Prof does good explaining all the material during class. She also uses video clips which really help explain things. I'd definitely take another class from her.

I like Prof. Hoch she is a good teacher and she knows the material very well. You have to study hard to deserve your A. Students that complain are the one who never attend class and never read the book and expect an easy A . No way Jose! She is not a boring teacher, she is passionate and dedicate and care about her students she is a must take.

Very Boring Very mono tone 90% of the class didnt come and then pack the seats during the test. She is nice though but very mono tone would recommend a laptop to keep you occupied during class Provides PP but reading the book is a guaranteed A Test are easy if you read the book and take notes on it. Prof. Hoch makes the class very interesting by encouraging participation and mixing lectures with videos, in class discussions, and handouts. If you have any questions you can find her during office hours and always provides good feedback. Exams are straightforward and if you attend class and take good notes you will do well. HIGHLY recommend!

There is 1 quiz every week, sometimes easy questionnaires, again both very easy and quick to complete. Easy A. There are 2 papers based on information in her lectures. There are 3 exams, all very easy and all the questions are EXACTLY from the quizzes! Definitely would take her again, super easy A. Very nice teacher.

Dr. Hoch is a wonderful teacher. It is hard to manage a very large class and through the assigment of online quizzez the class gets easier. She is a great person and cares about her students. Recommend it. Study and do the quizzes and you will pass the class. She is always available to help and go over the material.

I dont understand all the whining that many of you give to her here. Shes one of the best prof at CSUN. Her class is very straight forward and she told what she expected of you. I know many CSUN students are not that smart but dont blame it on your prof when you don't make it. She's fun, a great researcher, knows her stuff and helpful, and HOT !

Hoch is very nice but she is not suited for teaching. She can be confusing but she is approachable. Her antics makes for a funny yet annoying and boring class session. That said, the class is very easy if you show up, read the text, and do the projects correctly. I would take her solely because of the easy grading and not her teaching skills.

Hoch is a great professor! Do the assignments and get an A in the course. She gives extra credit and helpful study guides for the 2 midterms and final. She cares about her students and is always there to help. I would highly recommend her for anyone taking human resource management. Loved her class!

I took MGT 380 with her in fall. The course has lots cases, almost one very week. There is lots of reading, I love the cases because it makes the course much more applied. Slides are good supplements. Tests and project reports are fun. She lets you do projects in teams. Check out her website! She is the best and she really knows the stuff!

One of the best courses I have taken at CSUN. Great instructor, very clear. I don't know what some of these other comments have. She is very staightforward and the explanations are clear cut. Even the most stupid questions we had five times already, she remains calm and relaxed in answering. Good material. I really learned a lot. Best course ever.

Easy class I would highly recommend her if you want a class that won't stress you out too much. Her lectures can drag along but shes is very helpful and understanding of students. The exams are pretty simple because there straight forward. Textbook is optional as she gives out a lot of handouts on the material.

She is really nice and willing to help. Her class is not difficult and with some effort you should get an A. A case every week (very lenient on grading) 1 midterm 1 final. I would take her for another class. Everything is mostly based on slides. Pick a good group for last couple group assignments which arn't hard.

uses iClicker for attendance & participation points. she rambles too much where she goes over the class time, but she was very easy. this class was the least of my worries. her tests had questions from iClicker and Canvas quizzes. easy A! only has 2 essays but easy points to rack up! take her!

Professor Hoch is an amazing professor! Her lecture environment makes you feel comfortable to study, and if you have any questions regarding or not regarding the course, she is always available to clear out the confusion for you.

Easiest A you can get at CSUN. Her curves are insane. Quizzes are online and can be completed using Quizlet. No stress at all. Its good to have a class where you can just do the work and get a good grade if you are taking other difficult classes. But you probably will not retain any information once this class is over with.

You won't learn much, but it's an easy A - weekly online quizzes, a few online assignments, 2 essays, 1 test, 1 final. The test and final are super curved. Just don't miss the assignments.

Professor Hoch's class wasn't too strenuous and she's a very easy grader. Some people would get annoyed of her rants but I didn't mind. The work load isn't difficult so just make sure you complete it all. Getting an A or B in the class shouldn't be difficult.

All assignments & quizzes are easy 100%. The tests are 90% exact same questions from the quizzes. The papers are easy 100%. This should be the easiest class of your life. Take her if you want an easy class with a guaranteed A. B is the absolute lowest grade anyone can get here unless you do absolutely nothing.

This course is a LECTURE. She yes, what she does is LECTURE. There are 160+ enrolled she teaches 4 of them,so do the math and register those are 640+ people. There is no TA,no grading assistant. This is not an entertainment show to go and have "a fun time". Nor is it kindergarten where you get handheld. Grow up people. This is college.

Take her for management. This class was very stress free. 1 quiz and 1 online assignment once a week. Two papers. 1 midterm and final. Really easy. Recommend taking her if youre taking harder classes.

This class was an easy A so I would recommend taking her. She is not accessible outside of class and at times can be rude but her class criteria makes up for it. If you use Socratic, it is hard to get below 95% in the class, take her for a GPA boost!

If you watch the lectures she posted they have more structure than her live classes. Its an easy class yet you have an essay and weekly homework and quizzes. Never felt stressed with this class. Would take again! She is caring but does not reply to emails on time!

Julia Hoch is a very sweet lady. Her communication can be non-existent at times but she eventually responds. Class is assignment heavy but easy to complete. Her lectures are a bit un-organized but you get used to it. Exams are straight forward and if you study and do your work, there is no reason why you cannot get an A. Take the class!

Despite the professor being a mess, this class is easy. Given the difficulty of other courses like BUS302, MKT304, and ECON 308 this semester, I recommend taking this class to lighten your load and focus on the tougher subjects. The exams, consisting of 50 questions in 50 minutes, are challenging and conducted on Canvas with strict rules.

This class was one of the easiest courses ever. One meeting we did a few easy assignments from articles or YT videos and next meeting was a quiz on lecture which she posts on canvas. No lecturing in the zoom. I was in and out within 5 minutes. Just do the assignments or quiz fast and ur done. You dont need the book or lectures (Hint hint).

I was enrolled in Professor Hoch's online MGT 360 course and it was breeze. There two quick quizzes each week that counted as your participation. Attending the Zoom sessions weren't mandatory which made it convenient. She was available when questions came up. Highly recommend!

This class was without a doubt the easiest I've ever had. The system is clear, and all you have to do is follow the instructions. Mark your attendance and do the quizzes on time, and you're guaranteed an A. The only hard part of the class was turning everything in on time, because the rest was very easy.

I recommend taking this class if your other classes are heavier/more challenging, while still getting a good grasp of management as a topic. She responds to emails quickly, and the work is very doable. Highly recommend!

The most organized online class I've taken. It is synchronous meaning you need to take the attendance assignments between the given window, but they're only 1 question or short quiz. It is super doable and graded instantly. Professor replies fast. This is an amazing class to take if you're heavily loaded with other hard classes.
