I RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE WHO WANTS AN EASY A. U WILL LEARN BY BOREDOM THOUGH. I TOOK HER 4 DEP2000 & I RECEIVED AN "A". 1 OF THE EASIEST TEACHERS I'VE EVER TAKEN AT MIAMI-DADE!

a lot of extra credits, don`t buy the book because she send u a powerpoint for each chapter...its bored.....Easy teacher and class..Very good Proffesor.....

Boringist class in the world, but feeds you the answers to the tests. No reason not to get an A in the class. Could skip final if you have an A average in the other tests. At least 3 tests, and a research paper she doesn't really check. Attendance is mandatory, but i skiped the final weeks and still got the A. Easy but boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This class was very interesting to me and I actually liked to read the book. She is a good teacher who is helpful and explains everything well. I never had to take the final since I had all A's on tests :) Take her class, she is great.

She is a very nice lady who is always there for you. She gives extra points and drop the lowest grade. If you have an A in class, you dont have to take the final. She explain very well and review all the chapters before the exam. if you dont get a good grade, it is your fault. I strongly recommend her.

If you score As in the first four tests, you dont have to take the final or you may take five tests and she drops the lowest grade. Study power points, read the book a bit, and do her outlines and the extra credit and you are guaranteed an A. Totally recommend her.

BEST teacher in the world! She is super nice, and her class is easy. Everything is done through power point presentations, therefore you dont really need your book. I got an A on her test by just studying her presentations. Gives extra credit, and is really nice about attendance issues. A++++!!!!

She gives you study guidelines online on what's gonna be on the test, so just study your notes thoroughly and you'll be fine. Don't leave the studying to last minute. I took this prof. a year ago; I still remember her. She make the class interesting and gets students involved. She provides review and drops the lowest grade. No homework or quizzes, but extra credits which always help. Highly recommended.

Salvatierra is the nicest lady. DONT buy the textbook you wont need it at all. I didnt buy it and got an A+ Theres no homework but alot of extra credit opportunities, her tests are very straightforward straight from the powerpoints. Professor Salvatierra is amazing! She only gives 4 exams and she'll drop your lowest one. Go to the lectures and if you need extra help she has study session before each exam. The textbook is not needed at all. Only the access code so that you can complete the homework probes due every Sunday (not hard at all). Take this professor, she's great!

Nice person but bored me to death. my interest in the class went lower than it already was. Try to pay attention as much as you can Read the PowerPoints. If you have the book (not necessary) read it so you can have a better understanding. There are extra credit questions on her tests as well and at least 2 or 3 extra credit assignments on Angel.

The best professor at MDC. She loves to have discussions during her lecture. She has study sessions the week before the test. And she even gives you the extra credit questions that are going to be on the test. Attendance is important to her but if you miss 3-4 classes you still should be fine. DON'T COME LATE.

The class online was easy for me now i got a B only because i was unaware that we need to reply to 3 post so make sure you do, i was 5 points away from getting the A. There is 20 quizzes and 3 reaction papers. Extra credit is a research paper. The material is actually interesting so i recommended this class online. Final proctored.

Great teacher, really helpful if you need it. Gives tutoring sessions before exams and exempts you if you are doing really well in the class by the end of the term. Is very passionate about the subject and knows a lot about what she's talking about. Uses videos and audio to help students understand the material and likes interacting with the class.

I highly recommend this professor to anyone who is looking for a good professor. The only homework you have is on LaunchPad. She posts study guidelines and possible extra credit questions that may be included on the exam. Exams are every four chapters and about 30 questions. Perfect teacher, gives great examples that stick to your memory. Loved it.

She is an amazing teacher! She makes the material fun with her own personal anecdotes. The exams are fairly easy with a possible ten point boost in extra credit questions. She cares about her students and wants everyone to pass.

she's one of the best professors I've ever had at dade. if you don't pass with an A it's because you didn't try at all. she gives you study guidelines for her tests and as long as you follow it, you're guaranteed an A. she's super sweet and you're going to want to take her again, especially if you're a psych major and you need your psych credits.

I took her for human sexuality. Honestly a great professor. You don't need the book because she gives you her powerpoints. She gives you a list of what to study before the test, so as long as you use it, you should be fine. I highly recommend her.

