Judy is more interested in telling you the story of her life than math. She mildly relates these 5-10 min stories at the very end to math, but so much time is wasted hearing these LONG stories. Calculus is a tough class as it is. LOTS of homework, little of it gone over in class. Pay close attention.
She is a great teacher.
She went out of her way to have a group study session on Friday mornings for anyone who had questions about anything having to do with the homework/tests/quizes. Took full advantage of it and brought my grade up to an A. Will always recommend her. Enjoy the little 5 minute story breaks from time to time after a long trig. problem.
She expects more from her Math 129 students than many other professors at TVI and UNM. Many students who take this course are just trying to get it out of the way for a core requirement. However, if you are one of these students, DO NOT TAKE Lalani. It is not worth the work or the stress.
If math does not come to you naturally, do not take her class. I learned far more in tutoring sessions than in her class. She seemed to enjoy talking about her good old days in college and her stories take up valuable class time.
If you're attending college just to get through and not really learn anything, then why go at all? Judy is an excellent teacher and will accept nothing less than excellence from her students. Generally, the higher level in math you take the more dedicated to it you are. If you're taking Trig or Calc and expect an easy class, don't bother going.
Very hard class. Be prepared to study at least 3 hours a day just to pass the class. Good luck to those who take her!
If math is not your best subject then this class and this teacher are for you. She makes math fun and interesting. She will work with you regarding any problems you have and helps to make sure you understand what is being taught. Her stories just add more humor and show she is human.Would definitely recommend her to anyone!
Always wonder what all of this math-junk you are learning is really used for? Judy gives real-life applications to the math, and makes it fun! Excellent teacher, but pretty tough.
OMG its the worse Pre calc class I have taken. She tells you in the beginning of class this will be the hardest class ever!!!!!!!! She tells you to dedicate 8-12 hrs a week to her class. I HAVE a LIFE!!! Then the projects she gives you. I didn't take ENG 150. I took math 150. She gives you info and then she tells you its some where in the book just look it up. OMG DONT TAKE HER CLASS if you have a life or can't handle a ton of work with 4 other class.

I've really enjoyed her class. She explains things well, and is happy to answer questions without making students feel stupid, and she often gives real-world applications. She also states clearly what will be on tests, which makes studying much easier.
extremly hard but well worth it in the end (you will have a good back round in pre-calc, so you can go on to calc with ease)
did not enjoy this class I felt that she was hard to understand and the topics me neede to know she blew past i did not like that she used the computer for lectures because it never worked half the time and she spent more time fixing it than on the impt issues did not like this class at all

She's a very tough instructor. She gives a 2-3 question quiz at the beginning of each class. She's funny, though, and makes the class interesting.
DO NOT take her if you don't have a STRONG background in math. She is very difficult to follow and digresses often. She knows her stuff but is not as adept at getting the information across to the "math challenged."
After reading the postings here I was reluctant to regester for this class; now that I have taken the class, I really do not understand the negative comments. Ms. Lalani is a good instructor. Homework is not graded but must be completed to make a satisfactory grade. She will always help and knows the material well.
She knows her stuff. Even has a great personality, and is easy to learn from. ASK ?s IF YOU GET LOST - SHE'LL HELP. Good stories related to the subject. Homework isn't graded but if you don't do it you won't have any idea what's going on. 4 tests, 20 in-class quizes (over homework, and for attendance), 2 projects. You'll want to get the book.
Quizzes 1st 10 min. of class,do the homework to pass them. Keep up with the class. College requires you to think & is expected. No cheat notes allowed. If your major requires precalc or higher, take her-she prepares you for the higher level math. Fill out time mgmt & grade sheets for good quiz grade, also keep a copy of voter reg. or essay on it
Good teacher. I just finish pre-cal this summer. Maintained a B throughout the course until the Final. Understanding and easy quizzes if you do the homework and review before class. I would recommend her, I would also take another one of her classes.
I think with this teacher she requires you to think, which for me has made math more interesting, she tries not to teach the plug and chug method, but to actually understand why and what you are doing.
Took calculus II with her over this last summer, did not like her style of teaching at all, and I would say the majority of the kids in the class got a C- or below as well. I'm now taking it at UNM with a Grad student, and he is at least 10 times better at explaining concepts.
If you take her pre-calc class make sure to do all the home work and a little extra! Double check due dates for the reading assignments. And if you need help just ask. She is more then willing to help you understand the material.
