Prof. Garcia is very nice. Yes she tells cheesy jokes, but so what. This class is easy as long as you keep up with the homework. She covers the processes in the next class. She will explain things a few times. PAY ATTENTION! after that she will tell you to go to the Math Lab. If you do the work you will understand everything.

She is awesome

best mathematics professor i have ever had. 3 simple things to pass this class, 1. show up to every class 2. do ALL your hw early and make sure you understand it. 3. go to the mathlab or get a tutor even if you understand the concepts. you prob need it since your in mat0020 anyway. most do. be responsible and do these 3 things you will pass easily.

I took both Mat 0012 and 0020 with Professor Garcia and have to say she is a caring teacher. Math has always been difficult for me but with hard work, doing all assigned h.w. and lab wk. along with going to the math lab she will do her best to help you pass her class. She is a gem.

Professor Garcia is a wonderful, caring educator who cares for her students. She will do all that is possible to help her students pass her class. One of a kind person who truely loves what she does, TEACH! Study, do your work, go to the lab and chances of passing is great.

MAT0020... She is great. I recommend her! She cares about her students. She will do everything in her power to help you pass the class. She is pretty goofy. Very interesting sense of humor. As long as you're willing to do the work, this class will be easy.

She is wonderful! If you are lazy, don't take her class because she will give you a lot assignments (practice is essential in algebra). In conclusion, I think she is a very good professor, she gives many opportunities to bring your homework, she will help you as much as she can.

The best professor ever! She makes you love math. You have to do the homework, otherwise, you will not pass. So don't be lazy. She is extremely helpful, she loves teach and is very patient. She is the perfect math professor.

She is awesome! My favorite professor! I took mat0012 and mat0020 with her, and i don not regret it at all. She is very helpful, she really cares about her students. Now I love math just because of her! she makes everything so easy to understand!! 100 points to her! :-)

You would be a fool not to take her as a teacher. She gives 5 test and 5 quizzes. She gives homework, lab work, and extra credit all worth 5 points each which can help your grade out. I could go on all day about how great she is, but I would def. take her!

I absolutely love her teaching style! She is very caring and helpful and is very much devoted to helping her students progress in learning math. If you struggle with math, she is the best person to take if you want to truly do well. She is very clear and detailed with teaching the lessons, so it's hard to become lost in her class. Take her!

She knows what she is doing but she isn't that good of a teacher. I am stressing too much because I am failing and she hasn't helped me as much as I wish she could.

She is a great teacher. She does drag on about herself or the material at times. But will go out of her way to help anyone in her class. Her teaching style is firm and rigorous but in a caring way. She will give plenty of work and wont hesitate to reiterate her points. She is not my way or the high way at all. Pays attention to individual needs.

Her class is easy. She gets off topic a lot with her own personal life which gets annoying because, well we want to learn, pass, and get out. She kind of makes fun of the students if you get a bad grade in front of the class and tells the class other students personal things. Not nice. Besides that she is a good professor and helps you pass.

She is always willing to assist you. Gives gives out clear and resourceful handouts that pertain to each chapter. Keeps us organized. I think she's a very interesting professor who has interesting stories to share about herself, which keeps class fun and conversational. A great teacher to seek for any math level!

She's a great professor..Extremely understanding and if you respect her she will gladly give her respect back. She goes really slow in her lessons so everyone can comprehend. I'd recommend her to anyone :)

Professor Garcia is a very dedicated Professor. She will put the same level of dedication as you put into the class. She is always there to help. Handouts are given at every class to help you, she is very organized and homework is required. Which in a prep class is very important. If you are dedicated, you will pass.

She was nice enough to come around && give us feedback on the day of the final, so I cannot complain about that!!! ;]

Mrs. Garcia is a great teacher. She takes the time to review and incourage us to do the homework assigned and questions.If you're failing this class it's because your not taking the time to do the homework, being late to class and not asking questions.

She is awesome! Very helpful and will work with you as far as understanding a certain section or chapter goes.. Do your HW and study, and this will be an easy class!

Preofessor Garcia has to be the best math professor I had. Me and her did not see eye to eye at first but after i passed her class I understood that she only pushes her students becasue she want her students to succeed in math. She will stay with you after class and explain any math problems you dont undersatnd. I highly recommend Professor Garcia!

