Professor Watson is absolutely amazing!! He truly cares about his students and he is always looking for feedback from his students on things he could improve on but I couldn't think of a single thing that needs improvement. He's very understanding and it always willing to help. Class was a breeze!!

Professor Watson is by far one of the greatest professors at Brightpoint, I personally this semester have been struggling a lot but he never gave up and really gave me the push to keep trying even if something I wrote wasn't good or if I did something wrong, to learn from my mistakes to fix it.

He was a very interesting professor with a different outlook on education that was amazing. He focused on the quality of your work instead of the word count or anything. The essay topics were very open and made for you to choose what you want to write about.

Professor Watson is the ideal english teacher. He tries to make his course fun and light. He gives all sorts of feedback on his assignments and offers to help with papers you may have for other classes. I highly recommend Professor Watson.

Joshua Watson is a very easy going professor who had a relaxed grading system. The assignments were easy for me to complete in the amount of time allotted.

This class was somewhat easy to do with a relaxed grading scale. The material in the modules adequately prepare you for assignments and I did not need to give but so much time to complete any assignments.

Mr. Watson is seriously one of the best and most helpful English teachers Ive had since elementary school. Whenever I needed help he was there and usually responded to my emails the same day, nearly ever grade I have in this class in a 90 or higher just because of how easy it is to learn with Mr. Watsons help. He really inspired me to do good.

Professor Watson is a very charismatic teacher who is always flexible on assignments and due dates. I wasn't how sure how a college-level English class would go, but Professor Watson made it approachable with smaller assignments that build to a larger module project. He's lenient with due dates, with them being more schedule recommendations than hard deadlines, and tries to provide writing feedback for what is noteworthy or could be improved.

Had Professor Watson for the shorter term semester class and he was a great Professor. Explained assignment easy and gave great examples of how to do them. Very understanding and communicates really fast. An easy class to take and made me actually like to do the work even though I don't like English. Also gives opportunities for extra credit.

Mr. Watson understands that students are all at different periods in their life, and has designed his course to accommodate reasonably. If you apply yourself to the class you shouldn't have a problem getting an A or B. Overall this class was very engaging and oftentimes I found myself writing with ease from topics he had given us.

Mr. watson was a very clear instructor and when there was something i didnt understand i emailed him and he would respond super quick with the explanation needed. he was also very lenient he would allow late turn in for full credit as long as it was turned in while we were still on the same module the assignment was from. i recommend his class.

Mr. Watsons material gets your brains to thinking and whenever you get stuck, he is always there to offer you help with your assignment. he is very serious about the late work policy and attendance so always make sure you are focused.

This is the best english 111 class for anyone intimidated by writing. Prof Watson does a great job breaking down the papers and giving homework that helps you prepare for your writing assignments. I completed the 7 week version of the course and even at the accelerated pace it was not too challenging.

Teaching style was excellent! Encouraged participation and made you want to engage in the conversation. Was patient when asking questions and made sure that you understood the lecture. Made the class fun and gave positive and constructive criticism to ensure he got the best out of you. Would recommend taking his courses 10/10 times!

On a couple of assignments he allowed us to pick what we would like to write about instead of just giving us something. As long as you're turning the work in and following the rubric you'll be fine. Mr Watson is a very thorough professor. He made sure to answer any questions we had regarding our work and made great points with the route to go. I was able to understand the concepts on how to understand popular and scholarly sources, how to set up to write a research paper, and having discussions that the students were able to be engaged with.

During my semester with Professor Watson, I had somewhat of a medical crisis and was unable to do any work for almost a week. I emailed and explained the situation and he quickly replied with understanding. We came up with new due dates and he was incredibly helpful.

Excellent professor. I had him for a mini session class after failing ENG112 in the spring, and i would happily take his class again. Easy to navigate, not an insane amount of homework, and always willing to help. Also has a very dad sense of humor, which was a nice touch. 10/10

Mr.Joshua Watson is a very easy professor to have and makes time in his everyday life even outside of class to make sure you know what to do and gives great feedback. His class is easy all the assignments are connected and similar in a way and leads you to your end of semester research paper you will love his class I know I did.

His grading is very fair and he is great at helping if you have any questions about any material. If I had any more English classes that I needed that he taught I would gladly take a class with him again over any others.

Best online English teacher for Brightpoint. He grades well, and if you finish early (you should) he gives feedback and comments on what could be improved. If you listen and improve on it your grade will only get better. He works wonders, and he's enjoyable to have as a teacher. (You wont regret it)

This was my first college English class and was the best English class ever. Professor Watson allows us to express ourselves and opinions with proper writing techniques. Professor Watson made a daunting class very manageable by breaking down a large project into much smaller assignments. The class sets you up for success by establishing a strong draft that turns into your final project making the work smarter not harder.

Honestly, I thought this class was gonna be boring, but the way they broke down essay writing actually made sense. They're super chill and give really clear feedback. Also, if you email them, they actually respond! Would definitely take another class with them.

Not gonna lie, this class isn't the easiest A, but it's fair. You have to show effort and actually revise your work, but if you do that, you'll be fine. They give good comments and let you rewrite stuff if you ask early enough. Respect.