Extremely difficult class. Take a lot of time, do tons of homework, and study with others or you won't get anywhere. Believes that the class average should be a C, so don't expect a curve unless it's lower. Exams are difficult but she drops the lowest one. Generous with quizzes; we took about 15 and kept the top ten scores (two of those were free:
DO NOT TAKE HER! she is a horrible teacher she takes 2-3 weeks to return tests and the grades on the tests range from a 12 to 47%. And even with such low grades she still does not curve or anything. she thinks its the students fault she takes no blame for it at all. she is the worst math teacher i've ever had. out of touch with the needs of student
She establishes class policy on day one. Its clear what she expects from the student. Has good web site info. Quiz almost everyday (tosses some out). Good TI calculator is absolutely needed. Do homework or don't ****. Offers to answer questions everyday. Pay close attention to specific formulas. Bad part, late to return quizes and tests.
She is the most unfair teacher ever! I did all the homework and extra and was still not prepaired for the horrible tests. Does not teach, only proves rules and assumes from that you will be able to answer impossile applied questions. Extreamly hard! Grades on emotion.
If you know the subject well enough to test out of it then she might be ok, but if you want to learn anything DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! She makes everything way more complicated then necessary. Does not teach what the class is over, spends more time teaching what the you might need to know for the higher level classes. Do Not Waste your time & money
I've taken classes w/ Lalani for 4 semesters in a row. Kinda lax in getting projects back, but has a deep-rooted understanding of mathematics, & if you're willing to use her office hours she'll help you personally. Always open to any questions in class, & encourages them. Don't underestimate her. Do the work in a timely manner & you'll do great.
If you're an engineering/science/math major, take Lalani; she'll teach you what you need to know. If instead you just need to get a few math credits out of the way, take somebody easier. Great teacher, takes time out of her schedule to help. Slow returning tests however.
worst teacher i have had in along time...
NOT A GOOD TEACHER!
Lalani knows her math but she spends to much of the class period on tangent stories. Quizzes are set up to fool you. She makes them look easy but she throws her wrenches in to keep your grade low. Class started with 30+ students and at the end of the semester only 3 where in the class for credit.
Judy is the perfect instructor for the math geeks and engineering students. She uses alot of inside math jokes which are not really relevant and can make you frustrated and discontent with the class.Even if you keep up with the material, these little math quirks make the class harder than necssary.
Do not take this class if you are not good at math, the teacher stands up at the board and writes the problems and works them out before you even have a chance to see the problem. If you love math take this class she refers to her calc class all the time. Worst math class ive ever taken.
SHe can be a good teacher if you already know the math. But if your like most people and are taking a math class to learn it, avoid lalani. She expects you to know everything and will just breeze through problems on the board before you can write them down
Take a teacher that will inspire you to learn, especially if you love math. Lalani leaves a lot to be desired, she has NO skills WHATSOEVER in teaching. She cares VERY LITTLE about her students, or their academic needs. She is absolutely insufferable, rude, and really not a pleasant human being. AVOID AVOID AVOID taking any of her classes!!!
Made the mistake of taking Lalani, worst teacher I've had in my college career. Just a warning to anyone going into her class, don't take her unless you already know the material. Also she shows up to class late (5-20 min.) everyday. Don't bother taking her if you are easily distracted by random boring stories...she tells a ton of them...
Excellent teacher if you want to learn the material. Clear lectures, helpful illustrations, and through answers. The tests however are geared toward real understanding of the material and not just superfical knowledge of whats covered. Expect plenty of application questions and expect to THINK.
Terrible mistake taking this teacher. Takes concentration from one answer goes to another problem with another answer to answer the first question. Boring and a mistake.
Not an easy grade. She expects work. Attend class AND study the book and you will learn something! Isn't that what we're taking the tough classes for?
Awful. Plain and simple.
Will keep you interested, but you have to work HARD for your grade. Has a deep understanding of math and wants her students to succeed. TIPS: Use office hrs, do the homework (not collected/graded), and for god's sake, ASK if you have a question.
excellent teacher. funny and clear
Would be my favorite professor, except my physics professor is just as awesome.
Do not take this class unless you already know the material. Don't ask any questions unless you are prepared to be insulted. Teacher is late(5-20) minutes everyday, and makes up for it by making students stay late, regardless if you have a class right after. waste of time, money and very discouraging.
