I hated Algebra prior to taking this course. It was a tough. Prof. Smalling made me understand Algebra that I could not understand from several teachers prior. I completed this course online and ended up with an A.. Take her class if you don't understand Algebra. Trust Me

Took her College Algebra class online during the summer. Would definitely take her again! Bookwork and sample tests are not required but are bonus points. All you have to do is the midterm and final which you print out and have a week or more to get them back to her, either by fax or email. I'm not a math person at all and got an A in her class.

The study guides and HW are exactly what will be on the test. There will be only two exams. The review is the exact same kind of questions. Great class if you want to get a good grade.

Be prepared to come to every class and stay for the entire class. Study guides and practice tests are the same material you will have on the tests. Do your homework which is very minimal and the best thing about this instructor, she believes in making the calculator do the work. Great teacher.

Easy class. DO NOT TAKE IF YOU NEED TO CONTINUE IN CALCULUS. The class is extremely easy, however, does not prepare you for further endeavors.

She has video presentations that u can rewind and watch at your own pace. Her syllabus is very short and to the point. She must have worked while studying, she is very understanding that most people juggle families, work and go to school. Love her! Just do the quizzes and homework and you will get an A.

Not interested in calculus but required to take it for something unrelated? Congratulations! This is your class. You've really lucked out. Interested in taking further math? Congratulations! You now know to avoid this professor at all costs. At. All. Costs. Absolute maximum calculator use and absolute minimum written work.

Her class is super easy. All you need is getting in group w classmate n do practice test. Test almost every 2 wks, but exactly the same as the practice test. easy A. Remember to turn off ur fone or she will deduct 5pts in the test. Miss class one day deduct 1pt. She always can find your mistake in the test = deduct 2pt/ each

If you just want to pass Calc I then this is the class for you. If you need to take Calc II steer clear. She makes everything too easy. This class is great for an easy A, but don't ask her any questions because she will answer you like you are the dumbest person alive. She even suggested that one student smack another over hearing a phone buzzing.

Awful! Confusing & makes a lot of errors in her examples. She literally told our class not to ask questions during lecture and not to see her on office hours with questions. The final review had nothing to do with the actual final exam. Attendance is mandatory, which is fine, but you cannot even leave to use the bathroom! One of the WORST!

ATTENTION ALL PEOPLE WHO STRUGGLE WITH MATH!Professor Smallings is the teacher for you. She makes you come to class everyday, but if you do, you get to drop lowest test grade, and bump up the 2nd lowest exam to the next letter grade. She has a very clear and concise system. Guaranteed to get an A or B if you come to class.
