He is one of my favorite prof. He loves the subject and he knows how to explain the material. If you go to class and study you will learn more in this class than all four yrs in Pace.

He will not fail a single student. I'm supposed to get an F he gave me a D. I'm taking him over again next semester with him. He's a great professor just listen to him. Easiest teacher in Finance @ Pace.

Not an easy professor, but the best one I've had at Pace. He makes you understand everything. If you want to come out knowing something, take him.

One of my favorite professor, very very clear on the subjects make you will never get lost in his class. NO HOMEWORK but pretty hard exams, as long as attend all classes and pay attention, ill hv no prob.

He knows his stuff. Just show up to class and you'll do fine. He is very fair with his grading system. Just study.

He is an excellent teacher. He has a vast amount of knowledge in Finance and he makes sure he passes it on to his students. Tough tests, but attend class and it will be cake.

Not a coaster class more like a full time job even for finance majors, lots of effort needed but Nam is fair enough.

This guys has a great teach style. He also has a great deal of respect for working adults pursue a degree and will work with the student to get a passing grade.

A very easy going guy. Teaches pretty straight forward, but you do have to memorize alot but that should be a given for a finance major. His exams are pretty tough but you'll do fine if you have finance bleed from you.

Dr Nam is a great professor, he knows what he is doing, and is very helpful. keeps class interesting, not boring like most profs

This Prof is very good at helping you understand. Class is hard, but if you attend and take notes, you will do well. All exams are based on in class notes. Study guides and practice problems are given, but tests and quizzes are not easy, you must study.

Although this professor speaks very fast he will stop to make sure understand and will anser questions. Tests and quizes are bases on the lecture. Need to make sure that you take excellent notes since what he tests on is bases on that and not the book. Don't bother buying the book.

Cool prof. Says it like it is. Very lenient and very easy to understand. Come to the lectures and you just cant do bad! I hate finance and did well!

He is too cute! Don't be fooled by the nice guy exterior though; if you don't know what you're talking about in the presentation, he WILL cut you to ribbons. Totally helpful and really wants his students to do well. Don't be shy about askign him to repeat anything you don't get, he's here to help!

Does examples in class, gives review questions that may end up on the exams, and will repeat until everyone understands. Gets frustrated when no one participates, so make him happy and answer his really easy questions. "right??" "right." You really have to go home and do the problems to see if you can do them urself. He makes it look easy in class

Web assisted course much better yet a rush rush course. He tries to cover a lot of info in 2 1/2 hours or so. Does examples in class and gives hw which you have to do or else you won't know what's going on. Exams are exact questions from hw or class examples but you have to study cuz its too much info to remember. overall he's good.

Out of all the classes I have taken at Pace, this class is the only class that actually taught me something, that's my last class. I was able to negotiate my home-loan because of Dr. Nam. He's the best at Pace.

NAM, is the MAN, thats what his letters shld read! TAKE HIM IF YOU WANT AN A. DO THE HOMEWORK AND U WILL GET A GOOD GRADE, NEVER KEEPS YOU THE WHOL 3 HRS, 2 HRS MAX! HES THE MAN!

Very smart and easy to follow. Hard to find him though but if you only listen and pay attention you will learn. He will not quit explaining his topic until you fully understand it. All his exams are easy if you study. Keep practicing his homeworks and notes. Great professor!

Great Professor. Take him. His classes are not hard if you do the homeworks and read the text book he provides which is on the web. Easy going and will explain lesson to the fullest.

Nam is a really great professor. He is crystal clear about what is expected. Exams are very similar to stydy sheets given in class. He gives random quizes here and there, which counts mostly as attendance and he gives extra points on your exam if you've taken all of them. I missed two but I got like 90's and exams and I got an A. Take Him!!

Not an easy A. Gotta study your butt off. I put in alotttt of time into this course and still got a B. I heard there are better finance professors...wouldnt take him again.

very smart guy, lots of experience! if you pay attention in class and read and practice the problems you will do great. Does not change much from the study sheets and practice problems. take him you won't regret it! will go over problem over and over if you don't understand.

This guy is the best! He took his time explaining everything and would redo problems as requested. Said he counted attendance but hardly ever took it. Exams a tough but totally passable if u study. He is a must take for any class. One of the best Finance professors @ Pace.

If you want to be a financial analyst, TAKE his class & pay attention. Trust me it will help you in your finance career. His class is hard (it's no joke)! Take notes, pay attention, ask questions and attend class. Quizzes, 2 group projects, midterm & final exam.

I love professor Nam. By far my favorite professor at Pace. His class maybe hard BUT YOU WILL LEARN, just put in time to study. If you are a finance major don't take the easy way out! What he teaches you will help in the future! He teaches you what you need to know. Doesn't grade attendance but don't miss class.

Professor Nam is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about real estate and wants his students to learn. He owns a RE company so his lectures are interesting, there is no textbook (only slides) but the tests honestly aren't hard if you pay attention. 3 case studies aren't bad either. If you're actually interested in real estate, take prof. Nam.

Best finance professor at Pace

He primarily lectures and puts up notes in Classes to read, but he goes over those same notes in class. You're graded by three exams, quizzes, and homework, but he gave hw once and everyone got 100 if done on time. The exams and quizzes are very fair, just pay attention and take good notes. You'll fail only if you don't listen or read the notes.
