy to prepare for if you took the practice exam that he provides. The class was curved too. He really is the best!!
Dr. Price is a fun lecturer, but his teaching is awful. There is no homework, so the time commitment is low and flexible. Tests are difficult and you never know what material will be covered. He covers twice as much material as other professors and goes into depth on material the textbook doesn't cover.
I really loved Dr. Price! Ochem is naturally a hard class, but he's a great guy and you can tell he wants you to succeed. He's also pretty entertaining. He records his lectures so it's not a big deal to miss class, and tests are hard but they're all multiple choice and reflect how much you studied. Focus on the study guides and put in the work!
His lectures aren't the most productive so I tended to watch them at 2x speed the next day (sometimes). His class is structured super well though. The study guides are super helpful and tests are fair. I felt like it was very possible to succeed in the class. He's also a nice guy and makes lecture interesting. Will take CHEM 352 with him too!
Dr. Price is one of the best professors in the department. He is good at explaining difficult concepts and he posts his lectures up on youtube afterwards which is very nice. That being said, he is EXTREMELY smart and somewhat obsessed with writing tests that are extremely difficult. He also goes into more depth than I believe is necessary.
Dr. Price is the best professor I have had at BYU. Organic chemistry is not an easy subject, and he expects a lot from students. That being said, Dr. Price gives you every tool you need to succeed from detailed study guides to test reviews. His lectures are very easy to follow if you do the work he assigned.
Took his ochem2 class during spring semester so it was pretty accelerated. Even then, it still felt easier than ochem1 during a normal semester, thanks to his clear slides/lectures. Tests are worth 85% of your grade so it's important to understand the material but study the problem sets and study guides and you'll be set.
After Dr. Castle scared me into withdrawing (if you're considering him, don't), I retook the class with Dr. Price and loved it. He's a genuinely caring professor who makes the material accessible and easy to understand. His tests aren't too bad and he gives you great study guides and practice exams that will leave you prepared. Best option at BYU.
Dr. Price is great. Organic chemistry is complex and his tests are difficult, but he has a very organized class and gives you everything you need to do well. I think he is the best lecturer I've had at BYU--he isn't the most engaging, but he is very productive, clear, and intelligent. He also records every lecture with high-quality video and audio.
Super clear-cut class. He graded based on 4 tests (85% of grade total) and a few on-your-own study guides/practice exams. Mostly self-guided, learn the study guides well, pay attention in lecture, do the practice tests, and you will be 100% prepared. He occasionally puts things from lecture on tests, such as "which molecule smells like bananas?"
If you put in the effort you can get A's in both 351 and 2 with him easily, just requires lots of self-discipline to do all of the assigned reading and practice problems and more. Best ochem professor in the dept.
Fantastic professor for such a hard class. Teaches in a REALLY clear and organized manner. His dry sense of humor was also hilarious. Records all lectures and gives fantastic "study guides" for using the textbook. If you pay attention in class, do the study guides and practice exams, you will be prepared for the tests (85% of your grade).
had jp for both 351 and 351 (taken during spring term). ochem is tough, but it doesn't get any better anywhere than with dr. price. based professor
I am so glad I had Dr. P for Ochem 2. His goal is for you to master the material and your grade will reflect that. This does mean this class does take time and effort, but it is doable and he breaks down big concepts in an easy to understand way. Biggest tip: go to lectures, get ahead on the study guides and problem sets and ask questions!
Best professor at teaching hard concepts! He is very meticulous and explicit in lecture. He doesn't waste times on things that don't apply to the tests. 85% of your grade is exams, but he prepares you very well for the exams. Homework is self reported.
Explains things very clearly and is an all around great dude. Definitely recommend if you are taking organic chemistry
Great professor that does a great job explaining hard material. He goes fast in class and the content seems like a ton but he posts his lecture notes and videos. Best advice is know the lecture notes well going into exams and you should be good. The exams were very fair and reflected the lecture notes well. Barely used the textbook but it helps.
Dr. Price is a great professor. His grading policy is set up to give you multiple chances at the best grade possible (the final exam can replace your grade in the class). Ochem is hard and requires a lot of time and dedication, but you can be successful with a professor like Dr. Price.
Great professor! Gives you so many ways to succeed, for example, your final can replace your entire grade. Clear and helpful lectures, which he does with his iPad. And, he posts them all on his YouTube channel. It's a really hard class, but taking it from him is your best chance!
I'm not sure why he's rated so highly. He did his job, but I didn't feel well prepared for exams. I appreciated the flexibility of his recorded lectures. OChem is hard by nature, but his course felt unnecessarily difficult. His grading policy, replacing earlier scores with your final, was a major plus.
Definitely one of the hardest classes I have taken at BYU, but I learned to much. His grading allows you to have more chances if you mess up, but your entire grade is pretty much based on exams. He talks really fast and goes over everything really quickly. Rewatch his lectures on YouTube to get a better understanding. It makes a world of difference
Dr. Price is phenomenal. He's the only ochem professor you should take from. The class is hard regardless of the professor, but his lectures help a ton. The class is designed to rely a lot on your own effort though; there's a study guide that ranges from 5-15 pages each week. If you don't do the study guides, you won't succeed. Super well organized
He is hilarious and an excellent teacher. The class is still really hard but he is the man for the job.
He is an awesome professor. He knows what he is talking about and teaches in a very clear way. His exams are pretty difficult and your grade is dependent on them. However, he adequately prepares you for the exams so you can be ready for them. He is super nice and is very helpful if you have issues or concerns.
He's a good professor. The class is hard. If you do not do your homework you WILL fail.
He knows his chemistry and explains it well. His study guides and problem sets are extremely helpful. Ochem is hard so if you want an A you have to put in hours consistently before and after every lecture but it is very doable. You will need to know the in and outs of everything for tests so prepare well. Dr. Price is honestly a wonderful professor
