Nice guy... Very easy class. There is only one fatal drawback to his method- You Don't Learn Spanish-His workbook assignments and Tests are amature at best and he could stand to take a few classes in the teaching of Spanish.In his "College" level class we never had to memorize Spanish.

You cannot read the textbook and expect to learn Spanish, so go to class. Lot's of handouts with vocab, honestly, not enough homework, you will have to do some independant study. Prof. is nice, easy going, great communication and a really cute Spanish accent. Hottie? notin the conventional sense. Cutie would be a good category. Easy class.

What a great professor. He is very thorough. Always asks if his students understand the material. As long as you review your notes and the homework assignments, you will do well. Professor Saborido is the best. He is a comedian disguised as a professor, but he is still a great professor. His lectures get right to the point, and he focuses on the grammar rather than the memorization of the vocabulary. His exams are average, that is, not too easy and not too hard. He is a very nice guy.

The material for this class is not hard at all. The professor does a great job at explaining concepts well enough. Homework is not graded, expect to have 2 exams, a midterm and a final. Exams count for pretty much the whole grade so make sure you study.

Professor Saborido is honestly one of the best professors at MCC if you fail his class then you are just lazy bottom line. Before every test you get a test review if you study those you will pass if you fail then you are just lazy. I believe buying the book is helpful to passing because you look over criteria to class along with class notes.

He's really funny and his tests are super easy. There is online homework so you have to buy a new textbook but it's five chapters and they're all due on the last day of class, so you have plenty of time. You can miss a few classes and not be completely lost! Very helpful and he knows his stuff.

Prof. Saborido is a terrific professor. He teaches very well and repeats his message several times until everything becomes CRYSTAL CLEAR. He's also one of the funniest people you'll ever meet. Great spanish professor, makes assignments and lessons very clear. He can tell who already knows spanish, but is hiding it or pretending not to, and he will move them up to the intermediate level. Textbook required for all his classes for online homework and following in class lessons for tests. If asked, he will explain and go over any questions.

He is by far the easiest Spanish professor/teacher I have ever had. He is first off, a very funny and chill guy. Second, he cares about his students. And third, he actually knows what he is doing/teaching. He explains things efficiently and if you just do some studying for the exams you will be golden.

His tests are REALLY easy imo but they are also the only thing that is graded for the exception of one homework grade that's 15%. He teaches it really well if you've never taken Spanish before. Highly recommend.

8am lectures weren't so dull with prof. saborido. very chill, likes to joke around, and ready to go. I recommend going to his lectures since he tells whats going to be on tests prior. He also offers a makeup test so thats pretty helpful if you need it.

Professor Saborido was extremely caring when I was placed in Intermediate Spanish 1 and was able to save me from getting an F on my transcript by placing me in his elementary Spanish 1 class. However, the textbook is really expensive because he wrote it, and you need it for the hw. But if you skip class w/o an excuse, he drops your grade to an F.

He is one of the best professors at Middlesex College! 2 tests, 1 Midterm, and 1 Final with HW assignments, it is very hard to not get an A as HW and the tests help. KHP HW (Online) can be very annoying but his HW is the best. TAKE HIM!

First time since my Sophomore year I took Spanish back in 16-17. He really made it easy and understanding for his students to understand. This was an elective for me as I took French as my actual language. Always was accessible outside of class and would always help students when they needed it. Professor Saborido is super chill and made virtual class fun. What I really like about him was that he didn't randomly call on students to answer questions. The test he gives are about 20 questions and are super easy if you pay attention in class.

Great professor! Took him for 2 courses and I don't regret it. If you're taking his class online, make sure to join his Zoom sessions for attendance. He explains everything really well. His grading is fair, and he's very understanding. The workload is easy to manage, and as long as you stay engaged, you'll do great. Highly recommend!

I found him to be funny and easy to understand. Tests can be hard, but as long as you study you will be fine. Homework on Canvas is pass/fail and straightforward versus the text homework. Textbook made things more confusing.

Cares about participating, took his 7 week summer course and he did grade based on attendance. His Spanish is a bit off Spain Spanish, so it can be tricky to learn for those who are not proficient in the language but its balanced.

Professor Saborido was great. I took him for Spanish 121 and 122 and I don't regret it at all. I passed both classes with an A. As long as you study and do the homework, you'll be fine. He's an easy grader and always open to any questions.

He is great, he will work with you if he sees youre struggling and want to pass the class. Funny as well and makes lectures enjoyable and is very caring and a great human overall
