Professor Rock is a nice guy with poor lecturing skills. His power points are poorly made and he doesn't do a great job of explaining the content on them - often going on tangents and taking up a lot of class time to discuss inconsequential information. However, his TA's are THE BEST. Seriously the most brilliant, dedicated people ever.

Rock was the best professor I have ever had! He knows his material and has real life experience with it- he is funny and engaging in lecture. His tests are specific, you really have to do the readings and go to class, but the class is curved at the end. He is so funny and nice and actually takes the time to try and learn all of his student's names.

This course was more difficult than I expected. Prof. Rock was a very entertaining and compelling professor but the test often had questions on small details that might not be caught even by someone actively participating in class. Study very hard for exams and don't expect a top grade on the group project.

You will definitely learn in Rock's class, but your GPA will take a hit. This is an "Intro-to" course, and in retrospect I would have taken another professor that doesn't A) Cram all the info you learn during the semester into 2 exams, B) Provide no feedback on major projectstests. A professor that has 2 failing averages on exams isnt worth taking
