There's a quiz every class and she makes you think about the questionsanswers, so you need to know your information. Has a bit of an accent so you need to pay attention.

Took Professor Stewart and i love the ways she teaches, her power points are very helpful. Study those and you will pass! 4 test one final not cumulative, gives extra credit and 10 bonus points for perfect attendance. she genuinely cares about her students passing her class not just to teach the material and call it a day.

Her way of teaching is very clear but the class in itself is very hard. If you don't need this class for your major don't bother taking. It's a lot of remembering and understanding. If you study you will pass but it's very hard.

Dr. Stewart is a great professor. Anatomy in itself is a pretty difficult subject but her power points and notes are always clear. Also if you need extra help she is always in her office ready to help. she never gives you the answer but she will help you as much as she can. Even though her class is demanding you will learn a lot!

This was my second attempt at this class and was nervous as my first encounter was horrible. Professor Stewart makes it so enjoyable you cant help but want to learn. Great instructor, very clear to understand. Take advantage of all opportunity to ask questions, do not come to class unprepared. Make note of anything she tells you to write in your journal about the concepts, it helps you understand the material. Make time to study, do expect to pass the class without understand the concepts. Joy is an AMAZING teacher I pass with a flying A! You have to print out all your work on D2L and bring it to class or sometimes she prints extra copies and she give it to you and she'll tell you bring her a copy back. She gives us study guides for the test. She's funny she cares about he students without a doubt in the world I will take her again.

She's awesome. Just print out all her power points before class. She goes over everything in great detail. Always has a review day before an exam and tells you what's going to be on it. The wording may be a little different on the exam but she kinda tells you that too. DEFINITELY would take her again.

I absolutely loved this professor. She's the best professor to take for anatomy. You will actually learn. I took for anatomy 1 in the spring and I wish I was able to take her again for anatomy 2. There is only 4 test so make sure you do well on them. Print out the powerpoints and read the book. If I actually put in the work I would have got an A.

Everything that she teaches in class, you need to write down and put it in your 'to know list' because shes not very clear whats going to be on the test like she says. ProfStewart is by far the best professor I have taken thus far (I never rated a prof) I took her for bsc2085 bsc2086 & bsc2086L. She is passionate about teaching and does what she can to make sure everyone understands. She gives worksheets that are very helpful for exams and prepares you for qualify exams. After coming off of rough professors for Anatomy I, Dr. Stewart was a breath of fresh air. She really makes sure everyone understands the concepts and genuinely wants you to do well. The tests really are not that difficult, and there are other assignments that cushion the grade a little.

This lab was really refreshing for me. The pre-lab quizzes were online before class, and I did this in the six week course, so we met multiple times a week. Partner work is encouraged, and Dr. Stewart is very helpful. The final practical was manageable.

Study, Study, Study! This class is not hard at all. Dont make the mistake to fail the first practical. Try hard & be prepared to the best of your abilities. Professor Joy is such a sweetheart and she cares about her students passing the course. Take her!!!

Prof. Joy is very passionate. At first I was struggling on her homework papers but she goes over everything. Tons of extra credit if you do it. 4 tests (no midterm/final). 1 group powerpoint project. Gives study guides for what is on the test and tells you what is on her tests when the lecture is happening. I ended with an 98%. (50 extra credit)

She is a great professor. BSC2085L will be hard no matter who you take it with. She has weekly quizzes online, 2 tests (Midterm/Final). Hardest thing you will ever take. Not many people (with every professor) pass the first time so I am happy with my C. YOU NEED TO STUDY! again, she's not hard, the course is.

She's actually a really good professor! One of the best, her lectures powerpoints important for the exams and useful for basic information. Very funny! There's a group presentation, not a big deal honestly. And you don't really use the textbook, but she does reference it and the homework is connected to connect so you have to buy that.

She is a excellent professor! Very tough to get into her class so please register early! Another tip she does Anatomy 1 for fall and spring semester only, no anatomy 2! If you want to get her for anatomy 2 she teaches it for summer thats it! And it fills up fast too! I never knew this so I cant take her for anatomy 2 now :(

Prof Joy was a really nice person to work with. She was always very nice and pretty forgiving. Its recommended you don't miss class 3 times during the semester as it will heavily effect your grade. Though, if you miss class and inform her about it, she will let you make up the test for that day after the next Labs end.

Some people at times disagree with her ways of teaching but overall her class is easy to pass. The main things you need to do are: show up to all her lectures, print all worksheets on D2L, take notes as she hints what's gonna be on the tests, do 10 Connect assignments, study worksheets and notes, and work on the group project. That's it. I got a B.

Shes a great teacher. You actually learn anatomy in her class and she does not giveout grades, you have to work for it. Every point counts, so do as much of the work as you can plus extra credit because at the end of the course it all adds up. Shes extremely tough, but you will learn in her class. What she teaches is what the is on the test.

