I hate math, but Ms Hallawy made Algebra interesting and enjoyable. I took a Saturday, 4 hour class and it was still enjoyable.

I enjoy her class for Calculus two over the winter mini-break. She gives quizzes for bonus point up to more than 20 points and she gives test reviews and there is one take home test. Plus she allowed tests review except if you have A on the exam. She is highly recommended for calculus two. Trust m

i hated this class cuz there were so many annoying ppl asking so many questions so it was boring for me. she's nice though. her math labs were annoying and they took forever.dont take her class if you're not willing to come to class, she takes attendance. study the review for her test u should b ok.

Mrs. Hallaway is a very nice teacher and wants her students to learn. She met with most of our class outside of the classroom on her own time. She met with us over Spring Break!! No other teacher would do this. I would recommend her for all of my Calculus classes. :)

This class was a joke. She gives way too many bonus points and there are students in this class that should not be in there. If you dont pass this class, then YOU are an idiot. She meets with the class outside at some cafe for extra help on her own time. So, YOU SHOULD PASS HER CLASS!

Great teacher, easy tests, they come straight from the review she even drops one of your tests grades. I recieved a B in the class, and all of the homework is online. I recommend this teacher to anyone that sucks at MATH

Good teacher. Easy B. Test are easy and straight forward. Online is easy. She does get annoying at times with pushing students to finish on her time (hungry). Took her for summer and DO WARN THAT HER FINAL(EXTREMELY HARD) WAS NOTHING what see taught and reviewed before.

I would highly reccommend this teacher to any student who is having trouble with math. She is very understanding and caring of her students. I took this particular math 3 times. The first time 2 times I failed and the third time was a charm. I made not a B but an A. It was only because of her dedication to us. Thanks. Love you Mrs. J.

She is very easy!I didn't do those exercises and I still can easily get an A in her class. All you need to do is just study for the reviews that she gave befor the test.(don't worry, she will go through all the reviews and tell you the answers) The review is almost exactly the same with the test.

She is a good stat. professor and is nice most of the time because you are her only stat. class. Her exams come right off from her review sheets, which she puts up on the web, and goes over it. The numbers are different on the test, but the concept and the wording is most of the time same.

she's so sweet and fun. Easy,she gives a review and test is exactly the same format as the review. Gives 4 test and drops your lowest. If u get an A in the final, that's your grade, no matter how bad u did on the first 3. Or it's the other way around. love her.. she's my fav..

This is the best Math teacher in the world. Every math teacher at HCCS who got a bad rating should take a class from her. Take her for math, change your schedule if you have to around her. These reviews don't lie she is the best. SW campus is lucky to have her.

Great prof!! Talks alot b4 class starts, soif you are a little late, no big deal. I failed or dropped this class 3 times b4 this.With her as a teacher, I got a 100 on all of the tests and an A on the final. It was greatg and I am taking her for Finite in the fall. I would definatley recommend her for any math class. If you study, you will do well.

if your a visual learner this teacher is perfect for you. she does every example step by step and if u pay attention and do all your work gurantee A!! take her shes very helpful!

This professor is really nice and easy. She does her best to suite what the students want. If she feels she needs to make more tests so it doesn't hurt your grade, she'll ask for your opinion. She's really strict on attendance, but she's really leneant on homework. Usually if something is due a certain day, she extends it. I highly recommend her!

great prof. i took her for three math classes and the only reason i am not taking her for my next one is because she is not teaching it. very helpful and understanding.do your work and ask questions and you will do well

I took her for statistics, and she made it really easy, and the tests were exactly like her reviews she provided. So if you do the reviews and understand the concepts, you're good! Highly recommend her!

Took her after taking another much harder teacher. She made the class a breeze. MUCH clearer than the other teacher and with multiple choice exams and exams that look like the review, you couldn't ask for a better math class. Taking her for PreCal too.

Exellent teacher, very easy to understand, Do your homework and you will pass the test. I recommend taking her for all your math needs.

Shes strict and requires alot of work but you will learn alot from her. Keeping up with the homework problems will help.She will help you though if you need it.

She is very nice. She always says the words "Yes" and "Do you follow" and "Do you get it" But she is very nice. She gives quizzes sometimes. I had her for Plane Trigonometry and made a C and I also had her for Precalculus and made an A, thats only because of the extra credit assignment that she had given us otherwise I would have had a B avereage.

I LOVED Mrs. Hallaway. Very sweet lady. Very helpful. Always stops to help you with your questions. If you're good, you don't really even have to be there all the time. Just make sure you get the math labs done!!!

Took her for STAT online.She is EXTREMELY HELPFUL, I was pleasantly surprised! She will answer ANY and ALL questions you have. She even offered to meet me somewhere if I needed help(which speaks of her character) HIGHLY RECOMMEND! (not particularly easy not hard either) Afterall its a STAT class ONLINE. GL

really good teacher..just tell her in advance that you won't be there for class and she's straight. never bought the book.. just shared with people in the class. all i have to say it make sure you do the myMATHLAB homework everyday..because if you just let it pill up like i did. it will hurt you hard. but i made an HIGH A :)

alright teacher.. made an A! only problem she has a lot of off-topic conversations DURING CLASS! makes the class longer.. she also doesnt let you out early.

I think she is so funny cuz she always says "Yes" "Do you follow" and "Do you get it" She only goes over the prblems that are in the examples. She's easy though. All her tests are multiple choice and she allows graphing calculators on the exams except for the remedial math classes.

I loved her, shes the best professor ever. I dont understand while other students are complaining, if you dont speak up and ask for help you deserve the grade your received. Also, if you complete the homework online she gives you up to 10 points in every test. Do the math..

Took online. Extremely easy if you like math. Everything is done online. You can finish the class way before the semester is over. Take quizzes up to 3 times. Print them because some of the same questions appear on the tests. Drops lowest of 4 tests. 2 hours to take tests. Final counts twice. Never read the book, just watch online lecture videos.

She is easy. She goes over every assignment step by step just pay attention and if she's too fast for you let her know she will slow down. Test is super easy she does extra credit quizzes. Final was super easy. I recommend her to everyone.

EASIEST PROFESSOR AT HCC!! If you get all A's on your tests you get exempt from the final!! Very helpful, always gives you chances to get extra credit...a phenomenal teacher! HIGHLY recommend her!!

She was an overall Great Teacher. I took her online. She answers your questions as soon as she can. She allows you to turn your homework in at the end of the semester. She gives extra credit for completing your homework also. The homework is online as well. You have just one on campus exam and that is the Final. The tests on Mymath Lab do not count

She goes from the mymathlab and does the problems with you.You take the quiz on mymathlab and she will give you 3 trys which is very helpful.If you don't understand it she explains it to you.She goes step by step. She gives the easiest quizzes in class for extra credit.We took 3 test+the final super easy-she does the review in class with us. Easy!

MyMathLab homework is extra credit. she gives about 3 inclass extra credit that's super easy like "name five other classmates"etc. goes step-by-step if you have questions. provides reviews before exams which she goes over in class beforehand and shows steps to getting the answer. super sweet professor. dismisses class early too!

Took her for finite. Very helpful and understands how to help students in areas where help is required.

Took her online (summer 8 wks-covid) because I read the reviews on here. I'm horrible at math & I'm so glad I did take her. Just make sure you're on top of hw, it's a lot. She gives lots of extra credit, so do those. Grading heavily on final & exams. Do every single thing you can get all the points you can. Take her!
