Professor Watson has been great and he is helpful when you reach out. The class itself wasn't difficult, however be aware of the length of the course. I didn't realize I selected the 7 week online option. I recommend NOT procrastinating at all. You'll be swapped and get half credit at most with a perfect score on late assignments.

Professor Watson is a great teacher, his class relies on Google Docs so don't worry about going through the effort of creating & submitting a Word Doc. Another great thing is if you turn in your work early, he'll comment on it & give tips/advice. He also does weekly check-ins, which are basically extra credit but also a safe space to talk.

I really enjoyed this class. The assignments were very fun especially when we were able to insert media sources in our assignments! I really love this teacher and Joshua Watson his assignments will let you get creative in your essays we had to write a team profile about any characters we like surprisingly I really enjoyed it I got to get creative. His class is very challenging if you are up for it. Every week at least two papers are required, but it helps you to understand course better and enhances your critical thinking ability. He gives grades generously if you prove you have worked hard towards it. I didn't require much feedbacks as course was easy to track through on it own.

I enjoyed this course. The professor has reminders throughout his syllabus and assignments to just write and not stress. Passing the class will only require your participation with your classmates in short discussions and the extent of your own creativity will depend on how much researching you have to do.

In his introduction to the class he asked for anime recommendations and i knew right away that I chose the right professor. The class was simple and effective. I felt like the assignments were well spread in a timely manner and i think i had fun working on some of the assignments.

Honestly of all my professors that I have had at Reynolds since returning (this is my second semester), he has been my favorite by a mile. The research paper was relatively easy the way he broke it down, creating a great strategy for my future papers. His feedback was extremely quickly. The workshop nature of the class was awesome. He was stellar.

ENG 242 with Professor Waston, was a very good class and I would take it again. I took the 5-week course online and there was a lot of work within the time frame but if you plan out when you will complete your work and stick to it, you will be just fine. The grading is pretty lenient so you should definitely not stress too much.

I took the 5-week summer course (probably a bad choice on my part). It was online asynchronous. I will admit it was difficult and there was a lot of work. I appreciate that in a teacher. He was insightful with his comments without being rude or harsh but a gentle nudge for where he wanted your paper to find improvement.

The first four weeks are very hard since you have limited time to read and write a LOT of essays, but if you get so many 20/20's, you get an easy course the rest of the semester. He is very understanding and very chill. I definitely would've loved for him to be any of my other English teachers. Rate him 1000/10 :)

This professor is the best professor in terms of delivering information in a way that all students can understand. He divides the essay into parts at the end, you will find yourself having complete the essay that contains 900 words, at the same time it meets all the standards required by this course. On discussion boards and projects, I don't think I ever met the word requirement. Don't stress about the writing because he is looking for what you have to say not the meaningless filler that comes with a word requirement.

Watson takes a different approach to teaching I haven't had the opportunity to experience before taking his class. The main difference is the feedback. Typical English classes taken in the past have offered specific criticisms, Professor Watson takes a more "teach a man to fish approach" and leaves a lot of time to meet one-on-one if necessary.

I enjoyed this class because of Professor Watson. The entire semester was very easy going and a lot of the assignments fed off of each other making it easier to get through the semester.

This is the third time I've taken a class with Prof. Watson. He is easily my favorite Professor so far in my time at J sarge (Only one semester left so not likely to change!) Professor Watson clearly cares about his students, if you tend to do assignments on time but end up missing one, he'll notice. He'll even send an email seeing if you're okay.

I enjoyed being with professor Watson, he has made my first official semester at Reynolds the best one ever. I highly recommend him to anyone. The most understand person ever. I literally have nothing bad to say. I've gotten a bad grade on a couple of assignments and still have no complaints.

I enjoyed this class overall, but be prepared to read a lot, to digest it, form your own opinion, and then write a compelling observation or standpoint. That part is not difficult, it is more about the volume in some weeks that you need to be prepared for. If you have other serious obligations, you need to plan your week carefully.

Class assignments werent difficult, I found new learning writing techniques and liked the different writing assignments because they were out of the box.