I sucked at math when I started college, now I'm a math minor. Judy is the nmost helpfull teacher I've ever had, and she was always willing to help me even if it toke a hour for me to really understand it. If you don't mind asking for help and want to truly understand the material take Judy Lalani.
not good at all. when you ask a question she rolls eyes and says you should have learned that in high school. all my classmates agreed she was horrible. returned assignments late with coffee stains. horrible teacher
DO NOT TAKE!! waste of time and money. Shes doesnt know any of the students by name. quizzes can be traps to lower your grade. spends more time telling random stories then teaching. worst professor ive ever had
there are not enough characters to describe how awful the class is structured
Gives you really easy quizzes and extremely hard tests. The entire grade is based on tests
She answers your question with a question. Test have problems that are not in the book and not discussed in class. It seems the class is designed so you can't get an A.
Welcome to college! This teacher knows what she's doing and wont slow down until you ask questions. She does problems with one hand and the other in pocket. replies with "i've been doing this for along time" expects you to have an MS in math like her. really hard exams with questions she doesn't go over. You can pass, with ALOT of studying!
Don't do it! Half the class dropped. Wondering how many of the remaining students are actually learning anything or passing. I'm now confused on problems I knew last semester!
She talks to her students like they are retarded for having to ask questions. On two of the test 3/4 of the class got below a 70. Spends time in class explaining the math behind the formulas, but doesn't teach the application.
This is the hardest professor by far I have taken for math. She doesn't take the time to explain the problem. Her tests are almost impossible to pass. I studied my butt off and had to drop because my average was a 33%. Waste of time and money and have nothing to show for it. Retakng class in the summer with someone else.
Horrible. Explains material very quickly and is insulting if questions are asked. Takes up too much time with boring stories about grad school that have nothing to do with the class. When someone asked about a particular math technique, she replied extremely arrogantly "it's not magic, it's math" but wouldn't take the time to explain it.
After reading RMP, Judy's class was exactly what I expected. I knew that she was a knowledgeable professor with high standards. She expects you to do the work assigned - not too surprising. Yes she tells stories - and all relate to the math you are learning, so you have to pay attention. She's more than willing to help you if you put in the time.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU HAVE A SOUL. She will rip it out, worst math teacher I have ever had hands down.
Teacher is extremely knowledgeable and seems to care more about proving it than teaching the students concepts. Puts questions on Exams that she didn't teach and you can't find in the textbook. She doesn't find it odd that her class average is a 40% on the first test she gives (which is always review of previous math section)
This professor is awesome. Best teacher i have ever had. She is helpful, all you have to do is look for fer. She is kind, and will do anything in her power to help you understand, even get out of her lunch early, believe me i know. She is tough, but she because if it was easy, it wouldn't be math. Take her, and talk to her, she'll help you out.
I really enjoyed Judy. She taught me what I needed to know in a fun way. She graded us well, either it was right and you get the points, or it was wrong and you didn't. She was tough but that made us learn it well. She was very fair and caring. We were also given opportunities for extra credit. I would highly recomend her as a teacher!
The class was extremely hard, which is to expected but she is very helpful and will teach the material clearly and correctly. If you put forth the effort I believe anyone is able to pass this class.
Judy is one of the best math teachers I've ever had and is one of the best at CNM. She is hard, but fair. And incredibly helpful. Attend class, do the homework, and attend office hours!
I retook Calc I over the summer to reinforce my math skills and improve my grade. Judy is hard but fair; the key is attending class, doing the homework, and attending office hours.
Learned a lot, worked hard so my A meant something. Don't be afraid to ask questions during her class or she will just roll through material. The class is hard but the SI and Judy are available to help you so use it. It helps if you have taken her class before because she emphasizes stuff in Algebra and Calc I that is important in Calc II
Lalani makes sure that you learn the material. Daily quizzes, fair exams, and extra credit offered. She is always helpful and available when needed and will make time for students outside of normal office hours. As long as you do the homework, study, and go to her office hours, you will succeed in this course.
Great teacher if you want to move forward with your math. Is extremely helpful and provides many resources to succeed in her class. If you show you are trying she will help! But in upper level Martha homework an studying is a must. She is not the teacher for an easy A but is the teacher to learn the material. Want to take her for calculus 2
very hard class, but she is helpful and very clear, only counts the highest 10 quizes out of 20. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!! its very important
She is so awful, on every test the class average was well below 40% and she did not care at all. Her lectures are not helpful and she doesn't give out any kind of test review. AVOID HER!
