She sell her booknote on the bookstore. Everything you have to study is in her booknote. I dont think you have to buy the school's book in her class. Everything is in her notebook. She's very cool in class.

Very Cooool! She is an excellent choice, would highly recommend her. The class is fun, she loves to talk about her family and movies. Bonus quizes help a lot on the exams, pay attention in class and take notes.

very great teacher for students who wants to learn and understand the concept really understanding but not a baby feeding meaning its hard if u don't pay attention and read the book and lecture notes. recommended to all who are serious about school.

Excellent Professor. She talks dirty so it makes it really funny. Don't take her for summer unless you have your head on a swivel. I just got my final grade for summer 1 and it's an "A" She really knows her stuff and usually detailed on test reviews.

Dr. Solti is an awesome teacher; she's the "Steve Irwin" of Biology imo. I wish there were more professors as passionate as she is about what they teach, and I will miss her dearly. Her classes are exciting, but you have to seriously study to get an A. Her study guides are so good that I bought the 1407 even though I transferred to a 4yr school.

It's funny that one person said Dr. Solti teaches Biol 1301...She only teaches 1406 & 1407 moron. You must have failed anyway stupid,not because of her but because of u. Solti is an awesome instuctor who makes Bio interesting. Bonus points earned on quizzes go towards ur test grade. WOW!! She is funny and genuinely cares about Bio and her students. Not a slacker course, but worth the effort. After her class, maybe I'll even switch majors..shes that good! she's awesome and makes bio class awesome too!

Dr. Solti is defineitely one of the best teachers I have ever met. She cares about her students and loves her job. She makes class fun and exciting. The student earns the grade they receive. Noone is given a grade. You are expected to put your best foot forward! Even though I am not an A student, I still adore Dr. Solti

Dr Solti is an awesome professor. She is very straight forward for what you have to study for the exams. But, it is not a blowoff class you really have to put in the time and effort to get the desired grade. Study with flash cards and you should end up with a decent grade.

Dr. Solti is one of the best professors I have had. I very much enjoyed coming to class everyday. One of the things that I loved about her is that I never felt like there were any gray areas as to what was expected of her, and what she expected of us as students. She makes bio fun. She is always cracking jokes about biology or her family. But she gets down to business. Bio is a hard subject but she gives plenty of notes (already typed for you) and quizzes to boost your test grade. Her lab is pretty easy too. Just study her notes and her reviews and you'll do fine. She's great, highly recommended!

Great teacher she makes it fun and easy to learn. Her reviews are key to passing her test and her quizzes are extra credit which makes it easier for someone to pass. Even thought shes easy you Must study for her test which it really easy learn and not confusing at all.

Dr. Solti is an excellent teacher. BIOL 1407 is much easier than 1406. I would definitely recommend taking her for any science course that you need.

Best sciences teacher I've had to date. Her teaching methods are extremely organized, so missing class can hurt, but attending will promise good grades. If you actually pay atention and participate in her class you will pass. She is very friendly and takes time to get personal with students. Dr. Solti is a must if taking any of her offered clesses.

She's easy to understand, very clear on her teaching basically highschool level. BUT her test are college level. Bring ur book & her notes to class & take notes on her slides (figures). U might complain how hard it is, but u will thank her later as she saves u from looking or feeling dumb towards the next level.

We complain about Professors being hard. I passed Dr. Solti's class w/ a B & on 2nd start, fast paced class. Am I FOREVER GRATEFUL for her taking time to make sure we understood her lectures. Don't take ur Professors for granted ya'll! They do deserve a thank u card in the end as u will still be needing their lecture notes for next level.

I went into Biology a little worried about not being able to understand the subject. Dr. Solti's teaching method is GREAT, she helps her students so much to understand Biology. She connects mostly everything with real world happenings/experiences so it makes Biology easier to understand. She makes ton of jokes so class is always lively. I 100% guarantee she is the best. In addition, your education is her priority so that's a real plus. You won't regret having her class, at all.

