She is very clear, everything in class is on the multiple-choice test. There is also lots of extra credit. She is very nice and will answer questions anytime. Very down-to-earth.

Very Nice Teacher. She is nice to students and gives you about 6-8 points per test for extra credit (you must do homework and quizzes 4 the points). She also gives a free question or 2 on the last question of the test. But her tests are super hard! Very detailed, and you will not do well unless you spend min. 5 hours studying. The class itself id very difficult and requires tons of studying....but the class is going to be difficult no matter who the professor is. There is no word bank on the test so you really need to know your stuff...but she made the material much easier.

I love Mrs. Bowers, I had her for HSCI 2010, 2020, and 2021. I would suggest taking her for any class she is teaching. She's very helpful, even gives some extra credit. Her tests are very tricky, BUT she explains things very clearly if you take the time to pay atention to her. If you show up to class and ask questions about the things you don't understand, she will always take the time to explain things thoroughly and you will pass.

Bowers is an excellent teacher. She is always willing to help if you don't understand. I had her for A&P 1 & 2...made a B in 1 and an A in 2. If you go to class and take notes, then you won't have a problem. People say her tests are difficult because they probably didn't go to class or study. If you go to class and study you will be fine.

Take Mrs. Bowers!! She is knowledgable, friendly, and writes her own lecture notes on the board as she is speaking, so that way you know what to study! It can be a somewhat tough class at times (especially the lab portion of the course) but she is very helpful in making sure you learn the material.

This class was okay. However, all of her grades are test grades. Therefore, if you are not a good test taker then I would not advise taking this class.

Grade comes from tests only. Very note oriented class. Tests come straight from notes but very detailed questions. Pay attention to small things. Some extra credit. Possible to make 100+ on EACH exam. Requires study time. Helps to read notes and learn to understand the process rather than memorize info. Lab exams are easy memorization.

Julie is amazing. You have to study for the exams. She gives extra credit quizzes and will randomly give extra credit if you show up on days where most people don't (before breaks, rainy days, etc.). She is very caring and wants you to be successful and learn. Very lenient and empathetic when it comes to taking exams.

This is the lab that goes along with A&P 1. This is a tough class. There are two exams a semester. Here is what the exam is like: several models are on the tables. Models have sticky notes with arrows pointed to structures that you have to correctly identify. No word bank. You have to learn all of the terms and where they are located. Verydifficult

Mrs. Bowers is super sweet and genuinely cares for her students. She makes A&P as easy as possible. If you put in the hours and study hard, you'll do great! Her lecture tests are in the testing center and they are not my favorite because the questions can be a little confusing, but overall they are pretty easy. (Pro tip: take advantage of open lab)

Mrs. Bowers is one of the kindest people ever. She is always helpful and offers make up exams if you miss one. She is very accessible and responds to emails very quickly. She posts her lectures to youtube so you can access them easily without logging into your school account. Her lectures are exactly what she has on tests. Love this class..

Bowers is the best teacher I have ever had. She is very clear about how she grades and offers extra credit for every test. Her lectures were always so interesting and she was always willing to help out if I did not understand something! I would 100% recommend to anyone taking A&P

This instructor was amazing. She made A&P 1 and 2 so easy, she is very helpful and her lectures are very easy to understand. She always gives you all the material you will need for every exam. I would definitely recommend her.

She is so amazing! Her lectures are clear and easy to understand. The only grades are exams, but she offers so much extra credit. She makes class interesting and finds very funny analogies to help the class better understand the material.

I took Bowers online and if this is you sign to take it online...DO IT!! Since she only grades by exams only, taking notes and studying without having to worry about an upcoming quiz or discussion is amazing and so stress free.

It was a hard class; however, she was a great professor. Everything was organized. It is not an easy A class, but as long as you write down her exact notes and study, you will pass the class.