First things first, she wants you to pass she really cares about her students. She gives homework every class, you HAVE to do extra reading and go over her slides (you don't need to print them out). She is tough on you but in a good way. Just get ready to put in work for her class. Overall, she is a great Professor.

I have had Joy in the Spring and Fall for AP 1 and 2, and I have never had a problem with how she teaches (even during COVID) I got As as my final grade for both class because I worked hard. Anyone the wants to complain is lazy, and If you are going in to Nursing this class is cake in comparison to what is coming

Great professor! Gives a lot of time to students, answers all questions in emails fast and in detail. A&P is demanding class, no matter who teaches it. You will learn a lot of memorization techniques from her and will be ready for HESI exam for sure. She gives tons of extra credit. Attend classes, read, turn work in time and you'll do great!

the textbook isn't used, but the workbook is (just to clarify). if you're taking BSC1005 with this and you keep up with the reading assignments, this class should be very easy for you. pay attention, don't be the person that has to constantly ask questions because of how lost you are, it's a nuisance. other than that, easy A!

She gives answers to questions the class got wrong on the quizzes. Yes, the material in the powerpoints and manual are not always the same as what is on the quiz, however, it's not her doing. All quizzes come from the department, not her. Regardless of if slides look a little different, you should still be able to know what it is if you study hard.

Remote class, meetings via BBcolab, lectures recorded. The material itself can be difficult, but prof Stewart does a great job of breaking things down. She does not read from power points and actually creates her own. Opportunities for EC. If you put in the work you will pass with a B or better. She is available outside of office hours too.

If you want to know your stuff- this is the teacher for you, but she is not easy. If you show up, and put the time you will get an A.

Professor Stewart is a really good, honestly. For me I just had a hard time because anatomy is NOT easy, lots of reading and memorization. Chapters are long, tests are big and graded heavily. I passed with a C due to the extra credit. Her tests don't always line up with what is taught in class due to the fact that she doesn't make the tests. 8/10!!

Dr. Stewart is a great professor. She cares about her student's success and provides extra credit. Her lab is simple; if you spend time practicing the material. It is not easy to pass her class if you don't study, and she will be tough. Just make sure you follow her instructions, and you will do well. I recommend taking her.

Anatomy II is a very heavy course. Be prepared to study almost every night. Professor Stewart is clear and has wonderful resources to help you study. She is very caring with her students and wants to make sure that everyone knows what they're doing. I personally loved her teaching method.

Dr. Stewart is a TOUGH GRADER, especially when it comes on to spelling and shortening of words! However, what stood out to me, was how dedicated and committed she is for you to pass her class. She explains and illustrates very well! She always gives a review of a quiz or an exam, so you may know what to study. Hats off to her!!!

She's the most amazing professor I've had!! She doesn't give too much work, but there is one group project throughout the whole semester, which is just a paper and a PPT based on the paper. She's a good professor. Be prepared to study all of the time. The course in itself is loaded with information but she does her best to help you understand. She provides useful resources; there's just a lot of quizzes and you really have to commit to studying. She gives feedback when you ask for it.

She makes it very easy to follow along with her lectures, and not just memorize what we are learning, but to actually know it! 4 exams overall and there are 2 extra credit opportunities totaling 30 extra credit points. Make sure to complete Connect homework.

Prof Stewart is a solid professor. She has 4 test that make up 400/600 of your grade so be sure to take advantage of the 2 big extra credit opportunities! Do the connect homework, quizzes and discussions! You can pass even if you don't do well on the tests. Her test are tricky so show up and be active in class learning! She wants you to succeed!

I took this class aleady and failed it but it was with a different professor. And she made it easier for me the second time around. the test were a lil difciult but i would say to go through the class slides before you take the test because most of the stuff on the test comes from the slides and reasd, do the work and youll be fine

shes great. The quizzes are online, and you have from the day you had that lab to the next lab to complete them. The quiz has 10 questions in a short amount of time but is manageable gives extra credit powerpoints a midterm and a final. Just study and you will be fine. She gives you clues that can help you identify things.

She is a tough grader, especially for assignments and discussions. She wants it done specially but she is Amazing. I took her for AP1&2 because she helped me understand the material well. Some of the ways she explained and tautaughtgh it, I will not forget. TAKE HER!!!!!

I took her for A&P I AND II for the lectures and the lab. She is very an amazing person. attendance is not a big deal. She use worksheet and most of her exams are from them. She make sure that you understand the concept. It is a heavy class , you will need to study and as long as you do that you will pass her class. Take her !!!!!

I 100% recommend this professor for people going into medical or health science careers. This professor lectures very well and is very expressive and explains the information nicely. She wants you to learn and know the information. She's also pretty funny. The ratings were misleading but I enjoyed the class.

I don't understand some of these bad reviews. This professor is amazing. BSC2085 and BSC2086 ARE MEANT TO BE DIFFICULT! The lab quizzes WILL be fill in the blank. It is the same for every lab so I don't know what you guys are complaining about. She is an amazing lecturer and explains the chapters very throughly.