DR. Solti's expertise really showed in her delivery! If anyone failed it was because of their own inhibitions. She definitely kept the class interesting and all had a chance to participate and ask questions! You did have to apply yourself, there was no given. You got out of it what you put in!

Simply the best prof. in biology. She connects everything together in a simple way for novice to understand. She will get you ready for premed and predent. i would take her agian but talks about alot of random stuff i.e. her dog and kids for at least half the class then everything speeds up at the end of the semester, can be snappy but overall nice, she speaks 'freely' likes to joke, easy labs, if you know even alil bio dont buy textbook just buy her notes from bkstor, gives HW, tons of extra credit

If you don't get an A in this class you better not be a science major because Dr. Solti makes it very easy with extra credit/service learning/study guides to make a good grade. She is hilarious and often will cuss for no reason. Most exciting biology class ever.

The BEST TEACHER EVER!!! Classes are never dull. Makes all material relatable and intersting. Your given quizzes before the four lecture exams which are used as bonus points for your test as well as other oppourtunities to do well in the class. Don't expect her to do all the work though..you MUST study if you expect to see any results.

She's the one of the few that make you look fwd in going to her class. There's never a dull moment in this class. You'd be a fool if you fell asleep in this class. A good teacher in general, and a VERY good teacher to take for summer session. She understands that a one-month course HAS to be streamlined. Unfortunately, not all profs get that. You won't use the textbook much, so you might not want to buy it at all. Overall, she's one of the best profs I've had at HCC.

Very knowledgeable no nonsense professor, who keeps the class awake with her vibrant personality. Her jokes helped me remember the biology stuff. It is not an easy A but with hard work you will get an A. Get her notes from the book store that is what she lectures on. The book is helpful for the labs & lab exams, the older edition book will work.

Her class is incredibly easy. She gives out a review sheet that almost every single question comes from. Be warned though, she is crass, unfiltered, and I would compare it to listening to Lewis Black lecture for hours. It can be grating. She also spends literally an hour or more a day getting sidetracked about family. But it's super easy.

I took the summer mini semester from Dr. Solti. She uses her own set of notes for lecture and are pretty much a must have for the course. She also has a review sheet for every test that has all of the material and detail that will be on the test. During lecture she tells stories and gives memory tricks that really help you remember the material.

I will never forget the day Dr. Solti asked a fellow student about her country of origin. The girl replied," I'm from Palestine". Dr Solti's response? "Baby, Palestine doesn't exist". If you want a good biology prof and a inspirational speaker, she is the one. Tests are okay, 50 MC and 10-12 bonus on every test. She also offers 2 events each for 10 bonus points. If you're looking for a BIOL 1407 professor choose Dr. Solti. Lectures are long because there's so much material to cover however she manages to make it simple. Every powerpoint is online, which you will need for her exam. She does tend to go off topic during lecture but it's amusing tidbits of her life. Dr. Solti is very outspoken!

Professor Solti is awesome. She clearly explains material and is happy to answer any questions you may have. She is available in class and outside of class via email and text. She is one of the best professors I have had.

Dr. Solti is a very nice and friendly professor. She's very friendly with the students and straightforward. She gave us bonus quizzes to improve our grade before each exam. Moreover, she always tried her best to answer all the questions that you misunderstood. Dr. Solti had a horrible situation this semester, but she stayed strong and got over it.

Miss class ? you won't pass because she does a great way of lecturing & tells you right off the bat what will be on the quizzes & tests. She may come off as a mean Professor but she isn't, she's the sweetest & her foul language & sense of humor makes class more enjoyable. She does give out extra credit & curve grades if class average are bad.

This professor is the best one I've ever had so far. She's funny and makes the class interesting. She also tries her best to give us enough extra credits to help us pass the class. Professor Solti genuinely cares about her students and loves them.