AMAZING Professor! Take her if you can! If you want things explained in a easy to understand way, then she is the one for you. Has endless patience, regardless of how long it takes you to understand the problems. She is a true educator. Getting you to understand how to do math is what she is most concerned with. Professor Garcia is the one to take if you struggle with understanding math. She explains everything in easy to understand terms. She gives extra credit just for doing the homework. You cannot ask a stupid question in her class. She treats all questions with respect and importance and will show you several different ways to solve the problems.

For students who do not understand math, take Prof. Garcia's class. she is very patient and helpful. If you pay attention and you are willing to learn multiply ways of solving problems so you can find the one that help you understand, then she is the one to take. As you find the format that works, you will be glad you signed up.

Excellent teacher. The real bonus is she will teach you different ways to solve the problem, choose what works for you. Come to class to learn. Do not be afraid to ask this professor questions, she will answer without making you feel dumb. Professor Garcia will stay late to help. If you want to learn Math this is the professor for you.

I wish I could take her for all my classes. If you work hard, she will work hard with you. I was afraid to take math again, failed before, not with her, she is there for you and helpful! Stays late and doesn't rush you. She has tons of notes online you can use! She actually got me to enjoy math. I promise you won't regret choosing her!

Professor Garcia gives an outline to the class on the very first day. She gives great notes, Read and use them, that's how you will pass this class. She makes class fun. A no nonsense person- So be respectful! Do your homework. Ask questions if you don't understand. Communicate with her. She will stay behind and help you where you need it.

She is a great professor and truly will help the students she knows that are willing to learn and grow. She keeps class entertaining by making jokes here and there. She will help you to pass and will do one on one after class if she has time.

Professor Garcia is very nice but don't get on her bad side. She will work with you to get the best possible grade. Homework is done on my math lab really easy. She gives a lecture all class and then assigns homework test are very simple just do the homework and you'll be fine. Lots of extra credit really recomend you do it.

She is very committed and involved with the class. She will show up early and stay late. She will promptly answer emails. She will look over your test, and point out mistakes before giving you a final grade. Is definitely "Old School". Make a point to shut your phone off before entering the class, not to talk during the class, the basics.

Best teacher to take for math! She explains step by step at the perfect pace! Ive always had trouble with math and hated it but she makes it better! She hilarious too!

I took this teacher as my MAT0022 teacher . She was very nice , and patient. She can get roudy and mad when you disrupt class , or dont pay attention. But if you do all the homework on my math lab , and write descent notes you will be sure to pass the tears&quizzes she give. She is a very easy teacher to take just be respectful & pay attention.

She instructs the class at a medium pace and teaches the material clearly. She also provides you with quality handouts and doesnt mind helping students who put forth effort in class. If you respect her she will respect you. As long as you pay attention, ask questions, do the HW, do extra credit, and write good notes you will do well in the class.

Taught at a medium pace but will spend time as needed to review anything not understood. As long as you are respectful and LET HER TEACH, you will learn everything needed. More old school when it comes to grading but all grades are clear as day and retuned back to you quickly. Overall a great class and learned a lot.

Gives extra time for tests, stays after if you need too, very kind and cares about her students. She wants the best for her students. Gives lots of helpful and very useful handouts. Takes time going over lessons to make sure that everyone in the class understands the problems and is ready for the tests and quizzes. She gives extra credit on tests.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Great teacher really wants you to understand the material. Always gives excellent feedback on work that really helps you understand the problems. Very respectful and cares about her students. Puts in a lot of extra time in to help her students.

While her personality may not be for everyone she is a solid teacher. Sometimes gave confusing explanations but as long as you do the homework you will pass. a handful of people dropped the class but everyone left is passing and almost everyone has an A. She offers extra credit and is usually available for help.

She is an amazing professor , when something was not understood she would go an extra mile and more to explain , she will push you until you see the mistakes you making and then explain how to solve the problem but makes you work for it so when explained you know exactly what to do next I will give professor Garcia a ten star if possible

The class is fantastic. The exams are well made and portioned appropriately. The instructor is funny, knowledgeable, and willing to help students. I'm reading some of these comments and I cannot believe these are talking about the same person I know. This Professor is amazing. She helps her students in class. She asks if there are any homework questions. I don't think she could've made the class any easier. I guess you just have to get to know someone for yourself.

There is a lot of homework in this class. But the homework is important because it helps you with learning the material thats going to help you pass the exams. Professor Garcia literature reviews are very informative and she really tries to help everyone pass the class. But you got to to your part.
