Hard class made much better by great professor. She talks very fast but is very organized adn good at helping studnts to be organized.

I have her for Microbiology this semester. She is AWESOME!!! She really loves her job and it's apparent. She is very helpful and answers emails quickly. I wasn't that interested in Micro when I came in and now I think I love it! She explains things well and makes them easy to understand.

I love her lecture. She does talk A LOT and very fast, but the labs are difficult because she does not explain what the tests are and just lets the class decide what they are going to cover.

The only way to go for Micro at CTC. Her classes are worth driving to Canton. Micro lab with her is super fun and you know exactly what to expect for practicals. Lecture tests are 50 multiple choice and what she says is "important". DO THE OPTIONAL HOMEWORK it'll save your life on the tests.

She is difficult and thorough, but there are no surprises. Exams are hard and cover EVERYTHING. Lectures are funny and interesting. Highly recommend to any serious student who wants to learn.

Lecture is really, really good. She is very funny and very helpful. But don't be fooled - Doc means business. If you want an easy A, stay away. But if you want to really learn and understand in a friendly environment, take this class.

She is very helpful and would do anything to help you pass. It would be difficult to get an A in the class and a lot of studying will be required. Do not take if you dont have time for studying, or the class will eat you alive.

Discussion groups were great and the way that she had us work together was a first for me in science. Definitely will take her again. Hard tests, but great caring professor. We are not just numbers to Doc.

Best class I've ever taken, and one of the best instructors I've had. Class is at night, but Doc has energy enough for all of us. Hard subject, hard tests, but she makes it good.

While she is enthusiastic about Bio, she breezes through powerpoints. Tests are worded in very confusing ways and with multiple choice, she will purposely put factual answers about the question that don't SPECIFICALLY answer the question to mix you up. No other grades really count except tests and lab was neglected very much.

I love Doc! She will go out of her way to help and make things interesting, but do not be fooled by her joking personlality. Exams are HARD and she tests EVERYTHING. Lots of critical thinking, but that's science. If you want to be prepared for the next level, take her. If you want your hand held, run fast!

Doc's the best! I worked my butt off to get an A and enjoyed every minute of it. Doc used great analogies and stories to help me understand difficult topics. This class is not for slackers that want an easy A, you'll have to earn your grade but it is well worth it. Put in the effort and she'll go out of her way to help. Thanks Doc!!!

Does reviews outside of class and goes out of her way to help but you will work for it and learn how to study.

I love Doc. She is the most enthusiastic AND well spoken professor I have ever been taught by. I have never been so excited or done so well in a difficult class than with her teaching it. I signed up for Biology 1112 as an on-campus class. W were told the first day that the class would have to be made into a online class. With an exception of meeting about twice a month. A handful of people dropped the class, but me and some others did not and persevered along with Dr. Forrester. It has turned out to be an awesome semester!

Easily the most inspiring teacher I've ever had. Doc is full of energy, funny, and her enthusiasm is catching. I came to chat tech looking for an easy class. I didn't find it but instead i found something way better. Would take every class from her if I could.

Her test comes straight from her lecture notes and what she says in class so if you want to do well, I'd recommend recording her lectures and reviewing those before the test. Amazing teacher. She loves interacting with her students. The lectures were very informative. Test included multiple choice and essay questions. Pay attention to topics covered in detail during lectures as those will likely be the essay questions. Accessible outside of class anytime.

Lab was a breeze. We rarely met after class, and when we did, it was very short. Our labs were self explanatory, and the final was a joke. 3 lab quizzes increased in difficulty but none were impossible. She was willing to help when needed, and she was extremely laid back! Highly recommend for lab!!

Doc is such a sweet lady but I really struggled with this course. I read every chapter, listed to all my recorded lectures, never missed a class and came out with a C on most tests. Im not sure what I was missing, but if I talked to her, she was always willing to help. Just be ready for a challenge! I enjoyed the class, just not my grades!

Never ever had instructor like her. Her energy, positive attitude, caring and knowledge are off the charts. Good luck getting in, I registered the first day and her classes were full fast. Im driving an hour and a half to canton for her and its worth it. Definitely not easy, but I am glad to be prepared for nursing school.

BEST TEACHER EVER. Lectures are very heavy and be ready to work for it. But Forrester is always there to help, even at 1am. Go to class and do the assignments. Grading: theres a total of 4 tests and 1 final exam, worth 20% each. No homework. No quizzes. No extra credit.

Best teacher I've ever had in my life. I took her for summer semester A&P1 w/ lab and she was just incredible, so incredible, that I was supposed to move out of state the next semester but I STAYED just so I could finish A&P2 with her and microbiology. She's fun, CARES, and wants to do anything she can to help her students. She's a real gem.

She is an amazing teacher but she does not put up with laziness! She gives you 5 exams throughout the class that are weighted pretty heavily but if you take good notes and attend the class you will pass! She cares a lot about her students and I am taking her again for A&P 2 and microbiology!

Despite A&P being the hardest classes you'll take, Dr. Forrester is the best professor to take A&P with because she really cares about her students, she wants you to succeed, and she finds ways to make the material make more sense and stick with you. You'll do a LOT of studying, but, with effort, you'll do well.

Extremely hard class, but she has a passion for the subject, teaching, and her students, which makes it doable. You'll put a lot of time and effort into this class, but it's worth it. Took online. Very responsive to emails. There is a lot of reading, but if you put forth every effort you will pass. She is very accommodating and helpful. She wants to see you pass! Took Doc for AP1, AP2 and Micro. Retook AP1 after getting a C with another professor and got an A. She gives amazing lectures and her personality is so fun and animated, making things much easier to understand. You will have to study your butt off, no doubt, so establish good study methods. Definitely utilize YouTube and Quizlet! Highly recommend!

Despite taking this class online, Dr Forrester is hands down the best Professor Ive encountered at Chattahoochee Tech. Shes passionate about the subject matter and she inspires you to give your all. I do not think I could have done as well without her Flexibility. I took her online Anatomy Physiology 2 (and her Micro-) She has plenty of resources, she is super prepared, always accessible, responds to emails ridiculously fast, she greatly appreciates the non-traditional student time constraints. You will earn your grade. No gimmes.

Micro is not for the faint of heart. She is the best instructor EVER. You will learn and you will EARN your grade. Most Flexible instructor EVER. She was a Godsend for this Full-time working student. She'll respond to emails fast(she's a night owl)- tho not required- her lectures are the MOST instructive- she provides many resources.

Sometimes, in our lives, we get to have a teacher that truly cares and inspires you. Dr. Forrester is that teacher. SHE IS HARD! If you do well on the first two exams the pressure is significantly reduced. Nursing students stop adding tons of pressure on yourself. i got into school with STRAIGHT B's

Dr. Forrester is one of the best professors I've encountered. She is a gifted educator, designing exercises and group games that allow students to learn in several different ways, not just "lecture". Her stories especially help with cementing concepts and committing them to memory. Just a phenomenal teacher and very fun! (hint: register early!)
