Easy computer class, very nice teacher and book work is very thorough
very good
She is great teacher!
Nice teacher, can get frazled easy thought. Good class.
"Gets frazzled easily" is quite true, but so is "very easy". Great GPA booster.
Easy class, she is very unorganized and the class is chaos.
Easy course, amusing instructor. Gets easily flustered.
Gets upset when the routine is changed. Very flighty
This was my easiest class in all of my undergrad work. Here or WMU

shes verry laid back, she WANTS you to do good
nice, helpful, and easy...my kind of teacher
Very good teacher, gives lots of work, lets students work at their own speed.
She gives lots of work, is friendly and likes her students. She is knowledgable
Judy makes class enjoyable. She is very helpful and knows computer graphics.
Good Personality. Very helpful. Explains well.
Very nice person. Very clear
Judy is a very good instructor. You know what you need to do. Is helpful.
mrs. bezile is a great prof. she wants you to do well in the class and shows you what you screwed up on so you know exactly what to fix on assignments.
She is a very easy going teacher and comes from an art background, which is a bad thing, considering she is teaching a computer class. There were many times that she had no clue what was wrong with the computer. My favorite time had to be when one of th
Very nice. You can do most of your work at your home computer, but what will you do in class? She's always there to help. Treat her nice or I'll get ya!
Very nice person, but a horrible teacher for this class. Had no idea how to use the software, and never could answer student questions.Very difficult if you aren't an art major, she's expects perfection, which is almost impossible.
judy is a very nice person, but knows absolutely nothing about computers. it's sad when all my fellow students are coming to me for help, and i really don't know much at all about computers.
Awful teacher! Should definitely retire! Doesn't know a thing about what she's teaching. Doesn't come prepared and messes up grades. Most of the students in her class know more about the subject than her! Students deserve a better quality education!
She is a sweetheart, but really doesn't know the programm that well, relies on students to answer their own questions. But she does let you work on your own in class, so it's nice when you know what you're doing and just want to work.
More like you typical grandma that doesnt know what the heck she is doing on the computer - I saw her mess up kids projects more than once and not know how to fix them. If you do have her, don't ask for help unless you're desperate.
Nice but not organized. Often said things like, "Oh, I should have done THIS exercise BEFORE that last assignment." Expects students to get help from Geno or other students. Said mice in class needed to be replaced, still wanted great results.
Nice teacher. She helps and appreciates the work you put in. Be prepared to spend some extra time outside of class to really get a feel for Illutrator and its techniques.
Excellent Teacher!
gives you all assignments ahead of time and encourages you to finish way before finals just so you have one less to do but when you get done really fast she gets mad and won't grade your stuff until the offical due date
She Taught me well. She was very helpful to me if I had any questions.
A nice lady, but not very educated in the Computer Arts field. The classes were more of self taught classes and more likely than not you turn to other students for help. I learned a lot, but not from her. If you want an easy class, just for the credits, this is a great one. But if you came to really learn a lot, you'd be better off buying an illustrator or photoshop book on your own to figure it out.

The most disorganized teacher I have ever met. 3 weeks before the end of the semester, she still didn't know how she was grading us. Even then, she still had it set up that there were 3 points no one could ever earn.
She makes decisions about 3 seconds in advanced. She knows little of what she teaches, can not keep her grade book straight, and does not teach you anything other than what the book allready says. Very easy 100 if you do the work. You can work at your own pace also
Nice, but knows nothing about the software or even Windows. Explanations hard to follow, just work from the 3 books. If u have some CG experience, easy A. If not, u may be lost. Grading is confusing, never sure which assignments are E.C. & which are required. Helps if u ask, but hardly knows what the assignments are, may do more harm than good.
She is an easy teacher that lets you work ahead in her class and get done early.
This class is a joke. She really doesn't help you out at all and her grading is really unfair. She does however let you work ahead but expects you to lag behind with all the others during the class. Avoid this prof if you can.
A pathetic excuse for a teacher. Totally disorganized and doesn't know much about the subject she teaches; as a matter of fact she expects her students to assist her when she doesn't know something. Completely useless in the help dept and wastes time talking about her personal life. Avoid her like the plague!!
She was very disorganized. I got the sense she knew nada of the subject. Other's in class knew more than her and worked ahead. Her "methods" were annoying; i.e. grading, attendance, and teaching. This class could've SHOULD'VE been online.
Nice lady but, she is more of a preschool teacher than college professor. Easy A if you can read and follow directions--should've been an online class 'cause she really didn't explain much.
Don't listen to her if you know what you are doing. She hands out the assignment sheet with all the assignments do and you work at your own pace. The best thing to do is just blaze through it and you have to use your book. Easy A!
