Great instructor. Best Calculus 2 instructor available at MCC. Makes the material very easy to understand and the tests are very fair. Homework is required.

Quite possibly one of the more organized and professional professors. Makes the material very understandable, and never puts any questions you haven't ever seen her test's. Great review's for tests.

Judy was an awesome teacher!! This was by far the easiest math class I have ever taken because she is such a great teacher. She made the material so easy to understand and provided extra help for those who needed it. The homework is not rediculously long and doesn't ruin your grade if you don't do it. But it will definitely help your grade.

I purposely went to find Judy out of all the math teachers here. She makes the material understandable to students and teaches it very well. As to homework, with any math class doing it is pretty important. The exams in this class were fair and did not pop any sudden surprises.

Judy Huber is a very organized in her teaching, she knows exactly what to teach and how to teach it. Huber is an all around perfect instructor. She knows that not everyone enjoys math, so she makes it enjoyable! Her learning strategies are simple, and if they're not she will give other examples. Her class room environment was comfortable too, and I took her class in the summer at an excel pace. I did fine and I didn't enjoy math until I had her :)

Best math teacher I've ever had. She makes difficult concepts very easy to understand. If you regularly attend class then you'll get an A. If you don't, then you will have to put in extra effort to get caught up. She gives just enough homework to make sure that you get good practice but doesn't overload you with assignments. I highly recommend her.

Mrs. Huber is the best math teacher I have ever had! She is so nice, upbeat, down-to-earth, funny, helpful and really explains the material that she is lecturing on! If I could have her as a teacher for all my other math classes- I would!! I recommend Mrs. Huber very highly!!!! I will miss her!

I like math, it comes easy to me. I got bored because of the slow pace of the class because she explains EVERYTHING. (which is great for some people) She is incredibly helpful and a very nice person. Took Trig in High School which made it easier. Homework was short and easy. You turn it all in the day of the test which was awesome. Tests were fair.

Great professor, she is very helpful and knows her material. Does an exam review on the day of the test every time, lowest test score was a 95. Take her if at all possible!

You MUST take trig with Prof Huber. I am a fairly smart person, but not a "math" person. Huber's class made me feel like perhaps I CAN be a "math" person. She explains the subject so well and is more than fair with her grading and attendance policies. Extremely nice, helpful, understanding and compassionate. DO NOT TAKE TRIG WITH ANYONE ELSE!

BEST Teacher EVER! She is extremely helpful and cares about her students and how they're each individually doing. She has sat with me after class for 45 mins to help me after I missed class. She explains everything perfectly & makes math so easy, first A I've ever got in math was in her class.DONT TAKE ANYONE ELSE SHES AWESOME! Also shes hilarious!

BEST TEACHER EVER!I took this over the summer while taking an additional 8 cred class and got an A with her. Her study guides are awesome and her tests are so easy if you look over the guides. She's so nice and funny and teaches in a way that you will understand even if math is another language to you like it is for me! Don't take anyone else!

She is such a great professor, makes the material easy and clear to understand. she aso those a review on the board before test, the reviews are very comprehensive and useful.. she pretty much reviewws every question on the test on the board b4 you take the test. there are daily quizzes but they are easy points,

I took this fall 2012, this teacher was easy to understand and she explained things very well and clearly. She was more than happy to explain and help with any problem. Homework was required, but not a huge portion of your grade. Test had similar problems so Its worth your time. Over all I recommend Julie Huber for any Math course.

One of the BEST math teachers I've ever had, she made math simple which is something I thought could never happen. She explains things amazingly, and if you don't understand something she'll show you two different ways to do it. I thought she paced the class wonderfully and this was the first math class I've taken without struggling through it.

Can't say math is easy/interesting for everyone but being my worst subject I received an A+ in her class. All of her homework is written and straight from the book but you get all the answers to check your work. Is great at explaining everything including the "why" concepts work. Highly recommended and absolutely loved her class!

She has a way of taking complex concepts and breaking them down so they're easy to understand. I took trig with her and I gotta say she is one of the best teachers I ever had. Do the homework, it's not worth a lot to your grade, but it is essential for practicing the concepts. She really does try to make it easy on you.

Calc 2 w Huber was amazing, she is so goofy! She teaches you what you need to know, doesnt overwhelm you with useless info like other teachers. Calc 2 was my faveasiest calc class bcuz of her. Her notes are great, I still have them and refer back to them when I need to. The class simplicity scared me but I was WELL prepared for calc 3! Take her!

Excellent professor. Very fair grader, and her test study guides are VERY indicative of what will be on the tests. Homeworks are listed at the beginning of the semester and due before the chapter test, which is a plus. Do the homework, go to lectures, and you'll pass. Can't recommend her enough. Go out of your way 2 take her if you struggle w/ math

This teacher has a gift. She has this amazing ability to make learning math easy and you'll find that you never have questions because she's just that good. She's also extremely reasonable and kind. I highly recommend her for trig or calc 2

Professor Huber makes Trig so easy!!! She is an amazing professor and she teaches trigonometry to the point you actually understand it. Homework isn't due until the test date and she gives partial credit. Great lectures. Tests are easy. She is entertaining as well. Wish I could have her for Calculus! Taking Cal 2 right now at Red mountain campus and almost done. Funny, considerate, explains materials very easily. I thought Cal 2 would be hard to learn but she teaches core topics and techniques very effectively and all you have to do is participate in her lectures in order to get an A. Easy, fun and inspiring.

