SOOO EASY. Make sure to show up for videos and and the days that she goes over the study guide. Whatever she tells you to put on the study guide is exactly what is on the test
Her notes are very unclear, as if she never took an English class in her life. Tests are based on her notes and the videos, so going to class and paying close attention is the only way to do well on them. I would not recommend her.

She is a nice and weird lady. I really like going to lectures because I find this stuff interesting. I had a tough time with tests for some reason but I have friends that did very well. She gives cd quizes which are easy points because u can practive on the cd before submitting so u get perfect.
This will be the easiest class you will ever take. All you need to really do is show up for the movies so you can write your little papers and show up for the review as she tells you every single thing that will be on the test. No jokes
Fun class and pretty easy as long as you were there for the movies and did the papers!
She is weird but this is relatively easy class even if you dont show up for class.Lectures are reading the powerpoints so its sometimes useless showing up.The tests aren't that easy but there are EASY online quizes and reaction papers to buffer your grade. If ur interested in an easy class take it.
Pretty easy. Take it if you want an easy, and kinda interesting class to fulfill a humanities requirement. Don't have to go to class, just print the notes and go to the review to find out what to study.
Okay, she is a really sweet & goofy lady that makes me laugh. BUT I've had a lot of problems with my grades. She lost my test and some of my grades 3 months later still haven't been changed. She's kind of scatterbrained.
She is completely worthless. No help, no knowledge. She is even kind of ****. I hated her and learned nothing. Read the books. All tests are on the readings. Lectures are worthless. She puts them online anyway. The only reason to go to class if for tests or quizzes.
Very sweet lady. Can be a little scatter brained at times. I was not interested in this subject until I took this class. It is a very interesting and EASY class to take! You can take the quiz before you take the real one so u have all of the correct answers. I definately recommend this class!
she just reads off of her powerpoint... i stopped going to class and passed with a B only because i didn't turn in movie notes...
Her lectures are straight from the powerpoints so no need to go. Attend class before exam and she gives answers. Don't ask her for help the T.A. knows more. Book is worthless.
This class is an easy A as long as you complete the online quizzes and response papers. She basically just reads through her powerpoints in lecture, but she does add quite a bit of additional information during the lecture. Review sessions are very helpful but do not cover all material on the exam.
she does like to engage discussion, exam reviews are extremely helpful. She is the kind of instructor that you will want to see a couple times outside of class to clarify what she wats on major assign. be creative, think critically, she wants to know what you think about, dont regurgitate info
A LOT of material covered in this class. The teacher seems knowledgeable, but she is VERY scatterbrained. She says one thing and means another. The study guides do not prepare you for the tests. But if you do all the homework, you can pull off an OK grade. I would try another teacher if you can.
This was a fun class to attend only becuase she says pretty funny things sometimes. Even if you don't do all the reading but come to class everyday and take notes, you can swing this class to a solid grade. She likes to hear your comments, speak up, don't be shy.it helps her, the class and you out.
Interesting class. Tests are easy, she tells you what is exactly on them. You have online quizes that are easy and time magazine articles you have to write your opinion about that is very easy as well. She also posts the notes online but if you miss a class the test are much harder.
Could possibly be one of the easiest classes at ASU.
Pretty easy. She is very helpful in this class.
Prof. Behnke is an unfascinating lecturer, and has difficulty keeping her class awake or treating them as mature. Ridiculously low expectations and ineffective class - unable to learn much without tremendous individual initiative. Tests and quizzes are a joke.
very easy class, prof was very nice and helpful. probably mostly because our TA was an idiot. print off the notes and stay awake in class and you'll be fine.
A tedious, scattered, ineffective lecturer with little insight into the subject matter. Unable treat her class as mature. She believes "critical thought" means writing in the first person. Extraordinary! Exam study guides were a joke - and did not help at all with the exams.
That guy below didn't like her very much I guess. I had no problems whatsoever. Lectures are structured, multiple choice exams can be kindof a ****, but study well. Good class all in all to take. She's more reasonable than others. Recommended.
She is very easy BUT her exams are from past years and she says that she dumps out questions that most of the class misses..not true. If you have an exam Q or want some sort of review she isnt too helpful. Incredibly scatterbrained.