DO NOT MISS A SINGLE CLASS IF YOU CAN HELP IT! I missed one class and they went over an assignment and I needed that help. Other than that, easy class. You move at your own pace. She gives you assignments in packets so you can get a head really quick! I use this information a lot.
Great! Class is easy going, you go at your own pace. She is very willingly to work with you if you have problems. This is my 3rd year at Ferris/CC and she is by far one of my easiest and best prof's I've had!
Mrs. Bezile cracked me up. I wouldn't have wanted a different teacher for this class. She is a little quirky, but lets you leave early when finished with assignmens, allows you to redo things, and explains everything clearly. Not the typical computer nerd :).
Good teacher, prety easy going, she is a nice lady.I like her class.
Nice prof. Disorganized though. I was glad I knew something about photoshop and illustrator prior to taking. Sad it was an INTRO class and anyone who needed help she said, "well you need to go see a tutor" since she was teaching it- she should have taken the time to do it not just shuffled them off! She doesn't know the programs herself!!!!!!!!
Has no clue what she's doing.
Excellent teaching and instructor cares about students
Very friendly and nice. Good teacher.
Fastastic teacher. She really cares that everyone learns.
Mrs Bezile is an awesome instructor. Her teaching ability was very helpful.
Judy has no clue and seems a little lost. Teaching 17 classes and can't keep up!
Very scatterbrained and unorganized. My grades would be listed one week and disappear the next. I would ask how to do something and she wouldn't know how because she hadn't done it herself.
If you know how to use microsoft office you will have no problem. If you are planning on learning something take a different teacher.
If you know how to use microsoft office you will have no problem. If you are planning on learning something take a different teacher. She does allow you to finish ahead of time and not have to go back to class.
Time to retire when food stuck to side of mouth all day. As for class: all she does is walk step by step through the assignment in the book. Could have done that on my own. Does not answer questions very often. Assignment submission and return still being done like in 1980s. Get with the times. Use Blackboard - they offer training on how to use it.
First round of CS5 = Nicely done !
She is old and clueless. It's so hilarious. You pretty much teach yourself because she has no idea how to work a computer.
If you want a class where you can go at your own pace and like to teach yourself, this is a fun class, especially if you have a friend with you. Judy has no idea what she's doing but its cute. She's a little old to be teaching!
Bezile doesn't explain anything. If you ask her questions she will just tell you to go ask a tutor. She has NO CLUE how to use photoshop. From looking at the other reviews here, seems it has been that way for over 10 years. You will fail in the real world for any job that requires graphics knowledge as you won't learn anything. If you want to learn,
Completely unorganized and knows zip about Photoshop. Doesn?t use blackboard and takes forever to grade your work. Never really sure if I did something right because I get no real feedback that?s useful. She doesn?t know how to do the assignments herself, so you?re lost if you can?t figure it out on your own.
I took this class to improve graphic skills in my current job, not for the college credits. Turns out I know more about Illustrator and Photoshop then the teacher. Her rare explanations are more confusing than helpful. I have an elementary knowledge about graphics, but unfortunately the teacher does not. Disappointing and a waste of money.
Knows a lot about Photoshop just does not always know how to answer a question. Adobe is really the problem because they are always updating, on a yearly basis, how could anyone keep up with that. Using blackboard isn't necessarily helpful but knowing your grades is.
very poor teacher she know nothing about Photoshop or illustrator. Don't waste your time or money taking her class.
Mrs. Bezile is very polite and professional. She is always willing to help She has helped enhance my Microsoft software abilities.
Clueless. Don't bother asking any questions cause she will not know the answer. She has not done any of the assignments herself (I don't think she knows how). Will just tell you to start over or send you to the lab to ask a tutor. The class is a joke.
Pitiful teacher. Very disorganized. The students teach each other as she does not know how to use a computer or the software. Talks alot about her personal life. Her grading is unfair. Im not sure she is the one that is grading your work. Seems unfamiliar with grade when you ask about a grade "she" assigned.
She was a super nice, polite, professional lady :] I agree with the comment that said she knew a lot about her subject, she just didn't really know how to answer questions off the spot. It's like she had to think about them a bit. :)
Not sure she knows the material well enough to teach it. Cannot answer questions as she is usually trying to figure it out herself at the time she is "helping" you. The only things I learned I learned from reading the book and doing it myself.
she doesnt clearly state how to do assignments.
She didn't know the material coming into the class. She had never taught it and I am teaching myself how to do Excel. Not an effective teacher at all.
I'm in the same class. I'm suppose to take my skills learned from this class to my job. But she can't answer any of the questions because she has NO idea how to create a spreadsheet. My employer is going to want the money back. She's nice enough, but has no idea what is going on and that doesn't help me learn the software.
Shes clueless about Photoshop or illustrator. I learned everything from students or my self avoid all together regret paying for such class. unorganized.