On all of the tests the class average was far less than 50% and she did not care at all. Lalani never grades homework, she doesn't make tests reviews. A very lazy teacher, avoid her!
She is very sarcastic, and cocky. But most smart people are. I absolutely love her. Her classes are super hard and demand study time. Take her if you want to learn and are serious about math. She is very knowlegdeable and helpful. If you are not very intelligent avoid her, but if you enjoy learning take her
I suppose there could be worse CNM teachers but this one was really bad. She barely reviews exams, some of the questions do not match the ones on the homework or the quizes, it takes a long time to get the exams back in time to look at. All these show a shocking level of imcompetence and laziness. Avoid this teacher.
If you are looking for a tough teacher who teaches you math and prepares you for the next level, Lalani is your teacher. If you're looking for someone to let you get by with the minimums….keeps looking. For the record, all of her test question come from either the homework or her handouts.
Judy was great. She was not easy, but in the end she drops many quizzes, allows extra credit, and teaches the material that I needed to know for future classes very well. Many people complain about class exam averages in her calculus classes, this is a normal occurrence and happens in all calculus courses. Particularly calculus 1.
Judy was an excellent teacher! She does ramble, but who doesn’t ….She is absolutely brilliant and is eager to answer any questions you have them, as student we have to convey what we dont get! She is by far rude, she just has a strong personality for ppl who r overly sensitive. Great Class! -word of the wise take advantage of office hours
I should have listened to my peers and not taken her class. Reading the reviews from years ago makes me wonder how she still has a job since she hasn't changed a bit. Even if I aced the class, I would retake calculus 3 due to lack of instruction. It angers me that I wasted my time, money and GPA on this class. DO NOT TAKE.
By far the worst teacher I've ever had. Every lecture consists of rambling the entire class time about food and about 5 minutes of actually going over one or two homework problems. Avoid her.
Good professor, she will really push you and IF!! you pass her class then you know calculus very well. You do need to stop her and just ask a lot of questions, but she will help and point out your weak spots in math.
She's just an awful horrible terrible teacher. She doesn't care at all for her students and puts very little effort into helping them understand. Less than 10% of her students pass her calculus classes.
Do not take her Calc 3 class for the following reasons. -She is 10 to 15 minutes late for class, EVERY class. -Takes as long as a month to return graded quiz's. -Takes over two weeks to return graded exams. -Spends half the class ranting about non math related issues. -Extremely disorganized teaching skills. -An overall lack of effort.
Dont take her, shes extremely hard. Her tests are hard and in her lectures she goes so fast and doesnt explain any of her steps and assumes you already know everything. She is very disorganized and comes late to every class.
This instructor is not for students that do not plan put forth the effort to really learn the material. She does not allow note cardscheat sheets while taking tests so memorization is essential. However, if you are paying attention she gives you many hints and tricks on what you should memorize. All tests were cumulative. Success Hard work
Took her for both trig and cac1. I like a class where you know what to expect and how much you study directly corresponds with your grade. As long as I kept up with the homework I was able to do well in the class. My only gripe is extra credit that is unrelated to math. Such as remember th e name of a dog in the story she told.
She flies through material. Hardest grader I've had. She puts obscure homework problems in the test, so make sure you know how to do them all, chances are, she will assign a that in the test. You get limited feedback on HW, you basically never know if you're doing it right, because of the limited class schedule.
Best way to sum Judy is, "hard but fair." How to pass her class is simple, Show up, take notes, ask questions, do your homework. If you get something wrong on the homework, correct it find out why you missed it, ask questions. For quizzes, if you miss something, correct it find out why you missed it. Do that and follow directions, tests are EASY
I took both trig and precalc in the same semester with Lalani and it was a ROUGH semester. She taught me a lot and helped me through calc 1 and 2. Yes she gets distracted I class and shows up late but she taught me well. The only regret I have is, I wish I did more homework. her exams require critical thinking which is necessary for success.
Tough teacher. Maybe I didnt understand her learning style but the only reason i got an A was by doing homework 5 times and reviewing tests that her previous students have taken. Wouldn't recommend her. Take David Heddens if you can.
