She didn't really explain things well and I would hate to have her for lecture. She takes quite a while to respond to emails and to return papers. If you ask about what you did wrong on a paper, you don't get much help either.

She is very clear in her instructions. She speaks English well and has no accent. The only fault she has is that she grades the Lab Reports (50% of the Lab grade) extremely harshly! She takes off an absurd amount of credit if your whole paper is not in 'Passive Voice' and any mistake she finds she docks off 5-10%.

She's a very cool person, and genuinely seems to be interested in her field. However, if you're a serious biology student, you may not want to take her. Just to put it in perspective: I went to class about 50% of the time, only looked at the material before the exams, and wound up with something like a 98% average. "Easy" is an understatement.

Great teacher. Had her for 119 and 120. Very enthused about teaching and wants you to learn. She'll slip in little mnemonics fairly often, usually with silly things like a clip from her favorite metal band that some how (although, sometimes far-fetched) correlates to the subject matter. No homework. Tests are a good difficulty level. She's awesome.

Ms. Cooper is a wonderful teacher, but she does occasionally just read from her slides. She has a wonderful personality and does care about her students! Her test are not horrible, but be prepared to spend time reviewing the material closely before each test. She gives lots of extra credit opportunity too, so take advantage! Don't skip class!

She seemed nice from the few times I attended her class. She reads off the powerpoints and the powerpoints are really just a review of the chapter. Just read the book and you'll be okay. Each chapter took me around 5 hours to read and understand completely. But with 6 chapters per test, dont wait until the week before to start reading like i did.

She always read off the power points and never took attendence so its no need to come to class. Test were really hard especially if you dont study and read the book but gave a lot of extra credit opp. definitely do not take if you will go to class and not study. you must study for her tests.

The tests are nothing like the lectures, reviews, or recitations. She drops lowest test grade so that is helpful. Mediocre teacher at best but the class is definitely passable. A good portion of the class grade is based on lab, recitation, and online "quests". The rest is all exam based.

Dr. Cooper was a good teacher. I skipped most of her lectures because I could never find parking, but the ones I did attend were just read off the slides. Her tests were hard though. I ended up failing my last two tests but she drops your lowest test score with the exception of the final. She gives lots of opportunities for extra credit though.

Dr. Cooper was NOT a good professor. Does she give a lot of extra credit? Yes. Did I technically fail all of her tests? Also yes. I memorized all her powerpoints, did all practice tests, attended all lectures, read every chapter, & her tests were still impossible. She only gives extra credit to make her averages seem higher to look like a good prof

She's very interesting, and I really like her. However, her tests are notorious for being very difficult given the nature of how 'light' some of the heavy topic lectures are. She is very smart, but I think finds it hard to pass on to students. Take advantage of every extra credit opportunity, as she gives out many. Also, take every practice test.

When lecturing she tends to read off the slides so attending the lectures is not that important. She gives a lot of extra credit and as long as you do all the extra credit it is super easy to pass. I would say either go to the lecture or read the textbook you don't really need to do both.

She's a huge nerd and I love it. She's actually funny and knows her stuff. Tests are hard and you definitely need to study for them. No attendance, plus she uses Panopto so you don't really need to show. You will need to get an access code for the textbook to do the online assignments, but you won't need to actually read the textbook. Amazing pick!

Professor Cooper is arguably the best biology teacher I've had. She is very relatable, and her lectures are easy to follow. She is very friendly and typically will work with a student should an issue arise. I totally loved her Bio-120 class, and if I could've taken her again this upcoming semester, I totally would've!

Mrs. Coopers class was very easy because of the nature of her tests. If you prepare a little bit for the final, youre set. The other exams were essay questions: open resources and days to complete them. I attended the first lecture and that was all. The lab is the only remotely difficult thing about BYS120 if you take Dr. Cooper for lecture.

Everything is due on Saturdays which was odd to me and honestly caused me to miss so many small assignments. The test are also like a group ordeal and was pretty confusing. Absolutely no making up anything unless extraordinary reasons. Honestly too complicated for as simple a course as it is.

Dont ask her any question. she'll tell you to go back and read the horribly written instructions after youve already done it. Very unhelpful and unclear in instructions, causing lots of confusion. Unsure how this class can be called a beginner level, as I have never coded before and the only reason I passed was because I know friends who can code.

Since the 'emergence of AI' technology, Professor Cooper has changed her unit test formatting from being a group project to a multiple choice test. The multiple choice tests are NOT easy; don't expect to get an A without putting in the work outside of class, and taking rigorous notes in her lectures. She is willing to answer questions and emails.

Prof. Cooper is absolutely spectacular. Her lectures aren't always super relevant, but always entertaining, and she lets you out early very often. I stopped going in the last couple weeks because I had to study, but other than that I attended every one of them. Unfortunately, because of the department, this class is test heavy, but it's fun.

Dr. Cooper was an amazing professor! She was very laid back and let us out early almost everyday. She planned out her class teachings out really well. Her tests are online and can be taken wherever whenever within three days. The tests were also open note so that helped so much! My only complaint is that homework is due Saturday, not Sunday.

If you know anything about programming this is the easy class that I have ever taken. She will warn and hint toward what the problem is if you messed up something if you are ahead.

Exams were simple, open note. Labs were literally little online games (GOATED). Girl came to get her check and I have no complaints. She ate!

You can tell she cares about what she's teaching. Unfortunately she graded everything towards the end of the semester and I didn't get to improve my grade since it was too late. I was hanging at a 97 all semester and suddenly I'm tanked to a 67. Definitely on me for not doing some of the work, it would've been nice to know the grade earlier though.