I had her for my Excel class. Very easy. Work at your own pace. Finish early! Great professor.
Pretty much the nicest teacher in the world. Do your work and end the class early, it's really easy to get behind and screw yourself over by the end of the semester
Great instructor - she is interested in her students. I learned a lot and I was able to work somewhat independently. She helps me find answers and learn. I can use what I learned when I get a job.
Very good and fun class. The professor gave good examples and was available online and also to meet on campus for help. I loved Photoshop and the teacher was very knowledgeable. There was a lot of work but I learned a lot about Photoshop.
Really nice professor and has excellent knowledge of Office and Windows software. She provides really helpful videos to learn Office on Blackboard also. I highly recommend her classes.
Really good instructor. She is really is knowledgeable about computers and helps me learn in a very comfortable classroom. She helps students who need extra help and allows others to move ahead and finish assignments early. I learned a lot.
This was a good class and I really enjoyed the instructor. She was not only informed about the subject she was really nice and helpful. She was there for her students.
Lets you work at your own pace as its pretty much a learn on your own class. You teach yourself. If you have questions, just ask other students as she doesn't really know how to use any of the programs. Pretty easy though if you already have a pretty good idea how to use the programs. But should get another teacher if you don't.
Had her last winter. Always was unorganized and often seemed confused. After awhile stopped asking questions because she would never really answer them. Probably did not know the answers herself. Just went through the book myself. Should have just taken online.
Gets easily frazzled, especially if you ask a question. She does not know anything about how to create artwork in photoshop or illustrator. Should take with someone else if you want to learn.
Heavy workload, but got a perfect score every time on every assignment. Never receive feedback on assignments. Mistakenly submitted an incomplete assignment once and still got a perfect score. So easy to get a good grade as it seems you get credit for submitting anything. Good class if you want to boost your gpa.
She is the nicest lady but she doesn't really know what she's teaching anymore. She will give you an A on every assignment that you do and she will make sure that you pass, just don't ask questions because she does not have an answer!
Class was easy, but only because I already had a knowledge of Photoshop coming in. The professor wouldn't respond to e-mails until after the assignments were due. The only time I interacted with her directly, she had a bit of "technical difficulties", which is absurd for a computer professor.
I have had nothing but good interactions with this professor. As long as you participate in her class and do the work you'll pass.
She's very helpful and cares about her students. It seems like if you follow the textbook and do your assignment you'll do well no matter what. Easy class!
Nice, but does not know how to use the software. Doesn't seem real comfortable using computers at all. If u ask a question she is not able to answer, will refer you to a tutor that does know how to use photoshop. The tutors in the lab are very helpful and should teach the class. They know the material better than the teacher.
Wonderful teacher. Easy going. Just do the work and she will help you. Of course she is older but she knows her stuff. easy A. very flexible. def take her class. point system is super easy to understand.
Definitely quirky, but I loved having classes with her. If you aren't really interested in the class you won't enjoy the class.
She did not know how to use the software. I would have been better off taking this class online. I have 7+ years experience with Photoshop, and even when I completed an assignment in it's entirety, following every direction to a T, I would get an 8 /10 sometimes. I think she disliked me because the class met twice a week and I would only attend one
An easy A class especially if you enjoy the programs used. The books are a MUST, entire class is based off the text. An older lady, but definitely knows Illustrator and Photoshop. Easy to talk to, helps with classes you should take in the future as well. Probably would be fine taking the class online than on campus.
As long as you are serious about the class, this woman will go out of her way to put in as much as you are willing to put in. I was never left hanging, as she knows the material very well. However, she never just bails you out, she rather guides you out of wherever it is you are at, making sure that the next time you are stuck, you will know...
I took this class in person but everything was an online setup. Extremely book heavy since all the assignments came from them. An easy A as long as you did the work and turned it in. Only go in if I needed help on an assignment. If you had trouble she would always try to help. Turn in dates were very flexible.
The online class is mostly run by the website she uses. There were four assignments due per week and they took about an hour each. They were super easy as long as you follow the step by step instructions in the textbook. They were auto-graded and you have multiple opportunities to do them. Learned a lot without too much work.
This was one of the first online classes Iv'e ever experienced as a freshman. The first few days I spent in the Adobe Lab were some of the most stressful I've ever had. I felt like I was floundering to understand the concepts in the book
Had her for my online CIS 120 (intro to photoshop/illustrator) and she was one of the only online teachers who gave me feedback on assignments. Excited to have her next semester and next year for more graphic design classes, she seems like a genuinely nice lady even through an online class.
I'm taking online courses from her and have learned absolutely nothing from her. Ive just been reading the book at home and following what it says, but I'm still getting 70s/80s on my work. I emailed her about it two months ago and have continued getting trash grades for following her assigned book verbatim. doesn't seem right
its really hard
