She's rude, picks favorites, and is flat-out mean to others. She doesn't believe in review before tests and quizes or even telling you what to study in the broadest sense. She grades the homework and the tests are often too long. She just sucks, avoid her if you can.

Terrible!! she doesnt give out any kind of study guide but lets you know that if you know the "hows and whys" of EVERYTHING you will do fine. she doesnt go over everything thats in the test. she gives false hope to you and says ill give you a half point back for every point you do better on the second exam. She is very mean. Doesn't help at all. do

She is terrible. Her tests are way too long and you have no time to finish the test or check over your work. She judges you and has favorites. I am an accounting major and this teacher is probably one of the worst i have come by. Avoid all her classes if you want to pass.

Possibly the most inflexible and unliked professor in Whitman because of her condescending attitude. The sample tests and class examples are nothing like the exam so prepare yourself if you have this woman because you're in for quite the ride. Perhaps this is why shes deemed the title 'godzilla'.

Currently suffering through Advanced Financial Accounting with her. Studied for the first exam for over a week. Did the practice exam 5 times. Read the chapters. Failed the exam. She does not believe in curving. She moves quickly and never stops to explain anything in detail, but expects you to know the details on the exams. AVOID.

She's honestly just rude

Bad teacher (like does not use effective teaching techniques), puts students on the spot. I passed the class but ended up taking the same course in grad school and realized how much she doesn't teach and how there are so many better ways she could teach. Expected more from Whitman.

She is so passionate about ACC but this is her 1st time teaching this class in 15 years. It is SO hard, she openly told us the hw and examples are much easier than the exams problems and its TRUE. It is such a tough class with her, she has even told a few students that they won't succeed in the class and shouldn't take accounting anymore.

I love accounting but Zadzilka found a way for me to hate it. She does not respect your opinion and if you answer a question incorrectly she will just rudely tell you that you were wrong. I have answered multiple questions correctly and she just tells me know for sport. If you can find any way not to have this professor do it!!!

I dont mind accounting to be fair. I do mind Zadzilka though. She's honestly not a bad person, she just shouldn't be allowed to teach students, at least at college level. Her voice is annoying, the way she dresses is annoying, her name is annoying. She's just your last option if you had any way to spend 80min of your day.

Okay, please please do not take this class. Managerial accounting is an easy subject that she makes unbelievably hard. The curriculum is almost entirely different from any other 252 class for no reason. Take the 8am instead, do not put yourself through this class. She will let you fail, she doesn't care about your grade and is unhelpful at best.

Joyce makes passing this class unnecessarily difficult. Does not give study guides or practice tests and belittles students who ask questions or dont understand the material. Our recitation's test average was a 65. A 65, and she chose not to curve it. The numbers speak for themselves so if you want to pass 252 dont take this professor.

She is often referred to as the hardest teacher in Whitman and for good reason. It was the hardest class I've ever taken, I wound up getting an A, but I hated my life the whole semester. DO NOT take her. Literally take anyone else for your own sake. Anyone who actually recommends her as a teacher is insane

She gives no reviewers and unclear answers as to what comes out in the test. She is a hard grader, even her assignments won't help you. Her assignments are on the book, but DO NOT expect them to come out in the exam. She has this thing called "testlets" in exams, given in random order, which defeats the purpose of the solution and process of ACC.

I love accounting but I would drop the major if it meant I would have to meet another person like her. Every exam will be you going over content for the first time ever and almost all of the homework does NOT cover what the exams will look like. Every exam had an average of 65 and she would mention "This is the first time you had to do x."

She isn't very good at teaching material and relies heavy on the textbook for learning. She's very hard to follow at times because she gets boring and can be rude to students at times. She never reviews in class for tests and doesn't give much guidance on what to study. I have never really disliked a professor but I would give her a zero rating.

I would not recommend you take this teacher. If you need ACC 252 take anyone but her. She is one of the hardest teachers at Whitman.

not helpful and only tests matter. the tests are very hard and on paper, and isn't helpful in office hours. I went to office hours and she told me to figure it out on my own. material is very hard and she is overall terrible. don't take this class with her.

Probably the worst professor in Whitman. Her classes could not be more boring and she does not provide you with the materials for homework and tests. No study guide or answers to textbook problems. Average on tests is like a 50-60. Take this class if you want to tank your gpa.

While you can get a decent grade in the class if you care about the material, the tests hold everyone back. She does not curve any assignments or test, so be ready to take a hit to your GPA. Avoid her class at all costs.

Listen to these ratings. I am not a C student and this was the most difficult class I have ever taken for no reason. Homework and exams and ridiculous and students are criticized in class in front of everyone. Yes, she is helpful for extra help but the difficulty of the class does not make up for it.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS, she is the worst teacher in Whitman. Singles out students and is very unresponsive to students who go for extra help. Tests are hard and on paper with no curves. This is not taught like a core class at all. Take any other professor.