This professor is one of the worst I've had. She is unable to write properly, very scatterbrained and sometimes waits weeks to grade things. I wouldn't recommend her unless you don't care at all about education content and are just looking for an easy class.
There where good and bad things about this class. Some days it was interesting some days it was not. it helps to print the notes because she randomly tells you what will be on the test. . The day before the test she usually goes over half the topics on it. really not a hard class, she's a nice lady just out there here and there
The course is pretty straight foward and the assignments are easy to understand.
interesting class. as long as you write long papers you get an A(i dont think she reads all of it though). easy if you have any religious backround. she appreaciates students two-sense and will go on "rabbit trails" but she's not scatterbrained.
she pretty much gives you the answers to the test the class beforehand...but she can be kinda boring
She has no idea what she is doing. She is so disorganized it boggels the mind how this woman managed to get a Ph.D!!! This class was a constant frusteration!!! NOTE: if your religious beliefs do not agree with hers this class will be harder.

gave me an "a" on my paper when i used the term "trick what up" as a quote..shes a ****
shes cool

her class is so easy! she pretty much gives you the answers to the test. her lectures arent so interesting but shes offers extra credit.. easy A!
Cool internet class. Very fair grading and interesting subject matter. Men may not like this class as much, though. It doesn't male-bash, it just offers more for the women.
She is such a great teacher! The class is so simple because shes very clear about the notes and you can even print out the powerpoints. She always offers extra credit! A terrific class! And she makes it interesting
This class was pretty cool.Everything is posted on blackboard.Few notes, though you hv to go to class for attendance.Multiple choice tests which you can use your notes on.Not super easy tho.One paper on whatever you choose.Overall, good class to take, sooo much better than Montesano's class which is comparatively a giant amount of work.
Avery interesting class, and you have to go to class because she gives out extra credit a lot. You have to study for the tests a lot, but she always goes over them before hand in class. Interesting class, but she doesn't always have the same info as the required text. Bases lectures off of "what I was told".
Yikes - she teaches Women & Religion yet ios unfamilar with which religons ordained women first and which have the most favorable treatment of women - she needs to expand beyond the 5 major world relgions in a class that this one
Ms. Behnke was unclear of what she wanted and was far from thorough in what she expected from the class. Her lectures were also unclear and she often corrected and re-corrected herself. The book as she says was incorrect which I highly doubt.
I took this class as well as the Women's Studies classes with her. Julia recognizes that the book is not all knowing and so also draws on information from those in class with experience. IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE WITH SOMETHING OR EVEN A BAD GRADE ON A TEST go see her in her office hours. She is EXTREMELY helpful.
I just wrote as much as I could for my essays and got As on all of them. If you write clearly, proofread, and answer the question then you should be fine. Her final multiple test was harder than I thought even though she said we would breeze through them.
I took this in summer school. Julia was helpfull and understanding. For the final she gave us complete info on what to expect. We need more teachers like her.
Never showed up at her office hours or responded to email or even when I left notes in the REL office for her. I went way out of my way to get the right grade--very disorganized. Lets her adult students in night classes run the show--even answer questions from other students!
internet course
she is a very nice teacher, she is very helpful. i feel very comfortable with her. she very easy. if you did not get your work done by the due time and if there is and emergency then she will extend the due date for you she is a very nice teacher once again. i took one the classes with her and i am taking her now and i might take her in the future.
I had her as an advisor and then later as a prof. It is true that she let's her adult students run the show. She doesn't have a backbone to be able to tell them when to be quiet. Also, she brought way too much of her personal opinion into the class.
Talks about herself A LOT! Also, there are always typos and grammatical errors on the tests and powerpoints which can be confusing. However, she makes the topics more interesting with videos
She was not very helpful, the only time you could talk to her was for a few secs after class and she never responded to any e-mails throughout the semester. If you pay attention and take notes on everything she says every single day (except her personal stories every few min) then an A should be easy. She gives extra credit 4 just showing up 2 class
This lady is a moron. Class is an easy A. Make sure you go to the reviews, bc she gives you everything on the test. If you've never gone to church, then study a lot on christianity bc she assumes everyone already knows the stuff.