She was late for every class, did not grade any homework, and took a very long time to grade tests. We would receive our tests right before the next test with no time to prepare. A general lack of care and effort, would not recommend unless you expect to learn everything out of class.
Ms. Lalani is very helpful, but you must ask the necessary questions during class, as well as attend her office hours. She is a great teacher to take if you are planning on moving forward in math, and more importantly, want to succeed. With that being said, she is a tough grader and her tests are by no means easy, but she fair as well.
She was late for every class, did not grade any homework, we only had online homework. A general lack of care and effort, would not recommend unless you expect to learn everything out of class. She would just lecture and talk without even asking questions or interacting with the class. She had a very abnormal teaching style and didn't care.
Judy is a good teacher. She is a bit unorganized at times and gets off topic. If you take her class, she will prepare you for the next class. Her tests are very difficult and homework isn't graded, but if you don't do the homework for her class, you will fail! She takes a long time to hand back tests. She is very helpful during office hours.
She expects students to ask questions. Until you realize the gap of understanding in your own brain she can only do so much.
Lalani is an excellent professor. Takes awhile to get used to her teaching style and bluntness. But you'll come out very knowledgable and prepared for your next math classes. Really enjoyed this instructor.
Lalani likes to talk about her self and her accomplishments. She focused more on trig identities than calc 2. She was often mean or unhelpful when asked a question. Her grading was arbitrary and returned back tests and quizzes very late. The pop quizzes are about her. I do not recommend. If you've taken calc 2 before you may pass. No curve. No HW.
This is the worst professor I have ever had. She goes off on a tangent and talks about her life for at least half of the class time. If you want to learn about what she had for dinner, go ahead and take her class; if you want to learn, however, avoid her at all costs. Picks favorites. Vague teaching style. Horrible jokes.
DO NOT TAKE ANY CLASS WITH HER. She just makes poor excuses about her lonely and miserable life and never teaches. She grades inconsistently and does not prepare you well for any test. She uses lots of food references when trying to teach. Wasted time and money with this school and her. She may know the material but should not be a teacher.
She's late for every class, and even failed to show up four or five times this semester. She rants about non-related subjects, and is condescending when asked a question. She hands tests and quizzes back a day or two before the next test is scheduled. Her teaching style is bizarre and difficult to understand. In summary, don't take her class.
Strong, opinionated personality. Does not walk you thru every step. Expects you to know stuff before you receive her lecture. Guess what, that's how real life is! This class is the first step that separates engineers from other majors. sink or swim. She is doing society a favor. Bridges will collapse if the crybabies got their easy A's.
Prof has huge breadth of knowledge applicable to course material that makes math meaningful in real life and shares that with students. Daily quizzes over assigned hw. Hw isn't graded, but quizzes are. Tests/quizzes are fair with no surprises. Offered 2 chances for extra credit. Can use up to TI-84 calcs. Challenging & intense but fun class.
study hard, you will pass
Judy is hard, the only reason to take this class is if you want to do well in Calculus. She will not hand you cookie cutter easy solutions. She is the kind of teacher who likes weird math, come prepared and you will leave inspired!!!. I told her after I sat through the first lecture that I didnt think I could hack it I stuck it out and I'm sohappy
She is very condescending. Rather then having the usual goal of teaching students and hoping for their success, she instead seems to have the goal of constantly trying to prove that she is the smartest person in the room. It's obnoxious and not conducive to learning.
Do your work, know your stuff before every class and youll be prepared. Calc isnt meant to be a cake walk its deffantly a class you need to use your head for. The people giving bad reviews probably failed lololol but shes a good teacher just be a good student and get turtoring if needed.
DONT TAKE Judy's class. She's rather unprofessional and got off MATH topic frequently. Since the homework was not required (due or graded) I did very little. The tests reflect the core of calculus and are difficult as to be expected with this material. She wasted time in each class period talking about non-calculus related and her personal stuff.
Lalani is a very polarizing professor. She knows her subject very well, and if you intend to continue with math, she'll definitely prepare you for future courses. However, she also expects you to put in a lot of work. The homework isn't graded, but if you don't do it, you won't pass. You also have to be willing to ask questions if you're confused.
She talks WAY TOO MUCH of topic!
Professor Lalani was an interesting teacher to take. While I had a hard time connecting with her at first, I found that once I figured out how she graded and what she was looking for, I enjoyed the class a lot more. She expects you to come to class with questions ready, and if you ask, she will explain for you.
