My original ENGR 217 professor quit after the first week of the semester. Dr. Cornejo has been nothing but understanding towards his sections since we fell behind on the material. I recommending taking him since he also explains the lecture well and is open to receiving any questions.

A real one. He is one of the most understanding professors and does give extra credit and grades pretty fairly. Homework is 30 percent of the final grade and isn't too bad. The lab grades aren't in his control so despite Prof Cornejo being a real one 50% of the grade is still out of his hands. Also the final can be tricky.

This class is an absolute mess and arguably a waste of time but that is not Cornejo's fault at all. Cornejo started teaching in the middle of the semester due to some stuff and nailed it. SUPER NICE but people took advantage of that really fast :( There's plenty of extra credit and the material isn't hard compared to other professors.

Dr. Cornejo was great, in most 217 classes there's no access to final exams yet he gave us multiple to study for the class. He also takes attendance in his lectures but they're entirely extra credit and at the end of the semester he gave. Really caring and understanding professor will also grade late work. Would take again

Prayers for ppl who take him in the future. He's making the final a lot harder and idk if allowing cheat sheets anymore. Also lowk impossible to get in contact with him outside of class. Doesn't respond to emails and canceled class/office hours. This sem was off for him b/c of health issues, but not bad prof. His website was goated for the final.