Judy Huber is amazing! If you have the opportunity to take her for any class (I took her for Trig) then do it! She is extremely reasonable with her expectations. I have previously only got a 88% in math but I got a 97% in her class and didn't have to take the final - that's how well she prepares you. The best math teacher I have ever had.

I've had many teachers who teach the basics of the lesson very well, and then challenge you on the test/quizzes where the material is almost foreign. Huber isn't like that; from her lectures to her exams, she keeps it basic, and she teaches it VERY well. Whether or not Mathematics, let alone difficult Math, is your thing, you'll be in good hands.

Huber's teaching is very effective and there's only been one person who dropped compared to the 20 who dropped from my Calculus I class. Most difficult thing about her class, I'd say, is keeping up with the homework; she assigns a bit of a handful (multiple sections due each chapter; not daily), but not too much/different compared to high school.

TAKE JUDY HUBER! If you're not good at math or you're nervous for a high level class, take Judy Huber! She is amazing at explaining everything. She is so approachable; asking questions is so easy (some teachers make you feel stupid for not knowing; not Judy!) Normal amount of homework, fair grader, funny, amazing. Never done well in math until her!

Prof Huber was terrific! always there to help. quick with emails. If you give effort this is a great class. If I had any Q's, Huber would spend extra time to help me understand. I took this class over summer and it was a solid class. Her lectures are straight forward, and she teaches out of the book so if you have questions and don't like asking for help you can probably figure out , however if you do ask questions she's super helpful. Do your homework and study for the tests you'll be fine even if you aren't a math wiz.

She is very good at explaining complex calculus concepts. She does not try to give you too much homework, but there is enough to practice your math skills. Her tests are like the homework, but different. She is very caring and helps you understand if you are strugglinh.

Took summer trigonometry with her and absolutely loved it. She is a wonderful teacher and I would recommend her! If you have questions she will break it down for you and always gives partial credit on tests if work is shown. Again, she is really great!

I took the summer course for MAT182 (Trig). Professor Judy loves her students and strives for their success! She provides detailed feedback and is extremely accessible outside of class. Also, if a student did well enough they were exempt from taking the final. BUT Prof. Judy makes you work for it via LOTS of HW and mandatory attendance.

Calc 2 is supposed to be one of the hardest in the calc series. Mrs. Judy teaches the material well, gives lots of partial credit on tests if you don't always get the exact right answer but the work is there, Tests are not over the top hard as some math teachers do. Do the homework, study your notes and you will do fine.

Judy is one of the best math teachers I've taken! Calc 2 is supposed to be the hardest out of all three but she makes it easy to understand and fun to learn. Amazing class and professor. She answers homework/lecture questions. She plans out the class schedule a week in advance for students. Her study guides are exactly like the test. Gives some extra credit. The tests aren't made to be impossible but rather to prove you understand the material very well. Do well enough you won't have to take the final!!

Best professor hands down. I suck at math, but she went through each lesson very thoroughly and made sure we understood it, if we didn't, she would teach it a different way. She cares for her students and her students success, she can tell when others don't understand and she will asks questions and patiently wait for them to catch up (myself lol)

Professor Huber has been a breathe of fresh air behind the masks of everything going online in 2020. Her pre-recorded lectures are easy to follow but I wouldn't do the homework without watching them first. Her live online lectures are often short, going over questions about hw and a short quiz mainly for attendance.

She is a very nice teacher. Watch pre-recorded videos and do test reviews before an exam. You will be fine...

For doing math online (again) this class was really nice and super helpful, she answers all your questions and makes sure you understand the work.

The best trig professor ever!!! I went into this class very nervous thinking I was going to struggle. Although, I couldnt ask for a better teacher. All of her lecture videos are on youtube and super helpful. During live class we would go over and questions and take a short quiz. The review basically outlined everything that was on the test! LOVE!!

She is one of the best professors I've had. She made calc 2 feel survivable and was extremely considerate of the difficulties of online class. Great professor, wish she taught calc 3. You earn the grade you get, I was close to an A but just missed out but i can only blame myself, not the professor because she gives you all the opportunities.

Take her class. been a student for 10+ years; take her class. Clear Examples, step by step instructions and exams follow this format. detailed notes and following through on the homework will push you towards getting that A.

Such a caring professor. Shes very flexible and her homework load isnt too much. Making sure you dont fall TOO behind. You have to watch lectures and do the hw before class, in class she answers any hw questions and then makes you do one quiz on it. Very simple not too complicated. Definitely take her if you can!