One of the hardest parts about writing a paper for me is having creative flexibility in what I'm writing. Mr. Watson is one of the most flexible teacher's I've ever met. He gave me an assignment about improving my local community, and I reinterpreted the topic into a poorly drawn comic with 2 paragraphs total, and I still got an A. He's the best.

Great class overall, the structure is consistent and very flexible for busy schedules. It is one project being worked on the full semester and assignments during the semester all work on developing the final product. You can finish the class early if you complete the project early :) Highly recommend taking this class!!!

If you make sure to attend the classes online or in-person and make sure to complete your work on time, in my opinion, you won't have a hard time passing this course and he is super helpful. I had a hard time completing assignments on time, but he was a great communicator and helped me make sure to complete them before the end of the semester.

Prof. Watson was great! I was dreading this class because I find it difficult to write about assigned topics. But he made it fun and allowed for creative freedom. He was also patient with this later in life student when I had questions (a lot sure has changed in the 20 years since I was last in school!). My only regret is it was a virtual class.

If you are good at self paced courses Professor Watson is amazing! He gives really good feedback on your drafts so that you can edit them for the final. I did take this class asynchronous, where there were no lectures, but he does provides video instructions/explanations for any project you have trouble understanding

For me, this class was completely online, but I really enjoyed it! The projects all allowed and encouraged creativity as well as they built off of one another to strengthen your writing skills. Professor Waston has been an amazing instructor. The instructions for each assignment were always very detailed followed by an assignment video explaining what we were required to do. I found that very helpful. I always looked forward to the Wednesday Words of Wisdom videos that he posted. They had always been a source of motivation for me.

I think this was a really great class where we got to find a way to fulfill the project requirements creatively. The workshops within the class are structured so that when the project comes around you have clear expectations of what it should look like. The professor is really fast to email and grade. Josh is neat, flexible. assignments are not expected on the due date he gives you time to be able to get them done without any penalty. it can get confusing but the course is pretty easy, just participate in discussion boards and follow the snoop dogg syllabus and you're good to go. he also gets back to you very fast in means of communication.

The best professor I've ever had or seen by a very wide margin. Even if English composition is not required for your major take this class! Professor Watson is inspirational and truly an asset to the academic community. I just enrolled in an additional English class not required by my major simply to take another class from him.

ENG112: 6-week course entirely online. Though it was hard to reach him at end of term, he did reply often during the first half. His grading criteria is super clear, though slightly confusing at first. I got an A but had to put in roughly three hours in each work. Discussion boards are busy work, three research logs, and two papers are due.

Don't be nervous as this teacher is here to help you in fun ways, his class is the greatest for getting those creative writing impulses out there and I'm sure he'll help that feeling come out in ways you never knew existed!

Prof. Watson managed to take a class that I was dreading and trying to figure out how to avoid and turned it into a class that I am sad to see end. This wasn't a traditional english class where you had to write a boring essay, it was actually interesting to be able to research our own selected topic and week by week put our final project together. He was very understanding with due dates if something came up! If I had to take another english class I would for sure take it with Professor Watson

Professor Watson lays everything out for you at the beginning of the semester, so there are no surprise assignments or hidden expectations. Be prepared to write a lot, but this is an English course. Watson makes an effort for things to be fun and not overwhelming, and was always really great at responding to questions and giving feedback ASAP.

He was very a patient and understanding. His communication was stellar. The first assignment topic concerned me. I emailed him, and he reassured me of his support. Final grade was an A.

His teaching style incorporates humor into the assignments, which I find very refreshing. I found that as long as you try in this class, you will do just fine.

professor watson is a very cool professor, but do not let the cool demeanor let you think you can slack off. attendance is very crucial and you should make it a goal to come to every class. i cannot stress enough that you ask questions, turn work in early, and do the readings!!! these three things will determine your success in his class. 10/10 tho

All of his assignments were in preperation for the upcoming essay so you could have as much preperation and understanding of the assignment as possible, and he gave you SO MUCH feedback, thorough too.