It's the third day of class and I hate this lady so much.

I have never written a review on this website, However, I had to write one because genuinely this professor is the hardest one on this campus. She has that mindset that she's the gatekeeper to becoming an accountant and if you don't live and breathe her class then she thinks you deserve to fail, btw she said that to a student. Avoid at all cost.

The lectures are not helpful, nor id the professor when asked for help. Difficult homework, lots of busy work for group project, she is not willing to help students in any shape, way, or form. She is not understanding at all and shows no care for her students. Would 100% never recommend this class.

She can make the classroom very uncomfortable, and she has had some incidents showing her ignorance. Talks a lot and it is hard to follow along with the course. Exams are barely of anything we learn in our class and more difficult, gives no study guide, no way of you to study for the exams.

If you are considering taking her class, at least hear this A student asked a question about a specific way to calculate COGS for a problem. She laughed in his face and said, "Everyone in this class listen up, If you don't understand the simple basics of accounting then you need to find another career and leave my class". Incredibly disrespectful.

The course is full of irrelevant busy work, such as personal reflections and goal setting writing assignments. The group project is also a lot of busy work. The exams are on paper and the limited material she provides for us to study is not on it. They're extremely difficult. She often belittles students when they ask for help as well.

Honestly have never written a review on here ever but this teacher forced my hand. Hands down the worst teacher I have ever encountered in my entire life, and that's saying something. Tests don't correlate with homework or anything that she's generally goes over. She thinks she is funny and nice but actually the rudest person I have ever met. NO.

This professor is disrespectful and doesn't care about students what so ever. She belittles you when asking a question and its her way or the highway. There is work that is not applicable to accounting such as an essay about us completing a goal and a course journal. She has made comments to students that are personal. She gatekeeps accounting

An absolute nightmare; laughed at my face several times when asking for help. No study guides or exam preparation, no formula sheets, no guidance at all. Homeworks do not align with tests. Very egocentric and rude. During review day, she laughed at a student for wanting to go over a problem in class. Just get as far as possible from her.

I asked a question, she laughed at me, refusing to explain why I lost points. She doesn't adhere to the rubric, grades to how she interprets it. she doesn't believe in study guides and will mock students for not being good enough. I have never had a professor be this blantanlty nasty, I could go on and on about my terrible experience in her class.

Professor Zadzilka is by far the worst professor I've had at Syracuse. The format for her final exam is completely different and unfair compared to every other class of 252, no help with a study guide at all either. Anytime you ask for assistance or feedback, she tells you to figure it out yourself and belittles you. DO NOT TAKE.

Wish a dean would look at her curriculum. Although dozens fail her classes and no one teaches like her she still thinks she's got it right. Her tests are obnoxious- no notes, or formula sheet (all other accounting professors offer one of the two or both). You will probably do an entire letter grade worse with her than you would any other professor.

Lectures are just her doing problems. She expects you to know/remember everything you learned in ACC 151. Such a harsh grader and hardly gives any feedback. Slides aren't helpful. Exams are in-person, on paper, closed-book, and are so difficult. Assigns HW every class and doesn't accept late work at all. So strict, you don't want her as your prof.

Horrible professor. She frequently chastises her students for asking questions or asking for help. Average scores on her tests are failing grades, and she blames her students in class without ever questioning her own teaching methods.

The definition of that one teacher who is like "it's not about the grade, it about the journey and learning the material", yet she is SUCH A TOUGH GRADER. She does not provide any study materials for exams, she just tells you to use your notes and create your own. ALSO, you are basically doing a EEE project (her words not mine) in a 200 lvl course.

Worst professor I have ever had. During class she does not give actual equations in relation to the content. This is accounting, not english. For exams, she might as well just not even exist. No study guides, no class review, and barely mentions the criteria of the exam. Lectures are beyond boring. Won't even answer student's questions when asked.

Whatever you do do not take this professor. besides from attendance, boring lectures, and hard exams she is the worst teacher. she never answers questions and has said "i dont wanna do that" when asked to review stuff/post stuff. she makes you feel bad for not knowing stuff she has taught horribly. avoid at all costs.

There is a reason she has mostly 1-Star reviews. I have never experienced a professor crashing out on students like what she did in ACC477. She wasted 5 lecture periods kicking and screaming because our exam average was a 50. What a monumental waste of my time and my parent's money. Incredibly embarrassing for a university professor.

This professor does not know how to teach. She gave 3 impossible exams including the final and literally nobody in the class could get higher than an 80. She doesn't curve and her lectures are boring! She give a semester long project and gives a lot of BUSY work! WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T TAKE HER CLASS!!!