HELP YOURSELF, AVOID TO TAKE HER CLASS AT ALL COST. Very unclear in explaining the materials, you have to learn everything literally by yourself.
The material itself was not difficult. However she made it difficult for students to understand. It is better to learn from online resources/from the textbook rather than listening to her explanation. Worst math teacher I have ever got.
I would describe this class as chaotic and unpredictable. Topics that in retrospect are not very complicated were made convoluted and very difficult to understand. A lot could be said to warn others, but it could be summarized like this: absolutely avoid this instructor at all costs.
Long story short, DON'T TAKE THIS INSTRUCTOR man. No and no. Just don't do it.
I got an A, sure, but I hard to bleed for it. Learnt all the materials myself. She is so unorganized man. Calculus 1 is meant to be easy, but she made it very difficult. Whatever you do, don't take this class. Tell your friends not to take it. Warn your kids as well. Run for your lives. RUN!!!
two main things. 1 Judy Lalani is one of the hardest teachers i've ever had. 2 Ive never left a class feeling more confident in my math skills. I would whole heartedly say that it is because of her that I passed calc 1-3 with high grades. My only criticism is that I don't know if she's the best teacher for lower level math since she expects alot.
seriously, you will waste your time taking her class. The only way you can get good score is by learning everything yourself. Lecture very disorganize, she teach as if you have understand everything. Never take her class!
Avoid this teacher at all costs. She struggles a lot with the Blackboard software and repeatedly failed to publish quizzes and then tried to argue with me about letting me take them the following week although I had emailed her numerous times to let her know the quizzes aren't posted. She seldom responds to emails and does not post lectures online.
This review is for Math 1240. Professor Lalani is not a professor I would tell anyone to take. The lectures are extremely messy and unorganized. Many times lectures get off-topic and a waste of time and money. She doesn't reply to emails on time so don't bother asking questions if you are online. Please avoid if possible.
For my class she was always late and especially on exam days!! She would show up 10-15 mins late with no emails saying class was canceled. Lectures are disorganized and does tend to get off topic. Im good about understanding math material, its one of my stronger subjects and I cant seem to process the material in the way she teaches.
This professor has pros and cons. She does cover everything needed but, in a way, as if we need to have known it in advance... this class is very intense I recommend it if you want something fast paced and if you are good at math, if not find another professor. Also, she was ALWAYS late, i would only take her again if I really had to
Steer clear yall. She teaches the material as if youre supposed to already know it. She goes way too fast, goes off topic frequently, is always late to class, is just isnt very friendly. She gave a quiz EVERY SINGLE DAY on topics that werent even covered in class. 10/10 do not recommend.
DONT TAKE HER CLASS!!!! She is so incredibly unorganized and off topic the only way to pass is to learn everything yourself somehow and even that is difficult because you cannot predict what is going to be on the test. She gives quizzes every class on material she never taught. She gives so much homework and its all due the same day. SERIOUSLY DON
DONT TAKE THIS CLASS SHE DOESNT TEACH!! It was the biggest waste of time and money to have her be off topic the entire class! Nobody new what she was talking about or trying to teach! She acts as if everyone already knows the material. DONT RECOMMEND
Shes always late, always off topic, and moves way too fast. Learned absolutely nothing and had to drop. 100 percent do not recommend to anyone
I'm surprised by these other reviews, she's not that bad. I do agree with some of the criticisms, sometimes she does teach the material like we already know it. She was pretty generous with grading on exams, you will get credit for demonstrating that you understand the process, even if you make an error while doing it.
This lady knows her stuff. The class moves quick because there's a good amount of information to learn. If you're in class and can take advantage of in person office hours, you should do well enough. I highly recommend office hours. I had to miss several classes and I failed. I'm taking it again with her because her teaching style is great
Professor Lalani is very smart. She does know the material like the back of her hand. However, this is her biggest flaw, she expects everyone to have the same understanding as herself. She rushes through problems and examples without giving explanations of steps. Would not recommend taking her courses.
I'm taking her class this semester and I don't think I'm going to be able to pass her class. She seems like a lovely lady but she does not give enough explanations and examples of the material. I listen and try to focus every class and I leave feeling so confused every time. I wouldn't take this class unless you already are very strong in math.