She's very sweet but can be scatterbrained. Had never got a C on a test before this class, even after reading and using the notes ON the test (she lets us). Didn't learn a thing, so I wouldn't recommend this class because everyone was always lost.
Took summer internet class. Some work involved, but her notes pretty much give you the answers to the tests. She can be a little disorganized also, but an A is not hard to accomplish. Fair grader.
Wom/Rel-This internet class is awesome, worth taking. Few small essays, few tests, no big paper.Powerpoint very clear, tests are reasonable if have good notes.
Tests are hard, everything else is incredibly easy. She gives you the answers to the quizes on the CD that comes witht he book. Easy A for sure
so you dont actually have to go to this class, as she posts everything on blackboard... but still go to the review days. easy a.
By far the best class I have ever taken. She is so nice and knowledgable. Everything is on blackboard so you can bring the notes to class and just add on to them. Tests are pretty average....some easier than others. Definitely a class and teacher I recommend!
For some reason i had a hard time in this class.. it felt easy and i thought i knew the material well, but i got C's on the tests. Nice lady, dont need to go to class.. got a B in it
Easiest class I have taken at ASU. You dont even need to attend class. Just go to the review sessions and you will get 90% of the answers for the test. Easy A!
Great course and instructor!
super easy class, dont have to attend just go to the review days she tells you everything that is going to be on the exams. easy a
She reminds me of a grandma. She's so adorable. The tests are very easy if you study for an hour and attend one of the review sessions. I got A's on all of them. Easy course, nice woman.
I took this course online and it was it incredibly easy. All of the quizzes are online, so you never have to bother studying for those. The rest of the assignments are just a matter of writing down your thoughts to the required length. She is very nice about helping out the students. The tests were sort of hard, but there are ways around that.
She is sweet. All the quizzes are extremely easy and study from the guide she provides and your guaranteed a great grade!
Took this class online. Quizzes come straight from CD that came with the book, study guide is clear and everything comes from power points. If you ever have problems she is super nice and is more than willing to work with you. If you can, take this course with her!!!
Total airhead! She teaches you nothing. Her lectures are boring and unorganized. She will rush through her ppts and skip some slides just to get to her videos, which she shows almost every lecture. It is sometimes confusing trying to figure out what she's trying to say, and she brings too many of her stories and opinions into class!
She is really a nice woman. Her test is extremely easy. You will get an easy A
i took this course online and the tests are a little hard. she is really really really slow when it comes to emails. write down everything in the presentations.
Love love love her. she is so sweet. i took the online class. i felt like it was impossible to fail. anyone should be able to get at least an A or a B. im taking another one of her classes next semester and cant say enough good things about her
Easy A, don't expect an interactive experience.
Took the online class. Pretty easy, but if you get a bad grade on something, don't expect feedback. Four essay tests, but some questions can be confusing. Should be a relatively easy A, but not an interactive experience. The texts are really outdated. As a non-religion major, I didn't know what I was talking about half the time, but got an A anyway
I took this class online. She recorded her lecture to go over the PowerPoints and she's totally monotone. Spellings for things (i.e. names of gods) on powerpoints, study guides, and tests are all different. For the class, there are several weekly assignments due that seem like busywork.
Rel 100 is pretty easy, she doesnt respond to emails, bad spelling on everything. overall easy A or B without reading the book ever.
This online course was interesting. The teacher grades fairly (just make sure you use the proper font and size!! That error cost me the only 20 points I lost in the whole class!!) Just be patient waiting for grades, it takes her about 2 weeks to grade anything.
This class requires a decent amount of work, tests arent that easy, def. Get a B out of it though
This class was ridiculous. She reads directly from her powerpoints which usually do not make any sense. Also, if you do not meet the exact requirements on the papers she marks you off big time. The content of your paper does not matter. I would not recommend taking a class from her.
easy A online
easy online class, never read and got a B in the class. Video quizes are easy. Cd quizes are sometimes hard but not too bad.