Ms. Huber is such a caring, funny, and in general an amazing professor. She teaches trig in such a way that it's hard to not understand the material! I was so scared of taking math online, but I'm so happy to have taken her class because it went so smoothly. Highly recommend her!!!

Professor Huber is easily one of the best teachers I've ever had. You can really tell she cares about student success and focuses on building solid fundamentals. Calc 2 is not an easy class, but she made it as easy as it possibly could by doing the daily in-class quizzes and testing us on exactly what we practiced in class.

Professor Huber is great. Straight forward pre-recorded notes, lectures mostly involve going over questions about notes/homework. Easy quizzes and exams have study guides. Best math teacher I have ever had, made learning trig easy compared to most (I assume).

Huber was an amazing math professor! I was scared senseless going into Calc 2, as my Calc 1 class was online and I didnt feel that I learned the material. Even with that she explains content well enough that you actually learn regardless of your Trig or C1 teachers. Definitely will take her again if I had to!!

In calc 2, her teaching isnt complicated. A good portion of her teaching focuses on the fundamentals, so if you arent a math major, and just need until calc 2 for your major. Take her!

Best math professor I've ever had in my life. I hate math but I would gladly take one of her classes again. She takes a lot of time to help answer students questions and is very accommodating. I had an 89.5 and she was very understanding and rounded up my grade. It is a difficult class, but she makes sure to help you succeed. Wonderful professor

Take her Trig/Calc2 class! Best instructor I've had so far! Her pre-recorded lectures are thorough & help with the HW. Class involves asking questions over HW then 1 EASY quiz. If you do the HW & work on the review she assigns, the tests will be a breeze! She's also very kind and won't make you feel stupid asking any/all questions you have.

Professor Huber is an absolute DELIGHT. We must protect her at all costs! She doesn't throw in annoying stuff you learned in 12th grade to trick you, her tests are fair and to the point. She's always kind and earnestly tries to help you to understand things and 9.5/10 she succeeds! I wish I could take her for all my math courses! <3 :)

Mrs. Huber is fantastic! Even the other students in my class were pleased with her. She cares about her students, and doesn't try to trip you up with overly difficult problems. Her notes and HW questions go hand-in-hand and the test problems are similar to the HW. Follow her reviews and you can score an A as well.

I love this professor! You can turn in work late for full points, shell explain things in different ways to help everyone understand, & she is genuine. You take notes outside of class & ask questions on the homework in class but her notes are clear & diligent. Her tests are like the homework w different numbers. Simply show work & you earn points

Mrs. Huber was an amazing professor. She makes sure that you understand the coursework. Would recommend to all. Be aware that she uses a textbook to teach Trigonometry and will be doing the homework as of doing all the odds, like high school. She will also do a small quiz at the beginning of each lecture to test what you learned last class.

CALC2: Professor focuses on what needs to be thought. Lectures are easy to understand and she really enjoys teaching math. Professor provides practice exams similar to the actual exams. Watching her lecture videos before going to class is highly recommended. Homework is self paced and its submitted in sections. Don't fall behind. xx

Dr. Huber was one of the most approachable and caring teachers I have ever had. It was clear that she really wanted to see students perform well. She explained things VERY well and was straightforward about what was on the tests. My brother and I really enjoyed having her as our instructor. We would highly recommend her.

Judy is so intelligent and hilarious and can explain the material in terms that are easy to grasp. She always responded to my emails and would directly answer questions instead of beating around the bush. There's a lot of content covered, and she moves very fast, so it's crucial to pay 100% attention. Offers extra credit questions on a few exams.

Professor Huber's class is one of the best math classes that I've taken. Even though Calc 2 is hard to grasp at times, Professor Huber makes it as simple as she can. Her tests are straightforward forward and for some of them, she lets you use a sheet of notes (even the final). If you have the opportunity to take her class, DO IT.

Took her for calc 2, one of the best teacher's I have ever encountered in my life. She is there for you to learn, not to make it difficult. If I could take her for all my college math's I would. She gives us formula sheets and allows us to bring them to multiple exams and the final which is RARE IN CALC 2. Yes calc 2 is hard but she makes it easy

This was the best experience in any math class. Please take this professor and you will not be disappointed. Pay attention in lectures and do the homework on time and you will get an A guaranteed. Please be in class ready to learn and do work on the board on some days. Best professor at MCC!

Prof. Huber teaches in an easy-to-understand way. At the start of every class, she would ask if students had questions from the homework and would go over them. She would review content before each test. We were allowed to create a formula sheet for the final. Excellent overall, will plan on enroll in her other math courses in the future.

I truly respect professor huber, She's very understanding and kind. She teaches math in a way that even if you weren't talented in it, you will grasp the concepts very well, at the very least well enough to pass. Not to mention that she's funny. Second time taking a class with her. Truly one in a million when it comes to professors.

Amazing teacher. I've taken her for college algebra as well as calc 2, and I loved these classes! She's able to answer questions well, makes the content straight forward, and is very clear when teaching. I would take her for calc 3 if I could.