She's truly the only professor at Wolfson that knows how to teach. She doesn't read off from the powerpoints like most. She uses real life examples to help you understand and she does a lot of visual learning like showing a 4 min video about something so everyone gets a better understanding. I took this class online and it was an OKAY experience. She does keep up with student progress and does respond to emails on time. Felt like the course was a bit overwhelming at times, but I would say that's due to it being online and not her as a professor. Just beware of taking online. Quizzes and final consists of heavy meticulous memorization

Truly the best teacher I've had at Wolfson. She knows what she's saying and always backs it up with current facts. Really goes through the material and the only hw is on connect so no need for a textbook. She's likes telling stories and has great humor. If she's available definitely pick her over anyone else.

You will cover a lot of material in this class, but you will actually learn a lot. She knows the material very well, she also gives some extra credits. Hard to fail this class unless you do not show up. She gives you the exam review way before the test so you know what will be on the test instead of copying every slide. Homework is a must but it is easy just tedious. Exams are very simple multiple choice with extra credit questions at the end. Also drops lowest exam grade so you really can't fail.

I completely ADORE this professor she was amazing. Her class is simple study and youll pass she gives you a study guideline on what the test will be one. The hw is online & its easy only 17 you can literally get it done in 2 weeks. She actually teaches you & gets you interested in the class. TAKE HER. Dont miss to much class she lowers your grade

There's no study guides, so be prepared to read a lot. Take good notes, so that you do well on tests. Try to split reading into two sessions, so it's not too much work. She does not accept late work, so turn in quizzes b4 11:58 pm.

I took this professor for Human Growth and Development and also for Human Sexuality which was super interesting. She is amazing, I loved her lectures and I learned a lot. There is 4 exams the worst is dropped and there is also homework and extra credit. She is so nice and caring that I wish I could take her again.

WOW this is honestly the best professor at MDC . Her lectures are so interesting and engaging it makes you remember the information when the test comes . Took her for human growth & development. she was a nice teacher and her lectures got interesting as the class went on. theres an online portion to the class and little homework assignments nothing too much. The test are a little hard if you dont study, and there was 4 of them. Just show up and so do your work and you should pass. 9/10

Take this class and definitely take it with her! Not only is she passionate about the material, but she leaves no question unanswered, even if it strays away from the topic. the works is hard and most of the quizzes are not easy at all. Very high level of expecation. That being said, she is kind, respectufl, willing to work with you and help you. Very responsive to emails. if the subjemct matter was not as hard, she would be a 7 star teacher. Do consider that the test are VERY HARD. keep that in mind when taking this.

This class was NOT the easiest, but she is the nicest and really wants you to pass if you put in the effort. She responds to emails very fast and is very clear and helpful. If I ever had to take a hard class again, I would choose Ms. Salvatierra a million times.

She is very nice and has open due dates. She also helped with grades, reduced the % for the final exam, and expanded the chance to submit improved work. The quizzes are hard as if we were all Psychology majors. She is very strict and it's not a bad thing but I was fine just knowing the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.

The class is challenging, but the professor is helpful and responsive. Using unstuck study and other study tools like ChatGPT helped me succeed. Overall, a rewarding experience.

very nice and caring and wants to see every student succeed in her class. Attendance is graded every class and there's 4 essays, 8 online quizzes and 16 homework assignments. She also gives 2 EXTRA CREDIT opportunities that you should 100% do as you will need them as the quizzes are hard and pull down your grade a LOT.

The professor itself is good, she is caring, but my problem comes with the class that is very difficult and you really have to pay attention and after class time to do the hw and study for all the quizzes. QUIZZES ARE PROCTORED! and tbh what she would teach in class is very basic knowledge about what the quiz is going to be.

This class was difficult but manageable if you want to learn social research. The teacher was super helpful and understanding. The were 8 quizzes open notes with lockdown browser. The homework was hard but based on the lectures so take notes and study also participate. I recommend this class and would take again.

Honestly her class wasn't bad. I really loved her lectures for the most part, she was fun and engaging. Her teaching style is really good. However, her attendance is super strict. Your attendance is graded based off participation, tardiness, and showing up. That's probably the only thing that annoyed me but I recommend her class anyway.