If you dont get an A in this class online you need to go back to elementary school. This class took 5 minutes a week total. I almost forgot I was enrolled in it on some occasions. super easy. no use for the book and almost no reading at all. take this class!
Very easy class and perfect for it being online.
Summer Session I: Women in Religion. Very intense writing class. Very interesting material. Teacher is very kind. Be prepared to write a LOT. Easy to get points if you follow the format- margins, posting dates, etc.. Despite the rigorous writing, I found this class very interesting.
It was an easy class online and she was very understanding when it came to problems with blackboard. Her tests are a little tricky :-p but don't sweat it, they're not weighted that much. In other words, the class felt like i was in high school
Uses outdated, biased material, no interaction with students, no feedback, says papers are scored 25% on grammar & mechanics but everything she types is full of errors (I edit for a living!), doesn't discuss factual religious events, only uses the opinions and findings of biased feminist writers. Take the class for an easy A, not to learn.
She is super sweet and old. But she gets side tracked easily and there is always something wrong, either with the power point or the video or whatever, nothing ever goes perfectly. There are facts of religions, but she teaches you what her friends have taught her instead. It's an easy A. I think she's going back to teaching online after this class.
This class is a waste of my time. Most of the stuff is online so you don't even have to go to class. Easily sidetracked during lectures. I had interest in the subject before taking the class, but not anymore. She focuses on the trivial instead of what's actually important regarding religions.
If at all possible, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! Prof Behnke is completely useless as a teacher, and completely ignores the books in favor of anecdotes from friends. Her tests are difficult only because many of the questions are poorly worded or completely random. This has been my least favorite class.
I felt as though I was in high school again with Professor Behnke. The exams were easy due to the review sessions the day before them. Most of the assignments are online, and she always reminds you about the deadlines either in class or on Blackboard. I would recommend to those who want an easy A rather than an actual learning experience. Easy A!
This is one of the most frustrating classes ever, not because of the difficulty level (it is an extremely easy A), but because of her extreme bias against anything but Christianity. She is patronizing to other religions. and passes up facts for stories about her friends and mother. Don't bother buying the book, she only tests on her ppts.
Online class is really easy if you go through her pp and the book. She will still ask questions not from anything you read though. Complaints make her give you extra points. Quizzes are taken directly from the website, so it is impossible to get them wrong. Easy class though, I've always had more than 100%. She's not helpful though or smart.
Online. Easiest college class you'll ever take. Gives 10+ extra credit points when people complain (which they will). Your grade will be well above 100 if you're not an idiot. Very little book use; some of my classmates didn't even buy it & still got As. Lots of idiots in my class; complained about everything. Really annoying since she's SO easy.
I took this as an online course. Easy A+. All quizzes and tests are online. You can take practice quizzes before the real one so if you don't get perfect scores on the quizzes it's your own fault. Tests can be worded a bit confusing but if you listen to her powerpoints and takes notes, you should get an A. She gave us 50 extra credits points.
I took an on-line summer class. Professor was very nice and helpful. She always replied to e-mails. The class was not easy. Take this class only if you will have time to read a book and write. You will have to write several pages every other day. But if you will do everything in time, you should get a good grade.
I enjoyed this class more than I thought I would. I took it as a last minute class to fulfill a credit I needed, but I am glad I took it. Teacher was nice, helpful, and was a easy going on grading. There is a lot of work (6 essays, 4 response papers, and 5 DBs) so be prepared to work, but its worth it for the good, easy grade in the end.
Class was cake. Easy grader. Mostly essays and DB. I didn't even put any effort in my essays and still managed hundreds on them. I literally wrote like a high schooler would. Plus, information was quite interesting.
She is exremely knowledgeable and helpful. I learned so much from this class and I would definitely recommend taking this class. I would not rate this an easy class but she is definitely fair.
I loved this class and hhl recommend it. She was so helpful and knowledgeable, and se really cares about her students. This was one of the better humanties classes I have taken for sure.
She has the most unorganized syllabus, other than that she wants her students to do 2 written assignments and a entire chapter reading plus quizzes on each sub chapter every single week. I dropped the class after reading the syllabus, and I dont recommend her if you dont want too much workload!
