Judy knows her stuff! She doesn't just teach boring run-of-the-mill english, she does the interesting stuff! Take her, she is nice and laid back and totally will give you an A if you try really hard. So helpful and understanding if you need an extension!

Her actual classes are extremely boring, but all you really need to do are the four papers. She will give you good commentary and you get to fix and resubmit 2 of your papers. Best way to go for Advanced Comp!

One of the nicest and most sincere teachers at Millersville! She not only teaches you a lot, but helps you learn to write better and works with each student to improve their writing according to their own style. GREAT professor!!

everyone loves Judy and she is not easy. There is quite a bit of work but it won't seem bad doing it for judy. she is very flexable with due dates. I generally dislike school and going to class but i never missed her class. U MUST TAKE JUDY!

I love Dr. Judy, she's so laid back and really nice, and I like the class environment (one of the only professors I have that knows my name) She gives alot of work and it takes a while if you do it all, but it's an okay class, and she lets you write your essays in your own style, which is awesome.

i absolutely loved judy, yet the class wasnt my style. one thing's for certain-do not procrastinate! things aren't due til the end of the semester, but all those papers and prompts add up! always willing to extend a paper deadline but that can be a curse in disguise, you might end up with two or three papers due at once! take her, tho. she's nice.

There is not possibly one thing that can be said bad about Judy. She is the sweetest teacher in the world and u truly get sad when she cancel's class. I absolutly adore Judy TAKE HER!!!! But dont take her Spring 07 semester... I wanna take her again so there needs 2 be a spot for me!

may i start off by saying "good afternoon my young scholars" she is absolutely the best prof and nicest person you will ever meet. everything is due at the end of the semester, there is alot of freedom when it comes to papers. keep up with the work b/c it does add up overtime

Overall a very nice prof and an enjoyable class. I think it was the very first English class that i actually passed on a paper. she was very helpful and understanding about those circumstances that would pop up and cause problems. remember while 2 min can be a "universe of time" to finish class, it is not for cramming papers the night before.

Judy is simply one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She's very helpful, flexible, and knowledgable. There is no reason not to do well in her class. She is willing to do everything possible to help you succeed. The class itself is very relaxing and enjoyable, and the work isn't very demanding either. Take any class you possibly can with her.

Awesome attitude. Wonderful personality. One of my favorite professors, even though English isn't my favorite. The writing topics were always interesting. You never had to write about "what I did last summer" or any of that ****.

Judy is a very nice lady, but the class is a lot of busy work but it is very easy. Class is pretty boring and pretty disorganized. Things are always changing so keep up with her. BEST PERSON/TEACHER EVER. loved her so much i wish she taught everything at MU. the class is even fun. probably the only class i wanted to go to. i had pneumonia one semester and still went to her class. just ask her to turn an assignment in late and she'll be fine with it. LOVED the class

It was a joy having Judy again. Advanced Comp. was fun because Judy is absolutely amazing and incredibly kind. We had 3 papers. that's it. We did revisions for our portfolio, due at the end of the semester. The portfolio also has a short cover letter. You will be fine and you'll love Judy, just like everyone else. Which says a lot.

Excellent professor. Expectations are laid out clearly and there are no surprises. She actively involves the class in discussions and grades fairly. Class consists of three papers, weekly jounal entries, and notebook questions. Just do all the work to her expectations, and you will be fine.

One of my favorite professors of my college career. She makes class so wonderful to be in. You can tell how much she loves this subject She is very clear in everything that she asks of you. By far my favorite professor here at Millersville. In my opinion, she is the sweetest woman among the entire teaching staff, and she is incredibly helpful. You will not regret taking her courses.

Three words: take her class. She is the most helpful, engaging and inspiring professor I have ever had. Your writing will improve significantly after completing her course. The workload isn't more or less than any other upper-level writing course, but it is very stress-free. I really enjoyed the class, and the discussions that were had in it.

Judy was absolutely amazing. I've always liked English, even though I'm a music major, but I loved this class and learned so much. We covered real world topics and got to write about our own subjects. I've never been more pleased with a teacher. TAKE JUDY FOR EVERY ENGLISH CLASS YOU CAN.

OG Judy is awesome. Although it was a Gen Ed Course, having her as the professor made it one of the best classes I have ever taken. She is extremely flexible, easy going, a little quirky, and a sweet heart. English 110 was very enjoyable and laid back. I would definitely take another class with her. I highly recommend her!

Judy is a fantastic professor. I felt strongly enough about this that I requested special permission from my Dean in order to delay my graduation an entire semester just to be able to take class with her specifically (yes, really). Beyond being an approachable and caring professor with excellent feedback, Judy is an all-around great human being.

Judy is great. She understands when life happens and you need an extension or a day off. But don't take advantage of her kindness because she will see through you if you don't put any effort into assignments. Class was relatively easy and class discussions where fun. Don't fall behind on weekly journal assignments because they will add up quickly.

I love Judy and did well in her class but she can get off topic very quick Or she fixates on one topic for far too long. She takes a long time to get grades back to you, but you get the chance to revise your papers for an entirely new grade, she gives you every chance to pass just try and youll be fine