He's really clear with expectations and super patient, but just a heads up—he's a tough grader. I didn't get the grades I wanted at first, but he let us revise assignments, and his feedback actually helped me improve a lot. By the end, my writing was way better, and so were my grades. I honestly wish that I could have him as a future professor for other subjects. Thank you for helping me through my first semester, Professor Watson!

Professor Watson is my favorite Professor so far. He made this class fun by including some humor in his module instructions. He was also the most accessible Professor I have had yet. I could email him anytime, and although I didn't expect a response for a day or two, he always responded within minutes.

He is very understanding and caring he really takes the time to care for his students and wants the best for them. He is very understanding with late assignments which helps when life happens. He is a amazing professor wish i had him the rest of the year! :)

Professor Watson is a chill and caring professor. He is understanding when it comes to late work. However, taking the summer course is very hard and a lot of work. If you feel like you can handle that much, go for it. If not, take the regular 15 week course. All in all, I would take his class again!

I really enjoyed the tone that Professor Watson had throughout my course. Throughout the course Professor Watson didn't just feel like a teacher, he was someone trying to help. Even if we didn't talk much I would highly recommend you give a course of his a try.

He really values class participation, and he's flexible, understanding, and easy to work with. Class goals and expectations are clear. Overall, he makes the class a good experience.

Professor Joshua Watson is a great instructor who makes learning both engaging and approachable. He is funny, understanding, and easy to work with, which creates a positive class that students appreciate. His humor adds a lighthearted tone to the class, making it more enjoyable, but he also balances that with professionalism and clear instruction.

He provides clear instructions and requirements of students. When giving lectures, he provides information in a way that's easy to understand. If you are struggling, he's one email away, and he answers them quickly. Overall, a great professor to have.

This was a really fun class that helped me hone my writing skills even further, and I am finishing up the semester feeling more confident writing in areas that I will be working in when I complete school!

Professor Watson is very thorough and relates current information and situations to the topics he is teaching. I didn't feel confident in the APA format and he made availability along with a handout that gave me confidence in writing APA.

Online courses had very well organized assignments and grading criteria as well as lots of opportunities for extra credit.

Josh was an amazing professor! He provided really great feedback and was super understanding if you made a mistake. Extra credit was always available which was also really awesome.

Josh was an amazing professor! He was excellent with communication, and letting us know that he understood we were humans and things happen. Late work policy is very forgiving. Overall a great teacher and probably the best professor I've had in my 3 years of college.

I went into this class fully thinking I would not do well and Professor Josh helped me improve my critical thinking skills and writing skills.

Professor Watson provides interesting and clear assignments that truly helped be become a better writer. He is understanding and easy to access via email for any help. He also permits use of AI (cited, within reason) which I found very interesting. I would recommend anyone to take this class.

Professor Watson is great! He is super caring and understanding, and genuinely wants to work with his students to help them succeed as much as possible. The course content was great, and while you definitely have to work for his class, the workload isn't insane and all of the course work is informative

Professor Josh is an AWESOME professor! He was very open to questions about the assignments, and even questions about if we used AI incorrectly. He gave great feedback and advice when it came to the assignments. I can tell he actually cares about his students and wants them to succeed. If you have the opportunity to have Professor Josh, TAKE IT!

This professor is understandable and if you complete your assignments early and he see something he does not like he will allow you to make changes before the due date.

Watson is a great teacher, take this class if your able too. I had a lot going on personally this semester and he really worked with me to help me out with my grades. Easy to get in touch with, super understanding and a fair grader. Would take again.

I loved having Mr. Joshua as my teacher. He was one of the best I've had at Brightpoint. He explained the material clearly, connected with every student, and made class engaging. He also gave great life advice. I'd gladly take another class with him he's truly genuine.

I genuinely don't think I've had a professor so clearly care about the future of their students, let alone their job. I never dreaded dragging myself out of bed for his classes, I'm disappointed he doesn't have classes available for my next English course.

Professor Watson really makes class more fun with throwing in different things to learn about and our different interests to converse about, and not just being a one-track mind. He keeps us engaged, encourages discussion, makes the material feel more approachable, and truly shows that he cares about our success from the very beginning to the end.

I could not have asked for a better professor than Professor Watson for my first semester of college he was funny and very easy to talk to if you were ever confused about a topic. I really liked him because he really wanted to not waste your time, he did this by giving lectures in a timely manner and not holding you in class longer than needed.

Professor Watson is wonderful. He so clearly cares about the course and you as a student and human being. He is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and is a great talker/story teller. He understands that students are busy and have responsibilities outside of his class, but also encourages and expects you to be engaged. A++ professor!!

Loved Professor Josh. Assignments always had a creative alternative if you didn't want to write, such as a comic strip or audio interview. Reading was easy and not super dense. Assignment variety was great and fun, not just five 20 page papers back to back. He was upfront with the late work policy, responsive, and a super funny guy. Recommend!

Terrific experience, particularly for an online course. Assignments were extremely well organized, practical, useful, and with sufficient time to complete. Professor was flexible and caring. He allowed late work for 50% credit to encourage completion of assignments. Zero high effort/low value assignments like so many other English courses. Great.

This professor provides the information in a manner that you can understand, as well as build off of to perfect your craft. The material is not just thrown at you; Professor Watson goes through the material and gives us the floor to seal any questionable gaps.

Professor was very informative and understanding on things. Professor gives time to get stuff turned in and is willing to help out with it all.
